Base Form and Ethnic Variations: Due to their nature, there will be countless variations.

When a person is infected by a Colour, their mind, memories, and thoughts are all absorbed into the collective pool of knowledge available to all Colours in the region. Staring at a Colour-of-Midnight often induces powerful migraines and, in some cases, madness. This is due to their strange matter form, which exudes bizarre energies and produces a coloured hue that cannot be perceived by most methods. What that means is that, to most creatures, their forms literally cannot be perceived. It is suggested that when dealing with a Colour you instead keep it in your peripheral vision, where light and the like bouncing and reflecting around its form will allow you to see it without causing problems.
