Style: -2

Manager: Bridget Scroves

Goalkeepers:
1. Bruce Millar (Excelsior Slogda) (m) Pretty outgoing and laid-back by goalkeeper standards.
13. Emily Winters-Neumann (Twineur Bugs) (f) Far more withdrawn, has a silent feud with Keane-Liuprand.
23. Dominik Topi (Trebuchet Cham) (m) (first tournament: WC66)

Defenders:
2. Dima Novak (Athletik Thessia) (m) (1 goal) Tallest starter.
3. Jerzy McFetridge (Keppal Cosmos -> Abingdon Celtic) (m) (1 goal) Fast going forward, also can be quick to sort of come to terms with weird stuff going on and adjust to that.
4. Brett Chrowder (Canbix Muses) (m) The captain, and a serious business type.
5. Vipin Lamin (Namiri Forest) (m) Kind of wry, likes pithy lists.
15. Marlene Jamieson (Keppal Cosmos) (f) Has a flair for show biz, which hopefully does not mean that she's a diver.
19. Luanne Delvale (Arlington City) (f) Drawing comparisons to our first captain from the old team (because of being a Lutheran dork worked up about weird multiverse theories, not for being good at defense).
21. Angela Rose-Dauphine (Spenson Suburbia) (f) (first tournament: WC65)
22. Sara Hale-Barnard (Canbix Muses) (f) Draws professional fouls.

Midfielders:
6. Patricia Eliot (Canbix Muses -> Matthew City Rangers) (f) (2 goals) Draws...unprofessional fouls.
7. Joan Gerland (Spenson Suburbia -> Matthew City Senators) (f) (4 goals)
8. Davi Keane-Liuprand (Ephesian FC) (m) (1 goal)
10. Martina Ruan (FTC United) (f) (5 goals) Relatively proud of Zwangzug's quirks, wants to show them off and not be just another country.
11. Shula Bachchan-Laum (Namiri Independent) (f) (1 goal) Argumentative, although not so much with the ref, just likes to get the last word.
12. Xolani McKiegna (102d Jr.s) (m) (3 goals) Brother-in-law of a top-level sailor. Likes tactics, wants to coach someday.
14. Tullio Schi (Bassabook Old Boys) (m) (first tournament: CoH 57)
16. Antje Kurzmann-Tremme (Eintracht Trink) (f) (3 goals) Concerned about self-/family-defense now that she's a big time person. Nervy, not in a good way.
17. Rudolf Sternberg (Ephesian FC) (m) (first tournament: WC65) Hails from Clunvers, the suburb with the "Big Max" meteorite fiasco, and glad to be making his name for something else.
18. Vera Woredann (Excelsior Slogda) (f) (first tournament: WC66)

Forwards:
9. Khamisi McCluey (Rovers United - > Royal Rumiatzi) (m) (first tournament: CoH 57)
20. Arlo Rais-Sonnen (FTC United) (m) (first tournament: WC66)
The normal starters are 1-11, though this will likely change. The most likely starting formation would be:

...............__________.........
................|Millar|..........
McFetridge..Chrowder..Novak..Lamin
...........Eliot..Bachchan-Laum...
................Keane-Liuprand....
.............Ruan......Gerland....
.................McCluey .........

When not indicated, players debuted in the WC64 qualifiers. The reserve defenders would tend to line up (right to left as they see it, or left to right in this diagram) as Rose-Dauphine, Jamieson, Delvale, Hale-Barnard if they're all playing at once. The midfielders would have Woredann and Sternberg in defensive midfield, Kurzmann-Tremme in the center, and Schi and McKiegna as attacking midfielders. Expect plenty of variation, particularly up front--we wouldn't want to risk inflating the lone striker's goal tallies, though then again we're not expecting to have much in the way of goal tallies, period. Zwangzug play a defensive style, as noted, and while they'll obviously be weak overall they're particularly unskilled on headers. Some players might chance a professional foul, but they're really not a violent team.

More than you ever wanted to know about Zwangzug can be found in our factbook, a pastiche of in-jokes, allusions, moments of pride, retconned "what was I thinking?!" moments, and much more from the last, er, six-plus years. Unless you wanted to know things like "why are there so many -ed names" (egalitarian parents, not being posh) or "what about the Mc" (it's a common morpheme among our Bigtopian community, who knows why). Well, if you have more questions, you can ask.

In particular, a summary of the original national team's history (fl. WC33-42) is available. I should really get to wikifying biographical pages for some of the more colorful bygone players. Poke me about that.

Colors: White with black stripes. Or black with white stripes. We go for the basics.

Home schedule: Five different stadiums this time around! Why not.

MD1 vs. Southwick: Wayr Stadium, located in the Rackham Range of mountains.
MD3 vs. Andossa Se Mitrin Vega: Pacific Field, Bassabook.
MD5 vs. Myeeria: Pallocci Pagoda Park, FTC.
MD7 vs. New Matawan: Eglantine Park, FTC.
MD9 vs. Maklohi Vai: Simplex 3, 102d.

If RPing first, please feel free to name goalscorers, injure, and distribute cards to my players at will! You can also godmod events, though I'd appreciate advance warning if you want to take narrative liberties that I couldn't just as easily do to your team (due to being, e.g., an MT, all-human country). Put another way, metaphorical "godmodding" is welcome if clever, but I'd avoid the literal sense.

If you'd like to collaborate on a storyline, drop me a telegram! Always up for new ideas.

OOC: For fair RP bonus attribution, most of the characters included on this roster are from the Doctor Who TV Series (and from a couple of Dr. Who books) and are either real, as in play a part in the series, or just random variations but from the species listed in Dr. Who. Some names will come from the members' list of this thread. For more background info, most of the species should be found on Wikipedia; except for Lazarus, for which you need to search for 'The Lazarus Experiment'. For the Raxacoricofallapatorians, search Slitheen. For Silurian, see 'Cold Blood' or 'The Hungry Earth' (followed by Doctor Who if necessary). For Rory, search 'The Pandorica Opens'.

Manager: Rassilon (Species: Time Lord; the first Lord President of Gallifrey, Rassilon created the Eye of Harmony, which gave the Time Lords their time travelling ability. All in all, he became the foundation of Gallifrey, although that may all be just public relations. He had discovered the secret to immortality, but was deposed by rebellious Time Lords, before going into an eternal sleep in the Tomb of Rassilon, located in the Death Zone. Late on in the Time War, he was seemingly brought back to direct the war efforts, but as he was willing to destroy the Time Vortex and thus the whole of creation [in the Whoniverse, if not all universes], to win the Time War, the Doctor time-locked him and the whole of Gallifrey.)
Assistant Manager: Adam Loftus (Normal human, aged 71; returned to the national team after a break of a few World Cups, but has basically been the behind the many managers there have been since the creation of the team back in World Cup 49 [OOC: a bit like Stuart Pearce of England].)
Coach: Sameer Ahmad (Normal human, aged 52; is the older brother of Shabeen, and also has one of the higher goal counts, but has been much eclipsed by his brother's success.)
Coach and Team blogger:Shabeen Ahmad III (Normal Human, aged 50; has scored over 200 goals for the EL national team, and is still an inspiration to everyone, nearly taking the team to the playoffs in World Cup 58, which has his first foray into full management.)

This team were all taken out of their respective time-lines by Time Scoop technology, so where some may be dead by this time, they are alive at this point in space-time. And it was the ELFA who did this, with the help of its inventor, Rassilon.

Goalkeepers:

Blon Fel-Fotch Pasameer-Day Slitheen: Species: Raxacoricofallapatorian (family: Slitheen); refer to as Blon. Was caught impersonating MI5's Margaret Blaine in 2005 (Earth time), where she and her family members were planning to instigate World War III and turn the planet into fissile material, ready to sell. With the plan destroyed by a well-timed Harpoon missile, she managed to escape, but was the only one. She then went on to become Mayor of Cardiff, using a nuclear plant and the Cardiff Rift to attempt to escape. She did, but in doing so regressed into an egg, and was delivered to the hatcheries on Raxacoricofallpatorius for a second chance at life.

The Abzorbaloff: Species: Unknown, but related to Raxacoricofallapatorians (albeit despising them); Originating from Raxacoricofallapatorius' twin planet, Clom, this particular one came to Earth and tricked a group of humans who were searching for the Doctor to join him, but eventually absorbing them all to satisfy his hunger.

Outfielders (Basically, this lot can play anywhere on the pitch apart from in goal):

Strax: He was a Commander for the Sontaran Military, but was disgraced for an unknown reason, and then was forced to become a nurse by the Doctor, to settle a debt. Has since become a member of the Doctor's Victorian London detective team.

Reaper: Species: Reaper; Flying bat-like creatures with scythe-like tails, the Reapers are extradimensional beings, who have the ability to materialise in normal spacetime when a paradox occurs, devouring everything in the area to repair the damage. They can be stopped by material barriers, the older the better, but not permanently, and a paradox on the other side of the barrier will let them through quicker.

Madame Vastra: species: Silurian; Is another of the people who the Doctor a debt, in this case, it is for saving her from a life of crime and hiding out in the early London underground, and she in turn became a veiled Victorian detective. Part of the Doctor's Victorian detective team.

Creet: species: Toclofane/Human (from the year 100 trillion and reduced to live inside metal balls); With the universe on the brink of ending, a group of humans were building a means of escape to "Utopia". With the help of the Doctor, they managed to do so, but only found darkness, and then they cannibalised themselves into this shape. This particular one was a young boy who worked in the sanctuary.

The Doctor: species: Time Lord, age: last confirmed to be 1103 (although he doesn't really know himself). Words cannot describe this man's life, but as for football, he's had "plenty" of experience, having played a match for the King's Arm Pub League Football team and scoring more than two hat-tricks in that single match (and now World Cups 59 through 62 alongside Copa Rushmoris and Cups of Harmony). Plays mainly up front.

Captain Jack Harkness: species: unknown (very humanoid though); Jack grew up on the Boeshane Peninsula as a kid and joined the Time Agency, but quit after a few years, becoming a con man with a Vortex Manipulator (basic time travel). After meeting the Doctor during the Blitz, Jack dies on Satellite 5 in the year 200,000, but is then brought back to life by the Time Vortex, effectively becoming immortal.

Rory the Plastic Centurion: species: Auton, created by the Nestene Consciousness; refer to as Rory; Dressed up in full Roman armour, Rory has had a miserable past, one that has included being killed, followed shortly after by not being born, followed by becoming a plastic duplicate with a full human consciousness. However, he is rather hardened by all this, and also has a gun in his right hand which he won't use, but will still throw himself into anything nothing less than fully committed.

Raston Warrior Robot: species: None, it is a machine; This robot has been called 'the most perfect killing machine ever devised', being able to move faster than lightning and to kill a troop of Cybermen in seconds. Its face is featureless, and its weapons are collapsible and miniaturizable, and so concealed. For the purposes of this campaign, its weapons have been remotely disarmed, but it still moves faster than normal humans can see.

Pyrovile: species Pyrovile; A humanoid being made of pure magma and volcanic rock, Pyroviles are vicious (albeit quite slow), not to mention being about 5 times the height of average humans when fully grown. Pyroviles originated from the planet Pyrovilia, but crash landed on Earth after their home was lost. They grew in the bowels of Mount Vesuvius, giving some of the locals the power of soothsaying. They planned to convert the entire human race to Pyroviles, and in turn create a new Pyrovilia. As a consequence of his magma nature, all match balls will be lined with lead to prevent them from bursting.

Jenny: species: Human/Time Lord hybrid; The Doctor was taken by the TARDIS to Messaline, where a war was raging between humans and fish-like humanoids called Hath. The Doctor then had his hand put into a progenation machine, used to produce clones for the war, and out came Jenny. She was later on killed by a commander who refused to accept the ceasefire, but then came back to life, having died in the presence of a terraforming device. She was last seen blasting off in the rocket, looking for adventure, and now she's here.

Modified Weeping Angel: species: Weeping Angel; modifications: only becomes a statue when opposition player with the ball is looking at it; No information known as of yet.

Professor Lazarus: Species: Severely mutated human (completely not humanoid at times), refer to as Lazarus; Professor Lazarus was eighty-odd years old, but invented a machine which could manipulate a person's DNA and make them younger. The first demonstration nearly catastrophically fails, but Lazarus emerges much younger. However, his DNA was since found to be unstable, and it showed when Lazarus changed into a scorpion-like creature that drained the life energy of other humans in order to keep him young.

Dalek Sec: Species: Human Dalek (Dalek that has taken on a humanoid form); After the Battle of Canary Wharf, the Cult of Skaro, now armed with the knowledge that they were the last Daleks in existence, escaped to 1930's New York, where they planned to recreate themselves in a humanoid form, by merging symbiotically with kidnapped humans deemed to be of superior intelligence. The leader of the cult, Dalek Sec, was the first to do so, merging with the businessman behind the building of the Empire State Building to form a Human Dalek. The remaining pure Daleks stopped the program upon seeing a Sec having emotions.

Silent: species: The Silence; The Silence is a religious order that believes that Silence will fall when the first question, the oldest question in the universe, is put to the Doctor, on the fields of Trenzelor, where no living creature can speak falsely or fail to answer. They attempted to bring down the Doctor through an abducted part Time Lord child (no relation to the Doctor), and kill him in a still point, thus creating a fixed point. But they failed.

Captain Tybo: Species: Judoon; refer to as Tybo; Is a Juddoon captain who crashed on Earth whilst transporting the Juddoon's most wanted criminal, Androvax the Destroyer, wanted for 12 counts of planetary destruction.

Vashta Nerada swarm: species: Vashta Nerada; The are microscopic organisms, which when swarming are completely indistinguishable from shadows, and being highly carnivorous, this plays into their hands. These Vashta Nerada number about 3,000,000, but are compacted into a humanoid form, for fairness. After a Kinitar player had his leg chewed off, the vashta nerada that played in that cup have been swapped for a vegetarian and pescetarian swarm (so fish people/giant vegetables beware).

Home stadium: Lodger City Memorial Stadium (cap. 150,000)
The national stadium of Eastfield Lodge since it was built not too long ago, it was built on the ruins of the old Lodger City, the former capital of Eastfield Lodge which was completely devastated by a nuclear disaster and floods within minutes of each other. It stands as a symbol of a new life, now even more prevalent after a horrible civil war and what not. But the new city has now become the footballing capital of Eastfield Lodge after some of the biggest teams moved in after Dillvill declared independence.

Because I can't be bothered to make a factbook, information about Eastfield Lodge can be found here, although some of it will be out of date. Including the facts that Dillvill declared independence and went back to normal reality, as did half the country's empire. And the fact that the only link to us is a small island somewhere in the northeastern part of Rushmore. Any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Eura: World Cup 66 Pre-Qualifying Friendlies and Qualifying Squad

Manager: Kelly Sporadic (Audioslava), 60 years old

Kelly Sporadic first rose to stardom as a young playmaker for the Silexhera national football side, back in the qualifiers for World Cup 46, and quickly made his name as a star player for XXV de Maio in Cafundeu, where he would spend most of his career. He retired after helping Silexhera qualify for their first and only World Cup finals in cycle 48.

Kelly became manager of the Audioslavia national team for the World Cup 59 cycle, aged just forty-four thanks to the slower Cafunduese time compared to that of Audioslavia, and with a modest history of management and coaching in Cafunduese club football. His first four months brought a level of success that utterly flabbergasted his employers, reaching the final of AOCAF 34 with a bare-bones team of amateurs, including his half-Cafunduese, half-Silexheran son Weverton, who qualified for the Audioslavia national team through means unknown. He followed the AOCAF 34 final with victory in the Baptism of Fire, but could only lead the Bulls to a modest 3-3-6 record in qualifying for WC59, finishing a disappointing 6th from 7 teams, following that with a first-round exit in the Cup of Harmony.

Kelly bounced back for cycle 60, and lead a rejuvinated Audioslavia team to AOCAF 35, where they went one better than their previous foray in the tournament and emerged victorious, beating Andossa se Mitrin Vega 2-0 in the final. World Cup 60 qualifying would prove to be another steep learning curve, as the Bulls finished mid-table in their group, but the side would record their best Cup of Harmony run later on, reaching the semi-finals before falling to Taeshan.

Kelly had lead a fledgling, mostly amateur Audioslavia to two championships, a final and a semi-final in his first two cycles in charge of Audioslavia - a fantastic feat - but things would begin to turn sour for the Silexheran in cycle 61.

The Bulls failed to get out of the group in AOCAF 36, failed to improve on their previous performance in World Cup qualifying, and were all-but ousted from the Cup of Harmony after a heavy defeat to Kinitaria and a subsequent draw at Sargossa. The Audioslavian media, always quick to jump on NT managers, jumped on Kelly, and the Silexheran decided to call it quits before the final game of the tournament, thanking the supporters, players and FFA for ten eventful years as manager.

Kelly became manager of Audioslavia's former BoF rivals Licentiapacisterra for cycle 62, finding immediate success with a championship in the form of the Campionato Esportiva. Kelly then did with the cyan what he couldn't do for the Bulls - take them to the World Cup finals, qualifying via a playoff. The side amassed a paltry point in the finals, but the side would take heart from their position at the top table of world football, and had high hopes to retain their CE title but, in a battle between two former-champions, lost out in the first round to the awesomely named - if modestly talented - THRILLEDGE.

