PROVISIONAL ASSEMBLY, Revolutionary Revolution of the Revolutionary Proletariat's Glorious Worker's Republic of the People's Revolution of Bulgislavia — A Communist revolution spurred the political landscape in Levantian hellhole Bulgislavia recently, as the glorious people's proletarian revolutionary republic began to eradicate the evils of capitalism from its lands in favor of the all-glorious ideology of Communism.

However, following a statement from the Bulgislavian government that it was a democracy, the country took fire from political experts for its lack of tyranny.

Pundit Ron O'Donnel called it "wannabe oppression" in his statement.

"It's clear that Bulgislavia needs to up the ante when it comes to the systematic destruction of all previous order and common sense, and the implementation of a faceless, anti-individual, counter-productive Society like true Communists," he told The Garlic. "Elections are vehicles of the capitalists that violate the ideals of a true revolutionary revolution of the worker's proletariat. The Provisional Assembly and Workers International are spineless organizations hellbent on preventing tyranny from entering the country."

The statements came when the Provisional Assembly, the organization currently in control of the country and soon-to-be Stalinist rulers, announced the country was a "Revolutionary People's Democracy".

Bulgislavian businessmen: "Nigga we ain't scurd"

According to a report by the Bulgislavian People's Propaganda Network, many wealthy businessmen fled the country before facing the destruction of their companies in order to go to countries that support free enterprise. However, the report made clear that many businessmen stayed in the country.

One businessman, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told The Garlic: "Why should I be worried? They are just going to come in and eradicate everything I've tirelessly worked my ass off to put together. I'm excited!" The businessman was never seen again after a group of men in trench coats and peaked caps dragged him away.

Yet another said: "Nigga we ain't scurd."

Additionally, a travel advisory was issued for the Revolutionary Revolution of the Revolutionary Proletariat's Glorious Worker's Republic of the People's Revolution of Bulgislavia.

A Crowd massed at the Naradia International Airport to catch a glipse and cheer on the returning Olympic Delegation who performed well at the 8th Olympiad.

Bulgislavia (RRB) was placed 37th in the final medal talley out of 87 National Olympic Delegations who won medals.

The last Olympics Bulgislavia competed was at the IV Olympiad In Aeropag. The 2010 revolution which ousted hardliner Mehmet Ceau quickly revealed a large amount of physical, emotional and abusive practices in the nations sporting establishment. During this time of investigations and government funding pulling out of sporting programs the Bulgislavian Olympic Committee was thrown into turmoil. This resulted in the Bulgislavians to miss out on participation at the 2010, 2011 Olympics, the national unrest of 2012 further crushed hopes of attending.

Chairman of the Provisional Government as well as senior Provisional Assembly members meet with the Olympic team as they arrived back home.

Most of the Nation's sports academies and the base of the Bulgislavian Olympic Committee have relocated to safe, stable area's in the south of the country, mostly around the city of Naradia to avoid being caught up in the civil war throwing the central area of the country into chaos.

In choosing to not mix sports with politics none of the Bulgislavian athletes have provided any comment on the ongoing civil war. The head of the Bulgislavian Olympic Committee, Iani Okesk commented that "We represent the sporting people of the nation of Bulgislavia, and in Bulgislavia professional sports is apolitical. As for any comment on the ongoing civil war, its a tragedy, one that never should have occurred, no further comment on that"

PROVISA, New Belhavia — The Empire is inching closer to a military intervention into north-central Levantia, lawmakers and administration officials confirmed today. The targets are the illegitimate Communist regimes in power in Buglislavia and Strolingrad, whom have been regarded warily by Provisa for years. During the A.C.A. era, the Germans, with Belhavian and Kcalbite support, eyed invading the region's last pair of leftist regimes but opted against doing so after extraregional geopolitical crises and conflicts - notably the Karentenyia War - devoted attention and resources elsewhere.

The duo of crumbling, oppressive Communist regimes have been in decline for awhile, and War Ministry analysts see the winding down of the Buglislavian Civil War as an opportune time to prolong the weakness of the leftist political factions to speed up the regimes' collapse. With foreign, extraregional communist troops in Central Levantia under the global far leftist Workers' International banner, the Empire and its allies across the region have beefed up national security in light of the threat these illegal regimes pose; specifically, both towards the security of Levantian and eastern Waldenburger nations alike as well as the free flow of capital, wealth, and prosperity arising from the region's primarily-free markets and ideological laissez-faire capitalist foundation.

Newly sworn-in Imperial Senator Hank Richman (C-South Dakos), when asked, asserted that "the human rights violations and effective political-economic enslavement perpetuated by these regimes is atrocious and beyond comprehension....it breaks my heart. It's time we acted to lessen the misery suffocating those impoverished, backwards peoples."

Most Lib Dems, including Raffen 2014 Senatorial candidate and James Gulden opponent Karen Merkal, joined with Conservatives in a bipartisan display of national unity, following a long tradition of internal debates but external harmony with foreigners. "These Communists are spreading death, destruction, and hardship everywhere they go," she spit out disgustedly, "How the whole of a society can tolerate these mass crimes by a corrupt, psychopathic political elite is beyond me. We need to intervene to knock these Commies down a peg and alleviate some of the suffering by the Buglislavian and Strolingradi people."

Foreign Relations Chairman Sen. Adrian Kalian (C-West Dakos) has called a secret session of the Senate for a presentation on known facts and timeline of the Levantian conflict and to review highly-classified intelligence reports by the N.B.I. A detached squadron of the Home Fleet, including an aircraft carrier, battlecruiser, and a dozen destroyers and corvettes, are reportedly in position west of Stavropol.

Analysts: German Military Might A Likely Partner In Possible Anti-Communist Intervention

Military and foreign policy specialists have noted that the Germans are a likely ally in any Levantian military expedition. "Berlin hasn't flexed its military muscles since the A.C.A. dissolved," foreign policy expert Phillip Schneider of the 21^st-Century Policy Solutions think tank noted drily, "The Kaiser is always eager to combat Leftism, and without A.C.A.-inspired distractions abroad, these may command Germany's attention."

Military and intelligence analysts are confident of German participation. Several insiders within the War Ministry and N.B.I. revealed that while the Empire is fully capable of launching such an intervention by itself, the Imperial leadership prefers allied assistance to convey a sense of regional approval.

Senator James Gulden, caught by reporters entering the Senate this morning, expressed assuredly that "our allies and ethnic cousins to the north [Germany] will undoubtedly join us in a just mission to punish these craven leftists and bring a sense of optimism to Central Levantia that an alternative, better system - capitalism, individualism, free enterprise - is available to them if they but overthrow their autocratic Communist masters."

Poll: Public Backs Intervention Into Levantia

A new Werz-Oplis Strategies public poll out this morning showed the public evenly divided on the nature of military action: a slight plurality prefer an outright invasion with full military force (41%) vs. just limited airstrikes, naval bombing, and special forces raids (38%). A mere 11% oppose any military effort, while 10% didn't have an opinion.

Several administration officials used this to say that "it's clear 79% of the public wants us to pursue some course of military engagement. We have the wind at our back." Another interesting tidbit was that 56% want allied participation from geopolitical partners such as Germany, Elcric Kcalb, and the Medician Empie, while 39% prefer unilateral action on part of New Belhavia with 5% unsure.

Support crossed party lines, the gender gap, socioeconomic and income levels, and geographic location. Women opposed any action more than men (14% v. 6%), while more women supported limited intervention over an invasion (44% v. 32%). Men broke 61% for outright invasion, 34% limited intervention, and 6% opposition to any action. Urban residents were more likely than rural and suburban to oppose any action in Levantia (18% v. 9% v. 12%). The poll was taken in the course of the day on August 29th with a sample size of 5,609 registered voters. It had a margin of error of +/- 4.8%.

Chairman Igor Rukesku went on to begin his government disclosure program by addressing rumors about Shadow Org.

Igor Rukesku spoke at length, keeping the journalists at the Press Conference engaged as he detailed various Shadow Org plots and revealed photographs of senior members and fugitives on the run from justice

"It is absolutely absurd that they could accuse the Peoples Resistance Movement as a dictatorship, it is absolutely absurd to call me a dictator....."

The press conference was followed by many across the country. Anti Violence demonstrations took place in Timesna, Naradia, Craasi and Tecetia which opposed any kind of military escalation in the conflict by forming themselves into makeshift "body pits" to raise awareness of the "humanitarian cost" of escalation.

