Anarchist Terrorist Group Safe House Raided. 35 Suspects Arrested, 2 dead.
June 17, 2013

During the late afternoon, a south side suburb town to Franklin City was disturbed by both gunfire and one of the biggest raids in recent history of the city. A local condo was raided around 6pm local time in which gunshots rang out and many suspects arrested. The Investigative Services (IS) raided the condo once evidence proved of unlawful behaviors and threat of national security. A Tactical Assault Team raided the condo in the late afternoon, arresting over thirty five suspects and killing two after they brandished assault weapons. The scene is still locked down late into the night and morning hours collecting evidence and other intelligence. This story, along with TECT's involvement in the New Edomite war against Damoclea, has been highlighted in recent weeks as TECT's recent renewed effort in targeting communist and anarchist terrorist like organizations.

Image
(A TAT unit breaking into the rear of the condo building in Henderson township, a suburb to Franklin City.)
The suspects, who were identified as a terrorist splinter cell of an anarchist extremist group, were said to be plotting a mass riot and terrorist attacks in Franklin City. The group was detected by the ISA (Imperial Security Agency) and other agencies over the last few months. The group of thirty seven men are said to be part of the anarchist group 'Anarchist Against the Empire', an up an coming group within TECT that has turned more extremist in recent months. The suspects were using a front group to hide from federal authorities; this fake group was called 'The Anarchist Gathering for Change', a peaceful group bent on spreading their ideology. The raid happened around 6pm local time by TAT units who were forced to act early because of a suspect attempting to leave the condo complex early. Once entering, the teams were forced to shoot two suspects who pulled weapons on the officers even though they were blinded and stunned with gas and stun grenades. No officers were harmed and the suspects are in a undisclosed location pending further investigation and trial. The justice system in this case is handled by federal systems because of the involvement of national security in the matter. It is still not known who the suspects are or other details on the case.

In recent months, TECT has began renewed efforts in fighting extremists groups inside the country and abroad. Far left political groups such as communist and anarchist have been identified as becoming more and more violent and threatening over the last year. Such groups like the AAE have began popping up all over the country but has especially rose up in colonies and colonial states not part of the Homeland. Although the AAE is just a protest group that has turned violent in the past few months, more and more groups within these organizations have began growing more violent. Plots of terrorist attacks, attempts to cause mass riots, and communist marches have been some of the more recent activities of these groups. The AAE has already came out in support of their members who were arrested and the two who were killed claiming, "The Empire has illegally arrested and murdered two of our brothers! This country is corrupted, has been corrupted, and it inspires to enslave all of us! Rise up fellow citizens! Reclaim your rights!" The statement also went into further rhetoric coming short of insulting the Royal Family, a serious offense to social norms and potentially against the law. The organization has also released plans to hold a "Grand March" in Franklin City on Wednesday to protest the arrests and deaths. Fellow leftist groups and communist groups have came in support so far of the AAE and plan to join the march -- the march of course is suspected to be an excuse to hold a riot.

The condo complex was said to be partially rundown because of the landlord, the suspects were said to have separately bought each condo in the building and recruited the landowner with bribes to allow for modifications to the building and to ignore the coming and goings inside the building. He too has been arrested for his part in the illegal activities. The condo has so far been confirmed to have be modified with escape holes, fake floors, weapons caches, and a safe house for their actions and other friendly groups/organizations. The building is still locked down to civilians and the suspects taken into secretive custody for the time being.

Anarchist, Leftists, Communists, and Other Hold Protest Riot.
June 25, 2013

'Anarchist Against the Empire' carried out their threat this week by hosting a mass protest that turned quickly into a riot throughout Monday, now stretching into Tuesday early morning. AAE, hosting numerous groups all over the leftist spectrum including fellow anarchists, lead the way during their "Grand March" in Franklin City; the march began around a southern suburb and continued north heading towards the state capital building. It was halted by a wall of riot police (RP, Riot Police force) who shut off many routes and surrounded the protesters into a small section of the city. The crowed is estimated to be in the hundreds almost and to be armed with illegal or makeshift weapons like sticks and Molotov cocktails. The protest was retaliation by AAE for the recent raid on a condo complex where fellow members were arrested and two were killed. The arrested made their appearances in federal court during hearings for their roles in numerous charges including terrorist activity and possession of illegally acquired & modified weapons. The condo landlord also made his appearance in court for aiding and harboring terrorists -- along with other crimes.

Image
(Anarchist protesters lining up to hold back RP pushes and harass officers.)
The protest started early Monday morning and made its way north through a suburb and finally through part of the city. The entire time, police kept close eye over the march and decided to hold the protesters a few miles from the state capital building when the protesters became more violent. The protesters, now rioters, charged the riot police in anger and were met by shields and batons. Water cannons and RP's kept the rioters at bay as sections of the city were closed off and evacuated as looters began to raid local shops. Throughout the day, rock and Molotov cocktails were flung at police; sub-munition, water cannons, and tear gas was used to force back violent rioters while arresting as many as possible. Rioters also made attempts to assault walled police shields in attempts to break through and make it to the capital building. By late Monday night, police surrounded the rioters into several blocks in the city and have already began clearing the makeshift camps set up by protesters. Horse mounted RP and foot RP made assaults and are continuing their offensive into the early morning hours of Tuesday in attempts to clear out the occupied streets and arrest the law breaking rioters. Police chief of Franklin City, Daniel Shorts, stated that quote, "The rioters have been contained and we are making great effort to handling these anarchist extremists. We have already arrested over seventy people and we expect to arrest at least two hundred more by time this riot is over. This riot is actually smaller then estimates made out it would be and our preparation for the worst cases have proven successful in handling these extremist scum."