From here, like in Audioslavia, things would turn a little sour. The cyan struggled in their WC63 qualifying group, finally finishing second before entering into, and losing, a playoff with eventual runners-up Starblaydia. The Licentiapacisterran FA decided they'd seen enough of the Audioslavian as NT boss, and announced his contract would not be renewed after the next Campionato Esportiva.

Now 60, Kelly tends to play a solid, defensive style of play focused on technique and maintaining possession, no doubt moulded that way after years of having to get a bunch of amateur Audioslavians to avoid humiliatingly large defeats. His 4-5-1 formation he used at Audioslavia has been retained by the claret and green and used to great effect in the WC championship winning cycle, while Kelly's own interpretation of the system, at Licen, has morphed into a more fluid 4-1-4-1.

He signed on as Euran national team manager with a three year contract to the great surprise of commentators after the Copa Rushmori that preceded the qualifying stages of the 64th World Cup, when Eura were 13th in the world and attempting to regain the sort of form that propelled them to the final of the 60th World Cup. Three years senior of the man he replaces, Ben Randall, Sporadic has to prove now that he can work his magic again with a team that plays a free flowing, attractive style that he would appreciate – but with a higher tempo and a more attacking nature. Perhaps his biggest problem will be tightening up the defence.

After one contract renewal, two World Cup campaigns and a Copa Rushmori tournament, Kelly Sporadic is sitting in a fairly secure position as Eura manager. World Cup 64 qualifying was an underwhelming debut for Sporadic and Kallstrom as they got used to the system, before an embarrassing finals performance saw them out at the group stage after failing to win a single game. But Sporadic rung some changes before the World Cup 65 campaign and this qualifying campaign went better, recovering from a shaky start to give Eura the second best record in qualifying of any team that year.

His side recovered from a disappointing performance against Mytannion in the opening game of the finals to record a legendary victory over Audioslavia, a notable personal victory for Sporadic that possibly saved his job, before another win over the Licentian Isles. Eura went out in the round of sixteen, but only after the Holy Empire parked the bus to earn a 0-0 draw and win on penalties. Poor results followed in Eura’s long awaited return from exile in the Copa Rushmori and in Olympic football, but progress is being made and only a failure to qualify put Sporadic’s position in jeopardy. In his four years as boss, he has built a big rapport with not only the team but the Euran fans and people, who almost treat him like one of their own – a surrogate for Ben Randall. Only time will tell how long that love can last.

(Credit to Audioslava for writing up most of this biography.)

Assistant: Johannes Kallstrom (Polar Islandstates), 47 years old

Signing his contract on the same day as Sporadic, also for three years, Kallstrom is the latest Polarian import to Euran football, reflecting the close admiration by Eurans of their hardy island nature and going the other way an admiration of a culture where football is deeply ingrained as a passion rather than a sport. He will be working in close conjunction with his subordinate and Head Coach, Louis Watson. Kallstrom’s role is important covering for Sporadic on occasion and playing perhaps a more pivotal role than most assistant managers do in relation to their main men. Much like in his time assistant managing the Terns, he has a big say in selection, tactical chemistry, discipline, maintaining extremely high fitness levels and a superb ability to judge the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition. He has a lot to live up to in emulating the recently resigned Dimitri Campbell, who was as respected as his boss Randall in his time helping Eura emerge on the footballing scene. No pressure then.

Head Coach: Louis Watson (Eura), 46 years old

Watson has been on the coaching staff for over a decade, and plays a key role in squad selection and maintaining discipline. He has been approached by top foreign clubs for vacant manager positions several times, yet he continues to act as Sporadic’s enforcer and motivator.

The World Cup of Soccer starts again! Seven million people all over HorusLand, along with billions from around the world, will be watching 182 nations battle for the title of world champions. After the Baptism of Fire ended with Welsh Cowboy's win over The Paradystopi Lymryk Isles, 3-1, the start of the World Cup was announced. The qualification phase will begin on the 17th of September, and will end ten days later.

HorusLand has advanced fifty-six places in the global rankings since the last World Cup. Our chance to win has come again, and our odds are getting better. We are placed third in our group which, unlike last time, has only six teams.
Our first game will be against Kinitaria, ranked 36th.

Home Stadium

Cahó Amijuu Caf
Capacity: The same as the people willing to sit on grass, if there's any at all

The Cahó Amijuu Caf (Translated to english as The Worst Field Ever) is home to football team Gualiche, renowned for getting thrashed all the time and almost never getting a tie, let alone a win. The field excels for how horrible its grass is, how many puddles of water and blood there are, the cannibal tribe that frequents it and for its goals, which both lack nets. This legendary pitch was the first to be banned by the ACL, for two matches. When an association full of violent indigenous people bans your pitch, there's something happening there. It's also remarkable for how it's in the middle of the nothingness... almost literally. Look at this map, see the island where Angurzijá is? See the highest point? Well, there, there's a big depression with an area of 1 kmx1km that is as low as sea level, it's called "the nothingness". There's where this stadium is located. It can get really dark there, but Gualiche's president says "It just proves more of a challenge, who needs light afterall? It's just spilled blood from the devil itself!". Despite this being completely unfounded, truth is it's extremely cold and dark down there. Referees have recently been permitted to carry lanterns, to at least see when the game ends and they get to leave the hellhole that Cahó Amijuu Caf is. To get there, you must do so by foot, too, getting to the top of a 10,000m mountain is quite difficult and tiring before a final, but it only makes you stronger, specially considering its slope. This, obviously, considering you survive the many tribes and the horrible weather. People are known to disappear there for a reason. After you get there, you have to climb your way down to the pitch. After the match is finished, considering you're still alive, you'll have to repeat all the process but the other way around. Yeah, you'll have to climb all the way up and go all the way down the mountain. The good thing is that those who survive get best-seller books about them afterwards.

The Iturributa National Football Team
Known as Albatroseka, "the Albatrosses"

Style: +1
Colours: Black and white hooped shirt with black shorts and socks for home; away shirt paired with sea grey shorts and socks. Generously provided by Kirola of Audioslavia.

Image

Manager - Image Eneko Dicharry
Bayardo Morriyas had some good results with Iturributa, but his shortcomings were many and the humiliating 8th-place finish in the WC65 qualifiers signalled the end of his cycle. Eneko Dicharry, one of the few men to have played for both United and Sporting and lived to tell the tale, will be his replacement. Highly rated during his time as manager of Sporting, with whom he won 3 Premier Division titles, many fear that his bias will shine through, but the FIF reckon he is mature enough to do only what is best for the national team. This first call-up would seem to confirm that, displaying a healthy variety of talent as Iturributa seek to climb to a more dignified place in the world rankings, if not qualify.

Starting XI:

#1 - GK – Agoztar Ilarduya - Age 25 - Image Sporting Iturributa - 23 caps, 37 goals against, 2 clean sheets
A highly capable keeper who excels at organising his defense and reading the flow of play, coming off his line at just the right time to catch the through-pass or close down the striker one-on-one. His aerial game needs work however, nor is the calmest of individuals, but he has had exposure at the highest level for some time now and should be expected to hold up against the best.

#3 - LB – Arabante Kelay - Age 28 – Image Ituraitz FC - 49 caps, 2 goals
Kelay isn't one of Ituraitz FC's standout players but nonetheless makes himself felt at one of Astograth's most successful and competitive clubs, with many honours to his name and continued appearances. He has guts and excellent ball control, though lacking speed he will try to rid himself of the ball rather than dribble into the midfield and beyond.

#4 - CB - Elatzar Lakoste - Age 30 - Image Iturributa United - 43 caps, 2 goals
The heart of United's defence, Lakoste can hold his own against anyone, as frequent UICA play and national team appearances have demonstrated. He has heart and a level head, which is crucial considering his partner Aluztiza plays for bitter rivals Sporting. Chosen to start by Dicharry is quite the feat in itself, considering Sporting is well-known for its impenetrable defense.

#5 - CB – Mikel Aluztiza - Age 31 – Image Sporting Iturributa - 64 caps, 2 goals
One of the Sporting's standout players since he came straight out of the academy, Chevrons captain Aluztiza has all the makings of a Sporting-brand defender: a smart, tactical mind, good feet, discipline and iron will. Technically very good, and having been tested against some of the best at both club and international level, can be said to be a top centre-back. Has formed a bond of trust and respect with Lakoste, setting aside domestic rivalries for the good of Albatroseka.

#12 - RB – Ixona Zarrasbeitia (C) - Age 32 - Image Athletic Club Rumiatzi - 97 caps, 5 goals
Iturributa's captain and most capped player of all time, only three appearances away from becoming the first "centenarian", has been forced out of Sporting Iturributa and found greener pastures in Astograth; he remains of vital importance to the national team due to his experience and wise counsel on and off the pitch, and his resilience, tracking and marking tirelessly and effectively. He isn't an attacking presence, but can deliver good long balls to start off plays.

#15 - DM – Tzemeno Baxterrika - Age 32 - Image Gortz United - 34 caps, 2 goals
A talented ball-playing defensive midfielder, Baxterrika had a notable spell at Sporting in the company of Artur Rochemback and has been a crucial element in Gortz United's eye-catching performances of late. Was handed the reins of the midfield after Agoztar Gorstiaga's retirement from the international stage, but struggled to fit in with Morriyas' tactics. His connection with Echazarreta should now give the national team a solid backbone.

#7 - LM – Zeledon Urralburu - Age 27 – Image Echegoyan FC - 17 caps, 2 goals
With successful spells at both Iturributa United and Echegoyan FC, Urralburu could rightly put in a claim to being the best active Iturributan - though he'll find stiff competition in Belaustigetigoitia and Echazarreta. Quick of feet and mind, with an eye for goal as much as the pass, he is ready to make up for time lost due to injuries in the last qualifying run.

#16 - RM - Altzibar Salutregi - Age 31 - Image SC Montfort - 57 caps, 7 goals
Tempered by long years in the Licentian league, Salutregi remains in contact with his Iturributan teammates and continues to perform at a high level for club and country. He remains explosive at 31, with a natural talent for the unexpected, which is exactly what Dicharry expects from him as he makes his way up the wing.

#10 - AM - Goren Echazarreta - Age 25 - Image Royal Rumiatzi - 18 caps, 1 goal
He made headlines by becoming the first Iturributan national team player to be signed by Royal Rumiatzi; the Knights hardly care about anything other than winning so he was welcomed into the team, by his teammates if not by the fans. The fact is, his masterfully crafted assists kept Independent Garitzeta standing for the longest time, and there is no other Iturributan who can match him at directing the attack.

#11 - CF - Yeremi Belaustigetigoitia - Age 26 - Image Echegoyan FC - 53 caps, 18 goals
Iturributa's star player, Yeremi Belaustigetigoitia is not just a conundrum for the kit man but one of the most exciting men to watch in the Astograthian First Division - which isn't peanuts considering the quality on display. Fast, clever, good with his head and feet; a complete forward that boasts undisputed status at club and country level, determined to improve upon Isasmendi and Boneta's joint record of 33 goals for Albatroseka.

#9 - CF – Urtatz Gaubeka - Age 29 - Image Freedom FC - 32 caps, 8 goals
Strong and with an acute sense of opportunism, Gaubeka is an expert at receiving the ball in the box, shaking off one, two, maybe three defenders and firing into the net. He didn't have the most chances under Morriyas, but Dicharry has faith that he'll bring his club form - where he is Freedom FC's best player by a very long shot - to the international level.

Substitutes:

#13 - GK - Yon Alkezar - Age 29 - Image Iturributa Racing Club - 8 caps, 20 goals against, 1 clean sheet
#23 - GK – Yasone Baracho - Age 21 - Image Sporting Iturributa - Uncapped
Alkezar has plenty of domestic and UICA experience to his name but has suffered bad luck when made to play for Iturributa, while Baracho is as yet untested at the highest level, though Sporting's record of breeding good goalkeepers certainly counted for something in Dicharry's assesment.

#2 - LB - Berdoi Falkes - Age 27 - Image Sporting Iturributa - Uncapped
#19 - CB - Adame Ordozkoiti - Age 31 - Image Oyardo FC - 14 caps, 1 goal
#14 - CB - Edur Maskiaran - Age 27 - Image Iturributa United - 38 caps, 1 goal
#22 - RB – Izaskun Uzkeda - Age 22 - Image Ituraitz FC - Uncapped
Falkes has been called up to replace the aging Salbarrei as backup to Kelay, and could take a starting position if he proves himself capable of handling the rigours of international football, having solidified himself as Sporting's left-back. Ordozkoiti and Maskiaran are both fearsome centre-backs and just about equals to Lakoste and Maskiaran, which could see some moving around; Uzkeda is untried and lacking playing time at Ituraitz FC, but is bursting with talent.

#6 - DM – Bayardo Eskostegi - Age 26 - Image Ituraitz Victory - 10 caps, 1 goal
#21 - LM – Yaizki Landa - Age 27 – Image Echegoyan FC - 14 caps, 2 goals
#20 - RM - Andima Etchaleku - Age 24 - Image Iturributa United - Uncapped
#8 - AM - Ibon Galdo - Age 21 - Image Athletic Club Olarria - 8 caps
The midfielders are a diverse bunch. Eskostegi is not exactly top quality, but there is a lack of good defensive midfielders beyond Baxterrika, with even the best plying their trade in the lower rungs of Astograthian football - and Eskostegi acclimated himself adequately during the World Cup 65 qualifiers. Landa, meanwhile, earned himself a transfer to Echegoyan FC due to subbing for an injured Urralburu in the last qualifiers rather than his largely poor spell at Lermendia FC, and could yet take another step out of the shadows. Etchaleku is skilled but as yet uncapped, whereas Galos is heralded as the next big thing in Iturributan football due to his good showings with Athletic Club Olarria, of whom he is the undisputed playmaker.

#17 - CF - Barea Ukariz - Age 27 - Image Sporting Iturributa - 13 caps, 1 goal
#18 - CF – Baladi Behelaborde - Age 23 - Image Ituraitz Victory - Uncapped
Perhaps the weakest aspect of the squad, Iturributa's substitute forwards are not nearly as good as either Belaustigetigoitia or Gaubeka. Ukariz should look to improve his absolutely dismal scoring record with the national team, where a lack of a selfless partner in Oxel Nuin hinders him considerably, while Behelaborde will seek to début and make himself known following a solid but not outstanding first season at the troubled Ituraitz Victory.

Captain: Ixona Zarrasbeitia
Free Kick Taker: Goren Echazarreta
Penalty Taker: Altzibar Salutregi
Right Corner: Zeledon Urralburu
Left Corner: Goren Echazarreta

STADIUM
Image
All of the Free Republic's home matches will be played at the 72,000-seater Old City Stadium in Iturributa's eponymous capital city. The stadium is large, lively and full of tradition, serving as the home ground of both Iturributa United and Sporting Iturributa; the expectation to see the national team play is enormous, so oversold games shouldn't come as a surprise.

YES to all RP permissions, barring any career-ending incidents. If you have any questions about anything, please do TG this nation or Astograth.

Svenga Squad for the 66th WC

The Coach: -VACANT- Style Mod: N/A

See the RP thread for explanation (Note: RP up after this post)

Assistant Coach: Kuri Levallånen (40 years old)

He comes into the side in rather unfortunate circumstances. Former Assistant Coach Röben Eriksson, former soldier, has retired from coaching due to the injuries he sustained whilst fighting got worse. Kuri was coach of Stormskamer IGK before taking the assistant coaching role, and had taken them to a Supercup victory three years ago. Despite his young years, he has plenty of experience and is always has a calm voice to give to the often on edge Andfossen.

Squad

Goalkeepers

Pal Lorsen (29 caps - 0 goals - 31 y/o - FCK Lupa)

Pal has been the mainstay in the Svenga side since WC64, when regular Toms Holt broke his finger and never recovered his legendary goalkeeping skills. He is 6ft 3" and is imposing in the goal, which make him a penalty expert. He likes making saves, and has a hollywood flair about the saves he makes. He is known for his big right foot, and can kick from one area to the other and watch out for him in the opposition box in the final minutes...

Dagfinn Simoneit (4 caps - 0 goals - 34 y/o - Stormskamer IGK)

Permanent reserve to Lorson, Dagfinn has had to spend insufferable hours on the bench as Lorsen didn't get injured very much. He is ageing,and this will probably be his last tournament. Has kept for seven years in Stormskamer and is a reliable choice for the team. He is strong behind the ball and can make good saves. His bravery in the box is second to none, and he will charge out to meet a corner in a crowded box or drop at the feet of a charging striker to smother the ball.

Vanja Albertsen (0 caps - 0 goals - 20 y/o - PPMPA Korska)

A new talent rising up through the ranks of the domestic league, Vanja stands at a staggering 6ft 10", and has the natural build for a goalkeeper. Although he might not be fully ready for the big occasion of the World Cup, he is certainly a talent to watch out for in the future.