"They claim to speak for democracy but the moment a society collectively journeys along a leftist path their solution is to stomp on our country with a total failure to understand our problems, situations and contexts" shouted one protester covered in fake blood

The Provisional Assembly would like to reiterate its calls for a regional or international Crisis Talks Summit so the various parties could meet and discuss these issues in a nuetral, open and international forum, before any foriegn military decisions are made

BERLIN, German Empire — With reports by the Belhavian Provisa Times that not only were the nations of Bugislavia and Strolingrad — two Leftist nations located on the continent of Levantia — beginning to collapse from internal pressure, but that the Belhavian government was prepared to intervene on the behalf of the remaining freedom-loving Levantians trapped within the confines of the two despotisms, it has been assumed that the German Empire — a long-time ideological enemy of left-wing states — would support military intervention to hasten the liberation of Tyrrhenia's remaining pseudo-Stalinist regimes. No response being provided by His Imperial Majesty, nor the Foreign Office or War Ministry, a prominent Reichstag member has taken the matter into his own hands.

Hannibal von Liebman, former Oberst in the Imperial German Army and decorated veteran of the Nietvong War, has circulated an official petition within the Reichstag and Bundesrat, Germany's legislative bodies. It calls for the immediate invasion of the Revolutionary Republic of Bugislavia and People's Republic of Strolingrad, as well as a policy of total war being implemented. Imploring HIM the Kaiser to "defend the honour of the Fatherland" and "advance the glorious cause of anti-communism and freedom," it has been signed by all seated members of the German Fatherland Party, German Conservative Party, and National Socialist German Workers' Party, as well as fifteen members of the Christian Democratic Party and five members of the Free Democratic Party.

Comprising a vast majority of both the Reichstag and Bundesrat, they have officially presented the petition, entitled "Die Wacht am Rhein II" after a popular song beseeching the German people to defend their borders, to HIM Kaiser B.E. Steinbach for reviewal. No reports have surfaced as to the emperor's reaction, but sources within the Foreign Office affirm that Foreign Minister Bismarck and War Minister Schwarzkopf are highly in favour of the proposed move, with one senior member saying that military action has been "a long time in coming," and that "we have been considering this for years upon years; it [German frustration with the Tyrrhenian Left] is only now coming to a head."

A propaganda article published by the Bugislavian state-owned-and-operated news agency, Voice of the People, has put forth the idea that "further intervention" will lead to "further destabilisation" with their republic. Despite being internationally considered a third-world nation, essentially run by a select group of powerful individuals behind a thin facade of "democracy" and populism, left-wing apologists continue to defend the underdeveloped "hellhole," as described by popular political pundit Maximilian Pflanz.

Strolingrad, a recent addition to the regional stage, has as one of its few allies the Revolutionary Republic of Bugislavia. It is assumed that, in the event of military intervention, each nation will come to the defence of the other. This was not a concern for many MPs, in interviews after the signing of the petition. Von Liebman, in a cool and collected tone, detailed the exact measures that need to be taken against these German enemies: "Their government must collapse from the inside. Their people must revolt. Their fields must be salted, their infrastructure demolished, and their economy dismantled. This is an extremely easy task, when it is considered even Bugislavian media outlets proclaim this to be the state of affairs with their people's paradise."

HIM the Kaiser is expected to reply to the petition within the coming week. Until His Majesty has confirmed his intentions, the German parliament will sit anxiously in wait for the announcement of whether or not the German Volk will once again engage in a Holy War.

Castelmare|Today, following recent announcements by the German Empire, the Medician Central Committee have, along with Naval Strategic Command and the Ministry of Defense, released a joint statement regarding the possibility of war. "We are glad to have had the German Empire as allies and supporters during our recent transitional period," the Press Secretary told the nation earlier today, "With this recent help from them in mind, Mediciano would be honoured to stand by the Germans in whatever course of action they decide will most swiftly, and most effectively curb the strife and turmoil in Levantia."

This came following a memo, made available to the press via WikiLeaks, sent to members of the Naval Strategic Command asking that "all [nuclear submarines] be recalled immediately from the Chausey Islands, as national priorities have changed." The implication that Mediciano was previously preparing for war with Waldenburg has not gone unnoticed, with some groups calling the interim military government, headed by the General Peter Suvorov, a "tight-knit association of warmongers."

Meanwhile, in the capitol, some sources close to the government are claiming that military resources planned for use in the Chausey Islands have been re-allocated to Levantia. "The Navy has several assets en route to the continent," said a source who wishes to remain anonymous, "It's likely that the Navy has already commenced CP operations." CP refers to "Consapevolezza Precedente", which is a tactic that is standard for pre-war naval operations, and often involves the deployment of submarines prior to any substantial naval force.

Peace groups, notably the Medician Peace Wing, have made calls for non aggression during the central Levantian period of weakness. "It is dishonourable, dishonest and hypocritical for Mediciano to attack Strolingrad or Bugislavia during this crisis. At this time, with our government so recently uprooted, we are not ready for any sort of lengthy engagement overseas, and entering such an engagement will be a drain on finances, resources and human lives."

Retired Admiral Franco Martignetti disagrees, as shown in this letter published in the Medician Veteran's Journal. "These nations spit in the face of democracy, capitalism and freedom. They are contrary to Medician goals and visions, and insult the region by their very existence! Mediciano has not forgotten its membership in the ACA, and I know it will do what is right in combatting the leftist threat."

Martignetti's views are in line with public opinion, as recent polls have shown a 77.5% approval of the prospect of military action in Levantia. "This isn't an invasion," the Press Secretary stressed during this morning's meeting, "this is an attempt to stabilize a crumbling government and destroy agents within that government who seek to create further chaos. Mediciano only wishes for a return to order, by any means necessary."

The 1st day of every month see's mass convergences take place in the more stable area's of Bulgislavia. Stadium convergences have been a staple of the Bulgislavian political system since the first Convergences late last year.

There is a fear that any external invasion would see the end of the Popular Assembly movement and the mass stadium convergences. "Such a large capacity for free expression and mass participation would be a threat to any occupation force, any convergence that passed resolutions contrary to the values of the aggressor nation would lead to execution and the convergences to be shut down. Our peoples democracy would be forced to fight for its survival as any occupation force would just install a puppet colony staffed by elite class quislings" stated Igor Rukesku speaking on morning radio when asked about the foreign policy of Tyrrhenia's more belligerent states

The likelihood of the civil war escalating into a regional (and perhaps international) conflict is rising by the day. Ordinary Bulgislavian's are dreading the addition of more weapons and armies on their land. The crisis has left most Bulgislavian's cynical of foreign motivations

"All those foreign politicians who want to invade us because we are supposedly a dictatorship don't really care about us, they just want a war because they think its good for domestic votes and international prestige" argued one passionate Convergence goer.

"I laugh every time those ignorant outsiders say we are a dictatorship, I just voted this morning in the SPEA elections, for the first time every Bulgislavian's can now elect their preferred economic system, while in the fascist imperialist states the people have no say in what economic system they want.... Oh any foriegner is wondering, I gave my vote to Nina Karnov, a Communist Economic Delegate and I gave my secondary vote to the Environmentalist Bloc... now I want to know if these imperialistic states invade are they just going to disregard my democratic vote and execute the economic delegate I voted for!? Hell would they have me executed for voting left!? How can they claim we are a dictatorship when it is them who would commit mass murder on another country for simply living a different way of life within a different system to theirs!?" It was hard to find any local support for further foreign involvement, however some Interlink Blogs saw some contrasting views

"Bulgislavia is the sick man of Levantia, its time to put it down" said one blog post

"Bring on the end times!" stated another.

The mass convergences took place in 30 cities (mainly in the Peoples Resistance Movement) smaller demonstrations occurred in other stable cities. This also coincided with the elections for the Supreme Peoples Economic Assembly. Voting closes as midnight and then the counting will begin.

The Bulgislavian Human Rights Commission has argued that many citizens in the center of the country we unable to express their vote because of the collapsing state of security and virtual state of war in those areas. However in other areas the election went off without a hitch. The PRIA are still on high alert for the fear of a Shadow Org attempt to undermine the election process with another terrorist attack.

Bugleslavia, Bugleslavia| Today, following the buildup of hostilities between the German Empire and the Bulgislavian National Convention Legislative Assembly National Constituent Assembly People's Republic government, it has been revealed that the Bulgislavians have been secretly developing a missile defense system for just such a situation.

"When we saw the large gatherings of people arranging themselves to fit neatly into the blast radius of a thermobaric weapon," Defense Minister Marco Rossetti said, briefly stopping to smother a laugh of fear, "we knew it was too good to be true. It was then, of course that we noticed the defense system."

The system Mr. Rossetti is referring to is the Mk01 T-III/A-4 33 UMBRELLA, the latest (and most successful) of several Bulgislavian attempts at a viable missile defense system. It is estimated, based off of satellite imagery, that the UMBRELLA can defend its carrier from upwards of 10,000 Bazillion megaton payloads, far beyond the capabilities of the Medician Air Force or Navy.

"Frankly," the Defense Minister said in a candid moment, "I just don't think we have anything that could break through such a defense system, and it...." At this point, Mr. Rossetti collapsed into a fit of manic laughter, no doubt brought upon by the terror such a device arouses.

