Hmmm......why don't you just use his original backstory and add in a small part about how he joined the ATA? But anyways....just as long as he's a hero and he's dedicated in protecting the school/students I don't see why not.

You can make a guy who is part of a team of people who designed/re-designed The Irised. But he can't be the original creator

Kevin is neutral until you piss him off (easily done by the destruction of knowledge or by killing/hurting his friends), he defiantly isn't evil as per despite he being completely neutral about people dying in general he doesn't like wasteful deaths. But the most important thing to him is knowledge and therefore he serves as one of the best librarians and will continue to collect books and the likes (once got in a fight with a avenging angel which was assigned to guard a church due to this trait).

Would they get stuff (weapons, engines of any sort, power source, shields, or any other equipment) from an independent company? also do they build their own practice mechas?

Name:Leanius Gobren-Kotskov

Alias: Admiral

Species: Holbotton

Planet/Dimension of Origin: Holbot

Age: 20-ish

Gender: Gender-neutral

Side: Neutral

Camp Alma or House X?: House X

Electives: Art of War, Galactic Diplomatic Relations, Kendo

Normal Appearance: Leanius is a humanoid alien, colourful like a tropical lizard, with a barbed fin going from the top of his head, down his back, stopping at his lower back. The fin has some resemblance to that of a spinosaurus, although its more primitive. The most special are his eyes, entirely black, which reflect the sun almost like mirrors. His skin is keratin, like human hair, so very durable.

In Costume: His old uniform, a tight grey uniform, sometimes with an overcoat, whenever he’s outside.

Abilities/Skills: Leanius has a great tactical mind. He can dissect a battlefield, see most advantages and disadvantages, the use for his troops, and the possible moves for him and his enemy in no time at all. Give him a map and some numbers, like troop strengths and numbers, and he will give you the most likely moves of his enemy, and the ways to counter them. His brain has enormous processing power, combined with some skill and intuition not found in any computer. His powerful brain has given Leanius some crude telekinetic abilities, although those are still in its early phases. Right now, he can lift a dropped pencil, and let drops of water float. No throwing around cars for him.

Weaknesses: Helicon, bright lights, hard noises, any big impulses like explosions and great pains.

Personality: Enormously silent, introvert, bordering socially inept. He only talks during the Tactical Training, and even then he keeps it to a bare minimum, using gestures whenever possible. Whenever something is said to him, he acknowledges it with a short nod with his head, but nothing more. He can often be seen in the Garden of Eden, walking about, or in the library, reading old books.

Short Bio: Leanius was born to be a commander. This is probably the most literal meaning I can give that sentence. He was bred for it. From the moment of his perception in a stasis tube on the planet Holbot, small zygote Leanius, or DX-10040-YYU as his name was, was prepared to lead the armies of his homeland, the Most Serene Empire of Halbot, embroiled in a civil war for the fate of the planet and everything on it. They fought the Free Republic of Halbot, a force for liberty and democracy. These two realms had been at war for decades, for five decennia, and there was no end to it. Soldiers were bred like cars on an assembly line, ready to be chucked into combat to die hours, days, months or years later. Among the bred soldiers were commanders, creatures made for brain power and a good knowledge of tactics. These commanders were plugged into computers, straight from their brain, and from there, they commanded the armies of both sides with vigour, ruthlessness and extreme skill.

One faithful day, a day worth remembering but remembered by only one, something went wrong. Some wrong mixture of liquids was poured in the stasis tube of an embryo, DX-10040-YYU. Normally, this fault would have been noticed, but it went past the radar without anyone taking action. That proved fatal. Years later, when the subject was ready to be put into the mainframe, that fault came to light. As soon as he was plugged into the computer, DX-10040-YYU’s brain proved to be too free, too creative, and far out of control. In an enormous override, a crash, and the mainframe coming under complete control of DX-10040-YYU, he launched every single nuke at his disposal, as a result of the incomplete connection his brain made to the computer. He still bears the scars of that on his head, usually obscured by headphones. In a response, the Free Republic fired back everything they had. The result was a planet, once green and beautiful, full of life, sterilised by nuclear fire and fallout. Not one organism survived. Even extremophiles did not live to see the sun rise the next day. There was only one survivor, escaped in the emergency procedure he himself had activated. His escape craft shot into outer space, searching for the nearest safe hub of civilization. That would be earth. For days, he drifted in the cold void of space, half awake, half aware of what he had done. Not for long, however, as his memories began to fade due to the severe stress on his brain that had followed. The commander, only a toddler then, landed on Earth, to be picked up by the British military immediately, and shipped off to the training centre at the first opportunity. Since then, about seventeen years ago, Leanius has been part of the school.

Theme song: Pachelbel’s canon in D-minor

Any Additional Info?: Nobody knows what he has done, what species he is of, or why he is how he is. Countless have tried to get into his head, but with no success. Some with psychic abilities have tried, only to be taken to a hospital for the next three months. Some people, strong of will or intelligence, might have guessed that he is scarred by his history, but no one can know for sure what goes through him.