Defenders

Tommi Nikula (0 caps - 0 goals - 22 y/o - Helsirn CSKA)

One of the several new young players in the squad, Nikula is regarded as the natural successor to Strostrand. A talented wing back as well as a dominant defender in the box and around. Possessing incredible power and extreme acceleration and having the ability to lay killer crosses, Tommi is always the one to spark a counter-attack.

Reko Saari (12 caps - 0 goals - 33 y/o - PPMPA Korska)

One of the ageing stalwarts in the squad Saari is a big man who creates a big presence in the centre of defence. Saari, despite being one of the elder players, he still has a youthful energy about him. He can also be a threat down the other end of the pitch when it comes to corners and crosses.

Georg Raske (35 caps - 0 goals - 31 y/o - GKS Erem) CAPTAIN

Georg has gone from fringe player in earlier World Cup's to team captain, rather surprisingly, in this edition of the competition. Andfossen announced this shortly before the rest of squad annoucement, much to the surprise of the press and just about every fan in the country. After Strostrand had retired, winger Rihards Ruotsalainen was made favourite to be made captain, with Raske at 250/1. Raske is a brick wall in defence, not known for his pace, but able to shut down any play from any number of attacking players.

Saar Bjørnsen (7 caps - 0 goals - 27 y/o - FCK Lupa)

Bjørnsen long has been tipped to be the new Torbjorn Lindstørm, who led the side to their Baptism of Fire victory. He is bigger than his predecessor, standing at 6ft 4" inches, he is not someone you want to run into at speed. We've seen him in two World Cups, and he hasn't quite fulfilled his huge expectations. He has played one or two blinders, but otherwise he has been average. The fans are expecting big things from this man.

Luka Jarvinen (27 caps - 0 goals - 27 y/o - GKS Erem)

He moves with incredible pace when chasing down opposition attackers, and is always in the right place to block a shot or make that last ditch tackle which he has done plenty of times in the past. Good friends with both Raske and Levallånen, they like to joke around and the occasionally don't take the game entirely seriously.

Mikkel Strand (19 caps - 1 goals - 27 y/o - PPMPA Korska)

He's spent a lot of time warming the bench, wrapped up in the numerous layers of SFA-supplied kit, but this might be his breakthrough, with some very talented performances in the domestic game. When he has played, for just 8 games in various friendlies, he has shown an adept ability to use the ball from deep and create situations from defence. If he perhaps gets a bit more game time, he could develop his skills and become a real talent, perhaps playing in Defensive midfield or even Midfield.

Vilmar Naess (30 caps - 3 goals - 29 y/o - Helsirn CSKA)

A regular starter under Andfossen, the coach seems to enjoy his free-fleeing ability. He prefers playing as a wing back, and even has international goals to his name. Along with his pace and ball skills, he can deliver heavy tackles and is very strong on his feet, so is hard to knock over in a challenge. Charismatic and clever, he can often annoy slower-minded players with his remarks, which get him into all kinds of scrapes...

Midfielders

Hakan Lager (29 caps - 1 goals - 29 y/o - Stormskamer IGK)

A youthful and dynamic footballer, Hakan is powerful on both the wing and in and around the area. He has been second place to Jazēps Vang in recent times, and it looks to continue like that as Vang has put in some particularly good performances over the last few months. But nevertheless he has everything a good winger needs: pace, power and good passing ability.

Aatu Jokela (0 caps - 0 goals - 20 y/o - Stormskamer IGK)

Another product of the Stormskamer youth system, Aatu is your typical defensive midfielder, hard hitting tackler and great at spying the long balls required to beat the offside trap and release the forwards. Endless energy and stamina mean that he can cover every square inch of the pitch, make a tackle then track back, before running forward with the counter-attack.

Loreen Steffanssen (0 caps - 0 goals - 19 y/o - Rasmussen SK)

Although Women have always been accepted into the men's national side, the appearance of the two Steffansson's (Kari and Loreen, unrelated) is the first occurrence of this. A perfectly all-round footballer, she is considered to be a lot better than her male counter-parts. Height, strength, a good touch and pace are just some of her many assets which make her a great footballer. Young, still only 19, experience might be her only weakness.

Timo Laathi (14 caps - 0 goals - 24 y/o - West Skal City SK)

Former captain of the U21s, Timo is one of the few players who make the leap from U21 regular to first team regular. No one is sure why there aren't more. Timo is a good roving midfielder, who can operate both in a central role or as a winger or attacking midfielder, but can also drop back and defend like a centre back or a sweeper would. Good close control and excellent footwork make him troublemaker for opposition defences, and also has a good close range shooting ability.

Torleif Olhauser (46 caps - 1 goals - 34 y/o - Helsirn CSKA)

The face of the Svenga football team's campaign, there is massive expectation on both him and the team. Tor, as he's known, is the heart of the team, dictating everything from his perch in the centre of the pitch. He doesn't like to go forward, and will hang back during most attacking set-plays. He has eagle-like vision and is known for his perfect passing and his ability to find space and find it for other players.

Jazēps Vang (31 caps - 5 goals - 26 y/o - DGNC Helsingborg)

A versatile midfield player, he likes to experiment with the ball, and will often try outrageous tricks, just to see if they work. When on form, he is unstoppable, every trick seeming to come off and every reverse-spinning-backheel finding its target. Combine this ingenuity with proper winger's pace always make him a joy to watch for any football fan.

Rihards Ruotsalainen (35 caps - 11 goals - 35 y/o - PPMPA Korska)

Arguably Svengarda's most successful player, his skill (and a certain journalist) warranted him a place in the World XI (although one lacking several top teams), although as a substitute. He is ageing somewhat, and although he is still just as talented, his time might nearly be up. Raw pace and good footwork make him a first-choice winger for any side, and 5 goals show off his goal scoring ability from around the area. He has been in rampant form for his domestic club PPMPA Korska as well, which is a good sign.

Strikers

Truls Waaserson (47 caps - 27 goals - 31 y/o - Morata Valley (Vilita)

Svengarda's goal factory, and main source of goals for the entire Andfossen regime. A superb first and final touch make Truls deadly as soon as he picks up the ball in the area. He works a lot off his team, taking crosses from the wingers and through-balls from midfielders, and works well by himself or with fellow strikers. In this case, he will be working in front of Svein Danielsen/Kari Steffansson as the sole striker.

Svein Danielsen (34 caps - 13 goals - 29 y/o - Ferdullaele FC (Farfadillis)

A striker on the same par as Truls Waaserson when it comes to goal scoring ability, but Svein has had to live most of his footballing life in the attacking-midfield role, and that's where he'll play for this WC. Good speed and strength make him ideal for this role, as well as the skill of placing a pass, which is key for playing a single striker. Making a name for himself overseas in Farfadillis, scoring more goals of Ferdullaele FC than the legendary Val Kylx.

Serko Jansen (4 caps - 1 goals - 24 y/o - FCK Lupa)

Serko has gained his place on the merit of his domestic performances for FCK Lupa. His appearance in the side is much to the distaste of the player he replaced; Boghos Danielsen. Serko doesn't expect much play, but when he does, he adds an element of the sublime to his play, and has a habit for scoring some quite brilliant goals, from 25-yard screamers to deft chips.

Kari Steffansson (0 caps - 0 goals - 19 y/o - DGNC Helsingborg)

(The base of my RPs)

The second of the Steffansson's (again, not related) in the squad, Kari is a small and nimble winger/attacking midfielder, using her surging pace and lightning quick feet to create trouble for any defence. Her ability to get into small spaces in the box always makes her a nuisance to opposition.

Mytanar National Team.

Image

Manager - Marius Sadowsky - 53 - Mytannion.
Sadowsky is one of the most successful Mytanar managers, he has won a Cup of Harmony with the national side, the most important success the nation has ever had in football. He took the team to the Round of Sixteen in the last World Cup, with a highly successful qualifying run and an excellent showing in the Group Stage of the World Cup proper. Sadowsky's heralded the change from efficient, counter-attacking football to a more offensive style where the team presses across the pitch and moves the ball forward quickly when it is in their possession. It results in moves which the opposition cannot deal with as the ball is just moved at such speed that defenders do not have time to position themselves properly to prevent goals/clear-cut chances. Sadowsky is fairly astute tactically and does work well with what he has got, given the Hoops' good seeding this year and a decent qualifying group, could it finally be the chance for something more than a place in the Round of Sixteen?

Starting XI.
#1 - GK - Stefan Wallinaar - 26 - Liria Prizren - 2 caps.
With the lack of an experienced goalkeeper following the retirement from international football of Demy de Zooijt, Stefan Wallinaar is the nearest to an experienced goalkeeper that the national team has. Kondrat Istomin has a bit more experience but he isn't considered a top bracket goalkeeper anymore, with both his age (which is perhaps irrelevant when it comes to goalkeepers), and his performances for his domestic side calling his position within the national team set-up into question, especially with some good goalkeepers coming through. Wallinaar is a two-time Globe Cup winner with club side Liria Prizren and his acrobatic performances between the sticks for them have finally earned him the starting gig here.

#2 - DL - Lev Repin - 32 - FC Ararat Severyan - 109 caps, 8 goals - Captain.
One of the most reliable defenders you will ever meet, he doesn't make many mistakes and this is evidenced by the amount of appearances he has made for the international side and the enormous number he has made for his club team too. He's tough and no-nonsense, getting the job done and giving his all for the team. He has top fitness levels and still shows a desire to bomb on down the wing and provide another option going forward with his pinpoint crossing. He's always a danger from set pieces because of this ability, both when crossing and shooting. He's still keeping Rob Fridrich out of a place in the national side and he could do so until the end of the younger man's career, if he keeps going at the rate he is doing.

#3 - DC - Narek Berozhserkovsky - 27 - Dinamo Esca - 57 caps, 4 goals.
Berozhserkovsky has to be considered one of the better centre backs in the world right now, in the prime of his career and still improving on his top class performances that have been made consistently for years. Questions surrounding a possible move away from Dinamo have been cooled dramatically recently although there is always the rumour in the air that he may fancy a move to the Polar Islandstates. He certainly has the ability to ply his trade outside the Mytanar Top League, his physical attributes combining well with exceptional tactical awareness, aerial ability and tackling. Could be given the captain's armband once Repin retires.

#4 - DC - Tim Dalgaard - 24 - Arka Snezhnaya - 6 caps.
Dalgaard has developed brilliantly over the years. He's now one of the top players in Mytannion and therefore the world too and he will combine beautifully with Narek Berozhserkovsky in the national team set-up to make a top class defensive partnership that any national team will find difficult to breakdown. Dalgaard is a tall centre back, again showing top level tactical awareness and good anticipation so he can read the game and work out where the ball will be. He breaks the play up and is one of the new breed of ball-playing centre backs, his passing is good and he can set-up play right from the back, often playing diagonal balls to the wing players in order to get the ball forward quickly, working well with the tactic employed by this side.

#5 - DR - Dennis Adkvissen - 31 - SK Aasiaat Harbour (Polar Islandstates) - 122 caps, 3 goals.
Already a legend in terms of Mytanar football and he still has a good couple of World Cups in him, he could easily surpass the record total for national team appearances set by the legendary Robin Hjik. Adkvissen is a good defensively. He deals with any attacking threat from the opponent quite solidly, his tackling is good and he uses his pace to good effect to keep up with quick wingers. He doesn't offer too much going forwards - though his crosses from deep are effective and he's decent from set pieces too - his footballing intelligence is one of the best and he anticipates the play well. His physical attributes are good too, being tall and strong.

#6 - DMC - Thorvar Prijholm - 26 - FC Deska (United Gordonopia) - 40 caps, 4 goals.
Prijholm has overtaken Tikhon Voronin for the starting role as the more defensive of the two central midfielders, his impressive performances for FC Deska driving them to a Champions' Cup final and firmly placing them in the upper echelons of world football. Prijholm is a tough tackling, dynamic midfielder and is better going forward than Voronin. His passing and creativity allowing him to contribute further up the field as well as in the breaking up of the play which is so crucial for the player who is employed in this position for the national team. It could be a big call by Marius Sadowsky to make the choice he has though, which way it goes will decide whether it is good or bad.

#7 - DMC - Dobroslav Stojanovic - 28 - Atletik Thessia - 102 caps, 30 goals.
Stojanovic has transitioned from a dynamic forward-thinking midfielder to an experienced, creative and most importantly, solid leader on the field. One of the strong contenders for the captaincy when Repin eventually hangs up his boots. He doesn't put a foot wrong in the centre of the park and keeps things ticking over, making all the right decisions and then when a chance presents itself - whether it be in providing an assist or scoring a goal - he is lethal and effective. Stojanovic is a top player and in the prime of his career, expect a big World Cup cycle from him and a few goals too. He's the more offensive of the pairing that shield the defence and will often be found almost alongside the attacking midfielder in the formation.

#8 - AML - Ismet van Huijgevoort - 27 - SK Franz Josef City (Polar Islandstates) - 84 caps, 26 goals.
Another player who went all the way to the Champions' Cup final this season - and van Huijgevoort was on the winning side too. His incisive dribbling makes him a huge weapon for the national side to have and that will mean he'll be massive in both providing opportunities for goals and scoring them. He's an extremely creative player and very forward thinking, he'll try and dribble through defences and will have a knack for moving inside rather than staying out on the wing. His finishing is top class and his passing is pinpoint accurate. He'll be a thorn in the side of defences throughout this campaign once again, as he has been for the past couple of World Cups.

#9 - AMC - Mikkel Kohlemainen - 21 - Arka Snezhnaya - 27 caps, 12 goals.
The nation's love affair continues, even those who hate Arka Snezhnaya (1896 Ebor fans spring to mind), love the starlet that they have shining bright within their squad. Kohlemainen is an excellent player as evidenced by him driving his club side to two straight Mytanar Top League titles and winning the Mytanar Player of the Year following his performances this year. He has an excellent eye for goals, is extremely pacy and always wants to be taking players on. His interplay with his team mates is what makes him most lethal however and when him, van Huijgevoort, Iivari Kaitanen and Kristian Haugen get going, it will be near unstoppable. Stop Kohlemainen, you could be stopping Mytannion.

#10 - AMR - Iivari Kaitanen - 25 - Urbizania Wanderers (Astograth) - 102 caps, 41 goals.
The poacher is moving out to the right-wing to utilise his speed and interplay. He'll play in an advance role though and will get involved with most of the attacks going down the left, which will allow him to drift inside and add another man in the box. He is a classic goal poacher though and he'll be extremely dangerous in that part of the game. His crossing should be useful too, he loves to hit a low cross and any good forward will take that. Kaitanen will roam a fair bit, moving inside and forward and will use his clinical finishing to the best of its ability when possible too. His speed will be crucial in counter attacks - where he will be most useful. His movement and good heading ability for a 5'9 forward will also be important.

#11 - ST - Kristian Haugen - 24 - Energia-Yaderny Miago - 19 caps, 8 goals.
Haugen is finally being given the chance to lead the line for himself. After 149 goals in 211 games for his club side, Energia-Yaderny Miago, the nation has finally decided to put its trust in Haugen with Sadowsky making the decision to let him take over from the sterling Eugeny Ivanov who had an excellent run with the national team. Haugen is a true complete forward and can score from anywhere, his aerial ability and finishing being equally clinical. He doesn't care how he scores either with a determination meaning he will bully defenders and storm past them with equal contempt. He's not an overly physical forward, but he can be. He can do it all and if he doesn't get over 10 goals this cycle, many will be surprised.

Substitutes.
#12 - GK - Dennis Rothstein - 21 - Arka Snezhnaya - Uncapped.
Rothstein is thrown into this role by virtue of having no top goalkeepers in the prime of their careers really. This has meant Wallinaar - who'd probably only be good enough for the bench if we had a top goalkeeper that was sub-35 years old - has got the starting job and Rothstein has been thrust onto the bench at a fairly young age for a national team goalkeeper. He could be a top talent in the future in between the sticks, but we'll have to wait for that.

#13 - DL - Rob Fridrich - 27 - Atletik Thessia - 26 caps, 2 goals.
He's a solid player who will offer a sturdy and reliable replacement. He's good going forward too, offering a more attacking option at the back if there is any transition needed. He's learnt a lot over the past four or so seasons and moved from a small club in Turbine Decraa to a big club in the form of Atletik where he was given a chance to fulfil his potential and he has done that. He'll be the eventual replacement to Lev Repin, we'd imagine although he should carry on for years. Fridrich is good defensively too and has definitely improved that side of his game.

#14 - DC - Benjamin Lautner - 21 - Energia-Yaderny Miago - Uncapped.
A big opportunity for the big, powerful central defender from Miago. He's big and hard and nasty and that is fairly commonplace among Mytanar defenders but Lautner is set apart by the fact that he can actually tackle without breaking somebody's leg. He's exceptional in the air and the youth system at Miago will have worked hard in ensuring his tactical awareness and reading of the game is up to scratch. He'll be getting regular substitute appearances in order to get him up to the world class level, but give him a couple of years (and the whole Energia-Yaderny Miago team, in fact), and he'll be right up there.