The Navy has been working nonstop on developing a way past this system, and one sailor, when questioned, responded "What?", hinting at the secrecy surrounding the project.

"Conventional weapons won't work against these shields," our military analyst, Noai Dia, remarked. "Our only option will be nuclear payloads, although even those aren't guaranteed to work." Until the government announces its definitive plan to bust these umbrellas, it is likely that all of Mediciano will be living in a state of fear.

BERLIN, German Empire — In response to a petition signed by a majority of the Reichstag and Bundesrat, His Imperial Majesty Kaiser B.E. Steinbach announced his approval of the proposition to a crowd gathered in Berlin this afternoon. Speaking of Germany's dedication to keeping Tyrrhenia "safe, stable, and unaffected by extra-regional Leftism," he delivered an impassioned call to the German People, imploring them to support the Empire's quest to rid the region and world of the "devastating, evil, and destructive Red Horde."

"The Left is a disease, for which the only cure is the prosperity and and success of right-wing capitalism!" he cried, to thunderous applause. "The tradition and stability of the great monarchies and empires of the world only speaks to the righteousness of our cause. Only by force will Tyrrhenia be rid of the vile ideology of Marx and Engels. Let us return these pitiful untermensch to their chains!"

The petition, entitled Die Wacht am Rhein II, has officially been adopted as policy by the Crown. It calls for the invasion and liberation of the Revolutionary Republic of Bugislavia and People's Republic of Strolingrad, two far-left states located in central Levantia. Citing reports that Bugislavia, primarily, has devolved into chaos, with public lynchings, gang warfare, and mob rule taking hold in most areas, it demands that the German Empire intervene militarily in order to stabilise the region and eliminate undesirable elements that have served to cause turmoil across the continent.

Strolingrad is in firm support of Bugislavia. Neighbouring its ally to the east, its government does not seem poised to stand down in the face of a joint German-Belhavian invasion of the fellow Leftist regime. On the eastern side of the Levantian continent, it is not in a position to defend Bugislavia with land forces, but it could use its navy to intercept fleets deployed by the German and Belhavian Empires.

It has been reported that both New Belhavia and Mediciano are in full support of military intervention in the so-called 'Levantian Crisis.' The Empire of Mediciano, having received support from Berlin during its recent transfer of government, is especially virulent in its calls for liberation. The Medician Press Secretary has affirmed their nation will "stand by the Germans," and former Admiral in the Medician Navy Franco Martignetti says that states such as Bugislavia and Strolingrad "spit in the face of democracy." Invoking Mediciano's membership in the dissolved Anti-Communism Alliance (ACA), he expresses assurance that Mediciano will do what is necessary to combat "the leftist threat."

In the wake of an outpouring of public opinion on the 'Levantian Liberation,' MPs from across the political spectrum have come out in support of the Kaiser and his government. "I am proud to have signed the petition that brings us one step closer to a prosperous and safe Tyrrhenia," says Free Democrat Axel Kranz. "His Majesty can only be relieved to know his public servants are so devoted to upholding tradition and freedom in today's world."

Mark Kristoffersson, former vice chairman of the Progressive People's Party before being arrested and convicted on charges of violating the Dangerous and Subversive Ideology Act (DSIA), spoke from his prison cell about the Kaiser's move. "All we seek is war," he said, pressing his face against the bulletproof glass. "Our government's lust for blood will only be quenched in the slaughter of innocents." Mr. Kristoffersson is being moved into solitary confinement for the remainder of his life sentence, and these are expected to be his last words to the public.

A poll conducted by the volunteer-based fact-checkers, Die Unverfälschtes Fakten, has found that eighty-one percent of German voters are in support of military intervention in Levantia. Ten percent said they did not support intervention, and the remaining nine percent were not concerned either way.

Freimut Oesterreicher, a voter whose family immigrated from Belhavia and votes Christian Democrat, was confident of success and full cooperation between his country and that of his ancestors. ""New Belhavia may be trying to cultivate allies outside the region, but they're still firmly pro-Germany," he said. "They remember the ACA, and aren't ashamed of it either. They will be just as eager as we are to rid Tyrrhenia of the Reds."

"We will go into Levantia with cries of freedom for the enslaved peoples of Levantia!" HIM said to the crowd. "We will bring the wealth, stability, and freedom of capitalism to their oppressed masses! We will abolish their destructive, dictatorial assemblies and institute true democracy! The German Volk will be seen as heroes for generations to come, for their passion and fervor in the cause of liberty!"

BERLIN, Nazi German Empire — Local child B.E. Steinfuck, 5, continued his obnoxious behavior earlier today according to senior German officials, upsetting a long period of silence.

"He entered his 'big-and-scary-words' mode," a senior official told The Garlic. "It's so cute watching him bring out his older brother's SAT vocab book and make intimidating statements."

According to the official, the child was upset because one of his neighbors got a toy similar to his, but in a different color.

"He was very angry that someone would get a red toy instead of a blue toy," the official said. "The child was threatening to eradicate the evil of the red toy."

The President Seeks To Galvanize Public Sentiment Behind The Likely Anti-Communist Mission In Levantia

PROVISA, New Belhavia — On the first leg of a four-day public tour to drum up support among the voting populace for the likely multinational military intervention into Central Levantia, President Eli Goldman fired up a crowd in downtown Provisa in repeatedly calling for "the Buglislavian and Strolingradi regimes to go," with his remarks frequently bracketed by standing ovations.

Mr. Goldman asserted that the coalition, as of now comprising the German Empire, Mediciano, and New Belhavia, has a "moral mandate to liberate these enslaved peoples forcefully held under by tyrannical, autocratic dictatorships." He elaborated that "in addition to the denial of economic freedoms derived from free markets and free enterprise, these regimes have committed human rights violations of the highest order," adding, "The Empire [of New Belhavia] is ready to punish those who committed the heinous decision to enslave others."

He predicted that the vote in the Senate tomorrow to authorize emergency military appropriations to fund the mission was "going to pass in a landslide. This is a just operation to liberate millions to have the opportunity to enjoy new liberty and freedom that has been capriciously denied to them for so long."

War Ministry: Intervention Forces To Be Increased, 1st Fleet Being Deployed To Levantian Waters

The detached Home Fleet squadron is holding its position 200 miles off Stavropol, but is set to be joined by the full force of the 1st Fleet. The 1st Fleet was issued mobilization orders on September 1st, and is on-track for an expedited mission to nearby waters to assist in the Levantian intervention.

A spokesman refused to discuss strategy if the mission goes forward, only saying that "due to national security, we cannot give out that type of sensitive information. Rest assured, we are coordinating with appropriate German and Medician military commands to ensure the operation will go off smoothly." Reports emerged late last night suggesting a coalition naval squadron would make its way to continental Levantia's eastern coastline and begin blockade maneuvers around Strolingradi waters to choke off extraregional communist reinforcements. The War Ministry said "no comment" to inquiries on that report.

Gleamed from leaks in the intelligence community, it is likely that the Germans will take the lead in "putting boots on the ground," one analyst revealed under the cloak of anonymity, while New Belhavia "will be engaged in airstrikes...drone [strikes]...special forces raids, that sort of thing. Each destroyer deployed whether from the 1st [Fleet] or the detached [Home Fleet] squadron has dozens of Tomahawk cruise missiles stocked per ship for ready use."

International Support Aligning With Intervention Mission, Diplomats And Foreign Affairs Experts Say

Roger Serrin, a former diplomatic attache with the Imperial Foreign Ministry, opined that "New Belhavia has ample support abroad for moving forward with this anti-communist mission," citing the United Republic of Emmeria and the Itailian Empire in Pardes as governments quietly routing for the fall of the illegal Communist regimes in Levantia. "World opinion is on our side," he continued confidently.

Analysts predict most Tyrrhenian nations will remain bystanders in this intervention. Garret Hoffman, a Fellow for Foreign Affairs at the Center for Responsible Media and Government (C.R.M.G.), remarked casually that "whether its Elcric Kcalb, which diplomatic leaks seem to suggest won't involve itself, to the Allamunnic States, with their growing crisis at home from their secessionist referenda, are equally unlikely to lift a finger. With Waldenburg growing insular as it rebuilds from its devastating War of Succession, and Ascelonia likewise from its own succession crisis, it appears this mission has the tacit, if not explicit, support from the major powers across the region."

An inside source from the Foreign Ministry leaked that "the Imperial Government intends to call upon its allies internationally to prevent additional Workers' International forces from reaching Tyrrhenia if the W.I. attempts to interfere. Many of those allies, avidly anti-communist themselves and often eager to show strength on the world stage, are likely to oblige us."

Despite the election of a new Supreme Peoples Economic Assembly any kind of celebratory mood was dampened by the frightening prospect of war, creeping ever closer. International propaganda targeting Bulgislavia as a dictatorship has increased drastically over the last few weeks in a campaign to legitimatize their notions of invading.

