@ Zeinbrad; unfortunately it seems that the map exists only in butchered form, and already heavily marked up form. Though I do think I remember where I can find an intact/pristine one, let me get beck to you. And if I'm online tomorrow, and I haven't by that time, feel free to yell at me because that means I forgot.
@ Entunarii & Tribea; Please hold on for a while. While there isn't a hold up preventing from getting around to your apps, I am rather bogged down this evening, so I'll try and get around to reviewing them soon. Hopefully tonight, but things are hectic!
And yeah, page 6 came and went! I need to find some Co-OPs,... but no one has volunteered. x2x

I was a Co-OP for NEAR and FAR, as a result I nominate myself. Challengers to my reign shall be summarily shot.

The Nuclear Fist wrote:Species Name: The Colours-of-Midnight
Appearance: Due to their nature as parasitic amoebas, most of the species exists as a hybrid of captured local fauna. However, there are a few common forms. Those are purestrains, of course.
Biology and anatomy: First and foremost, the amoebic 'purestrain' form of the Colours-of-Midnight are naturally an impossible hue, a naturally developed defense mechanism. This makes detecting them by eyesight difficult and staring at them disorienting, as they are a colour most eyes quite literally cannot perceive. The amoebas themselves have a very simple biology, and as a result do not age (non-senesce). Barring grievous harm, it is theoretically possible for one to live forever. When having taken and mutated a host, however, the host is liable to break down with time. Typically half its normal lifespan, if that.
Height: It varies, of course.
Weight: Also varies.
Relative survivability: A single amoeba is very unlikely to survive very long, and as a result they will often take hosts as soon as possible. When a host is not available, large groups of amoebas will form singular organisms together in what is typically known as 'purestrains'. The suvivability of a purestrain largely depends on the environment it was formed in.
Natural Defenses/Abilities: Their ability to rapidly adapt to assume control of new organisms and to adapt to new environments and conditions.
Unnatural abilities: I am not sure what this means.
Respiratory Gas: Colours do not breathe, and as a result do not have a respiratory gas. When they take a body as a host, however, they adapt to breathe the gas of the host body.
Base composite Element: Strange matter, if it can be called 'matter' at all.
Base Form and Ethnic Variations: Due to their nature, there will be countless variations.
=========================================================
Life Span: The amoeba itself is biologically immortal, and can only die from grievous harm. The amoeba does not die upon the death of its host, though the host will typically live in between one third and one half as long as a non-infected member of the host's species.
Reproduction: As time passes and more genetic information is gathered, an amoeba will grow larger. Once it has reached its 'hard limit' on size, it will split off smaller amoebas.
Intelligence Level: An amoeba can be said to be roughly as intelligent as a human.
Traits/Behavior/Disposition: Extremely religious, worships the Terror-at-Midnight, Damballah, like a god. When a person is infected by a Colour, their mind, memories, and thoughts are all absorbed into the collective pool of knowledge available to all Colours in the region. Indeed, they themselves become one with the God-Consciousness. This is seen as the utmost honour.
Type: Eldritch Abomination.
Aggression: Five.
Society and Cultural information: See above.
Important Characters:
-The Terror-at-Midnight, also known as the God-Consciousness or Damballah
-Prophet of Dawn
-Oracle of Dusk
-Others to be added

That would be interesting indeed.
You best be working with low surface tension stranglets, or invent some metstability inducing handwavium. Or, that failing, and ice-nine would be intriguing to RP.