The riot is now estimated to be in the hundreds and is expected to be contained within a day or two. AAE members make up a large chunk of arrested so far and many of the group's leadership have also been arrested. It is unconfirmed how many of the protesters have been injured but police say several of their officers have been injured by physical forces, burns, and chemical related injuries. One officer especially has been severely injured after being directly hit by a homemade Molotov cocktail; he is undergoing treatment in the burn unit of God's Mercy Hospital in downtown Franklin City. The mayor has requested something be done about the issue facing their city and the state, demanding something be done and those responsible for harming officers be punished. President Hoover has already ordered warrants for many of the groups members who are involved and has come out condemning the protest turned riot, calling it "Peaceful protest turned to ravage looting and rioting." Hoover is also looking in to other ways to countering the communist and anarchist groups around the country and in Franklin State.

The condo that was the scene of a violent raid on AAE members gone extremist revealed new evidence and information into the world of extremist leftists including anarchist groups and communist socialists. Federal authorities refused to reveal to much but did describe some details into the condo raid & investigation. In a release, IS authorities came out and described the house and some of the information they retrieved from the investigation. "After investigation into the group, the condo building, and the people living in the condo, the Investigation Services have completed much of their investigation into the condo splinter group. After hours of searching the building, IS agents discovered illegal weapons, illegally modified weapons, drugs, records of activities, and money stashes hidden throughout the houses in multiple locations and fashions. Links to foreign anarchist/terror groups were also discovered inside the condo. One noted connection with foreign terrorist organizations included members of 'The Anarchist Commune of New Edom' and another anarchist group in Belisaria. Further investigation is being carried out and prosecution for these members and their groups is underway; action is also being carried out against other multiple groups."

Silvio Duarte espionage trial begins!

Postby Free Garza » Wed Jun 26, 2013 10:07 am

Free Garza City Matador,
Lisa Benitez, Senior Editor

The espionage trial of accused New Othmanian and Deadoran mole Silvio Duarte has begun, but it is already apparent that he will have a hard time finding a sympathetic jury, due to press and media coverage that presents the charges against him as facts rather than allegations. The President has also pointedly refused to pardon Duarte, as she believes that "he is charged with very serious crimes against the People, the Revolution, and the Republic. These charges must be heard and the due process of law must take its course."

Duarte has apparently placed some hope in a plea bargain or an exchange of spies with New Othman, but so far, no such relief has been offered him. The trial, which has begun today, could conceivably last six months to a year in extreme cases, and if convicted, he faces death, either by garroting or by firing squad. His last hope in such a case would be a presidential commutation of his sentence to life imprisonment, but such an event is highly improbable, as President Ruiz is reportedly furious that a mole has been working for so long undetected in the councils of government, holding no less a portfolio as the Ministry of War.

Duarte's alleged motives are unclear, given the disparate identities of his alleged handlers, but many suspect him of long-held Fascist sympathies, which is about the only thing that Deadora and New Othman hold in common, in spite of the distinctions between forms of Fascism. It is unlikely, of course, Duarte found the Deadoran brand especially appealing, however, given its views on men. That may well, if he did this, have been a smokescreen for his real handlers, that creating a sort of triple cross. It is more probable that he was mainly an agent of New Othman, seeking to establish a Fascist Garza in place of the current system of New Socialism.

Whatever his motives, this writer hopes that he chooses a firing squad, and wishes to volunteer for that squad if possible. The man is a traitor to Free Garza and everything it stands for and must be made to answer for his crimes, for his treason.

King Maximian II calls for new Damoclean gov't.

Postby Gavinium Magnus » Wed Jun 26, 2013 10:37 am

Cedric Samhain, Staff Writer, Gavinium City Weekly

King Maximian II has called for a "new government of Damoclea, one committed to principles of justice, human rights, human dignity, the rule of law, personal freedom, though we are aware that political liberty may be far off, based on the disorganized nature of Damoclean society, and non-aggression toward other nations. The Communist regime in Damoclea is not only totalitarian and tyrannical, it is also ineffective in handling the real national problems, preferring to focus on external policy at a time when domestic policy should be its focus."

He also urged "real internal reforms in Deadora, a country that trades on its oppression of more than half of its population, sowing a harvest of malice that it will surely reap in due season. Both the men and the other minorities of Deadora together constitute a majority of its populace, and the matriarchal tyrants there would do well to remember that. They have already committed aggression against Gavinium Magnus, and while we have signed a truce, we are not going to forget that fact. They are why we need such allies as New Edom and the Empire of Common Territories, and they are why we need to seek closer ties to the Protectorate of Nalaya, to be perfectly frank.

"Incidentally, I have offered the use of certain supplies, especially those of a medical and nutritional nature, to the armed forces of New Edom and Common Territories, to serve for rations for their troops, and I also wish it clear that any Gavinian civilians who wish to volunteer for temporary military service in either armed forces during this conflict to help put down these Damoclean Communist thugs once and for all will not be regarded as disloyal to the Crown, as both nations are allied to Gavinium Magnus."

In a related story, the Royal Bank of Gavinium Magnus has formally declared its willingness to invest some 15,000,000 credits in micro-loans to New Edomite businesses devastated by the Damoclean terrorist attacks last month. It is part of a long-term plan to "better integrate our economy with those of our friends and allies, as well as show humanitarian interest in the future reconstruction of this region. We are making progress on our own post-war recovery, though of course it needs further advances. We wish to see New Edom rise as Gavinium Magnus will, like a phoenix from its ashes."

So far, no New Edomite officials were available for comment as of this article.

Prince Diego of Garza speaks out!

Postby Free Garza » Mon Jul 08, 2013 2:55 am

Lisa Benetiz, Senior Staff Editor of the Free Garza City Matador.

The Infante Don Diego Alejandro Luis Felipe Rodrigo del Cruz de Garza, traditional heir to the now defunct throne of Free Garza, has broken his lifelong silence on several matters of consequence, as part of his announcement that he yesterday sold his video arcade El Gato to the workers' syndicate there, accepting the public incentives offered by the government to sell to the co-operative.