"These imperialistic, militaristic, racial supremacist, warrior societies have no right to bring more misery, suffering and death to the streets of Bulgislavian cities, as if we aren't already suffering enough now more people want us bombed!? I urge the leaders to take step back and think about this situation reasonably, marching into our land all gun ho is not going to help solve these serious humanitarian problems. Any escalation in foreign intervention will lead to more death, more suffering, more misery. They claim to act on behalf of the Bulgislavian people and for the sake of the Bulgislavian people but we all know that very real truth that the Bulgislavian people would bear the brunt of any escalation, more cities would be destroyed, more refugee's and displaced people would emerge and more hatred and fanatical groups would spring up. War is not constructive and it will not achieve the kind of Bulgislavian state that they are after, haven't they ever heard of unintended consequences? Not to mention the potential spread of the Crimson Fever virus and rabid infected and undermine our crack down on Shadow Org"

The Provisional Assembly then passed a resolution calling for "Dialogue" before the situation spins out of control and Bulgislavia is locked into a long, large scale war they don't want

"I urge all international leaders who are genuinly concerned about addressing the very real humanitarian problems that are created from international crisis zones to please attend the International Crisis Summit to be held in Craasi, capital of the Provisional Government in the stable eastern area of the country" stated Chairman Rukesku.

Despite all the doom and gloom in Bulgislavia's troubled international relations, the Provisional Government endorsed the results of the Supreme Peoples Economic Assembly and congratulated all those who participated in the election.

New newly established 700 member economic chamber will decide the post crisis economic direction of the country for a 5 year term. Nominations have been placed for a Chief Peoples Economic Delegate which the SPEA will elect within a week

The Bulgislavian Human Rights Commission were out in force to monitor the election process, while some polling stations were attacked, most area's of the country saw a stable and free process, however the inhabitants of the war torn central provinces were unable to express their right to partake in the SPEA election due to the security situation there.

The Provisional Assembly have stated that elections for a Supreme Peoples Justice Assembly (SPJA) which will determine the kind of justice Bulgislavia will have for the next 5 years will also be established and scheduled.

Another political reform will be the creation of a Peoples Democracy Forum where political organizations will be elected and will act as a parliament.

"Bulgislavia will see the formation of a Revolutionary People Power Assembly sometime at the end of this year or beginning of next year and will comprise of representatives from all of these democratically elected chambers" Stated Igor Rukesku addressing international propaganda that the Peoples Resistance Movement was undemocratic

"These political reforms are badly needed and will coincide with the election of Polis Assemblies for all of Bulgslavia's 155 empowered polities. These reforms will go ahead regardless of foreign intervention. Even if the Revolutionary People Power Assembly must convene in secrete, in some underground resistance or among rubble. WESTPORT, New Belhavia — An investigation by the Imperial Business Regulatory Agency's Food & Drug Commission found that three-hundred cases of Kosher-certified beef contained up to 10% of pork parts in the cuts of meat, illegal under statutory laws governing kosher certification and under traditional Jewish rabbinical law that marks that only kosher meat certified by the Provisa Rabbinate is eligible for kosher designation. When word leaked of the investigation and subsequent recall of Fordham Kosher Food Consortium's meat products, riots broke out led by several small sects of ultra-Orthodox (ultra-Hasidim) Jews. The ultra-Hasidim used the scandal to decry the allowance of any pork products on grocery shelves in the predominantly Jewish-majority Empire of New Belhavia as "opposing" strict Talmudic interpretations of a proper Jewish realm that is entirely kosher throughout. Such stridently-held views are popular among ultra-Hasidim.

A sect of ultra-Hasidim led by Rabbi Jacob Greenstein led a angry mob of protestors to Ari's, a local kosher neighborhood story in downtown Westport where the tainted beef products were discovered, haranguing customers and at one point tussling with a store employee. The protest escalated as one sect-member threw a chair into the store's front window, sparking a rush to destroy the small historic store. Several units of the local constables arrived on the scene but were overwhelmed by a mob of ultra-Orthodox, whose numbers were bolstered as word quickly spread throughout the city and countryside.

Emboldened, Rabbi Greenstein's mob started destroying private property up and down Solomon and Leibniz Avenues in central Westport, the Crown Territory's largest city of 60,000 and the colonial capital. By the evening, enraged citizens had taken to the streets to protest the lax oversight that allowed the debasement of kosher food, confirmed by the some customers who reported eating the contaminated meat unknowingly before the investigation's results were announced.

Authorities announced that over seventy citizens were injured, with several in critical condition, at local hospitals. There is a report of at least one death, that of an elderly man trampled to death by one of the mobs.

The small ethnic German community, mostly congregated in Westport, as well as secular Jews who were presumed by rioters as not keeping kosher were assaulted and had their property ransacked. At least ten Belhavians of German descendent, as well as a German tourist to the tropical isles, were sent to the hospital for injuries. Several well-known German stores were attacked, and one gutted as it was set on fire by protestors.

Authorities Crackdown, Institute Anti-Riot Control Measures

At 7:51pm local time, Governor Zalen Keller (C) announced the archipelago territory in a "state of emergency" and issued anti-riot protocols, including calling the full force of the Colonial Constabulary and local Imperial National Guard units into active duty to enforce martial law as the riots escalated out of control.

The city was lighted as much by building lights as by fires set, as the rampage by the religious right continued unabated. By midnight, the ultra-Hasidim had procured arms and had besieged the city's small Government District, with most constables and National Guard reservists - by now in riot gear and heavily-armed - stuck defending key government buildings, such as the city hall, nearby governor's mansion, constabulary headquarters, as well as local corporate skyscrapers. Much of the city was left unattended as the rioters spread out, marching on suburban residential and commercial areas.

The governor's office, when reached for comment, asserted that "order will be restored" and noted that the 4th Imperial Army Brigade at Fort Kominsky several miles outside of Westport were "on standby and available to suppress the riots."

A spokesman for President Eli Goldman, currently on a four-day tour to drum up support for a military intervention into Levantia, echoed the Governor's message, remarking firmly that "law and order will be restored, and these riots dissipated without delay."

Parliament elects new Prime Minister

Saxon F.D.-Federal Republic of Geanna; Just today, the new Prime Minister swore himself into office as millions watched on national television. Minister Eduin Caffrey took the oath, and swore on that of a book of laws to uphold the rights of the people and to ensure the future leadership and direction of the country. After a full week of voting, and more than a few deadlocks in the process, Parliament finally elected the once Minister of Justice as the new Prime Minister of the country for the next six years. 344 votes put PM Caffrey ahead of his opponent that of Minister of Culture, Henre Suagh by 26 votes.


The now Ex-Prime Minister Georgis Teagan stated he was, ''happy to see Eduin give both houses his all in obtaining the decision, and wishes to see the country led on for future generations'' Outside the capitol, the massive crowd who had gathered during the swearing in went wild to see the new PM who will assume the duties to be a leader of the country. With situations in Tyrrhenia having seemed to ''spike'' as Haughen Times put it, many politicians are interested to see how the once Justice Minister will cope with the policy making, and decisions to come in the next few years.


It has been just over thirty years since the establishment of the delegative democracy, and that of Parliament who replaced the government led by that of the General Assembly prior to 1975 and all though the government is rather new, the generation from that time has all but stayed strong in their beliefs. Some have commented that the current system is somewhat very cut-throat, especially considering how the election was this year versus that of when Teagan was Prime Minister. Teagan won the chair by only four votes, displaying without doubt that the populace is still relatively uneasy along with Parliament of the new system.


''It works, but it still needs bugs to be fixed, and I plan on doing that with everyone's help.'' Caffrey said on National Television. Caffrey says he'll be urging for a new re-draft of the constitution to finally set forth a stable and efficient government that can as he said, ''run itself''. Another question that had come to the intention of the newly sworn in Prime Minister was of what to do over the Harven Conflict. For five years, Geannese military forces have been battling the ''Lawan Dearg'' or ''Red Hands'' a separatist group in the city of Harven who are responsible for numerous war crimes, and attacks in nearby towns.


''They are fighting because they believe they are not being represented like they should, that they have no voice in our government. The re-draft I'd like, should fix this to ensure equal representation amongst all groups regardless. However, it will require them having to finally acknowledge the Sawain Cease Fire of 2012 before I consider making any deals with the group.'' he stated.

WESTPORT, New Belhavia — Bracketed by armored vehicles, personnel carriers, and a few combat-ready M1 Abrams tanks, 600 soldiers of the Imperial Army's 4th Brigade, stationed seven miles outside of the colonial seat and largest commercial center at Fort Kominsky, marched into the embattled port city of Westport to relieve beleaguered colonial constables and reservist National Guard militia from armed mobs of ultra-Hasidim. The riots are into their second day as the religious far right has turned to violence to protest the scandalous results of a government food regulatory audit that found three hundred cases of certified kosher beef containing, in some cases, up to 10% of pork parts, illegal under both statutory and traditional Jewish kosher laws.