#15 - DMC - Tikhon Voronin - 28 - Liria Prizren - 106 caps, 6 goals.
How can you have someone this experienced on the bench? Good question, but Voronin is and he'll be hungry to get his starting position back. He's a more defensive option and therefore will come on fairly regularly late in games where Mytannion are ahead by a narrow margin and just need someone there to settle the nerves and break things up. He's a tough tackler and doesn't pull any punches, if he hurts the opposition he just puts it down to the physicality of the game that he plays. His passing is much improved too over the years and he now isn't as wasteful when he actually has the ball at his feet.

#16 - MC - Iuliu Zaplatic - 31 - Ulsa (Eura) - 45 caps, 5 goals.
He's only got this position back by virtue of some strong performances for Ulsa over in Eura. He's a box-to-box midfielder in the mould of Robin Hjik and he gets involved in everything. Many are disappointed he has actually taken this position back from the more creative flair player, Yuri Matveyev that has worked hard these past seasons to try and ensure he has a place in the team. Zaplatic had tough competition from a good five other players just for this position on the bench and he'll have to impress (it does help all them players are young as they'll get their chance in a couple of years and still be young enough to get their chance - which is what the Mytanar skeptics see this as, a chance for Zaplatic to break the 50-cap barrier and nothing more).

#17 - AML - Stanislav Navratil - 25 - Directus (Eura) - Uncapped.
His lack of caps may make him appear inexperienced but that doesn't show the amount of games he has played both in Mytannion and over in Eura with him still being relatively young. He's versatile too, being able to play on the wide left or right, or through the middle and even in a more withdrawn role. His passing is excellent, he gets involved in the assist charts regularly in the Euran league (which is admittedly not hard, given the relative lack of quality in that league, especially whilst defending), and chips in with a few goals too. Sadowsky will be hoping for both to be brought into this side.

#18 - ST - Ildar Patrelyak - 23 - Directus (Eura) - Uncapped.
The former Atletik player worked well with Marius Sadowsky when he was at the club, but couldn't work with Kislasson who came after him. His bad boy image within Mytanar football not suiting Kislasson's new vision for the club, but Directus of the FSSO were happy to snap him up and his relationship with fellow Mytanar Navratil has given him a new lease of life as his goalscoring record has continued on from where it left off for Atletik Thessia before he was forced out from die Stadtbewohner. He's a strong forward, quick and good at holding the ball up, but is often lazy. Has the ability to create a goal from nothing or get sent off. His mood usually is what it depends on. He does seem to be willing to give a bit more for the cause with the national team and if he teams up with club mate Navratil and former manager (and confidant), Sadowsky to good effect, he could be tough to play against.

Fans.

Photos to come.

The fans are renowned for being violent, hooliganism is a huge, huge problem in Mytannion and this continues when their fans follow the national team overseas. Fans will cause trouble and light up flares, set off fireworks and carry massive flags with them. The ultras scene is quite vibrant in Mytannion too, often the club team's fans will band together to create 2-3 impressive choreographies per qualifying campaign.

Monozygotia is the home of the Monozygotes. Identical twins. Through a manipulated genetic heritage, and some historic gene-pool management, the majority of citizens in Monozygotia are identical twins. About 65% of all people. 20% are Dizygotes, or non-identical twins; and 14% are singletons, or Odds, as we think of them. They are mostly the criminal underclasses, of course. The last 1% or so of the population are Polyzygotes - non identical multiple births in multiples of two, Polyodds - non identical multiples with an odd number of siblings, and under 0.1% of the 1% are Multimonozygotes - identical multiple births in multiples of two. The nation of Monozygotia has a caste system based on this genetic reproduction and the entire socio-economic culture reflects the primacy of duality. Monozygotic siblings work as one, in all aspects of life except procreation, which is regulated by a complex system of protocols, traditions and genetic licensing from the Office of Reproductive Affairs, ORA. Naming of Monozygotes is a state affair too, overseen by The Cultural Registry. Names of siblings must have recognised patterned similarities and as such will be chosen from a wide range of approved pairings. It is usual in Monozygotic every day life to refer to persons by their first names, and if referring to an individual (a quite uncommon occurrence) this will be done by identifying either 'the first' or 'the second of...' followed by the Monozygotic pair. The firstborn of a pair is always named first. Surnames are double or treble-barrelled and used more in formal settings, and then usually only once to identify family and origin. The first of the two surnames (or first two of three) will be the family name, passed down from generation to generation. The final part of the surname will be the place which the sibling was born in - usually the city or district, not small towns or villages but their area name.

As in all walks of life football in Monozygotia is characterised by twinculture, which is to say, more or less, "the way we do things around here". Pairs of siblings play pairs of positions. This obviously, from your Odd perspective, presents certain difficulties with the usual 11-a-side format. In Monozygotia, we play the game as 10-a-side. We do not have a fixed goalkeeper: in Monozygotic Football we practise the art of the rush goalie, that is to say, anyone of the 10 outfield players can be temporary goalkeeper simply by being there. This has evolved from the early 12-a-side Monozygotic form in which goals were much bigger and a Monozygotic pair would play as two fixed goalkeepers. 12-a-side is now only played as an exhibition sport. The small form of the game, Quorssal or Fútsal as you Odds might call it, features 6-a-side. To be compliant with NSWC and UICA codes of football, Monozygotia has had to embrace 11-a-side with one fixed goalkeeper, though this will only happen for international tournaments with the domestic game remaining in 10-and-rush form. It is an anathema for a single Monozygote to perform any function alone, therefore the controversial decision has been made to employ singletons, Odds, as goalkeepers. The goalkeeper, then, is a vital but dishonourable role in the multiversal form of the beautiful game, one which Monozygotia must bear for the sake of the World Cup Cycle. Our Glorious Leaders, Commanders Eztlawal and Eztlasal, have decreed forbearance on this matter by all Monozygotes. It is all for the Higher Paths. Football is played in single-sex leagues and for the World Cup the nation will be represented by the men of the game.

The MZ
World Cup Squad

Image
Surname: Kyrk-ElmesslyerodarAge: 53
The brothers Ksarkus & Ksanus have been appointed from their role as managers of high-flying domestic team Ruzm Umturtannysser, where they will continue to manage after their duties with the national team are complete. They bring with them several pairs of players who turn out for RU. They are considered introverts since they do not satisfy the media with lurid tabloid escapades or outrageous press conference statements, and live quiet private family lives with their twin wives Mindilsaya & Mindirrasda. Ksarkus & Ksanus will favour a wide 4-4-2 formation, in which the attacking impetus comes from the flanks and the central midfielders will drop back to support the defence.

Image
Surname: Whals-IairoldrodAge: 47
Appointed part-time from their role as highly-rated coaches at top-flight team Ashgartinghai-Duv, Yinus and Yinnai are famous playboys who have yet to settle down, and are the exact opposite of the conservative Ksarkus & Ksanus. Tipped for greatness as managers, they will need to calm down first. Some consider them a poor role model for the younger players in the team, and there is no doubt their lifestyle is of great public debate which may have prevented them from so far getting a top managerial appointment. In their playing career they experienced moderate success with A.-Duv, and prior to that with Volstur Torormquatia & Ruzm Ariaeromo: all good top flight clubs.

Image
Surname: Hosbine-EnvesessturrayAge: Unknown
The Scrutinisation Office, or SO, is part of the state security system, with a specific role to assist Monozygotes in making the right life choices in keeping with Monozygotic twinculture. Ghanix and Tsasix have been appointed to the football team travelling to United Gordonopia to make sure the Monozygotes are not overly exposed to the liberal and dangerous ways of the inherently Odd hosts, as well as all the Odd teams they will be meeting. It would not do for a Monozygote to fraternise with the Odd community, nor to believe everything they see and hear in an infamously unreliable Odd state like UG, where pro-singleton propaganda is rife and dangerously subtle.

Image
The less said about the filthy goalkeeping singletons, the better. It is not polite to mention their surnames unless absolutely necessary. Of the goalkeepers, Tzim is probably considered the best one and will likely start most games, unless he gets busted for stealing hotel property or something - you know what the Odds are like. Although, of course, these three unrelated Odds (a quite repulsive thought) are not permitted to stay with the team in the hotel and will be dossing at a nearby one-star B&B, under the watchful gaze of Officers Tzaj & Tzak of OXO (Office for Cross-Referencing the Odds).

Image
Surname: Bressale-HatthertherveressAge: 24Team: Ashgartinghai-Duv
Biqaq & Biqal, the first choice defenders for The MZ, are well known to coaches Yinus and Yinnai who have been responsible for much of their progress from youth teamers at A.-Duv to the top defenders in the country. Considered natural leaders, they have inherent motivational talents and will be among those to step up when the going gets tough. Big, brave, and good on the ball, any attacker will have a hard time getting past them.

Image
Surname: Thaldl-IssrayemkimrynAge: 18Team: Ruzm Umturtannysser
This is a pair for the future, according to the managers Ksarkus & Ksanus. The managers should know: this is one of the four pairings selected from their club side. They have done well to get a call-up for the national squad, though they are likely to feature little with Biqaq & Biqal ahead of them. Jolam & Jolal are exceptional athletes and may well be considered the fastest defenders in Monozygotia. They eat kilometres for breakfast in morning runs, kilos for lunch in the gym, and carbs for tea.

Image
Surname: Qud-AriaeromoAge: 30Team: Ruzm Ariaeromo
Among the seniors in the team, these one-club home-town heroes are famous grafters who may lack a little flair for the average full-back, but they work like trojans up and down the flanks and provide excellent cover and support for the wingers ahead of them. Ksarkus & Ksanus have already stated they will be the starting defenders out wide, suggesting they are going for workmanlike grit over glinting diamonds in this competition.

Image
Surname: Stryt-TorrodtanhatuAge: 23Team: Latth Osildelmeldu
They may play for the unfashionable Latth, but Azich & Ajilix are much admired young defenders who will surely one day turn out for one of the better teams in Monozygotia, with the national managers reportedly calling them up to trial them ahead of signing them for Ruzm Umturtannysser. They are famously brave, diving in fearlessly for every 50/50, and will not be happy if they don't come off the pitch at the end of the game with a good amount of blood - their own or the oppositions - down their shirts.

Image
Surname: Lumv-UntinauskomoAge: 25Team: Ruzm Umturtannysser
Another pair from the manager's club team, Izlende & Izlos will, along with strikers Etzlende & Azilende, probably be the stars of this team. The fact that they also play together in the league means they have a good understanding with the forwards already and will be hard to resist. The first choice wingers are also from RU, meaning the forward half of the team will have that experience together and should impress. Izlende & Izlos are extrovert characters, with plenty to say for themselves and certainly not afraid to showboat unnecessarily at times.

Image
Surname: Gasttina-EnvesessturrayAge: 22Team: Volstur Torormquatia
The back-up midfield pairing are a real pair of oddballs* from the famously eccentric Gasttina family of Envesessturray. Unpredictable but often brilliant in the midfield. More future stars.*Oddball is a poor translation: in Monozygotic, 'oddball' is a highly insulting term, usually only referred to as 'the O-word' because it is so inflammatory, what with it's connection to the dirty criminal singletons.

Image
Surname: Quydl-EthontasmosAge: 19Team: Ruzm Umturtannysser
More Ruzm players representing the nation, Ghanyesal & Ghanos will be the youngest players in Ksarkus & Ksanus' starting line-up at just 19, providing width with their marauding runs and adding strength even with their tender years, being physical and combative wingers who will link up nicely with Etzlende & Azilende. They like boxing too, and wrestling, and larking about in mud and water, and manly things like that.

Image
Surname: Zhitv-CerenthatirAge: 33Team: Umturtannysser Llufskal
These are a pair of old heads from Ruzm's cross-town rivals Llufskal, no doubt brought into the squad to provide some experience and calming influences on the team - although they have no experience of international football, this being the first ever tournament The MZ have competed in. And they are hardly calming: well known as committed extroverts, they will be mostly on hand to provide parties whilst on tour and guidance into how to trash hotel rooms.

Image
Surname: Blinnz-UmturtannysserAge: 27Team: Ruzm Umturtannysser
Likely to be the stars of the show for The MZ. Yet more from Ruzm, there is almost no-one who would dispute that Etzlende & Azilende are the strikers of the moment in Monozygotia. Poster boys for twinculture, the Double Government hopes to exploit them mercilessly to promote the cause of Monozygotism, though no-one in the Government can quite agree on what precisely that means. Playing all their careers for their home-town club, they are fan favourites although they are known to be rather lazy players: but in the domestic system of rush goalie where goals can often be left exposed, the most effective striking tactic can often be the the goal hanger and these boys are expert at that.

Image
Surname: Rhunn-IngwardarsamAge: 26Team: Ashgartinghai-Duv
A very fine pair of back-up strikers, Ixalek & Ixil have been brought in by the coaches Yinus & Yinnai who work with them daily at A.-Duv. Less prolific than the Blinnz-Urturtannysser boys, and more hard-working, they don't cut quite the same glamorous jib but can be relied upon in a fix.

Anything goes, more or less. But please read the above on Monozygotic culture and keep players behaviour within the cultural constraints outlined: the Monozygotes are culturally ingrained to dislike singletons, for example, so will not forge friendships or, gods forbid, participate in sexual encounters of any kind with anyone other than identical twins.

A NOTE ON INJURIES, SUBSTITUTIONS, SENDINGS-OFF
Technically the Monozygotes only have one substitution option: because they will always replace players in pairs, they will have to double sub when necessary and will not use a third sub which would leave one twin on the pitch alone, and this never happens in unforced play. With a sending off, there is no easy way to replace the twin of the sent off player. In domestic Monozygotic football, a sending off means both players leave the pitch, but in the case of standard international association rules football, the twin stays on: they will be pretty useless though, for psychological reasons.

The Polkopian National Team plays a 4-1-3-2 formation. The attacking midfielder will sometimes rush in to assist the two forwards in a dangerous attack, while the defensive midfielders will stay just ahead of the defenders. The wingers will try and find various ways to cross the ball to the middle, where one of the forwards will then try to direct the ball into the opposition's net. Normally, the forward playing on the left side of the pitch will play a little back compared to the forward on the right, but both will have an equal chance at scoring.

Kidlantis National Football Team

Formation: 4-3-1-2
Nickname: Blue Eagles
Style Modifier: -4
Manager: George Melfiner, 52 years old, Takhai United
Assistant Manager: Bill Schulze, 43 years old, Jankosweerky F.C.
Goalkeeper coach: Hans Lang, 49 years old, Real Ravenia
Trainer: Charla Burton, 38 years old, Kransburg F.C.

Goalkeepers (Starters in italics):
#1, Jake Smith, 38 years old. Height: Six feet, one inch. Position: Goalkeeper. Club: Takhai United. Jake Smith is known in Kidlantis as the premier goalkeeper of the country, playing for the Kidlantis Football League reigning champion Takhai United. An aging veteran, however, Smith is injury prone and cannot make the plays he used to be able to make in his youth..
#17, Hallvard Gulbrandsen, 24 years old. Height: Six feet, four inches. Position: Goalkeeper Club: Kidlantis City. Hallvard Gulbrandsen is the second-string goalkeeper for the Kidlantis National Football Team, who plays in the case that goalkeeper Jake Smith has yet another injury.
#26, Roderick Baines, 26 years old. Height: Five feet, ten inches. Club: Xerntevis F.C. Position: Goalkeeper Baines is the third-string goalkeeper for Kidlantis, even though he is recognized as the nation's second-best goalkeeper. He is third-string due to the fact that his chemistry doesn't mix with Manager George Melfiner, who is manager of Xerntevis F.C.'s worst rival, Takhai United.

Defenders (Starters in italics):
#8, Igor Petroavik, 27 years old. Height: Six feet, seven inches. Position: Centreback. Club: Valendire. Team Captain. The 225-pound, muscular player known as Igor Petrovich is part of Kidlantis' "Iron Wall" of defenders. Petrovich can run rather fast for his size, however his main downfall is his lack of agility.incredibly fast
#21, Marmaduke Curtis, 33 years old. Height: Five feet, ten inches. Position: Centreback. Club: Jankosweerky FC
Marmaduke Curtis, although he isn't close to as muscular as Petrovich, makes up for his lack of strength with speed and agility.
#15, Kailey Powers, 23 years old. Height: Six feet, zero inches tall. Position: Rightback. Club: Shadoplis FC Powers is a rookie playing for Shadoplis FC, she, despite not having the experience of Petrovich or Curtis, has more energy then either of them.
#10, Heike Holzer, 25 years old. Height: Five feet, ten inches tall. Position: Leftback. Club: Hansweerky Independence Another young player, Holzer is incredibly fast and excellent at stopping opposing forwards.
#14 Tomi Morris, 37 years old. Height: Six feet, four inches. Position: Centreback. Club: Real Ravenia. Morris is a veteran player for Real Ravenia, who plays for Real Ravenia, and is retiring after the end of this World Cup. The main reason Morris is still on the squad is because of his experience.
#19 Sigurd Niequist, 27 years old. Height: Five feet, ten inches. Position: Centreback. Club: Kransburg FC. Niequist is a star for little known Kransburg FC with a mix of speed, agility, and muscle.
#20 Velibor Knezevic, 30 years old. Height: Six feet, six inches. Position: Rightback. Club: Xerntevis FC. Knezevic is backup rightback for the national team, and is nearly the size of Petrovich.
#2 Thomas Rowland, 31 years old. Height: Five feet, eight inches. Position: Leftback. Club: Kidlantis City. Rowland is a backup leftback playing for the national team, and is fast and agile, nearly to the same level of Curtis.

