TEA: Abstain; it sort of schizos between moderate, lefty, and compromising with the right too much for me but I don't dislike it enough to vote against.
SWA: Aye
TZA: Aye; I'm very happy about the clause about not observing DST, which is a moronic but bizarrely popular concept.
AYSA: Aye; I honestly expected this would be something about giving silly amounts of power to the kids, but I am pleased that it avoided my expectation.
SMA: Aye; However, it should be amended to include liters, which, while derived from meters, are used with sufficient frequency to merit their own mention.
OAEA: Nay; Granting useless prizes to political allies of the president (and we are all acutely aware that they will be the ones chosen) is stupid, okay?
NCRA: Aye

First Amendment to the Broadcasting Act
Author: Ainin [TR] | Urgency: Very Low | SIMBEDS: Domestic Development
Sponsors: Inyourfaceistan [LP], Minarchist States [LP], Bering [NDP], New Zepuha [NDP], Gothmogs [PDP]

The Senate of the Aurentine Commonwealth,

Noting that the Aurentisë Televisënetwörk, as Aurentina's public broadcaster, was prohibited from carrying any form of commercial advertising by the Broadcasting Act,

Acknowledging that this clause was flawed and that advertising revenues are essential to keeping television networks profitable and financially viable,

Wishing to reduce the strain imposed by the activities of the Aurentisë Televisënetwörk on the Budget of the Aurentine Government,

The following act, to be referenced to as the First Amendment to the Broadcasting Act of 2013, is passed into law:

The clause of Section IV of the Broadcasting Act reading "ATN shall not carry any advertising, save for Public Service Announcements" is struck out and rendered null and void.

Oh man, with all this hubbub about delays in the queue I forgot to submit FLaRRA to the queue!

I wish to change my vote on the Social Welfare Act from Aye to Nay, my reasoning being that I believe that the Universal Credit already covers this area sufficiently enough and in fact this on top of the UC would be extremely expensive.