In the course of twelve hours, many observant Jews - led by a radical sect of ultra-Hasidim overseen by Rabbi Jacob Greenstein - began to riot, which broke into open violence as the local authorities attempted to dissipate the protestors after they ransacked a local historical grocery store called Ari's, a city landmark and the site of the contaminated kosher beef products.

The ultra-Orthodox Jews, a significant part of the population on western Lucius Island where Westport is located, rallied to Rabbi Greenstein's call to "purge the non-believers." By midnight yesterday, the protestors had armed themselves and ransacked much of the city center, besieging overwhelmed constable and National Guard militia forces in the colonial capital's small government district.

The Imperial Military Steps In, Forces Armed Rioters Back

According to a press release disseminated by Colonial Governor Zalen Keller's office, at 4am local time the War Ministry mobilized three assault companies from the Imperial military garrison at Fort Kominsky outside the city. 600 combat troops, backed up by dozens of armored vehicules, drove in from the north, driving off Hasidic insurgents from the government district around 6am.

With a combined and now-coordinated government force of Army troops, militia, and constables assembled, local military and political leaders dispatched units to drive back the protestors and re-impose martial law, declared yesterday evening by Governor Keller's office as part of his invocation of extraordinary executive powers under the declaration of a state of emergency.

By noon today, the government forces had successfully "liberated" a dozen neighborhoods which had been left in a state of anarchy as ultra-Hasidic rioters had run amok without opposition. The neighborhoods of Crown Hills, Brook Bay, and Forest Mountain - strongholds of the ultra-Hasidic community - found themselves besieged by government forces as much of the city was locked down and citizens fleeing to return safely to their homes.

Arrest Warrant Issued For Rabbi Greenstein

The Governor's spokesman released at a press conference this afternoon in a meticulously-clean and constable-patrolled area outside of city hall that an arrest warrant for Rabbi Jacob Greenstein had been issued by the local Crown Prosecutor's Office. He is being charged with treason, terrorism, a hundred counts of premeditated murder, inciting a riot, and over two dozen other charges. The treason and terrorism counts each alone could see capital punishment sought by the prosecutor.

Rabbi Greenstein, relayed through a spokesman rushed through government lines, retorted to assembled journalists that "Rabbi Benjamin Greenstein is innocent and refuses to recognize the authority of a government that fails to heed God's laws."

Collateral Damage "Atrocious", Analyst Reports

David Fallitz, an adjutant professor on public crisis at the Westport Colonial College of Liberal Arts, decried the pricetag in lives lost and property destroyed in the two-day-long riots. "At least a thousand people are dead or seriously injured," he reported during an interview at city hall, where Governor Zeller and Westport Mayor Eli Markowitz are using his expertise to plan a post-riot cleanup.

"It's too early for property estimates," he added, "But I would say its at least in the tens of millions. This is the worst disruption of public life in the colony in history."

Government Forces Push Into Ultra-Hasidic City Neighborhoods To End the Riots

Colonel Han Cerant, a senior commander organizing the imposition of law and order over the violence-struck port city, vowed to "drive my Armored units right to Rabbi Greenstein's doorstep." At 6pm local time, government forces have surrounded the key largest Hasidic neighborhoods and have hit resistance as they've entered to pacify the areas and enforce martial law, as well as arrest Rabbi Greenstein and his cohorts.

Governor Keller didn't mince words when he asserted confidently this afternoon that "the radical sham of a rabbi and his nutjob allies will be found, charged, and suffer swift Imperial justice."

Shaman's and Oracles unite on Mass Evacuation Plan

The highly belligerent Waldenburg states are unlikely to be talked down according to Chairman of the Provisional Assembly Igor Rukesku who also endorsed "National preservation plans", evacuating to a sanctuary land outside Tyrrhenia was one of the possible options. The provisional government has remained tight lipped on any further details on the plan.

"Its absolutely ridiculous, they wont be able to relocate 300 million people out of Tyrrhenia, at the very least only a few million would be lucky enough to actually benefit from such a plan" argued Nicu Vargas one of the front runners in the SPEA elections for a Chief Peoples Economic Delegate.

Prime Minister of Geanna assassinated in car bombing

Hoffen, FRG- Just a day after Prime Minister Caffrey's victory in the election did a car bomb go off in the capital of the Federal Republic. PM Caffrey's convoy was struck by an IED that as authorities say rested in a car parked on the side of the street. It was then declared on national television that Caffrey, Executive Chief of Staff Johnathon Harmsdell, and Minister of Defense Aldard Herrigan were indeed killed in the explosion. With them were 43 other casualties on the busy market street, and 22 of those have been declared dead.


Acting Prime Minister Thomas Renoli has issued a State of Emergency and orders to lock down the city til further notice. Protocol dictates that curfew be enacted, of which the new Emergency Committee has set for 7:00 PM. The attack has literally rocked the country being the ''closest to home'' terror attack on Geannese soil. It is also the first time in Geannese history since 1970, that political leaders have been killed as a result of the attack. Nearly an hour afterwards, information surfaced from an anonymous source to the Geannese media known as ''Nuacht Geannis'' declaring that the ''Red Hand'' is indeed responsible for the attack.


The news has sent ripples through the government, especially after a series of similar attacks occurred in the southern provinces of Geanna. Most notably in the city of Harven where a series of four IED rigged cars exploded just minutes apart in populous areas. Renoli has ordered the State Guard to remain on stand-by, as the Emergency Committee is supposedly suspecting more attacks by the group. The Red Hand are a group of separatist who have been fighting government forces in Harven and surrounding areas since the victory of the loyalist forces in 1976.


The group is wildly known for its far left-extremism and avid views of a extremist left state. Since 1976, Central Intelligence has linked 53 attacks to the group both in Geanna and abroad. In 1984, the group gained major interest by the Geannese Government after a bombing in Harven occurred that resulted in the deaths of 128 people, and a series of government personnel during a conference. The explosion brought down the five story building, and not long after advocates of the RH swarmed the city in force and effectively forcing government control from the city.

Castelmare| According to top military sources, and documents released by the Ministry of Defense, mobilization orders have been issued for the three foreign legion "Cavalleria Cosacca" brigades to arrive in Levantia later this month. This comes following weeks of intense rhetoric and expectations of war between Mediciano's allies, the German Empire and New Belhavia, and the Revolutionary Republic of Bulgislavia.

A spokesperson for the Minister of Defense confirmed this news, but declined to comment on the expected nature of Medician involvement in the area. Leopollo Venucchio, a defense analyst for WorldWatch, said in a blog post that the deployment of foreign legion units suggests a limited military objective. "The Cavalleria Cosacca are an air cavalry brigade, despite their initial archaic appearances. If we were seeking large-scale warfare we'd be deploying more than just these two units."

Other analysts, however, have suggested that plans to further increase military involvement may be in the works, citing the recent deployment of the ISS Rovina into international waters. Former Admiral Paulo Marri told us, in an exclusive interview, that "putting an aircraft carrier to sea is often a step towards war. Normally, deployed carriers have an escort of one or two ships. In this case we saw five ships accompany the Rovina in her deployment. It remains to be seen, however, whether these ships break off and return to port. If they remain with the carrier group, I'd expect that would be a major sign that the government is planning a far more extensive engagement in Levantia."

This possible deployment is thought to be a reaction to Bulgislavian plans for evacuation and military operation. "It is," Sig. Marri told us, "imperative that the Bulgislavians aren't allowed to flee or prepare too extensively. Such preparations could further fear in the region and increase chaos should foreign military action take place. It is important, as always, that we remember that this operation is an intervention to protect the freedoms and rights of the Bulgislavian people. The optimal outcome would be a restoration of law and order, perhaps via a military occupation. Given the current deployments, however, I doubt that there will be any boots on the ground."

Sig. Marri's comments echoed General Peter Suvorov, whose office yesterday released a statement saying that any military actions would be "limited in scope and purpose, with a focus on minimizing friendly casualties." Political analysts have noted that the government has distanced itself from its anti-communist motivations, seeking instead to focus on reports of massacres and human rights abuses coming out of the area. What exactly happens remains to be seen, but two things are set in stone: there will be conflict in Levantia and Mediciano will be a participant.

PROVISA, New Belhavia — As the three-day riots sparked by ultra-Hasidic-led protests over a kosher certification scandal came to a close, the administration slammed remarks made yesterday by the Pravene Minister of Economics, Herald Cruz, who criticized the authorities' anti-riot measures as "excessive" and even suggested military force exasperated the situation.