In his speech, he laid out a "Grand Manifesto for the Future of Garza and Its People," consisting of the following proposals:

1. Continued and permanent existence of the co-operative sector of the economy, composed of the workers' syndicates, which generally dominates up to 58% of the economy through the National Congress of Labor and Agrarian Syndicates. More than 77% of that sector is composed of rural co-operatives, however. Syndicalism has worked very well, the Prince noted, in certain niche industries and in agriculture, but "has its limits in other components of industry."

2. A so-called "economic firewall" of private firms, albeit with the restraining hand of national trade unions and government regulations, to prevent economic stagnation and other industrial weaknesses. This would be, in essence, the 32% of the economy that is in private or corporate hands, and would be increased in size by encouraging foreign capital investment in the Garzan private sector.

3. Continued improvements in the organization and management of the public sector of the economy, which constitutes some 10% of the economy. This would include initiatives to reduce corruption, enhance efficiency, and limit government waste in many social services.

"Having been in the real economy, I know what it's actually like to do business, unlike most other royals. The solutions that I propose are based upon that experience, not some pretty and ineffectual theories."

4. A National Joint-Enterprise Policy, which would essentially charter "co-operation and joint-ventures between foreign and domestic corporations, thus benefiting both the public and private sectors in the process."

5. Easing or lifting restrictions on private charitable foundations, so as to encourage and permit religious charities to "fill the void left by the limitations of the State."

6. Improved relations with such neighbors as Tartarus and New Edom, "recognizing that whatever differences we might have with them, they are our neighbors and we must all prosper or all fail."

7. Restoration of the monarchy, with himself as King, but "on more liberal and constitutional principles than before."

8. A stronger national police force with better funding and an augmented military establishment.

While I am perhaps a bit jaded about the royals, it was nice to see proof that they have more than their share of basic decency. A monarchy headed by Diego would be a vast benefit to the whole country, as opposed to many other princes.

Victory in Damoclea!

Image
by Annabelle Barca

BORDER TERRITORY, Damoclea-- From the Damoclea-Lyscanian border to Proletarian City, the Damoclean armed forces have surrendered to the allied forces of New Edom, Arbites Imperium, the Kingdom of McNernia and Malacanos.

The former People's Republic of Damoclea had attacked New Edom with suicide bombers in explosive packed planes, had invaded Lyscania, had suppressed political parties and drowned Damoclea in an orgy of rape and bloodshed, and threatened the civilized nations of Cornellia and Pythonia with Anarchist terrorism.

In spite of this, with great courage, strategy and daring, in a multi-pronged attack to relieve Lyscania and to invade Damoclea to oust the criminal communist regime, forces from New Edom and McNernia arrived to help Lyscanian forces which had fought, outnumbered and outgunned yet valiantly defiant against the Damoclean hordes which poured across the border to loot, rape and murder. New Edomite and McNernian paratroopers landed successfully both in the Delphic Hills and at the city of Terpsichore, liberating these areas and preparing their forces to move on to Damoclea.

At the same time, marine landings by Arbites Imperium, McNernia and New Edom enabled the invasion of Damoclea from the south and east, while Malacanoi forces invaded from the north, tearing the defiant blood stained Communist regime into three parts which could not stand. Soldiers ill used and ill trained by the Communist regime mutined and refused to be used in suicide wave attacks in spite of the commissars' best attempts at propaganda and threats.

Now, the Allied armies, navies and air forces have captured Terpsichore in Lyscania from enemy hands, have received the surrender of Xanthises, Posidonis, and Proletarian City. The grand strategy created by General Perrin Pahath-Moab and carried out by General Adam Nicanor has succeeded beyond the wildest expectations, and every man and woman of the fleets and armies has done his or her part. All look to the future to see two freed nations rebuild and grow stronger, and all allies breath a sigh of relief to see a harbour of terrorism defeated.

Experiencing More Daymares
After watching the news I heard what sounded like a great multitude of channels, saying "Alleluia! Salvation, glory, and might belong to our nation, for true and just are our judgments. We have condemned the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her harlotry."

Harlots! That made me half pinch open one eye.

Seething political and cultural zealots love to show lots of cleav,.., er,, footage of whatever they disapprove of.

But even benign and prosaic content can become fiendishly alien and perverse in the latex gloved hand - revealing the forbidden mirror of their desire.

Like all those humiliated television preachers who constantly raved about sins of the flesh, the evil of drugs, the scourge of homosexuals and saw perversity in children's television shows and indecency in newspaper comic strips - a war between good and evil, right and wrong, morality and what they ended up getting caught for.

So, take your free fetish porn where you can get it - If you're not supposed to like it, complain and campaign incessantly about it.

When you look into the crack of the abyss; the crack also looks back into you.

Anyway and of course it is also just one more entry in our apocalyptic line up.

Draconian/Roman Joint-Action Plan for Molicova

Postby Exalted Draconia » Sun Jul 28, 2013 8:36 am

After a quick conference at the Roman/Draconian border between Emperor Valerian II and General Stavros Demetriades, respective heads of state of the Empire and Exalted Draconia, a Joint-Action Plan, per the Cornellian Peace Organization, has been laid out for Molicova.