Name: He doesn't tell people this.
Alias: The Director
Species: Gallifreyan/Time Lord
Planet/Dimension of Origin: Gallifrey
Age: 500
Gender: Male
Normal Appearance:
Image

Image

In Costume: N/A
Abilities/Skills: Regeneration, Time and Space Travel via TARDIS type 105, Intuitive, also he has a Sonic Gauntlet (works like the Sonic Screwdriver in Doctor Who, but the Director thought a gauntlet would look cooler... and he was right).
Weaknesses: Helicon, it keeps the TARDIS from traveling... anywhere. It stops a regeneration from occuring. A powerful EMP can stop his gauntlet.
Notable Qualifications: He's been a part of much Alien History, having traveled through time and space.
Subject/Class Taught: Extraterrestrial Social Studies
Personality: He's an easy-going guy, and is slow to anger. He can be serious when he needs to be, and will not tolerate disrespect, unless EVERYONE is in on the joke.
Short Bio: The Director, as he is known as to everyone at the school, was born 500 years ago, or perhaps from now, on the planet Gallifrey. He is what is known as a Time Lord, in their society. He was given a TARDIS, which took on the appearance of a tinted, walk in Telephone booth (it's much bigger on the inside) and began to use it to make the universe a better place. He has only used one Regeneration. He came to the school when he heard about a position open for Extraterrestrial Social Studies. The Director signed up immediately, and before long he was hired (thanks to recommendation from the future).

The Director was a part of the Last War of Villains, which most people don't remember thanks to him. He has helped the ATA since the beginning, whether he was born then or not, as again, he has a TARDIS. The Director is a firm believer in 'Right makes Might', though he never tells anyone what it means. Many of the members of the ATA would say that they met him at their turning point, and he actually helped inspire them to become heroes. Not much else is known except that he would pop up from time to time and help the ATA.

Yeah, it's basically a big "I am evil" sign. "Will abandon morals for power". That sort of thing. A little bit like teaching corruption and fraud in schools, methinks.

Name:Roy Talisman
Alias: Demon
Species: Basically Human
Planet/Dimension of Origin:Born on a planet called Narso in a cluster of solar systems.
Age:32
Gender: Male
Normal Appearance:
like this, but with glassesImage

In Costume: He doesn't really have a 'costume' but he does have an alternate form.
Image

Abilities/Skills: The ability to transform into a 'demon' form. This can both be triggered willingly, and not. If he gets too angry, the transformation happens automatically, but he can also change at will if he wants. He will sometimes be in this form for no apparent reason.
Lie Detection: Roy can detect lies. He can't automatically know the truth, but he can know when someone is lying.
Access and occlusion: Basically, he can lock and unlock any door at will. Whether a key door, or a door with a keypad.
Technological understanding: He automatically understands how technological devices work. For example, if you put him in a mecha for the first time, he would automatically understand how to use it.
Weaknesses:Zetium and holy water, strangely enough.
Notable Qualifications: The fact that he automatically knows how to use Mechas with perfect accuracy is a pretty good qualification for teaching how to use them, I'd say. That, and he used them in a war.
Notable Achievements:Nothing especially notable. He's the only person to escape from the oppressive rule of the police force where he comes from. He has also stopped quite a few crimes, but nothing particularly big.
Subject/Class Taught: Mecha Piloting
Personality: Roy has been said to have multiple personalities. Generally he's open and friendly, and enjoys having fun in the way of pranks or jokes. But sometimes he can become closed off and cold. It's generally when he's like this that he is in his 'demon' form.
Short Bio: The place Roy grew up in had it's troubles, to say the least. Despite being so far away from Earth, there is literally no difference between humans from Earth and humans from the core planet of where Roy was born. He was raised an orphan, moving from one orphanage to another, as none were accept him, calling him 'Demon-spawn' or simply a 'Demon'. The planets in the solar systems that had been colonized were ruled by an oppressive police force, who saw the evil that they did as doing good. Roy's homeplanet was one of the few worlds left from their clutches, but that didn't last long. When he was 19, the world was attacked simply for the planet's government trying to protect people from the police force's rule. In the end, people had to make an escape, as the police force thought that dropping an asteroid on the planet would be a good idea, killing billions of innocents and leaving the rest of the resistance stranded in space. Roy immediately joined up with the resistance, pissed beyond anything he'd ever been before. He stayed with the resistance, becoming one of the two leaders, until they were defeated when he was 25. Those who remained of the resistance bought him time to leave and go somewhere else, somewhere beyond the reach of the police force. The reason they did this was because of all he had done for them. That, and they wanted to stay and take down as many police force assholes as they could along the way. Roy kissed his wife good-bye, as she refused to leave her people, and left, finding a new solar system to make his home. This solar system was Sol, and the planet, Earth. He arrived half-starved, his ship running on fumes, and was basically rescued by the ATA. He decided to join up with them to help do good, so this solar system didn't slip and become like his home. He eventually decided to become a teacher for the school.