Michael Inheld, deputy press secretary and frequent spoksman for the Presidential Palace, lit into Mr. Cruz's statement as "completely ill-informed [and] outright false," asserting that "[Cruz's] criticism is off-base and unbelievably naive." When asked by a reporter from the Berlin-based PrussCorp news service whether there was any credibility to Mr. Cruz's claim, Mr. Inheld countered, "no." He added for good effect: "The professionalism and thoroughness of our law enforcement and military services during this crisis is irrefutable, and the President congratulates their good work. The riots have ended, and a sense of normalcy has returned to Westport. The criminals responsible are in police custody. All appropriate actions were taken, and we have no apology for humanely dissipating illegal public disturbances and halting the destruction of private property."

The relations between the Empire and Pravengria are cool and detached, due to Provisa's wariness over the Pravenes' prevalent leftist politics. Still, a trade agreement is in force to ease business transactions and foreign tourism.

Senate Majority Leader Ian Settas (C-Provisa), a key political ally of President Goldman and a likely 2016 presidential contender, put out his own press release hitting Saxonople for "outrageously meddling in our internal affairs. It's not often a peripheral extraregional power steps on the toes of one of Tyrrhenia's Great Powers. Only a leftist could view the efficient and humane use of military force as somehow causing the riots to 'spiral out of control.' Contrary to Minister Cruz's unfounded allegations, the facts on the ground confirm the deployment of military force quelled - not exasperated - the riots. Minister Cruz would do well not to criticize affairs of which he knows nothing about."

Indeed, sources in the Capitol show that the Imperial leadership is indignant that Pravengria - with whom the Empire has had slightly warmer relations since last spring - has so brazenly interjected itself into Belhavian affairs, especially to make as one Senate staffer intimated was a "purely non-factual comment that does nothing but piss [us] off."

In a rare sign of bipartisanship, a group of Conservative and Liberal Democrat Senate leaders this afternoon held a joint press conference to denounce Minister Cruz's statement. In an unusually hawkish manner, Lib Dem Minority Leader John Fellan (LD-Merrina) argued that "for a nation whose only tentative holdings in the region are a dispossessed colony, one wonders why the Pravene government felt the need to make a factually-inaccurate remark when such matters do not concern the Pravengrian Commonwealth."

Some analysts, such as George West of the centrist think tank the Horizon Institute, seemed taken aback by the harshness of the reply by the Provisa establishment. "At some level," he opined on his blog RealTime Politics, "the major political actors are shocked that Pravengria would interfere in Belhavian domestic politics, considering the Commonwealth has no territorial or geopolitical influence in Tyrrhenia. Then again, Minister Cruz's remarks were factually wrong, and I can see why the Goldman Administration and others would bristle at some extraregional government criticizing them for reacting as authorities usually do - and, it can be argued, are expected to do - in situations such as the riots in the Shelvay isles."

Mr. West continued to elaborate that if the Pravenes start to regularly "meddle," as he put it, in Tyrrhenian affairs, the "likes of Germany and Mediciano, long-hostile geopolitical foes of Pravengria dating back to the War of Words, would not hesitate to confront them in a belligerent manner."

and the appointment of a new Peoples Economic Council who will chart Bulgislavia's economic system for the next five years.

Nora Firmescu was elected with 40% of the vote from SPEA representatives, 10% more then any of the other three opponents. Nora got up on stage thanking the crowd for voting and introducing the economic team. Nora Firmescu was a candidate from the Socialist Bloc and she has appointed the Environmental candidate Adawan Mukesku as her deputy to keep with the left-green theme that is prevalent within the country

"The Socialists and the Environmentalists recieved the largest share of the popular vote which just tells you that the people want an economic system that is pro worker, pro environment and that is sustainable and is people before profit" stated new Economic Chief Nora Firmescu.

"We have big plans in the works and there is a lot of work to be done, our economy is in crisis and the civil war has seen extensive damage to our infrastructure, not to mention the refugee crisis where millions are displaced throughout the country, these are all issues that the post crisis society is going to have to deal with. I can tell you some of our plans for economic legislation"

"We want to enforce controlled rents. We have situations where some people pay 90% of their wages on rents and they are unable to get by, this is simply unacceptable. One of our Economic Legislation is to regulate rents so that they are no more then 25% of the tenants income. We will also aim to introduce a maximum wage. I can tell you know that a certain member of a powerful Peoples Enterprise has over 900 million Urmi to their name, while there are some that are starving in a refugee camp. We need to peg our nations upper classes to our lower classes so that the wealthy have a genuine interest in the well being of the lower classes, if they help rise minimum wages then they will see rises to the maximum wage"

Other plans include a robin hood tax for the wealthiest individuals, economic entities and peoples enterprises to ensure that worker wage distribution is fair and that profits go back into where its most needed in the community

"However our first priority is to set up a commission to draft an Economic Code of Ethics, a Peoples Economic Constitution and to begin the implementation of Bulgislavia's Collectively Owned Resource Based Peoples Economy"

Asked what the SPEA thought about the possibility of military action committed by foreign interventionists, CPED Nora Firmescu replied

"I know there are some not so good things that are occurring in Bulgislavia at the moment, but I'm not a military or political figure, I'm an economic figure hear to support Bulgislavia's economic system and ensure the economic well being of the Bulgislavian people. I think the international community would do better by supporting the progress that the country is making in ending the civil war and rebuilding our structures and institutions so we can have a return to law, order, safety and security for all Bulgislavian's"

The creation and election of the Supreme Peoples Economic Assembly is a huge political and economic reform for the country and is the second major political construction of a "Peoples Institution" since the formation of the Supreme Peoples Revolutionary Assembly which has since been declared defunct since its seizure by Asimov. The Revolutionary People Power Assembly is expected to be the successor to the fallen SPRA and will form sometime later this year or early next year.

CIVIL WAR, THE END IS IN SIGHT

The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Bulgislavia liberated the large industrial city of Temyenko as the RPA in the surrounding area retreated further west or surrendered to RAFB control.

With the Workers International Coalition quickly liberated SDC and RPA held area's, Chairman of the Provisional Government gave a public statement calling for the immediate surrender of the SDC and RPA.

"I call on all members of the criminal State Defense Committee and soldiers in the Revolutionary Peoples Army to lay down your arms, cease all hostilities immediately and surrender peacefully into allied coalition control. It is now impossible for your criminal regime to turn back from the brink. Let us end this civil war now and truly account for everything that has been lost and hold those to account who are guilty of crimes against the people, human rights atrocities and extreme abuses of power and corruption. Thank you"

A representative for the RAFB stated that it could take up to a month to totally liberate the central and western region of the country and even after the SDC and RPA have been dissolved there is still a danger posed by the illusive terrorist, criminal syndicate known as Shadow Org which the PRIA have stated is their top priority of ridding.

To maintain a strong connection and communication between the people and their leaders a new 'Popular Communication' TV and Radio show has just started up that will speak with high profile Bulgislavian's every week about issues that affect the country as well as to discuss international politics and other events. SPEA TO PURSUE RADICAL LEFTIST COURSE


(The newly elected Peoples Economic Delegates voting on economic legislation)

The first 10 Economic Proposal's have been drawn from the members ballot, now the task of debating, discussing and refining these proposal's before being voted on in 3 months time, when a further 10 economic proposal's will be drawn from the members ballot.

Already the first order of business appears to be quite a leftist agenda, of the 10 economic proposal's that were drawn out, 7 came from either the socialists or communists with the remaining three coming from other economic factions.

The Agenda of the SPEA for the first three months will be to debate the following proposals:

Progressive Tax Law - Proposed by Socialists
The bottom 30% of the country that earn less then 10,400 Urmi a year will be exempt from paying taxes. The base rate tax for earners over 10,400 is 20% and the tax rate increases the more you earn, up to a super tax of 90% for those who earn over 10 million Urmi a year. This tax system would be tough on tax evasion with a frequent and repressive tax investigation program

Maximum Wage - Proposed by Socialist + Communists
This would set the maximum wage in Bulgislavia to be set at 2,000 Urmi a week, or 104,000 Urmi a year, at a tax rate of 45%. This law would directly peg the upper classes to the lower ensuring that they had a vested interest in ensuring the poorer classes did well (If minimum wages rise then so do the maximum wages)

Wealth Cap - Proposed by Communists
The wealth cap would see no individual earn more then 10 Million Urmi a year. Any individual who declares "excess wealth" over 10 Million Urmi per year will see all the excess transferred to a "Communal Fund" and stored in the Peoples Resource Hall for the people to decide on where to allocate the money, usually to where it is most needed in the community

Trade Regulations Reform - Proposed by Peoples Enterprise Union
This proposal would see the Economic Science and Planning division conduct an independent review of Bulgislavia's trade law's and regulations. The Peoples Enterprise Union want to see a "drastic relaxation" in Bulgislavia's suffocating trade regulations and end the autarkic economy into one that is more integrated into the regional and international economy.