1. A Roman donation from the Great Cereals and Mills Corporation, private firm with a staggering 18 trillion solidi in profits last year, will contribute some 4,000,000 modii of surplus barley bread to help feed the victims of the Molicovan famine. The Roman State will distribute this bread indirectly through the Cornellian Peace Organization, and it will be airlifted directly into the famine-ravaged nation. The National Fisheries Commission of Draconia will distribute 1,000,000 cans of Draconian tuna donated to it by Draconian fishermen as well, to avoid malnutrition from lack of protein.
2. The Draconian Guard has been called up again, with its usual mix of Romans and Draconian volunteers, presumably many of them the same exact men who served last year in New Edom. The force will be commanded by Aulus Metellus, a former centurion and war hero awarded a commission on the advice of military historian and famous fellow war hero Servius Ahenobarbus. Metellus will hold the post of prefect of the Guard.
3. The Imperial Relief Office and the National Relief Agency of the Empire and Draconia will both open offices in Molicova, if the junta there approves, to help put humanitarian volunteers on the ground to deal with the crisis. Some 15,000 volunteers from both nations, mostly young adults, are expected to join the cooperative mission. Draconians are to compose two-thirds of the volunteers, Romans one-third.
4. The Empire has offered a loan of 800,000,000 solidi to the Molicovan junta to help cope with this crisis, at no interest, in order to help it purchase more food abroad for its people. Draconia will donate 200,000,000 solidi.

In the words of Draconian Generalissimo Stavros Demetriades, "Whatever the differences or politics, one fact is paramount. People are suffering and dying from hunger. What sort of person, indeed what sort of nation, simply stands by and allows his fellow man to starve?"

It is naturally hoped that this Joint-Action Plan will alleviate the famine in Molicova and keep untold millions alive who might otherwise perish and cross the Styx far too soon.

This has been a radio news bulletin of the All-Union News Corporation of Exalted Draconia. I am Mikis Heraklios. Thank you for listening.

Extremist Attack Sparks Return of Religious Warfare

KHN'DZORESK, Nalaya - Already a source of contention in the extreme wings of Nalaya's largest faiths, the meeting between heads of the Eastern Orthodox, Muslim, Voghjuyn, and 'Azhįt designed to work on mediating the problems of conflict between believers was disrupted by a sudden and violent detonation earlier this morning. Estimates put the total power of the explosives used as roughly equivalent to more than 2,000 kilograms of TNT. The blast destroyed or severely damaged buildings within a 16 block radius and the death toll is estimated at well over a hundred people, with numbers of wounded already well over 400 and climbing. The military has responded en masse, Ajakts'yuk'un and Banak both trying to deal with the scene and police the city. The religious leaders, virtually all of them among the few moderate voices in the current climate, are presumed dead with their proximity to the seat of the blast. Most notably this means the death of Yatharil Vendes Nasadra, the lone moderate voice among the Yath.

A statement was released anonymously, explaining the motivations behind the attack. "There can be no compromise in the face of heresy and evil," it concluded, failing to reveal which sect might have been responsible for the bombing. The response has been a staggering level of violence erupting in border regions, particularly between the Eastern Orthodox Arusai, Muslim Vatani, and 'Azhįt Mak'ur. Rumors of an impending jihad and possibly even a Mak'ur lle'isgar against neighboring territories have begun to circulate. Certainly, Dyvynasshar and In Salah have both become epicenters of religious riots as the faithful are whipped up into a frenzy by zealots.

Despite the efforts of the Avangardn, including mobilization of troops to particularly troubled areas and deployment of the Unkndirnei, the situation is rapidly escalating. The Sulhanate has already made a plan to appeal to the involved groups but many in Sevan remain highly skeptical that their efforts will be even moderately successful. The government is expected to issue a statement this evening, though they have already acknowledged that the situation in the Vatani Dominion and the Mak'ur Homeland warrants a full police action and imposition of martial law.

However, whatever happens next, one thing that can be said with certainty is that this incident marks the end of the peace created by the Accords.
Do you know, my son, with what little understanding the world is ruled?

Violence in Nalaya! Famine in Molicova!

Postby New Macureus » Mon Jul 29, 2013 6:19 pm

New Macureus City Probe,
Kerar Kadin

The recent happenings in Acheron show us once more what a truly ravaged continent we share with other nations in this region. Between the rebellion and famine in Molicova and the recent sectarian violence in Nalaya, along with the Anarchist revolt and terrorism in New Edom, as well as border incidents involving tribal cultures in Edom, Nalaya, and Deadora, it is reasonably safe to say that this continent is the boil on the regional body that has yet to be fully lanced. The recent Nazi uprising in Gavinium Magnus has demonstrated that as well, though thankfully that was resolved with relative ease.

What has happened with the Gay Re-education Centers has somehow distracted outsiders from the real problems that this continent, indeed this region, faces. While the centers are not exactly a sign of progress, science, or reason, they are hardly more harmful than death camps, gulags, rape, plunder, ethnic cleansing, terrorism, assassinations, and religious wars. What must be done, then? Take action against the real problems on this continent, and let the gay centers take care of themselves.

To that end, I call for a deluge of humanitarian aid to the people of Molicova, as well as CPO peacekeepers in Nalaya, if they are called for, and financial assistance to both nations, as well as continued aid and relief missions to New Edom. Perhaps even Dengali could still use a shot in the arm, at the risk of using inappropriate puns. This paper believes that the State needs to step up and expand its new role as a philanthropist as part of the CPO, and to that end, I call upon General Melin to commit himself to an aid package of 30 million standard dollars to Molicova. I have every confidence that the Supreme Commander will listen to reason.

After all, this is a reasonable country, is it not? That is the point to New Macureus, or so I've always believed.

Grand Coven lifts Damoclean sanctions!

Postby Macureus » Tue Jul 30, 2013 8:30 am

Arod Chronicle,
Stefa Macan reporting

It was only a matter of time, after the coalition led by the Allied States of New Edom defeated the rogue Communist nation called Damoclea, that sanctions were lifted, and they have been today, after days of consultation by the Grand Coven.