I would, but it really doesn't fit Esben (and his mom would throw a fit). That being said, Esben might not get much out of Magic&Mysticism, especially if it's practical instead of theory based, as, while his powers are magical in nature, they're really limited. Depending on the class, it might make more sense for him to either drop it completely, or, because it is kind of an important thing for someone with some magic to study, get tutored. Possibly by a teacher with understanding of magic and too much time on his hands. In other words, if: after everyone's signed up, you are really short on students; M&M turns out to be a waste of time for Esben; Abel is cool with it OOC; Principal Prey is cool with it IC; and you're actually interested; then you'd have a student.

Great! It's nice to know that Esben has another option should the normal class not work out, which I frankly find probable as enough people at this school likely have fairly standard magic so that it seems likely that the class will have a significant practical aspect, and I can just imagine how that would work out...

Teacher- Today, we're going to work on changing the color of objects! (Or something)
Esben- *raises hand*
Teacher- Esben, just sit in that corner and, um, translate some spell books or something...

Yep.

I don't really see DA as taking any sorcerous skill, it's more about the occult aspect of things e.g. you don't need magic to summon a demon, but it helps in case the demon breaks free.

Huh. That being said... His mom is rather protective.

Perhaps, particularly if you really don't wish to stick around for more than a year, you should ask Abel to let you also teach a class covering how to defend yourself against the dark arts. :p

Name: Conor Hellfyre
Alias: Reaper
Species: Homo Magi
Planet/Dimension of Origin: Earth
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Side: Neutral/Anti-Villain
Camp Alma or House X?: Camp Alma (he may be a sociopath but he hides it so well)
Electives: Witchcraft/The Dark Arts, Magic/Mysticism, Majikkujutsu/Mystical Martial Arts, Gun Kata/Hojutsu, Art of War/Tactical Training
Normal Appearance:

Appearance

Appearance

In Costume: N/A
Abilities/Skills:
-Darkness Manipulation
-Reanimation
-Death Empowerment
Weaknesses:
-Relies on killing others to sustain his powers.
-Can only reanimate the dead for a short period of time or else he'll begin to suffer adverse side affects.
-Darkness Manipulation can again consume his energies over extended use. As well this is ineffective against light manipulation weilders.
-His personality can make him hard to get along with.
Personality
-A calm, reserved and altogether very mature and mild-mannered individual despite his age he can seem distant towards others but nonetheless is capable of putting on what he calls 'false smiles' when the situation calls.
-Gifted with high intelligence he has a very pragmatic and philosophical outlook on the universe and can also be very cynical when it comes to things such as religion and human nature, making him very sharp tongued towards others.
-Furthermore due to his composed nature he is noted for his patience and strategic thinking on and off the battlefield. Although while on it in the heat of the moment he can become a very sadistic individual before quickly flipping the switch and returning to his usual self.
-To add despite his own doubts with regards to humanity and its nature he is a highly ambitious individual with no scruples when it comes to sacrificing others to achieve his goals adding to his ruthless nature.
Short Bio: Born in London, England on September 14th 1997 he was born to international journalists and journeyed the world with them not knowing that secretly they themselves were homo magi trying to discover the famous philosophers stone. Eventually his parents decided to induct him into the world of magic privately training him in simplistic magic, however Conor soon proved like a duck to water and began to surpass his training becoming a magician in his own right. And in short enjoyed what was a happy childhood as he toured the world.

However all good things must come to an end, and that end came in East Africa in 2007 his parents while reporting were caught up in a coup. Not able to flee he war torn country they ultimately would perish during the conflict when their hotel fell to rebels, and Conor watched as his parents were murdered before his own eyes and himself was brutally beaten and left for dead. At that moment his childhood shattered and filled with vengeance Conor gave into the urge to seek vengeance and fell into depravity as he unleashed dark magic killing hundreds as he stalked his parents killers through the warn torn nation before brutally massacring them.

Now having given into the darkness of his own heart and breaking magical taboos by using his powers for darkness he opted to delve deeper into the occult to increase his own powers. Now motivated by the idea that the 'strong devour the weak' from his hellish hunt in the hellhole he'd been trapped, he took control of his parents assets and began to pursue black magic with a passion. A passion which he pursued ruthlessly as he journeyed the world and eventually performed an arcane ritual which granted him powers in necromancy. Now calling himself Reaper he opted to support himself through offering his services as a freelancer and more recently an information broker (the latter from finding that sometimes information was worth more then gold) and has since largely moved around the world all the while pursuing the dark arts in the hopes of gaining his ultimate goal, immortality.