Midfielders (Starters in italics):
#22, Zachary Zimmerman, 29 years old. Height: Six feet, four inches. Position: Defensive Midfielder. Club: Valendire
Zachary Zimmerman is a quick and agile midfielder for Valendire, the nation's fourth best football club. Although he doesn't have as many goals as rival Kidlantis City's defensive midfielder Melinda Grandorgo, he is less prone to letting a ball behind him.
#33 Hannah Lee, 26 years old. Height: Five feet, eleven inches. Position: Side Midfielder. Club: Kidlantis City Shockwave (Different club than Kidlantis City) Hannah Lee is one of the best multirole midfielders in Kidlantis, despite being on of the worst teams in Kidlantis.
#18 Alexander Destonius, 35 years old. Height: Six feet, one inch. Position: Side Midfielder. Club: Real Ravenia. Vice-captain Alexander Destonius is a well-rounded, experienced midfielder for Team Kidlantis, his only downfall being that he no longer has the youthful energy he did when he was younger.
#56 Edwin Vaite, 21 years old. Height: Five feet, ten inches. Position: Attacking midfielder. Club: Takhai United.
Edwin Vaite is the youthful attacking midfielder playing for Takhai United. He has the youthful energy that Destonius lacks, although Vaite's lack of experience is his major downfall.
#81 Melinda Grandorgo, 25 years old. Height: Six feet, two inches. Position: Defensive Midfielder. Club: Xerntevis F.C.
Melinda Grandorgo plays defensive midfielder for Xerntevis F.C. and the national team. Although she has the most goals for a defensive midfielder in the nation, she is more prone to let forwards get behind her.
#42 Daryl Webster, 28 years old. Height: Five feet, ten inches. Position: Side Midfielder. Club: Shadoplis F.C.
Daryl Webster plays side midfielder for Shadoplis F.C., and is the back up side midfielder who is famous for his signature headbutt.
#7 Gregory Baker, 37 years old. Height: Six feet, zero inches. Position: Attacking Midfielder. Club: Jankosweerky F.C.
Baker is not the best midfielder out there, but a solid and dependable player when needed.
Forwards (Starters in italics.):
#32 Homer Willis, 28 years old. Height: Five feet, eight inches. Position: Centre Forward. Club: Real Ravenia.
To be honest, Kidlantian forwards suck. For a society whose football is based on defense, forwards aren't as good as they should be. However, the tiny Homer Willis is a tiny and agile little player who can evade defenders with ease.
#41 Walter Price, 22 years old. Height: Six feet, three inches. Position: Centre Forward. Club: Kidlantis City.
Price, although not a top quality forward, Price is filled with energy and is known for his speed and flashy playing.
#45 Carl Walker, 23 years old. Height: Six feet, one inch. Position: Centre Forward. Club: Kransburg F.C..
Walker is a decently high scoring forward, who is the backup forward for the Kidlantis National Team. Walker is only 23 years old, and lack of experience and speed is the main reason he will be on the bench for most of this World Cup.
#51 Seppel Leitz, 38 years old. Height: Six feet, three inches. Position: Centre Forward. Club: New Pazania Freedom.
Leitz is a veteran player who used to be a high scorer back in his youth, but whose experience is now the main reason he is still on the squad instead of his storing.

However, following a major rebuilding effort in 2010, the stadium was repaired an turned into the National Football Stadium, its nickname Blue Eagle Stadium.

Kandorese National Team

The Blue Dragons

The Home and the Away Kit for the Kandorese National Team.

Style Modifier: +2.5
Formation:
Adaptive 4-1-2-1-2 (4-4-2 Diamond)

The style is based on quick and continues passing, working towards quick runs on the flanks and the centre. While defensive on the flanks, the formation focusses on quick attacks and especially counter attacks. The defence plays a tight line, that barely budges, but pushes the ball into the midfield, where the majority of the Kandorese football is played.

Coaching Staff

Xíanjí Hatema

Age: 58
Xíanjí is most well known to be one of Nagato Goya's best scoring and most capped players in football history.
He is known as a compassionate but highly disciplined coach. He knows no defeat and strives for perfection within his team, especially on the world stage.
With two World Cups in charge, he surely is the most experienced national team coach for the Kandorese.

Huangzhou Yu

Age: 29
Fresh from Xiangzhou Sapphire's field, the assistant coach looks promising according to the critics and Xíangjí Hatema. He started his career as coach with a local team and fought his way up to the major domestic league of Kandorith. He has shown to be calm and understanding, making him the perfect candidate as assistant coach for the national team.

Starting XI

Defence

Goalkeeper

Huajian Kanzo

Age: 21
Length: 196CM
This young goalie started his career at the Jinhuan Wings, to be bought by Nagato Goya.
Witha flawless record between the post for two seasons now.
Huajian is well on his way of becoming a hall of fame goalkeeper, being a great one-on-one defender as a great free kick and corner kick interceptor.

Defence

Kahua Jin

Age: 22
Length: 185CM
Another young gun from Jiexie, he is the captain of the defence; always aware of situations and quick to step in towards any incoming attack.
He is known for his robust but fair tackles; never taking his eye off the ball.

Jin Zexi

Age: 25
Length: 178CM
Known for his quick tackles and saving headers;
this agile defender is a tough one to run away from.
He only has one goal: regaining possession and passing the ball around as quick as possible.

Mitsuharu Eri

Age: 23
Length: 176CM
Mitsuharu, a true defender. He is the man for the pass and the crosses, the tactical link between and in-between the midfield.
He is a great supportive player and a quick runner, with an eye for quick passes or crosses trough the midfield.

Midfield

Miraki Nakamura

Age: 22
Length: 190CM
Miraki Nakamura, the "star" defender of Xianghzou Sapphires.
With his length, sturdiness and great heading abilities he is sure to give strikers who are receiving the ball or are trying to make a run for it a hard time.
Even though he is quite sturdy; Miraki does not lack in speed at all, being an agile and fast player.

JieJie

Age: 25
Length: 177CM
Passer, runner and assists; JieJie, another star from Nagato Goya.
He has made his début 3 years ago and has shown many coaches he is the man for the midfield passing and chance creating.
With tactical insight and almost unmatchable running speed he is the winger and the attacking midfielder.

Taiji Moto

Age: 26
Length: 181CM
The Captain, El Commandante, and the elder; Taiji Moto the captain of the Kandorese National Team and the Captain of Nagato Goya.
Experienced, ferocious and quick. He plays mostly defensive but when he sees a goal scoring opportunity or the chance for an assist he won't hold back.
He is one of the links of the chain,to keep that ball passing and keep possession, while steering the team towards a goal.

Kawashi Akira

Age: 22
Length: 176CM
Akira, a true offensive midfielder and a chance creator.
He runs with agility and speed trying to pry himself trough the lines of the opponents.
He is known for amazing shots on goal and free kicks, without any fear of trying to creep a long shot effort into the nettings.

Atasuki Eguchi

Age: 24
Length: 176CM
The true winger of the team, always scanning the sideline; waiting for that pass to push it forward and create a goal chance.
He is a fast and agile runner with great crossing ability.
His most notable love of the game, is giving defenders a hard time by running and crossing when they least expect it.

Strikers

Iichi Fuji

Age: 23
Length: 182CM
The "support" striker. Iichi is the main assist and header in front of goal; his headers are precise, fast and dangerous;
just like this man when he has the ball in front of goal.
He does not aim for the goal, he is the main passer when the 6 yard box gets hot.
A real dribbler and trick passer, leaving the scoring to his fellow strikers or attacking midfielder.

Méng Zeijí

Age: 21
Length: 181CM
The current star of Kandorese football.
This youngster has made his name as goal cannon, never passing the oppertunity to score and when he does see the chance; the ball flies in like a guided projectile.
Also agile and a real dribbler, he loves to run circles around the defence and rocket the ball into a tight corner.
Méng is accurate, calm and controlled, which made him the current top scorer of the Kandorese league.

"Huanghzhé Stadium"
Capacity: 120,000

Originally designed as a multi-purpose Olympic stadium, it was bought by the management of the Nagato Goya soccer team. After a billion Qúan project the stadium was fully renovated and issued as the largest football stadium within Kandorith, still in use by both Nagato Goya and the Kandorese National team.

World Cup 20 Champions

The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium (87,000 Seating Capacity) in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali-Ring. The Tivali-Ring complex was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict. 'The Ring' has since hosted countless international matches including high profile matches such as the World Cup 31 Final and the 40th Series 'B' Champions Cup Final.

Despite being based at the Ring, The Football Association of Vilita regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the 87,000 capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali-Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, domestically for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchups. The Football Association typically releases a stadium schedule when applicable.

Head Coach: Calaesa Mitaroka
After a highly successful spell as the manager of club side Jungle Strike FC, Calaesa Mitaroka led the Vilitan National Team as head coach for the first time during their World Cup 61 Qualifying Campaign. Mitaroka's late run of form secured a spot in the Finals for the Jungle Cats. While success hasn't come naturally to the Jungle Cats in the Finals, Mitaroka did set the mark for the best ever record during a qualifying campaign with a 17-1-0 Record at the helm during World Cup 64 Qualifying.

The coaches will select the squad from the National Player pool. Players are listed below, grouped by position and sorted by projection 'Depth Chart' position where the top player listed is most likely to be named the first player selected for that position, and so on. Depth chart positions are determined by performance in pre-cup training sessions, as well as performance and average ratings in the Vilitan League competition and previous appearances for the National Team.

*Note: Profiles for low-depth players have been omitted due to size constraints.
GOALKEEPERS:

[ 85 ] Nycflala Kater [ - Kiiara-Torra - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 90 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.52 Average Rating ]
Descended of former National Team goalkeeper Jimmy Kater, who took over the starting position on the National Team under the intense spotlight of the World Cup 17 Finals in Vilita and remained first choice keeper for the majority of Vilitan national competition in subsequent seasons before joining the coaching staff for World Cup 31. Nycflala made his full debut for the Vilita National Team during World Cup 57 where he was named the starter in 14 of Vilitas 16 qualification matches. Kater performed strongly with 6 shutouts and a 5.86 average rating. Many claim that the focus on the World Cup 57 Qualifying campaign distracted Strike players such as Kater from performing well domestically in VLeague 26. Kater ensured there would be no dissapointment in VLeague 27 leading Strike comfortably to both the League and Cup titles, repeating the feat during VLeague 29 and VLeague 30. After winning the Vilitan Cup, Stellar Division and Tropical Trophy just one more time over the next five seasons, Kater left Strike FC despite not having another contract lined up, looking to focus on the World Cup 63 Finals in nearby Turori. Humbled by the Jungle Cats epic failure in Turori, Kater went back to roots moving up the coast from Strike to Kiiara. After briefly helping at Kiiarana City, Kater switched to Kiiara-Torra and led the side to the Declasse title and an appearance in the Vilitan Cup Final, the first ever for the club.

[ 91 ] Aranora Jaded [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 28 CAPS: 32 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 4.38 Average Rating ]
Jaded was given a great confidence boost by the decision of the coaching staff to sell Jaqe Planst to Cednia Beach AFC. The two young keepers were fighting for the right to be the next Arcticala starting keeper, and Jaded won that job, leading Arcticala to the Tropical Trophy title in Season 27 - on penalty kicks, against his opposite number Planst who was making his first start for Cednia Beach since leaving Arcticala. After a stellar tit-for-tat opening to their careers, both Planst and Jaded hit a mid-career funk with club and country culminating with Arcticala Inlet's shock relegation from the Stellar Division following V-League Season 36 leaving many to wonder if Jaded would remain at his life-long club. Jaded would remain, however, and helped the Electricians bounce right back to the Stellar Division for Season 38. Jaded's strong performances continued as he led Arcticala Inlet back to the UICA Champions Cup with a top 5 finish in the Season 38 Stellar Division table.

[ 90 ] Jaqe Planst [ - Cednia Beach AFC (TUR) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 28 CAPS: 18 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.11 Average Rating ]
Planst was acquired by Cednia Beach AFC after playing just 1 match in Season 26 for Arcticala Inlet. Planst helped the Turorian side to second place in the VLeague 27 table and a return to UICA Competitions. A poor showing during the AOCL V in which Cednia Beach were eliminated in the group stage likely kept Planst out of any contention for a National Team spot during World Cup 58 Qualifiers, although, as a highly skilled keeper, Planst was still invited to the training camp. Planst has an ongoing rivalry with former Cednia Youth teammate Aranora Jaded who left Cednia Beach to join Planst's former club, Arcticala Inlet, and also achieved great success. Despite struggling to lead Cednia Beach to the domestic success they so craved and being between the sticks as Mliona-Lpaka overtook Cednia Beach as the premier domestic club in Turori, Planst was named Cednia Beach player of the season 4 times between season 28 and 35.

[ 92 ] Cilamara Issah [ - Marine Coast United - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 19

[ 98 ] Atacir Tivalan [ - Makosile FC - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 31

DEFENDERS:

[ 61 ] Endur Rotropii [ - Marine Coast United - ]
------- D RLC ( AGE: 19 CAPS: 12 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ 7.40 Average Rating ]
Rotropii made his debut for Marine Coast United during Season 38 and quickly grew popular with the fans in Crosaibi, being named Marine Coast's player of the season in his rookie campaign. Rotropii scored his first career international goal during World Cup 65 Qualifying in a 4-1 victory over Mashiki and was a key member of the AOCAF 41 Championship winning side.

[ 94 ] Miiara Makose [ - Strike FC - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 113 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.64 Average Rating ]
Makose has Druidan blood, though has been diluted through multiple generations. He was trained as a goalkeeper in Turori but did not want to be stuck in the shadows of Nycflala Kater, so switched over to the defensive role when joining the Strike Academy. The transition was clearly justified as Makose was one of the top performing players in World Cup 57 qualifying, carrying a 6.65 average rating while appearing in 14 of Vilita's 16 group matches. Makose was also part of Strike's dominating VLeague 27 performances winning the League and Cup titles with the club and repeated the feat during VLeague 29, doing one better, having scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute of the Cup Final against the rival Yeaddin Owls. Incredibly, Makose did it again during the Season 30 Cup Final, scoring the opening goal of Strike's 2-0 victory over Colonial Sile. The list of accomplishments for Makose continued to grow with his allegiance to his home club, including International success as champions of the Aeropag Invitational and the Cygnus Cup following Vilitan Season 38. Makose then led Strike FC to the Stellar Division title and a repeat victory in the Cygnus Cup the following season.

[ 9 ] Ritopa Simafela [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 34 CAPS: 127 :: GOALS::SR: 10 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.59 Average Rating ]
Ritopa was a standout product of the Lunar Academy and was named as one of the captains of Vilita's World Cup 57 Qualifying Squad. The son of a Rocket Scientist and a Physicist, Simafela is already well educated and is in no way reliant on a career in sports. However, strong performances during his debut qualifying campaign including a 6.05 average rating and 2 goals spurred transfer inquiries from foreign clubs and comparisons to Vilitan greats like Enzo Ahat and Ricky Ezis. Simafela transferred to Strike FC for VLeague 27 and was an instrumental part of their double success in the League and Cup. Simafela amassed 3 Stellar Division titles, 4 Vilitan Cup championships and one Tropical Trophy victory as a member of a Strike club heavily populated with Vilitan National Team members before spending Season 35 up the coast at Kiiarana City.

[ 8 ] Ricata Amakra [ - Cednia Beach (Turori) - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 3 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.50 Average Rating ]
The product of the Alikka-Corra Academy is a defender being compared locally with former Alikki-Corra FC defender Emarka Laniora. While he doesn't yet share the same ability to charge up either wing with the ball, his solid defensive skills should see him earn some playing time with the National Team. Amakra has been a star performer in the Non-Leagues with the Orbital Kickers. After amassing a 10-season, 400+ match career outside the Vilitan League system, Amakra finally made the leap ahead of V-League Season 37 signing for Morata Valley and moving back to the main island. After two seasons in Morata Valley, Amakra switched to Cednia Beach AFC in Turori for Season 39.

[ 62 ] Tlikao Muratai [ - Kiiara-Torra - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 17 CAPS: TBC :: GOALS::SR: TBC U21: REG: ) :: [ TBC Average Rating ]
A Member of the AOCAF 41 Championship winning side, Muratai quickly proved his worth at the international level as well as earning a domestic transfer to Kiiara-Torra in the Vilitan Stellar Division for Season 40.