Magistra Daniela Lavon made the announcement, stating that, "With the government and nation of Damoclea now in the hands of sane leadership again, it is no danger to all of us to remove the sanctions and the embargo that were imposed by order of this Coven, and the Oracles have confirmed as much. We congratulate the armed coalition forces on their victory and we hope that the nation of Damoclea may achieve peace and prosperity as well as law, order, and progress. They are far more from a civilized nation, of course, but they will do much better under Allied occupation than under bleak, atheistic Communism. It is the lack of any concept of deity and the lack of any morality which has guided their former government down this road and brought this war and occupation, but now that the war is over, the embargo is no longer necessary. We wish both the Allies and the Damocleans the best of luck in the name of the Faith."

The lifting of the economic sanctions means that food aid can be delivered, that Macurean goods and services can be sold to Damoclean markets, and that Macurean capital can be invested in the Damoclean economy. The Grand Coven is apparently relieved not to be required to enforce the embargo anymore.

To quote one source inside the Coven, who asked not to be named, "Customs has better things to do than look for goods bound for Damoclea."

Stefa Macan, reporting for the Arod Chronicle.

4,000 Volunteers for Molicova!

Postby New Macureus » Tue Jul 30, 2013 8:52 am

New Macureus City Examiner
Itar Sarin

Recent violence and famine in Molicova have resulted in an announcement by First Commissar Amar Padin that 4,000 humanitarian volunteers and 30 million standard dollars were to be dispatched posthaste to the devastated Cornellian nation. A key source inside the government said that "we must deal with the harsh reality that the CPO and humanitarian aid may be the only things preventing Molicova from descending into Arcologian-style chaos. The last thing that this continent, this region need is an Arcologia right here in Acheron. We have bad enough problems on this continent as it is."

This decision may well be New Macureus's first real test of its new policy of humanitarian relief missions, part of the foreign policy corollary to the Reorganizing Initiative. It remains to be seen how effective it will prove to be, but there is much hope that New Macurean assistance will help move Molicova back from the abyss.

The previous regime, the Logical Council, would have simply imposed a "protectorate" by force and attempted to establish a similar form of government in Molicova. That General Melin has not apparently taken this route is seen by many as a sign that the old days of "scientific imperialism" are possibly over. Melin has already backed down from internal sources that hinted at possible New Macurean "protection" of New Edom and Nalaya over the course of this past year, as well as a one-time Logical Council push for New Macurean protection of New Edom toward the end of their second civil war.

Perhaps the maxim is true that civilians are more eager to use force, because they haven't seen it close at hand. If so, it may well be the best thing for everyone that we now have a soldier at the helm of the ship of state.

Grand Council denounces Raltirian Denethier!

Postby New Othman » Thu Aug 01, 2013 9:02 am

New Ankara Citizen-
Written by: Recep Ciller

The Grand Council of the Fascist Party approved today a firmly worded resolution denouncing the "warmongering, saber-rattling, pious sermonizing, and frankly unhelpful meddling by Raltirian Denethier, which threatens to disrupt regional trade and travel, to escalate well beyond merely said nation and its dispute with New Edom, sucking in many other nations, such as Nalaya, Shrailleen, and, of course, the Late Roman Empire. This, in turn, is likely to expand to become a region-wide conflict, engulfing even more nations. If Arbites or Adiron are sucked into this dispute, and it turns violent, nearly the whole region could be mobilized. It will be even worse if Gavinium Magnus is involved, which it might well, because that would drag in the Empire of Common Territories, which has a colonial state in this region. Suffice it to say that Denethier's time could not be worse for picking a fight."

"All that is left is for the embargo to become a blockade, and that could well happen if Denethier doesn't stop provoking New Edom, because New Edom is likely to antagonize Denethier in turn. New Othman will not permit a blockade, as it happens, since that would disrupt the traffic of goods that we import from New Edom and the goods that we export to them. We are not allies of New Edom, but we are trading partners, and we will fight if necessary to protect our economic interests and the prosperity of our nation."

"It is the considered opinion of this Council that the sanctimonious platitudes of the Supreme Counselor are no substitute for bread and meat on the tables of those who would suffer from rationing, no solace for the empty chairs at said tables from kindred slain in war, and no solution to the psychological stress and trauma endured by those who are scarred by memories of battle. We strongly admonish the Supreme Counselor to take steps back from the abyss and reconsider his position. He risks, potentially, war against an entire region of nations. That is not what any reasonable leader would deem an enviable position at all."

Reading between the lines here is not necessary. It is evident to this writer that the Grand Council is reproving the Supreme Counselor for his insistence on escalating tensions with New Edom and risking a regional conflict that could make the Great War look like small potatoes. Going against an entire region would be worse than folly, it would be insanity. Raltirian Denethier, as many an old man has said to many youth in the past, stay off our lawn!

Massive privatization begun!

Postby New Macureus » Fri Aug 02, 2013 10:17 am

New Macureus City Dispatch
Alar Darin, Staff Writer

After initial, more modest steps toward economic and social reform, including relaxation of psych review practices that many New Macureans have long dreaded in our past, the First Commissar, Amar Padin, today announced that a significant part of the economy is to be privatized over the next five years. Central planning by the State is be greatly reduced, as is regulation. Foreign competition is to be encouraged even more than it has been lately.

In a significant move toward free trade, the following nations have been authorized to operate public and private shops, offices, factories, and storefronts in New Macureus:

1. The Reformed Theocracy of Macureus.
2. The Allied States of New Edom.
3. The Federal Democratic Republic of United Valik.
4. The Democratic Republic of Morskova.
5. The Democratic People's Republic of Grossprussia.
6. The Union of Urdnotia.
7. The Imperium of Arbites Materia.
8. The Republic of Adiron.
9. The Protectorate of Nalaya.
10. The Military Junta of Molicova.
11. The Grand Duchy of Wielkilas.
12. The High Kingdom of Ossoria.
13. The Confederation of Jedoria.
14. The Republic of Gylias.
15. The Sacred Kingdom of Gavinium Magnus.
16. The Kingdom of Nordkreussen.
17. The Late Roman Empire.
18. The Foederati State of Exalted Draconia.
19. The Voluntary Free Zone of Thesum.
20. The Empire of Tartarus.
21. The Republic of Dengali.