Implementation of the Renewable Economy - Proposed by Environmentalist
This would see increased investment in hydro-electric damn projects, wind farms, solar power stations for a renewable and sustainable energy grid. Clean Air Act's for heavily polluted area's, envrionmental taxes on dirty industries and big polluters and tough consequences on companies and industry who disregard "the rights of Mother Nature"

Regulate rents (Nothing higher then 25% of household income) - Proposed by Socialists
This is planned to occur in two stages. The first stage is to reduce and regulate all rents to state houses to be no more then 25% of the household income so struggling families have a chance to get a head. Once these 'social rents' have been implemented in all of Bulgislavia's stock of 6 million state homes it will be be rolled out as a national rent policy where anybody who is renting does not have to pay more then 25% of household income per week and landlords are banned from charging anything high then 25%

Multiple Home Ownership Restriction (No one can own more then two homes) - Proposed by Communists
There are current cases of the oligarchs, elite class and upper classes owning multiple homes, holiday villa's and homes that they rent out. This proposal would target anybody who owned more then two homes. They would be forced to donate any excess houses to the Peoples Resource Hall's as "Free housing" to those who are registered as "In need of shelter". Early estimates state that up to 46,000 homes will be seized and redistributed to the homeless in this way.

Living Wage Act - Proposed by (Peoples Resource Commissioners)
This would establish an absolute minimum wage that guarantee's an adequate standard of living, establishing it at 200 Urmi per week (10,400 Urmi per year) you are exempt from paying taxes if you do not earn up to this amount as the government see's it as a duty and obligation to ensure all citizens can live comfortably with a decent standard of living.

Wealth Investigation Act - Proposed by Communists
This would give new powers to the Bulgislavian Fraud Office to investigate how the upper classes, elite class and oligarchs attained their wealth. It would be quite an invasive process and has many in the wealthier classes upset and anxious, many are already leaving the country. Any one who is found to have attained their wealth through fraudulent or illegal means will be immediately put on trial for economic crimes, given a prison sentence and have a large portion of their wealth seized by the state and redistributed

[b]Wealth Re-distribution Act - Proposed by Communists
This follows on from the Wealth Investigation Act. All resources and finances that are seized will be immediately transferred to a publicly accessible "Common Good Fund" that will be in the Peoples Resource Hall. The population of the community can then decide on how to allocate these funds as part of the wealth re-distribution program that the SPEA will chart in this 5 year term.[/b]

And those will be the 10 economic proposal's that the newly elected SPEA will debate, with votes taking place in 3 months time. A lot of these proposal's have gained strong support in the chamber as many of the delegates are of a leftist persuasion

In a recently relieved working paper, Nora Firmescu outlined several priorities in this term of the SPEA

* Reduce Inequality
* Reduce the number of people below the poverty line
* Reduce homelessness
* Increase social justice, participation and worker empowerment
* integrate the Bulgislavian economy into an alternative socialist world economic paradigm
* Support poor and vulnerable peoples
* Find ways to generate revenue, particularly to support expensive state projects such as the National Resource Distribution Network and to pay the wages of Bulgislavia's 10 million, state sector workers

PROVISA, New Belhavia — In the latest round of an increasing rhetorical barrage against the region's last pair of leftist autocracies, Deputy Foreign Minister for Global Economic Affairs, Mr. Sean Zalleran, blasted new proposed economic policies reported by the Buglislavian state media as "tyrannical" and "human rights violations." Minister Zalleran, the youthful rising star in the Foreign Ministry whose wealthy family owns the corporate giant Zalleran Pharmaceuticals and are well-known Conservative Party fundraisers, asserted that "it's clear to all sensible and intelligent people that the crumbling Communist regime occupying Buglislavia has now proudly made itself known that its committing human rights violations of the highest order." He added, "Not only does this illegal regime enslave prisoners of war, if its slew of proposed bills passes, hard-working entrepreneurs and businessmen would have their enterprises stolen by the government, their property and wealth confiscated, and their assets 'redistributed' by a corrupt political body. This is downright evil."

"Economic liberty is an universal human right - the right to own private property, the right to enjoy the fruits of one's labor, the right to accumulate assets and wealth - these are enshrined in our international capitalist system," he said sneeringly, "It comes to no surprise that the illegitimate regime in Craasi is continually restricting economic rights in the perverse name of 'freedom' - freedom for a corrupt, elite political elite to enrich itself while its workers and citizens starve." Continuing unabated, he went to say that "Theft...thuggery...corruption. These are the crimes of the Craasi autocracy. The sooner this regime is ousted, the faster the peoples of Buglislavia and Strolingrad can enjoy a truly free society and liberated life from the chains of government tyranny."

Zalleran Eying Political Hay With Levantian Dictatorships As A Political Foil, Political Analysts Say

Jeff Burgess, a former rightist Liberal Democrat political consultant, opined that "this is the best way for [Zalleran] to prepare for politics," pausing to add, "He's the scion of one of the wealthiest families in the Empire...[,] ambitious, well-spoken, and an accomplished public servant [from the Foreign Ministry]. Buglislavia and Strolingrad are a pair of convenient pinatas he can rhetorically stump against. They're political props."

Wesley Cutler, the foreign policy blogger for PROVISAINSIDER.com, argued that "[Mr.] Zalleran is using his economic credentials to slam these far left regimes and boost his political profile. He's already being talked about as the next Deputy Minister for Allied Affairs once Jacen Gray vacates it this fall to run for the Senate in Freeport [province]."

One anonymous source, a close confidant of Mr. Zalleran, leaked that "the Communist idiots running Buglislavia make it so easy for [Mr. Zalleran] to slam them...they have a new dictator who's proposed some leftist-green program of unworkable non-sense. Literally, these Levantians are handing us material to use against them on a silver platter. It's astoundingly easy."

Garret Hoffman, a Fellow for Foreign Affairs at the Center for Responsible Media and Government (C.R.M.G.), remarked that the "Craasi regime is signing their own death warrant with this new dictator of economic affairs and her impractical economic policy proposals. It's a tossup on whether German bullets or the crumbling failure of these fringe policy proposals will be the end for leftist Buglislavia."

Lindahl: Communists have won in Bulgislavia, but the diplomatic war is far from over

Emmerian and world leaders watched from the sidelines as a communist revolution tore apart Bulgislavia. As the provisional communist government prepares to wipe out the remains of the loyalists, one thing is clear: a far-left administration is going to take over the country.

Bulgislavia is not a lost cause. Fighting against a successful communist revolution won't be easy—it will take time, it will take money. But our conviction and commitment to the Bulgislavian people should never die out.

World leaders are confused on how to react as they have watched a run-down country enter a path that routinely leads to brutal tyranny in every other case it has been tried. Some leaders have chosen the aggressive route: rhetoric flowing from right-wing Provisa and Berlin has pointed strongly to the potentiality for military intervention in Bulgislavia.

These countries should note that responding to such populist revolutions almost never solve the issue. Military involvement will only bring war to a country riddled by brutal conflict, engagements where people finally found peace. An intervention would last years, it would cost unspeakable trillions, and it would only prolong a conflict that has covered the region for so long.

The local people would not stand for it. Their support is vital to winning a war on their own turf, and judging by Berlin's previous history, it is unlikely an intervention led by the German Empire would seek to win the public's hearts and minds. Consequently, it is unlikely that such an intervention would gain any success, aside from weakening the German Empire.

No matter how much it is considered, military intervention is not a viable option. It would be an aberration in international relations, a hawkish attempt at war where diplomacy could save money and, more importantly, human lives.

The first step in responding to a successful communist revolution is to isolate and quarantine it. As I have written before, communism is inherently tied to its virus-like nature: if a communist revolution overtakes a government, surrounding countries are at high risk for similar revolutions. Now that one has succeeded in Bulgislavia, every one of its neighbors—Strolingrad, Sozopol, Tashtagol, Stavropol, Mykola, and Fredericksland—is in danger.

The revolutions are already spreading in central Levantia—first in Strolingrad, and then Bulgislavia. Communism will only accelerate until an effective strategy is used to fight it; military intervention in the fashion proposed by Berlin will only provide incentive for locals to fight alongside communist revolutionaries to defend their countries. Berlin's plan would extradite its spread.

The key to preventing further communist revolutions is to improve the economic condition in surrounding countries to remove the motivation for people to revolt. If the economy is strong, the people will have no desire to support a communist revolution. Countries concerned about the spread of the communist revolts in Levantia should promote investment in companies headquartered around Bulgislavia, thereby aiding in improving their economies and fueling a counter-communist strategy.

The next leg to a successful diplomatic anti-communist strategy is long-term information campaigns aimed at raising awareness in Bulgislavia of the advantages and liberties they would enjoy outside the framework of the current communistic system being installed. Allow the people themselves to call for freedom. Once clear opposition NGOs begin to stand out, then provide them support—funding, access to information, and, most of all, knowledge to help their cause.

As successful democratic revolutions have proven, information and the ability to disseminate the information effectively through technology are vital in the progression of liberty in areas covered with tyranny. Democratic countries should provide opposition groups with knowledge on how to utilize technology to effectively organize, operate, and succeed in a democratic rebellion.