[ 68 ] Kadi Molali [ - Makosile - ]
------- D R ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 103 :: GOALS::SR: 8 U21: REG: ) :: [ 7.04 Average Rating ]
Molali has the ability to make stunning runs up the right side of the field and has put together exciting 'from-nothing' goal scoring opportunities in weekly scrimmage matches. Molali was an exciting prospect for the Turoki Academy who was solid, but not exceptional during World Cup 57 Qualifying, making 13 appearances and scoring 1 goal. After joining multiple clubs, including Strike FC, Molali left the VLeague abrubtly in the middle of VLeague 26. After some time off, Molali returned, signing for Eastal Lunar FC and completing a strong VLeague Season 27. Following Eastal Lunar's relegation, however, Molali - fearing the relegation could cost him appearances in the National Team, spent 2 seasons at Cednia Beach AFC before moving back to Vilita to play for Makosile. Molali was part of Makosile Season 38 Stellar Division championship team.

[ 64 ] Uajiala Pulkki [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 58 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.54 Average Rating ]
Pulkki is a descendent of former Inland Peaks FC defender Pasi Pulkki, and many are saying he could even be better then his ancestors. Pulkki unfortunately lasted barely 22 minutes in his competitive debut against Ipeland in World Cup 57 qualifying, but has put in some more impressive performances since. Like many of his teammates, Pulkki left Inland Peaks after their relegation in VLeague 26, and headed over to Eastal Lunar. Pulkki was a star for Eastal during VLeague 27 earning a transfer to former champions Cednia Beach AFC for VLeague 28. After a season and a half in Cednia Beach, Pulkki moved to the Turoki Tide at the midway point of V-League Season 29, becoming the backbone of a defense that would lead the Tide to their first Stellar Division title(s) in addition to becoming the first Vilitan Club to lift UICA hardware, winning the Globe Cup, Super Cup and UICA Champions Cup.

[ 66 ] Sipaao Vereaoao [ - Kiiarana - ]
------- D L ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 29 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.88 Average Rating ]
A product of the Inland Academy, Vereaoao has played in both Vilita & Turori, but committed his future to the Jungle Cats when featuring for them as a half time substitute against Nitrome Island during World Cup 57 qualifying. Vereaoao left long-time home Inland Peaks after they failed to achieve promotion from the Declasse during VLeague 27. Vereaoao signed for Marine Coast United, who had earned promotion in addition to a place in International Competitions. However, with Marine Coast struggling to keep pace in the Stellar Division, Vereaoao jumped ship to free-spending Kiiarana for V-League Season 29, becoming a big part of the team that would challenge atop the table - finishing 3rd during Season 33 and qualifying for the UICA Champions League.

[ 67 ] Eda Shindhi [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 23 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.60 Average Rating ]
Shindhi is a player in the mold of former Marine Coast defensive stalwarts Ade Hinds and Sibusiso Azaiez. While Shindhi still has some development to go before realizing his full potential, it is expected that he will continue to get a run out from time to time as his skills progress. Shindhi made his competitive debut in defeat against Brendino the 3rd during World Cup 57 Qualifying but did not impress in that performance. After being trainined at the Coastal Academy, Shindhi signed his first professional contract with Marine Coast United. Shindhi switched to Cednia Beach AFC when Marine Coast were relegated for V-League 27, not enjoying success there, eventually returning to Vilita to play for the Turoki Tide, finishing runners up in V-League 28. Shindhi moved to Arcticala for V-League 30.

[ 3 ] Niubo Deneli [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 34 CAPS: 60 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.82 Average Rating ]
Deneli was a solid prospect for the Strike Academy before a decline in his development after the age of 15, a time at which he was considered the best defensive prospect in the country. He ended up signing his first professional contract with local side Lonngeylin Coast, helping them get invited to the Declasse for Season 27, and helping them keep that spot for Season 28. Deneli, however, would leave the club and return to the other side of the street to play for Strike FC in Season 28. After a season and a half with his home club, Deneli found himself on the substitutes bench for the first time, and immediately requested a transfer, which was granted as he moved to Kiiarana. However, a miserable season at Kiiarana resulted in Deneli abandoning ship to ride with the Tide in Turoki, then, back to the big island to play for Arctical Inlet - quickly gaining a reputation as a bit of a journeyman despite strong performances all around.

DEFENSIVE MID:

[ 36 ] Retiso Buran [ - Makosile - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 117 :: GOALS::SR: 10 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.22 Average Rating ]
Retiso Buran was the top prospect at the Sile Academy specializing in the defensive midfield role once made famous by Jürgen Ramzi. Buran is a ferocious player who some has said can be seen with teeth gritted ready to pounce as the attacking side approaches. Appearing almost exclusively during World Cup 57 qualifying, Buran missed only one game and scored 2 goals during the campaign. Burans perofmances both for the National Team and for Makosile earned him a transfer to Strike FC for Season 27, where he earned the Vilitan Stellar Divisions top goalscorer award for the second consecutive season, the first time ever achieved by a midfielder. After spending 10 seasons at Strike the aging Buran wwas pushed out by Babbage stalwart Coll Brodie and recruited by Arcticala Inlet to try to right their failed attempt at avoiding relegation. After relegation, Buran decided to return home signing for Makosile prior to V-League 38.

[ 39 ] Tujamu Treola [ - Colonial Sile - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 46 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.59 Average Rating ]
A product of the Strike Academy, Tujamu Treola excels both defensively in the midfield, and with his head both defensively and on corner kicks. Treola made his competitive debut in World Cup 57 qualifying against West Zirconia. After spending the majority of his youth at Tivali United, Treola joined Jlinal Cove in the middle of Season 31 to attempt to save them from relegation but was unsuccessful, later making the switch back to the Stellar Division, spending one season with Arcticala Inlet before moving to Sile to play with Colonial, winning both the Vilitan Cup and Tropical Trophy with the club.

[ 38 ] Dronik Ratuva [ - Morata Valley - ]
------- DM RLC ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 10 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.88 Average Rating ]
Dronik Ratuva was an exciting prospect from the Valley Academy, who is also able to move wide to defensively cover the wings when 2 or 3 central defenders are used. Ratuva helped Morata Valley earn promotion to the Stellar Division during VLeague 26. Ratuva has continually been named Player of the Season at Morata Valley and helped lead them to their best ever Stellar Division placement of 5th during Season 37, also earning the side a place in the UICA Champions Cup.

[ 34 ] Danie Izmao [ - Kionao Locals (Turori) - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 14 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 4.72 Average Rating ]
Izmao was a Strike Academy prospect who, while not rated as the highest defensive midfield prospect at the academy, was still expected to get a run out with the National Squad in World Cup 57 Qualifiers. That chance never came, and the Venom weren't interested when it came time to award professional contracts. Izmao went across the road to Lonngeylin Coast and was instrumental in helping them not only get invited to rejoin the Vilitan League System - but for the first time ever, to stay there for at least a second consecutive season. Izmao's career never really took off, languishing at Kiiarana City before seeking a new challenge in Turori with the Kionao Locals

[ 30 ] Ukalai Saluria [ - Cednia Beach (Turori) - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 4 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.61 Average Rating ]
Saluria was a product of the Turoki Academy, who has trained with the National Team as an alternate since World Cup 57. Saluria played much of his early career for Jaguar Moreda in the Vilitan Non-League system. Saluria was discovered by Lopinka United during Season 31 and strong performances quickly earned the midfielder a switch to Stellar Division side Turoki Tide for Season 32. Saluria was one of the few dark spots in the Tide's run to the championship and would not be retained for the Season 33 campaign. Kiiarana City snapped him up where he became the V-Leagues lowest performing international player, once again, inspite of the strong performances by his club. Used mostly as a sub on the domestic side, Saluria's set-piece ability is likely the only thing that has kept the player on the National Team radar.

MIDFIELDERS:

[ 34 ] Lopaki Kilpter [ - Kiiarana City - ]
------- M RLC ( AGE: 21 CAPS: :: GOALS::SR: U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
After coming up through the Strike Academy, the younger Kilpter played 40 matches over 2 seasons winning a Stellar Division title before shifting up the coast to Kiiarana to enjoy a regular place in the starting 11.

[ 25 ] Kiroki Mitaroka [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- M RLC ( AGE: 28 CAPS: 56 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.14 Average Rating ]
After starting at the Turoki Locals in the Lower Leagues, Mitaroka's talent was spotted by Inland Peaks FC who snapped the youngster up for V-League season 29. At the midway point of the season Mitaroka was setting the Declasse on fire with skillful performances and caught the attention of the Vilitan coaches who added Mitaroka to the World Cup 59 roster despite having never been called to the National Team before. After their promotion back to the Stellar Division for season 38, the Electricians of Arctical Inlet made Mitaroka their primary target, landing him for a large transfer fee. Mitaroka helped lead the Tide back to the UICA Champions Cup but proved to be a true rental when he moved again to Turoki United prior to Season 39.

[ 55 ] Viliaka Morasita [ - Strike FC - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 66 :: GOALS::SR: 8 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.36 Average Rating ]
Morasita was the top prospect coming out of the Tivali Academy, playing central and left midfield. His sure footed tackling ability is noted but he is a well balanced midfielder. After playing a season and a half professionally for Alikki-Corra, Morasita joined the Vilitan League with Inland Peaks FC midway through VLeague 27. After spending 3 succesful seasons in the Declasse, Morasita transfered to Stellar Division side Cednia Beach AFC during Season 31. Morasita spent just one season in Cednia before moving to Makosile where he helped the Makos win the Vilitan Cup during Season 32. Strong performances for the Makos earned Morasita a transfer to Lonngeylin where Morasita was instrumental in helping Strike claim the Season 34 Stellar Division title.

[ 21 ] Jomur Hulyer [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]

A decsendent of the exciting Marine Coast and Yeaddin midfielder Jonjo Hulyer, Jomur has been compared heavily to his ancestors and even carries the same squad number. Unlike Jonjo, however, Jomur was trained at the Yeaddin Academy. Hulyer would soon become the quickest player to ever represent all three of the original Vilitan Dynasties, signing his first professional contract with Marine Coast United before transferring to Strike for VLeague 28. The list of honors earned by Hulyer in Lonngeylin was massive, with 5 appearances in the Tropical Trophy, 3 Stellar Division Championships and a Vilitan Cup title in addition to being a finalist for Vilitan player of the Season every season he spent in Lonngeylin. After Strike failed to claim a Champions League place following Season 35, Hulyer decided it was time for a change of scenery, moving to Turori to join forces with Mliona-Lpaka FC. Soon after, however, Hulyer did something unprecedented, retiring from domestic competition in order to focus on his performances for the National Team.

[ 29 ] Cristoh Nrubari [ - SK Aasiaat Harbour (PIS) - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 20 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.58 Average Rating ]
Nrubari was a prospect out of the Kiiara Academy who signed his first professional contract with Mliona-Lpaka in Turori. Nrubari was instrumental in Mliona-Lpaka's return to the Stellar Division before moving on to other opportunities. Nrubari got the chance to play in the UICA Champions League, joining Makosile United after their breakthrough Season 31 Stellar Division title.

[ 70 ] Aniara Jiurjai [ - Lonngeylin Coast - ]
------- M RLC ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 38 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.12 Average Rating ]
Jiurjai was trained in Turori but declared for Vilita after being called upon for World Cup 57 Qualifying. Jiurjai can play both central and outside midfield and can use both feet equally well. After declaring for Vilita, Jiurjai moved from Turori to Turoki to play with the Turoki Tide. Strong performances during VLeague 26 earned Jiurjai a transfer to Strike for VLeague 27 where the midfielder was instrumental to Strike's League and Cup double. However, Strike's success would eventually lead to Jiurjai being excessed as an influx of new signings joined the club, and the midfielder opted to move to Arcticala Inlet when the contract allowed during Season 31, accomplishing little before moving on to Kiiarana City, performing equally unimpressively. Jiurjai had a career-best performance during Season 35 after moving to Colonial Sile, netting 3 goals.

------- AM C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 124 :: GOALS::SR: 15 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.36 Average Rating ]
An exciting prospect from the Yeaddin Academy, Siazzu plays behind the strikers in a clean up or attacking role atop the midfield. Despite not scoring during World Cup 57 Qualifiers, Siazzu was an important presence. After spending many seasons in Yeaddin, Siazzu moved to the Turoki Tide, helping them to runners-up in the VLeague29 table. Siazzu played the role of a hired gun moving to Strike during Season 39 to help them re-gain the Stellar Division title from Makosile. Siazzu wouldn't stay for the defense however, jumping ship to Turori to play for Mliona-Lpaka.

[ 74 ] Jian Lejsrma [ - Morata Valley - ]
------- AM RL ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 77 :: GOALS::SR: 18 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.99 Average Rating ]
Lejsrma is a speed demon who was trained at the Strike Academy. The most dynamic and pacey winger in the Vilitan system, he is expected to be a great player for many seasons to come. At this stage in his development, he may get overlooked as he works more on his technique and vision, but with experience, he will learn these skills. Lejsrma has been an important part of Strike FC's VLeague successes. After winning yet another V-League title with Strike during Season 37, Lejsrma decided it was time fora new challenge and made the switch to Season 37 5th-place finishers Morata Valley.

[ 73 ] Manolis Kontalroma [ - Jlinal Cove - ]

A product of the Kiiara Academy, Manolis Kontalroma can play central or on the left side in a classic midfield role. After signing professionally with Jlinal Cove FC, Kontalroma joined the Yeaddin Owls during Vleague 26. Kontalroma stayed at Yeaddin for over 3 seasons before joining the Turoki Tide during VLeague 30. Kontalroma played just 9 games for the Tide before the Owls snapped him back up for Season 31, a return to form of sorts as the Owls returned to the title picture.

[ 43 ] Kristofer Kilpter [ - East Franz Athletic (PIS) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 98 :: GOALS::SR: 42 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.76 Average Rating ]
Kilpter is joint Vilitan & Turori national, but declared to play for Vilita, with the lure of World Cup competition in Vilita's entry into World Cup 57 the key decision maker after the Turorian side was not entered. Kilpter netted 4 times during the World Cup 57 campaign but missed three matches due to an undisclosed injury. After struggling to win silverware with the Yeaddin Owls, Kilpter made the Largest Transfer in V-League history (12.7 kT) to Turorian side Cednia Beach. The transfer was more than double the 4.5kT previous transfer record in the Vilitan League, which was also payed by Cednia Beach to Yeaddin (for Antonis Siazzu). The struggles continued for Kilpter in the hunt for Silverware as Cednia Beach simply could not get over the hurdle, either in the V-League or in the UICA Champions League. Cednia Beach recouped their transfer fee in dishing Kilpter out to East Franz Athletic in the Polar Islandstates prior to Season 33. A rejuvinated Kilpter received praise for his performances in the Polar Islandstates while Cednia Beach would go on to miss out on Champions Cup qualification for the first time. Kilpter's international career has bolstered since his departure from the Tropics, having regained his place in the side for World CUp 64 Qualifying in a 3-player rotation with Erocka Lorei and Viji-mara Lawaai.

[ 17 ] Viji-mara Lawaai [ - Strike FC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 112 :: GOALS::SR: 31 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.03 Average Rating ]
Trained at the Strike Academy, Lawaai has excelled at shooting from long range, and making space on the edge of the penalty area with crafty turns, and may produce opportunities for free kicks if he wears down the opposition approaching the box. Lawaii made 8 substitute appearances during World Cup 57 qualifying, making his competitive debut against Krytenia, but failed to find the scoresheet. Lawaai would quickly become one of the most important players in the National Team set up, making over 100 appearances for the National Team. While Lawaai's goal-scoring rate was not as high as the likes of Banda or Mbidzo - or even compared with most of his modern era teammates, Lawaai's on-field influence and playmaking skills are often cited as the reasons he keeps his place in the starting lineup.

[ 49 ] Xcnaio Bansoa [ - Makosile - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 32 :: GOALS::SR: 8 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.85 Average Rating ]
Bansoa was a training partner of Sirkii Moliaudo at the Coastal Academy, and many believed that Moliaudo's prowess in front of goal was due solely to his close partnership with Bansoa. After not being called to the line during World Cup 57 Qualifiers, Bansoa decided it was time for a change, breaking ties with Moliaudo and Marine Coast United, signing for Arcticala Inlet in the Stellar Division. Bansoa featured frequently for the Jungle Cats during the World Cup 58 Campaign, performing well, but scoring no goals, relegating him from the top selection in the subsequent Cup of Harmony held in Vilita and New Montreal States.

[ 13 ] Yves Gadois [ - Strike FC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 30 CAPS: 45 :: GOALS::SR: 17 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.32 Average Rating ]
Gadois became a hot topic in Vilita after rising to glory as the spearhead for Strike FC's Vleague 27 championship, with 8 league goals and an incredibly 6 goals in the Vilitan Cup. Gadois, a product of the Inland Academy, earned an invitation to the National Team Training camp for the first time in the build up to World Cup 58. While Gadois' international career was overshadowed by teammate Viji-mara Lawaai, Gadois performances at Strike FC would see the player lavished with medals, awards and accomplishments including multiple Stellar Division, Vilitan Cup and Tropical Trophy titles, as well as many Vilitan player of the Season awards.

[ 41 ] Nili Ylimaiina [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 22 CAPS: 6 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.75 Average Rating ]
Regarded as the 'next great thing' in a long line of Vilitan forwards when he made his debut for Kiiarana City, Ylimaiina has since moved to Arcticala Inlet in hopes of leading the Electricians back to their former glory. Ylimaiina was born in Vilita but also contains Starblaydi blood on his Mother's side.