Further such authorizations may well be issued in the future, but this is a significant expansion of foreign trade, intended to build the economy through the investment of foreign capital. Also, several major state monopolies will be broken up into private firms that compete with each other. These include the infamous New Macurean State Health Foods, a company notorious for the blandness of its food and its ability to get most public cafeterias, such as universities, to use its food exclusively. It is hoped that with better menu options, the country may well advance in several directions at once.

Several other reforms under the Reorganizing Initiative have been decreed to "rejuvenate the once great laboratory of scientific progress and development known as New Macureus, through creative new methods and greater independence of thought and action."

This seems to be code for greater creative and innovative freedoms meant to spur advances in science and technology, once the pride of our nation, which have lagged of late due to what many scientists have long called "the suppression of new ideas."

The very fact that the National Board of Censors have authorized this writer to write this particular article is a reflection of our bold and remarkable new direction. It is indeed a "New Era" in New Macureus.

TELM CITY, Britonisea— National Tennis Championships opened with our own Phineas Ekron taking San Jose Guyabal player Italo Vasquez 6-2, 7-5, 6-1. That powerful backhand serve and natural dexterity has proven to be as effective internationally as in the Nationals at home. “It’s a pity we weren’t in time to qualify him for the Olympics, but next year,” said Deputy Minister of Culture Marcus Cotta.

On the other hand while Livilla Bukki in women’s singles put up a good showing in the first match with 7-6 loss to Britonisea’s Lacey Turner, all she had to show was the bottom of her game in the second with a zero. The lovely Reme born tennis player was a good sport on the court but was seeing crying in her mother’s arms a little later on, but said “I just get really emotional. Tomorrow is another day!

Disappointment and Excitement Mingle at Olympic Startoff

by Annabelle Barca

OREAN, Liventia--New Edom`s athletics campaign in the Olympic Games was off to a poor start with Ferech Lindir failing to make the archery ranking round, finishing a disappointing 68th in the qualification round with a below-par performance here today. Eve more disappointing was Petra Avocet’s 95th place I the women’s ranking round.

Nevertheless, excitement is in every heart and mind as the Olympics begin in the beautiful LIventian city, as Stephen Pahath-Moab, our President’s young brother, led our team bearing our flag proudly. The President’s brother is competing in all Equestrian events this year, though the eyes are really on Adah Weber, who took all the top first prizes in the New Edomite nationals last year on her beloved Zephyr, the five year old Chestnut quarter who has demonstrated that she has as bold a heart as her rider.

People are glued to televisions, news and radio today in New Edom, and representatives of our own Olympic committee, Ministry of Culture, and members of our rich and famous including Mike Mallarhyde, New Edom’s billionaire owner of Paladin Cinemas and Mike’s Monkey House, are in Orean to represent our country. The Queen and President have regretted that they could not be present but our Ambassador in Liventia is doing us proud as we see Elizabeth Gedor and her husband, Dr. Matthew Gedor, waving and smiling in the stands.

Ferech Lindir and Petra Avocet, while deeply disappointed, said that they were glad to have qualified and wish the other contestants the best of luck. Our basketball team, meanwhile, is looking forward excitedly to their match and the team’s spirits seem high.

TELM CITY, Britonisea— National Tennis Championships singles group day 4 resulted in Phineas Ekron having one of the longest matchest in the Championships against Byronie Islands' Ziggy Quiencey, 6-2,6-4,2-6,6-7,8-6. Despite a strong showing in the latter half Phineas simply could not match the dynamo from Byronie. Phineas remains game and confident, and has said that his ambition and desire to be a world champion remains strong. "I simply have a mountain to climb, but it's my mountain, and I'm going to climb it," he said.

POOR SHOWING AT OLYMPICS

OREAN, Liventia—New Edom’s Olympic team continues to trail in the bottom hundreds as in opening dressage Equestrians Adah Weber, Stephen Carmel and Stephen Pahath-Moab fell behind other competitors, with Weber at 54th place for Dressage. In spite of this initial disappointment it is hoped that Weber and her teammates will take medals for jumping, which is their strongest suit.

We Need Cash, Sharpish, Say Librarians

FINEBERG, New Edom— "Our libraries are in a dreadful state," says distressed librarian, Mia Dovey. "This year over half of our shelves are stacked with pamphlets from the MotoPizza across the road. We need more books and better standards. If there were more perks in this job then maybe we'd get some decent employees! If it needs a whole lot of government funds to pay for it all then so be it!"

"Now hold it right there!" says manager of the local Cantos store, Wil Broadside. "I employ twenty-four people and we are dependent upon people paying us money to buy books, magazines and newspapers from my store. How can you even think about giving our tax Coppers to these people so they can put us out of business? 'Course poor people won't be able to afford our wares but they'd only use them for fires or somethin'. Let our libraries die." On the other hand, recently, a number of former employees stated that Mr. Broadside is a "Complete jerk who doesn't care about his employees, and is only interested in making money from well off government and business employees."

"I'm all for giving our libraries more money," says Education Minister, Dr. Elizabeth Salt. "It’s all very well to say that bookstores are the wave of the future—but if our average citizens cannot afford them, then this hardly helps. We want to encourage people to read, not discourage them. As we are planning budgets, we need to bear in mind that improvement of our country in part will come through improved education, and it’s more than something we can just do in schools.”

Patriarch denounces "political correctness" in churches.