The United Republic helped prove this power through its annual Youth Technology for Democracy (YTD) summit held in Chaleur's International Business Center. Individuals who attended the conference learned how to become leaders and use their skills in technology of the modern world—social media, information sharing, the whole deal—to advance their cause massively.

Attendees of the 2012 YTD summit are suspected of having played a part in the uprisings in Titianicia earlier this year. One rebel spokesman told foreign news networks: "No native Titianicians were part of that [YTD summit], but we do have individuals within our ranks who attended. Their expertise in utilizing technology to promote our resolve has fostered much more prominence and success than what we would otherwise expect. We are making noise and, thanks to what these people learned, the rest of the world is hearing it."

If such a powerful information campaign was nearly successful in one of the most oppressive and censored countries on the planet, it is difficult to imagine why it would not succeed in Bulgislavia. The world's anti-communist powers must unite in this cause to bring power to the people of Bulgislavia, and not through war.

The people stood up for their rights in an oppressive Bulgislavia, and they have won. Why should we keep them from succeeding? This isn't the Cold War anymore, and we shouldn't be focused on supporting more fascists just because they don't like some stupid ideology.

SPECIAL EDITION - BULGISLAVIAN MEDIA COLLECTIVE


(The workplace seizures in early 2012 also saw Journalists form collectives and occupy their work places, which contributed to a large drop in influence for the state controlled Voice of the People news paper)

After an extraordinary convergence session was held at the Craasi National Peoples Stadium made up of the nations various journalist associations and media syndicates (including the state run news paper the "Voice of the People") several unprecedented Media Resolutions were passed.

Bulgislavian media collective alliance resolution

Most Journalists and Media workers in Bulgislavia belong to various associations to ensure working rights and the power and role of the media in the country. These independent associations have formed an alliance called the Media Collective which currently represents the views of Bulgislavia's media workers in the SPEA, through the Association of Independent Workers. The newly passed Media Collective Alliance Resolution was a pledge that the media establishment would stand together in any event where press freedoms were endangered and stated that they have the power under this alliance to initiate strikes and that the workers of the Media Collective have the right to strike in solidarity with other social causes.

Independence of Media Resolution

This resolution passed with a resounding majority and called for all media network to protect their freedom and independence and the security and privacy of their sources. Any infringement on the freedoms of a persecuted media syndicate could lead to a Media Collective strike against the organization responsible for the erosion of this freedom

Resolution of the affirmation of the freedom of thought, opinion, speech and demonstration

If any of these rights are impinged upon in the post crisis Bulgislavia the Media Collective vow to defend these rights using collective action.

Media syndicate, collective, organization etc can not incite violence or promote hatred

While many protested at this resolution citing freedom of speech and that it conflicted with the last resolution, it narrowly passed.

The Great Peoples Enlightenment Revolution which kicked off in late 2011 saw a massive proliferation in the number of independent media sources. During the height of the workplace seizures in early 2012 the state media establishment lost hundreds of offices and facilities as Media Co-op's took them over and declared them independent media sources, all the while Radu Suslov's Popular Front government cheered the movement on as a "Manifestation of worker empowerment and greater democracy". Most of them took on a very investigative journalist approach to their ethics, as a result this sector of the media establishment releases a new scandal or hidden injustice every day and has so far led to the resignation of up to 960 corrupt officials throughout the last 12 months.

"Since 2012 the journalists of this country retook the media establishment from the subversive control of government and from the subversive control of the elite agenda setters. We decided in 2012 that the media would aim to expose these regressive, control freak, individuals" spoke Tara Imarku who was a recently elected Peoples Economic Delegate in the Association of Independent Workers bloc........

FORMER PRESIDENT RADU SUSLOVS SPEAKS

The man seen as the architect of the Revolutionary Republic spoke in public for the first time since his resignation and imprisonment at the beginning of the year on the new interview show Popular Communication

During the interview Radu spoke on a range of topics from his thoughts on New Belhavia, Prussia and Mediciano, to confirming rumors that he was romanitcally linked with charismatic Justice Assembly up and comer Athena Rianu.

"You can lay all the rumors to rest, I am with Radu Suslov" messaged Athena Rianu on her Consos social network profile page.

Athena Rianu has in recent months grown a large profile as a leading member of the grass roots "Social Justice Front" movement which is seeking support in soon to be planned Justice Assembly elections. As well as that she is also a member of the working group for vulnerable people, working closely with the Provisional Government in finding solutions to the refugee crisis.

This revelation has drawn quite a bit of interest in Bulgislavia as Athena's critics claim she gained her influence because of her close connection with the imprisoned former leader of Bulgislavia Radu Suslov.

It was feared early on that the Peoples Resistance Movement was up against a genocidal state.

"Boris Asimov was an overly ambitious, psychopath and when Radu Suslov resigned the position of Supreme Representative went to his deputy which was Boris Asimov...... Within a month Boris Asimov has visions of a genocidal Asimovist state, he created the fanatical mobilization brigades which are tearing up SDC controlled territory as we speak" said Igor Rukesku when the discovery of mass graves cam to his attention

The citizens from the newly liberated cities claim that for the last several months the Mobilization Brigades have been rampaging, even the SDC and RPA had trouble controlling them. The citizens claim the Asimovist Brigades are the worst offender of human rights violations. Igor Rukesku appeared live on TV an hour after the revelation was made public to declare...

"We will investigate this troubling matter immediately, identify all the victims and give them proper burials and give the family closure. Who ever is responsible for these atrocities will be captured and held to account. The Provisional Government and the Peoples Resistance Movement find these actions completely reprehensible and disgusting. This shows us just how imperative it is that we destroy the Asimovist genocidal state as quickly as possible"

A march was held in downtown Berezin yesterday by workers belonging to the radical Revolutionary Workers Front trade union.

"The Talmann Industries Peoples Enterprise has a monopoly of all political and economic power within the Berezin Polity. We can not stand for this injustice, we must re balance this immediately" stated RWF Berezin Chief Delegate Ludmilla Uvenk

Up to 16,000 employee's at a Talmann Industry owned textile factory walked out of the job to join the demonstration. Other Talmann Industry factories saw their workers begin an occupation and formed a Workers Council and is currently drafting a "Workplace constitution"

The Communists and Socialist's supported the movement while the Peoples Enterprise Union was particularly opposed to the action

Nora Firmescu added in her own statement that "The workers have the full power in Bulgislavia and our economic system is in their hands, they are after all, the people operating it"

Public Outrage over Leaks

Helven-Federal Republic of Geanna; Just days after the successful assassination of the newly elected Prime Minister, the Red Hand released a series of documents that were believed to be classified by the PDF [Pravene Defense Force]. Documents of which, have sparked a massive public outcry. The documents that were released came with a video that was posted on a social media site. The Red Hand who has taken sole responsibility for the assassination and follow up attacks in atleast 11 car bombings around the country, gave the PDF and the Pravene Commonwealth their ''ultimatum'' the organisation said.

Alexandrios Minayev who has been identified by authorities as the leader of the organisation, was seen on the video listing grievances and why they [Red Hand] fight. Many of the points listed were directed at the 1970-1976 Geannese Conflict, in which Pravene forces slammed a growing rebellion. One of which has sparked a major national outcry, in 1975, five years into the civil war that cost hundreds of thousands of lives, several incidents occurred that were largely blamed on the rebellion. The Gashing Massacre as it became known, was a massive chemical attack on a small town, which killed over eight hundred people.

For years since, the attack was blamed on the rebellion, however the documents released by that of the Red Hand, showed detailed reports of a bombing strike using a chemical weapon known commonly as VX, another chemical claimed to have been used was White Phosphorus [Commonly known as Willy Pete]. Both of which were identified during the original publicized reports in the investigations of the attack and massacre. The documents claimed that PDF utilized the two weapons to provide a 'fear' factor and usher in a quicker defeat. Another 23 incidents previously blamed on the rebellion, displayed incidents where these weapons were used by PDF from 1975-1976.

The reports are detailed down to the aircraft, the make of the weapons, and the mapping and choice of targets all of which coincide with what occurred in the year prior to the official surrender of rebellion forces. A total of 2,651 deaths, those mostly of civilian and rebellion casualties were listed as a result of the attacks ranging from bombing raids to rocket attacks, 12 deaths were listed of PDF due to attacks in friendly fire engagements. Most of the deaths were documented for effectiveness, but to avoid public knowledge most of the bodies were buried in several mass graves that were left unmarked.

The Geannese public has been utterly shocked and disgusted by the leak, which has caused as of today waves of violence in several different cities nationwide. PDF and Military Police have started to dawn riot gear, as thousands have taken to the streets, calling for vengeance on PDF. The Red Hand had also during the video publicly ''Declared War'' on the PDF ensuring that the Red Hand would ''crush'' both the current Geannese government and the PDF in the country.