[ 9 ] Lita Adjei [ - Colonial Sile - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 62 :: GOALS::SR: 23 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.56 Average Rating ]
A product of the Turoki Academy, Adjei has sport in the blood, being a descendent of former Stellar Division top Forward award winner Ippolit Adjei. Adjei moved on a loan to newly promoted Hojosan in The Yorozura after WC57 quals as part of an investment deal with the clubs kit sponsors, VIlitan based Vilaye energy drink. When that deal expired, Adjei returned to the Vilitan League, being snapped up by Kiiarana in the Stellar Division and quickly rising to the level of stardom with strong performances and crucial goals during Season 29, seeing the single-cap player called to the squad for World Cup 59. Adjei's impressive performances earned him a high-profile transfer to Arcticala Inlet for V-League 30 where the strong performances continued, including earning the highest performance rating in the V-League during Season 33 while scoring 11 goals. After the Electricians began dropping down the table, Adjei bolted to Colonial Sile for Season 35 in a high-profile transfer that resulted in 11 goals during Adjei's debut season in Sile. After spending two seasons in Sile, Adjei moved to Yeaddin to play for the Owls during Season 37. After just one season in Yeaddin, Adjei switched to Strike FC to form the fearsome threesome with Viji-mara Lawaai and Yves Gadois.

[ 15 ] Sirkii Moliaudo [ - Makosile - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 88 :: GOALS::SR: 27 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.51 Average Rating ]
Moliaudo is a real force in front of goal, rarely missing from inside the penalty area. Many eyes were on Moliaudo during the World Cup Campaign, to see how he fared with a new partner in attack, having spent his entire development partnered with Xcnaio Bansoa at the Coastal Academy. Moliaudo mostly performed well netting 4 goals and having a strong rating, but still left some wondering if there was more talent to be mined from the Marine Coast youngster. After Bansoa left Marine Coast for greener pastures, Moliaudo remained and his stock also decreased. After a second relegation with Marine Coast, Moliaudo jumped ship up the Vilitan coast to Kiiarana City. Moliaudo was named player of the season 3 times at Kiiarana before moving to Makosile

Head Coach: Ematea Saenu
An on-again/off-again relationship between the Gibbons family and the Turori National Team continues for World Cup 63 as Abraham, Jake and Aaron Gibbons join the National Team setup under the guidance of their father Mikael. The Gibbons family was kicked out of Darmen after a vote-buying scandal at Eau Claire Aris Football Club. However, Gibbon's role as Head Coach has been reduced to that as Training Coach, allowing him more time to focus on the development of his son's to the Turorian system, as well as to protect against Gibbons' death in a parallel Wyvern universe to catch up with the former Darmeni manager and end his term in this universe. Turori's Ematea Saenu will take over the duties of Head Coach for the World Cup 63 Finals.

GOALKEEPERS:

[ 86 ] Hooizo Nuakoi [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 49 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Nuakoi, a dual Vilitan & Turorian national, entered World Cup 58 qualifying uncapped and undeclared for either Nation. Nuakoi was widely expected to openly declare Turorian Nationality going into the qualifying, but with the rise of rival Ronji Miiastara, Nuakoi decided to leave the door open to a Vilitan return should he remain uncapped for Turori. After spending Season 26 and 27 at Turoki Isle, Nuakoi made the move to the Yeaddin Owls midway through Season 27 to become their #1 keeper. Nuakoi returned to Turoki during Season 29, joining the Turoki Tide as they finished runners up in the Stellar Division. Nuakoi was important in the Tide's success in the Tropical Trophy, the clubs first major Top-Level silverware, before rising to prominence in the lore's of the opening of a new chapter of Sporting Success in Turoki. Nuakoi led the Tide to the Stellar Division championship during Seasons 32 and 33 before a remarkable run to defeat rivals Strike FC in the 40th Globe Cup Final for Turoki's first International club competition title. Nuakoi's performances in goal were critical as a 0-0 shutout performance in the final match gave the Tide a remarkable victory in the UICA Super Cup, the first Vilitan League side to lift the trophy.

[ 1 ] Ronji Miiastara [ - Eastal Lunar (Vilita) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 70 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Miiastara joined Marine Coast United in Vilita for their V-League 27 campaign in the Declasse, just the second ever for the club at that level. Miiastara was tasked with keeping the ball out of the net, and he did just that, helping lead Marine Coast United back to the Stellar Division at the first attempt leading up to V-League 28. After competing in the UICA 'B' Champions League, Marine Coast finished a respectable 7th place in the V-League but just missed out on a UICA place. Miiastara jumped ship to Kiiarana City in order to participate in the UICA Globe Cup prior to Season 29. While Kiiarana did not make the huge title push expected of them, Miiastara let in a career low 14 goals during Season 30, leading Kiiarana to a runner up finish in the Stellar Division a place in the UICA Champions League and a Tropical Trophy victory. It would be the lone high point at the club for Miiastara, however. After losing his 'ever present' status as National Team goalkeeper to the domestically succesful Hooizo Nuakoi, Miiastara made the switch to Colonial for Season 35 and immediately added a second Tropical Trophy victory to his resume. However, Miiastara didn't stay long, moving back to long-time home Kiiarana City.

[ 82 ] Mumau Atla-Siioai [ - Turoki United (Vilita) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 13 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
A Dual Vilita & Turori National, Atla-Siioai was invited to the Vilitan World Cup 57 Training camp - but so were 6 other goalkeepers. Atla-Siioai transferred from the Kionao Locals to Vilitan side Turoki United for the V-League 27 season. While his play for Turoki was solid, the impact of Atla-Siioai's presence was most evident back in Turori as the Locals were relegated from the V-League with a club record 20 defeats. While showing the importance of having Atla-Siioai in the squad, the fact that the Goalkeeper left the Locals high and dry has not left a good impression on their Turorian fanbase. Atla-Siioai has, however, made a name for himself in Turoki, repeatedly being named Supporters Player of the Season and leading the team into UICA Competition places including the clubs first UICA Champions Cup appearance following Season 36. Atla-Siioai has been the Player of the Year at Turoki United every season since joining the club.

[ 93 ] G.Q Disterfred II [ - Inura Forests - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 18 CAPS: 7 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Young prospect Disterfred pushed Inura Forests into the top half of the Season 38 Declasse, earning player of the season honors at the club and earning recognition as a serious propsect for the National Team. Disterfred was a member of the AOCAF 41 Championship Winning side, but did not start any of the 7 matches en-route to the title.

DEFENDERS:

[ 12 ] Diauro Dlaminii [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 100 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Dlaminii started his career at Vilitan lower league side Alona Sissil where he impressed greatly, warranting interest from all the top named V-League sides. Dlaminii eventually decided to head home to Turori, signing with Cednia Beach AFC where he competed in all of the clubs V-League 27 matches.

[ 3 ] Lioniaa Tana [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- D/DM LC ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 120 :: GOALS::SR: 10 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Tana is one of the most athetlically skilled defensive players in the Turorian arsenal, although Tana's weakness shines in technical areas like heading and man to man marking. After starting their career at Vilitan side Rammsissil, Tana moved to Eastal Lunar FC during V-League 27, winning the Vilitan Cup with the team during Season 28 but relegation triggered a clause allowing Tana to return home to Turori with Cednia Beach AFC for Season 29. After a miserable campaign which saw Tana without Champions Cup competition, Tana joined the Turoki Tide for Season 34, doing so in time for their 43rd UICA Cycle run. The Tide lifted the UICA Globe Cup and UICA Super Cup, one of three Turorian players on the roster for the Tide's Triumph. Tana was named Turorian player of the Season for Season 35 and 36.

[ 2 ] Yoains Konoaafeo [ - Cednia Beach AFC - ]
------- D RLC ( AGE: 34 CAPS: 109 :: GOALS::SR: 8 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Konoaafeo was the top defensive product of the Yeaddin Academy and was expected to be part of the Vilitan national team set up due to this fact. However, after not being capped during World Cup 57 Qualifying, and learning of Turori's intention to enter World Cup 58, Konoaafeo switched allegiances both for club and country. After playing half of V-League 26 with the Kionao Locals, Konoaafeo moved to Cednia Beach AFC where he would lead the Coconut Kickers to their second V-League championship, being named Turorian player of the season in the process.

[ 5 ] Noa-isinao Wioauoi [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- D RLC ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 25 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Noa-isinao Wioauoi ws a product of the Yeaddin Academy who caught the eye of one Yeaddin reporter at a training session doing ball handling tricks, and the shared video went viral, sparking a campaign including a fan website and even local town council requests to invite the youngster into the Vilita National Team training camp for World Cup 57. Wioauoi was invited to the camp, but never impressed coaches Massa and Wrice enough to be capped during the process. Wioauoi, born in Turori despite leaving in Vilita, accepted an invitation from the Football Association of Turori to train with them in preparation for a playing role in the World Cup 58 Qualifiers. Wioauoi has spent most of his career at Arcticala Inlet, though did make a brief stop in Turoki to play a season and a half with the Tide.

[ 4 ] Balariita Muzmaara [ - Kiiarana City (Vilita) - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 29 CAPS: 24 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Muzmaara, one of the youngest players ever invited to a Turorian National Team training camp (Ignoring the Cocoboas), joining the Terrarokka Spirit during Season 27. After spending seasons bouncing between the League and Amateur levels, Muzmaara finally moved to play full time for the Kionao Locals, spending two seasons at home in Turori

[ 61 ] Moia Fliporta [ - Kiiarana City (Vilita) - ]
------- D/DM L ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 11 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Fliporta started their career at Laiotia Locals in the Non-League system of Vilita. Known for aerobic ability such as speed, acceleration and the ability to jump higher than most anyone on the pitch, Fliporta is otherwise not particularly great at the technical aspects of the game. After holding out to remain the star at non-league Laiotia City, Fliporta finally 'sold out' and moved to the Stellar Division to play for Kiiarana City.

[ 6 ] Inaosnaa Klanoa [ - Mavaloiao (Vilita) - ]

DEFENSIVE MID:

[ 22 ] Restiaa Mumamba [ - Yeaddin Owls (Vilita) - ]
------- ATH ( AGE: 31 CAPS: 114 :: GOALS::SR: 4 )
Mumamba was the definition of a versatile player for Vilita's Yeaddin Owls after joining them for the V-League 27 season from Jlinal Cove FC. Mumamba played in every position from Central Defender to Striker, scoring a game winning goal in one game and a game saving tackle in the next. Mumamba is an expert choice for a third sub or to allow tactical changes on the pitch without substitutions being made. The strong and versatile performances of Mumamba during Season 28 earned Mumamba a high profile transfer to defending Stellar Division champions Arcticala Inlet but he left the Electricians the following season to be apart of the growing Yeaddin Owls squad. Mumamba spent 4 seasons in Yeaddin without recording any meaningful domestic awards other than the Season 29 Turorian Player of the Season award. The lure of international competition was too great for Mumamba who joined the Turoki Tide for Season 34, doing so in time for their 43rd UICA Cycle run. Mumamba helped the Tide lift the UICA Globe Cup and UICA Super Cup, one of three Turorian players on the roster for the Tide's Triumph. However, after achieving glory with the Tide, Mumamba returned to his former club Yeaddin, vowing to one day bring the same success back to the Lirai Asku Castle.

[ 22 ] Klaillal Tuirma [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- ATH ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 4 :: GOALS::SR: 0 )
Descendant of Season 4 Turorian Player of the Season and National team legend Cuolia Tuirma, Klaillal will work with Restiaa Mumamba to become the future "All-Around" player for the Turori National Team. Playing in a unique role, Tuirma will be expected to fill the role of being able to play every game, in every position - even Goalkeeper, if there are no subs left. Tuirma will certainly be starting as a substitute during their debut campaign in World Cup 62 but may get the chance to start against weaker opposition. After being brought up through the academy system at Kionao, Tuirma signed a professional contract with Colonial Sile in Vilita for Season 35, winning silverware in the first match, the Tropical Trophy triumph over Strike. Tuirma's stay in Sile didn't last long, however, coaxed back to the luxury of Arcticala Inlet to help in their Champions-Cup qualifying campaign of Season 38.

MIDFIELDERS:

[ 6 ] Raso Tareak [ - Jlinal Cove (Vilita) - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 106 :: GOALS::SR: 17 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Tareak joined Jlinal Cove FC in Vilita for V-League 26 helping the club to a respectable 8th place finish. In V-League 27, Tareak's performances improved with a pair of goals helping Jlinal to an all-time best finish of 4th place in the standings. Tareak's impressive performances in Jlinal earned him a transfer, first to Turorian UICA Champions League representatives Cednia Beach AFC, then to the Yeaddin Owls for V-League 30 before moving to Jungle Strike FC

[ 17 ] Cediici Tzatzos [ - Cednia Beach AFC - ]
------- M R ( AGE: 35 CAPS: 114 :: GOALS::SR: 7 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
A determined winger, Tzatzos is a product of the Strike Academy and remained a bit-part player for the club when the Vilitan League resumed for Season 26. Tzatsos was part of Strike's Stellar Division winning Season 27 side while being named Turorian Player of the Season, but when the success did not repeat itself during Season 28, Tzatzos was transfered to Kiiarana City. Looking to take a step back, Tzatzos moved across town to Kiiara-Torra in the Declasse division and helped to orchestrate a masterful promotion during season 33. Tzatzos would not stick around, however, looking to make the quick jump to the upper half of the table, signing for Makosile United.

[ 16 ] Rutaj Ranaso [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 56 :: GOALS::SR: 6 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Ranaso moved from Turori to the nearby island of Turoki to play for Mavaloiao FC in the Vilitan Declasse when the league resumed for Season 26. After 2 strong seasons at the Declasse side, Ranaso joined Stellar Division side Eastal Lunar for V-League Season 28 and helped them win the Vilitan Cup despite relegation from the Stellar Division. Ranaso wouldn't stick around in the lower leagues, however, spending two seasons in Turori before moving to the Turoki Tide where he would win a UICA Champions Cup title.

[ 22 ] Etamara Kulkkiia [ - Cednia Beach AFC - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 20 CAPS: 29 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Kulkkiia was developed at the Cednia Beach Academy having been highly scouted and recruited by teams throughout Turori and even Vilita. After the Turori Eels failure to qualify for World Cup 64, Kulkkiia became the subject of media attention questioning whether the aging crop of players should make way for younger players like Kulkkiia in the Esportiva-hosted Cup of Harmony for World Cup 64.

[ 13 ] Vrotaoa Lorasoiba [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 108 :: GOALS::SR: 10 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Lorasoiba's impressive performances for Turoki United, including 5 goals during the V-League 26 season, earned a high-value transfer to top Vilitan side Arcticala Inlet AFC. While it took Lorasoiba some time to get settled into life on the big Island, Lorasoiba's performances were enough to get an invitation to the Turori National Training camp for World Cup 58. Lorasoiba would impress on an international level, becoming one of the most important players in the Eels lineup, and also returned home domestically to help in the rise of Mliona-Lpaka as a domestic and international threat.

[ 38 ] Tiika Diirotora [ - Kiiarana (Vilita) - ]
------- M RC ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 48 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Diirotora is a dedicated and well travelled midfielder who made a name for themselves while leading Kiiarana City to the Vilitan Cup Final in V-League 27. After starting their career in the Liguon Valley, Diirotora made the leap to the Stellar Division for Season 27 and the move payed off with 4 goals and a post season transfer back home to Turori with mega-club Cednia Beach AFC. Diirotora spent a season at Makosile before joining Strike for Season 30.

[ 7 ] Rikko Rawaii [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 98 :: GOALS::SR: 19 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Rawaii's dribbling ability coupled with lightning pace make him a threat any time he touches the ball, to create something even from nothing with a few quick moves. Rawaii is not known so much as a goalscorer, instead, an opportunity creator. Rawaii was named Player of the Year at Arcticala Inlet during Season 26 and was named Turorian player of the year during Season 27 when Inlet won the Tropical Trophy. Rawaii would win the Stellar Division with Arcticala Inlet during Season 29 finishing second in the goalscoring race.

[ 70 ] Aaron Gibbons [ - Kionao Locals - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 36 CAPS: 5 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]

[ 12 ] Jake Gibbons [ - Kionao Locals - ]
------- M RC ( AGE: 34 CAPS: 2 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]

[ 23 ] Inlite Makakio [ - Inura Forests - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 18 CAPS: 6 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]

[ 23 ] Kigaoua Oalalka [ - - Unattached - - ]
------- M RC ( AGE: 17 CAPS: 4 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Oalalka never could get settled down in Vilita, taking trial runs at clubs such as the Turoki Tide, Inland Peaks and Mavaloiao before switching gears and looking at international transfer options.

FORWARDS:

[ 8 ] Liinai Zakazaka [ - Turoki Tide (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 32 CAPS: 119 :: GOALS::SR: 46 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Zakazaka joined Jlinal Cove FC for the V-League 27 season and gained some attention back in Turori for their contribution to the 'Cove's impressive top-4 finish in the final standings. Zakazaka was named Jlinal Cove's top player during Season 28. After a further 5 times, and being Top Goalscorer in the Declasse during Season 32, Zakazaka sought higher honors moving to home to Turori to play for Mliona-Lpaka. Zakazaka was the runner-up in the Stellar Division top Goalscorer charts in Season 38 before moving back to Vilita, this time to the Island of Turoki, to play for the Turoki Tide.