Postby Late Roman Empire » Sun Aug 04, 2013 2:10 pm

Patriarch Marcellus I

Archbishop Marcellus I of Constantinople, Patriarch of the Imperial Roman Church, preached a rather powerful sermon against homosexuality and "doctrinal falsehood", his second significant homily since taking over the see. In this address, he read at length from the Gospel of Jude in the New Testament and warned against "sinful and false teachings by so-called progressives and modernists in the Church. These wolves in sheep's clothing pervert the true Gospel of Jesus Christ in the name of political correctness, using fallible worldly wisdom which appeals to the ear and to the heart, but is in fact a lie from the very abyss of Hell."

He further reproved many "churches which are now apostate, entire churches which have ceased to 'earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints'," and cited Jude to say "for there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ." (Jude verse 4).

Marcellus referred to these "progressive, Laodicean churches, which tolerate abominations that God does not permit and seek to dilute the whole truth as plainly spoken in Scripture. God does not give any margin of error or interpretation, rather clearly and unambiguously speaks through His Word in the holy canon. Though they may call themselves 'reformed' or 'apostolic', these churches are synagogues of Satan, gatherings of Jezebel and her false prophets, churches of Sodom and Gomorrah."

"Christ does not call us to political correctness, nor to progress, nor to a social gospel, but has given us the commission to publish and preach His true and only Gospel, that which is clearly stated in Holy Scripture. Yes, we are of the New Testament, but even the New continues the standard of righteousness laid out by the Old. Sin remains sin, whether declared to be sin by the Old Testament or the New. The Age of Grace does not make sin holy or holiness sin, but rather avails us of the vicarious grace of Jesus Christ through His atonement at Calvary and His bodily Resurrection from the grave."

"As Christ Himself told Judas Iscariot, the 'poor you have with always.' Yes, you should reach out to the poor and destitute. Yes, you should dispense alms to those who lack the blessing of our Heavenly Father and His Son in matters of worldly goods, but that does not mean that Christians are obligated to vote this way or that, nor does it mean that we should adopt policies that reward idleness instead of working with our hands. Scripture is quite clear if that a man will not work, then neither shall he eat."

"You are not called to redistribute the wealth. You are called to serve our Lord, the God who is our Maker and Savior. You are not called to conform to the worldly standard of tolerance of evil and sin, but to reprove sin and false doctrine. You are not called to perform marriages which God above does not accept, but rather to refuse to perform such services when they involve the unnatural sin of homosexuality. You are not called to be loved by this world, but to take up your Cross, follow Christ, and be hated as He was by this world."

In summary, it was the most potent and fervent demonstration of the new Patriarch's fierce devotion to what he has called "doctrinal firmness in standing for and conformity to Christ, not to Man." Marcellus has apparently been concerned with the trend toward accepting homosexuality and soft-pedaling the rejection of immoral ideas.

For myself, I do not believe that laws of man need to prohibit homosexual conduct. Such things are between a man and His God. However, I do believe that God Himself will indeed judge such abominations in His own good time, and the answer is not legislation, but conversion and repentance. Clergy that tolerate and stomach such things are guilty of watering down the true doctrines of the Church. The Patriarch is right, they are apostates. It is amazing to think some might condemn adultery, fornication, prostitution, and many other forms of immorality, while tolerating the practice of sodomy which is against nature, and even affirming it by profaning and desecrating the sacrament of marriage. To pollute such a sacrament is an offense surely on the verge of mortal sin.

With that in mind, I do wish certain national churches will rethink their stances on such moral issues, that they repent, lest they be judged by God for their approval and sanction of wickedness. Certain nations which love to preach their doctrines at others need to remove the beams from their own eyes, in the form of homosexuality, before judging us for the mote in ours, such as concubinage (a practice forbidden by no Scripture ever written).

Good luck getting sleep tonight, bishops and pastors of Norvenia.

Imperial Roman Reserves Mobilized on high alert.

Postby Late Roman Empire » Sun Aug 04, 2013 2:56 pm

In what appears to be a rather public response to the "growing and intolerable belligerence and reckless aggression of the Raltirians toward our friend and ally, the Allied States of New Edom, for which reason the Empire is prepared to stand firm in fierce opposition to the warmongers in power in Denethier," Count Rufinus Arcadius, Master of Soldiers, has announced today that all reserve forces in the Empire have been called to full and active duty, with the armed forces now on high alert and defense readiness conditions maximized to "secure the safety and sovereignty of this region, not just one nation therein, but all, through collective and mutual security and defense."

"Let there be no mistake. An attack on New Edom will be considered an attack on the Late Roman Empire, and will be dealt with accordingly. We will not tolerate any such aggression, and our armed forces, including the mighty legions, are already in the field against any potential invader of our ally. If the Raltirians should invade, be assured that Romans will fight beside our Edomite brethren in Christ. If they mean war, let it be a war the likes of which they have never seen, and one that they will certainly never forget."

Judging from the Count's rhetoric, it is quite clear where the Sacred Palace stands in this matter. The Emperor will not abandon our Edomite friends in their time of danger and peril. The Emperor will lead by example and demonstrate that we Cornellians stick together against outsiders, no matter how much we quarrel among ourselves.

Jedoria announces support for New Edom in face of war mongering

A spokesperson for the Jedorian Government confirmed earlier today that the Confederation stands behind its Edomite ally in the face of foreign opposition. Despite cultural differences and often less than friendly relations between the two populaces in the past, Duke Damian’s administration confirmed they are ‘100% behind New Edom”.

The latest rounds of threats against New Edom have come as a result of the Gay Re-Education facilities being set up in the Haran province of the Allied States. The action drew heavy criticism from the international community, and although Duke Damian has stated the Confederation does not support such an act, the actions taken against New Edom does not warrant an armed military response.