[ 19 ] Jukkia Diijelhma [ - Jlinal Cove FC (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 59 :: GOALS::SR: 16 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Born in Starblaydia, Diijelhma moved to Turori following V-League Season 26 to pursue a new career in the Island Emirate. Diijelhma was one of the few Kionao Locals players in their disasterous V-League 27 season to receive even neutral reviews. Despite scoring no goals on the season, the Striker showed some skill that was required for the Locals to avoid another relegation in Season 28, and also proved to be useful for the Turori National team. After 7 seasons in Kionao, Diijelhma moved to Vilita to play for Jlinal Cove along side National Team star Liinai Zakazaka.

[ 24 ] Enluta Makakio [ - Strike FC (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 18 CAPS: 11 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
After coming through the ranks in Kionao, Makakio's performances got the attention of the scouts at Strike FC who signed the young Turorian attacker for their Season 39 campaign.

[ 18 ] Loala Kigoouao [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 77 :: GOALS::SR: 24 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Kigoouao signed for Morata Valley FC for V-League 26 and instantly made an impact at the Vilitan club, earning Top Goalscorer honors in the Declasse while leading Morata Valley to Stellar Division Promotion. Kigoouao was unfazed by the higher level of competition, upping the goal count to 16 in Season 27 and firmly setting the expectation that they would be the go-to forward for the Turori National Team in World Cup 58. Kigoouao was named Morata Valley player of the season during Season 27 and 28. After many outstanding seasons at Morata Valley, Kigoouao joined the Turoki Tide for V-League 30.

[ 9 ] Anuh Ciniima [ - Morata Valley (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 33 CAPS: 52 :: GOALS::SR: 6 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Ciniima was born in Turori to Misrantian parents before moving to Vilita to study and train for his sporting career. The unselfish striker joined Morata Valley after their promotion to the Stellar Division for Season 27 as a compliment to Turorian Striker Loala Kigoouao. Ciniima, while able to put the ball in the net when needed, has shown to be an expert decision maker, recording twice as many assists as goals inside the box.

[ 31 ] Matlya Eelador [ - Cednia Beach AFC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 18 CAPS: 9 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]

[ 34 ] Inamari Altariiz [ - Mliona-Lpaka - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 18 CAPS: 7 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Altariiz was instantly identified as a high-quality prospect at Mliona-Lpaka and was promoted to the senior squad at 16 years of age taking up a starting role in Mliona-Lpaka's Season 38 campaign.

[ 80 ] Abraham Gibbons [ - Kionao Locals - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 38 CAPS: 2 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]

STADIUM USED FOR WORLD CUP 66 QUALIFIER

Allianz Arena , New Portland, Munchen - 71,137

Team Overview
After Kristin Janette's failure to bring the Lions into their second World Cup in the 65th World Cup Qualifiers, she was dismissed with mutual consent. Sir Moros Alexander took over from Janette after the tournament and led the Lions into their Cup of Harmony 57 campaign. Despite being taunted as the "miracle" of Mapletish, he however failed to bring the Lions any further as they crashed out from the tournament in the quarter finals against a strong Jeruselem side. Taking on his second stint as the manager of Mapletish, things weren't going really well as he had expected as he failed to replicate a top four finish in the previous Copa Rushmori campaign, after crushing out in the Round of Sixteen with a close match against regional rivals Darmen. After the Copa Rushmori campaign, Alexander was signed on a permanent basis soon after as he becomes the current leading choice for the managerial position until someone better steps in.

STAFF:
Manager: Sir Moros Alexander, 76
An experienced coach at the helm of the Lions, Sir Moros Alexander is an always confident man and always motivated to go all out in coaching his teams, whether they are a champion team, an average team or a team struggling. In his dictionary, no team is lousy, only a lazy and a hardworking team. Hard work will always bring success to a team that is always trying to be better, his usual words, after notably breaking Home United's dominance in the league with a historical treble with Golden Phoniex while bringing a less favoured Heywood City side to a double later on. More into his book of achievements, he brought the Lions to three URA Cup of Nations titles in his first stint as the manager of Mapletish. Taking the team after the tragic Mapletish Airlines crash which killed every member of the team and the management staff then. With younger players not ready to step up and take on more important roles and more senior players having difficulties working together, he forged a team and rebuild the pride of the national team and took them to the URA Cup of Nations. In his first stint, he also implemented important changes and reforms into the Mapletish football system, which improved the stability of the football system and ensured that the youth academies in Mapletish would provide quality young players for the nations future through comprehensive scouting networks and training programmes put in place with Alexander in charged. Other than football, Alexander was also credited for his work in other sports which notably included, rugby league&union, ice hockey, field hockey, bandy, floorball, basketball, cricket and baseball, among others, through his coaching career and stint as a Mapletish Sports Federation official, while also earning himself the knighthood, the Honorable Order while elected as the President of the Mapletish Sports Federation becoming one of the most senior members of the Federation and in the Executive Committee.

Now he is the manager of the Mapletish team for the second team, what can he bring out from his team? Will he bring the Lions to greater success?

Assistant Manager: Berko Paki, 74
Paki was a close understudy of Sir Moros Alexander in his coaching career and his most reliable assistant managers in his career. The pair met in the FA Coaching Course and went on separate ways on a brief period of time before eventually being united again in Alexander's first managerial job at River Park. With a talent in man management and an charismatic orator, he was a great motivator and counselor to the players and they feel comfortable to confide in him. A strict yet close coach to the players, he aims to bring the best out of every player.

The Buio'Dzz
Before every match, the team members (including the designated substitutes for the match) will perform a traditional ritual, called the Buio'Dzz on the pitch just before play begins. This is one of the many tribe war dance from the aboriginals of Mapletish, meant to awe their opponents, this is similar to the [RL] New Zealanders' haka before their matches. This would be performed unless the hosts of the match in question object to the ritual. The Buio'Dzz is performed by most of the sports national teams before their matches or race etc and also serves as a morale booster for the athletes involved.

Starting XI:
#1 - GK - Willy Gotthard - Age 20 - Celtics Rovers
Given his debut in the Copa Rushmori XV, he was tasked to fill the shoes left by one of Mapletish's best goalkeepers, Oliver Kahner. Although he was a little inconsistent in his performances in the beginning he started to pick up from his mistakes and started to put himself together as he put in some solid performances later on. Although still needing time to establish himself as the starting keeper, he has proven to be on of the most interesting goalkeeping prospects in the country right now.

#2 - LB - Ampelio Alvise - Age 21 - SC Galatasaray
Yet another quiet figure at the back, only letting football do the talking, Alvise shone in Galatasaray Season XI's Premier League victory while finishing the league undefeated. He was a certainly a gamble for Alexander but with his eye for young talent, there was no doubt few would question his judgement on the selection of Alvise.

#3 - CB - Bob Martijn - Age 23 - Club Atletico
Placed at the heart of a youthful defence back at Club Atletico, playing in the midst of major setbacks in Atletico with several high profile transfers and retirement, Martijn suddenly found himself in the middle of the defence after being a regular benchwarmer, he eventually made the cut for the national team with his no-nonsense defending attitude especially so in marking offensive opposition players.

#4 - CB - Yoshiro Ryo - Age 30 - Real Madrid
A product of the prestigious La Academica of Home United, Ryo spent an unsuccessful senior career at Home United and was eventually transferred to Real Madrid where he stayed for good. He was the leader of Real Madrid's youthful defence as he leads the backline with tactical insight, experience and his physical prowess. Never played for the national team before, Alexander hopped to bring experience to backline with his wealth of experience.

#5 - RB - Predrag Boris - Age 32 - Porto
A one club man, Boris played his entire career with Porto and was essential in Porto's push towards the Premier League back in Season nine, and despite the club's average finish in Season Ten, Boris continued to impress for the club despite his age. Undeniably one of the most consistent player in the team, his presence in the defence has helped Porto however he was often overlooked in national team selections often failing to make the final cut. However he managed to impress Alexander in the player trials and he made it into Alexander's team.

#21 - LM - JH Morison - Age 29 - Djax
With a series of hugely impressive performances in the Premier League with East Lakers IV after falling out of favour in Home United after injuries plagued his stay in his childhood club, he has established himself as the lone striker of East Lakers IV's game with several fearsome and talented performances under his belt. However a relegation from the Premier League saw him switched clubs to Djax where he became an instant fan favourite after establishing himself in the midfield of Djax. Matured performances and accurate passes saw him switch deeper down the midfield.

#8 - CM - Di Ai Jing - Age 24- Struggait United
One of the few female players in the squad, she was an inspiring young figure on the pitch for Struggait United. An inspiring captain for the U-21s just a year back for Mapletish, where the Under 21s won the Union Championships under her fine leadership. Ai Jing was put under the mentor-ship of Maria Sarah during her time in the La Ademica, the prestigious youth academy of Home United, where she was developed as a centre midfielder in the middle of the play where passes, passes and more passes go through her. Despite her small frame, her accurate passes and technique often covered her weakness. Forming a telepathic partnership with Alero Junio, both are dangerous players spearheading the attack.

#17 - RM - Jeong Hun Park - Age 26 - Home United
The winner of five editions of the Iron Man competition, the Mapletish's multi-sport competition where athletes pit themselves in different sporting events. Spotted for his all rounded ability to play in all positions on the pitch with the almost complete package in all positions, where he captained the Iron Man Dream Team in the Premier League Pre Season Tour, where they emerged as the winners after beating Golden Phoniex in an entertaining game. He was signed by Home United later on and eventually established himself as the one of the best right midfielders in the league.

#7 - AM - Alberto Valenz - Age 30 - Golden Phoniex
A product of Golden Phoniex's youth academy, Valenz was often criticised for his careless mistakes however he put in rather consistent performances in his career with Golden Phoniex but he failed to make the final cut in the national team selection and was one of the few wasted talents in the game, however this time he is blooded into the team to make full use of his rather impressive attacking work rate.

#9 - CF - Silvio Matías - Age 23 - SC Milan
An eye for the goal, Silvio was an important figure in SC Milan's push to the Premier League, taking home the Stars Championships top goalscorer after scoring an impressive 45 goals for the squad in their push for promotion. Having touched the hearts and minds of many of the Milanese supporters, his ball techniques and speed has earned pundits' praises that he would be the next successor of Junio's strong mount hold at the front of the attacking line. Far by one of the more exciting prospects in the squad, his early addition into the national team would give him enough experience to further improve his game in Milan.

#45 - ST - Alero Junio - Age 29 - Home United - CAPTAIN
The man that single handedly took on defences and one of the most feared player of the Lions, he was in every set up and master plans of all different managers in his Lions' career. The front man of the pack, he is the Lions' goal poacher and main target man in every match, whether is it playing down on the left, right or in the centre of the play, he is always up to task. Modelling the playing style of Francis Lee, the all rounded male legend of Mapletish football, he is faster than he look and he rarely lets the ball slipped out from his foot as he is always close to it. His ability to surprise defenders and scare the opposition keeper with his strong shots are what makes him the most dangerous man in the Lions' squad. The man in front of the five men box and an ever dangerous presence in front of an opponents' goal, he has always been the first choice for any team now taking a heavier responsibility as the captain for the national team.

Substitutes:

#13 - GK - Travis Hard - Age 30 - Super Reds
Beaten by the younger goalkeepers and overshadowed for way too long, despite putting on reliable performances for his club, he failed to brought any sort of impact on the Mapletish team with Oliver Kahner overshadowing him while now, he faced competition from a way more energetic and youthful keeper, Gotthard. Despite that, Alexander planned to give him a chance for him to perform while he still can.

#14 -CB - Alessendra Vito - Age 29 - Balmope Betis
The heart of the defence for club and country, after failing to impress the national managers throughout his playing career, he was selected by Janette and now impressed Alexander. A leading player for his club, his excellent marking ability and defending ability made him a fan favourite. Despite that his aggression put him on the referees' books sometimes. He can be swapped at any time with the starting backs.

#15 - LB - Damiano Battista - Age 27 - Balmope Betis
Quiet at the back and never featured for the Lions before in his career, his impressive defensive performances with Balmope Betis in Season X caught the eyes of Alexander when he was selecting his players. A late bloomer, he was never favoured in the defensive position back at Betis however he managed to prove himself with the given playing time that he has.

#16 - CB - Lukas Gudmund - Age 19 - Golden Phoniex
A product of the Golden Phoniex youth academy, Gudmund was loaned to Liga Two side Tampines Rovers for most of his playing career with the Tigers. Gudmund impressed greatly with the Tigers but the team failed to make an impact in Liga Two, finishing at a rather average position in the league. Despite the impressive performances, he was soon put on the bench at Golden Phoniex but proved his worth with the little playing time he was given, he eventually caught Alexander's eye and got a call up for the national team.

#17 - LM - Olsef Marko - Age 18 - Moonchester United
Breaking into the national team following an impressive performance with Moonchester United, giving them a well needed push in the Premier League as the team looked to threaten for the top spots consistently throughout the season. A winner of the league's young player of the season, this impressive young man has lots to prove, and has a bright future ahead of him.

#18 - CM - Fabio Chimono - Age 29 - Celtics Rovers
Chimono has overcome injury problems throughout his career and he mount a solid challenge in the starting position back at Celtics, combative and motivated, he was given the match opportunities to find his pre-injuries' form and he made good use of it as he only finished second behind Alero Junio in the running of the Player of the Season Award. Having appeared only five times for the national team before finding himself out of the national team list, Alexander did well to bring him back in the running once more.

#19 - CAM - Diego Alvarez - Age 25 - Lumburg CV
An important figure for Lumburg CV's promotion to the Premier League and an important figure in the Campeonato Rushmori Juvenil Sub-20, he is one of the most technically gifted midfielders in his team. Known of some excellent distribution of the ball, with the ability of picking out a team-mate with just a single touch of the ball, this quiet individual can often be seen practicing alone and letting his feet do the talking. However he tends to be a complacent player and a single mistake made in a game would affect his morale for many more matches to come. Not a very complete player in his own opinion, he was capable of making game changing performances under Muain's guidance. He has since improved gradually in his game and has brought forward a dynamic presence in the national team cementing his position in the midfield engine.

#23 - AM - Di Natile - Age 28 - Golden Phoniex
An inspiring captain for the U-21s in the past, as well as some impressive game changing performances for Muain in the previous World Cup qualification campaign, he was a key member of Golden Phoniex's first Premier League victory as they topped rivals Home United in a seven point thriller. A former member of the prestigious La Ademica, the youth academy of Home United, United must be kicking themselves up for letting Di Natile go for a hefty USD $37.5 million, which came as a bargain for them. Impressive performances at the wing in Muain's set-up, he was converted inwards as an all around attacking midfielder by Janette who can play anywhere up in front. His game changing performance against arch rivals Gyatso-kai could always be remembered as he took on the defences single handed before distributing an important pass to bag an assist. Consistency has always been on his card since his return into the national team and he looks to bring his best out of himself while carrying the team forward.

#20 - CF - Sean Michael - Age 24 - Moonchester United
One of the few youthful players and the most exciting offensive prospects of Mapletish football, scoring 38 goals and tied with Toni Blacks on the scoring charts, Michael became a rather familiar visitor to the score boards after his addition into the squad, a rather smooth transition from the reserve squad to the first team, his adaptability has long been one of his strengths and his addition to the national team would prove beneficial for the team.

#11 - ST - Dennis Long - Age 29 - Djax
A driving force in the rise of Djax who are now playing their trade in the Mapletish Premier League after plying their trade in the lower divisions seasons before. Dennis was placed in the front row of many other players in the same position of him. The target man for Djax, he proved to be a very hardworking player often seen staying back after training and putting in the extra effort to train. After a takeover by mega-rich owners, Dennis sees a change in his footballing career as he becomes the highest paid player below the Football League, with a weekly salary of USD$35,000, which may well be the salary ceiling for some Championships clubs in the higher divisions. The most valuable asset of Djax, he is fast and nimble and a dangerous figure in the box, hitting in an amazing 105 goals in 42 games in the Sunday League averaging 2.5 goals every game. The unofficial highest number of goals scored in a single league season, beating Francis Lee's 80 league goals in 38 league matches by goal average and number of goals scored. First call up Olenz Heinz, it all proves to say that Heinz made the right choice of putting Dennis in the squad as he hit in 80% of the goals for Mapletish in CoH 52 as the Lions finished last in the group stage. He has proven to be one of the game changing masters that the Fireykop has been lacking for quite awhile.

The Ministry of Morale is pleased to present the official WC66 Qualification Roster for the NMS Paladins. New manager Israel Klimt, let go for not winning a third straight World Cup for the Bulls, has turned over a lot of the roster after what was a turbulent WC65 for the Paladins. Fred Nguyen, Gaston St. John de la Ware and John Randle-Cunningham are the only prominent returnees, and they'll be expected to help this new side come together.

Tactics-wise, there will be a hell of a lot more counterattacking.

Starters are in bold.