The spokesperson added, “Too often blood is shed for insignificant reasons. We hope that we can prevent this, but if push comes to shove, we stand behind the Allied States.”
“We were all of us cogs in a great machine which sometimes rolled forward, nobody knew where, sometimes backwards, nobody knew why.”

TROFEO DE PAZ

PARC LEONDE, Sangti— The Fineberg University Griffon’s began their qualification for Matchday 1 on a high note, with Jeremiah Pashur scoring 10 points in helping New Edom . defeat Manitoba All-Stars 95-78

Zarethan added five rebounds, two assists and a steal in his best performance of the game. Haws then re-entered with 2:41 left in the third quarter, and never left the floor, playing the game's final 12:41, during which time he scored six of his 10 points.

Mordecai Tanon’s points came on a fast-break dunk on which he was fouled; in spite of this he managed a free throw and a slam dunk later in the game. According to Dr. Adiel, the team’s coach, “We managed to get the initiative in the third quarter and didn’t lose it. I hope we can maintain that energy.” It seems that thus far the high standards of teamwork, focusing on low dribbling and passing has paid off.

The Trofeo de Paz, or Peace Trophy in Sangti is the first international game the Griffons have played in.

IT'S OFFICIAL--WE SUCK

OREAN, liventia

New Edom is officially out of the Olympics, with all teams and singles failing to qualify in the first three days. Bitter herbs and more bitter tears will be consumed as disappointed fans resign themselves to watching a bunch of foreigners win everything, in the words of an unnamed Ministry of Culture official. While it was pointed out that the Equestrian events are not over yet, a general sense of pessimism has settled over those commenting on the Olympics. Deputy Minister of Culture Captain Marcus Cotta pointed out that even getting there was something of a miracle, however, and that New Edomites should be proud of their athletes as a symbol of national unity and striving to achieve.

"We need to think of the fact that a lot of the teams taking medals so far have had years of establishing Olympic traditions in their country, have a lot more funding going into sports. We went into this in the spirit of the Olympics--brave amateurs striving to demonstrate their love of their chosen sports. I want to encourage everyone and I particular want to encourage our athletes. They are the kind of heroes we want for our future, and I salute them." He in particular drew attention to the Olympic Basketball team which only lost when the game went into overtime. "They fought the good fight. We need to lift our heads up. This is not just about winning, it's about international competition in a way that is civilized and friendly, and I embrace it fully."

Mother Empress Reasserts Alliance As Tensions Grow

Imperial City - Even after victory in the war against the terrorist Damocleans, the Allied States of New Edom continue to come under international pressure for the announcement of their voluntary "Gay Re-Education Program," a pressure which includes statements of condemnation, the launching of embargoes, and even military mobilization. Several Cornellian nations, including the Late Roman Empire and Jedoria, have already voiced their support for the beleaguered New Edom. Today, the Mother Empress of the Shrailleeni Empire joined those voices with a strong statement of support.

"In regards to the New Edomite program in question, I and the Royal Court have judged the matter to be of small consequence. While we may find its spirit and purpose questionable, New Edom breaks no law nor human right by hosting a program that is by nature entirely voluntary and thereby forces no one to change their behavior behind closed doors. It is the belief of the Empire that New Edom has the right to conduct such a program, counsel on its necessity notwithstanding.

It is therefore with great alarm that the Empire observes nations of supposed good intentions reacting with undo harshness regarding this program, and bringing harm upon an already beleaguered and be-grieved people. New Edom is a nation recovering from a serious of tragedies unlike any known by Shrailleeni reckoning. War, disaster, anarchy, and homelessness must all be dealt with before the lives of the New Edomite people may turn to stabilization once again. These reckless embargoes now threaten to disrupt the lives of millions for the most questionable of motives. It is therefore that the Shrailleeni Empire condemns such actions against New Edom as a humanitarian threat, and by extension condemns all nations currently enacting such policies in the name of the Enlightened Path and the will of the Mother Goddess.

Further, the Empire has seen the reports of military mobilization among certain nations, in a grossly obvious attempt to alter by force what any basic legal reasoning could never alter by virtue. This most base display threatens action which would be unacceptable to any civilized nation. Even more than embargo, open warfare would mean untold suffering to the people of New Edom, our Sisters and Brothers. What is more, it would endanger not only the innocent of New Edom, but also the brave Shrailleeni, Nalayan, and other volunteers working to alleviate some of the pains of that nation's suffering.

It is no secret that the Empire has not always agreed with the policies of General Perrin Pahath-Moab. The ascension of the new and current government has been a matter of some concern, and during the Gloria Regis incident events combined to bring the Shrailleeni-New Edomite alliance into question. However, it is also no secret that when presented with the Empire's concerns General Pahath-Moab alleviated through open discussion that which caused these setbacks. That alliance has never been dissolved, and it is my intention to adhere to it by the blood oath of Shrailleeni national honor.

Therefore, I the Mother Empress of the Shrailleeni Empire, have decreed the following actions. In addition to Shrailleeni condemnation of the embargoing states, the Empire shall continue to expand the already prosperous trade relationship between our nations. I also announce that any declaration of war against New Edom shall, in line with the terms of the Shrailleeni-New Edomite Mutual Defense Treaty, be considered a declaration of war against the Shrailleeni Empire. Should a direct confrontation arise, I would like to let General Pahath-Moab and Queen Mara Obed know that Shrailleeni forces shall be placed at their command, should the government of New Edom ask for them. Our swords shall remain ever raised at the side of those whom we have fought alongside in the past.

I have decreed this in the hope that such necessity shall never come to pass. It is our continued hope and prayer that reasonable discourse shall prevail over rashness of action, and that the true humanitarian crisis of New Edom shall be noticed and addressed by those focussed on a single program of little consequence. May the blessings of the Mother Goddess make this so."

THE FINEBERG TIMES
Sports Report

PARC LEONDE, Sangti— The Fineberg University Griffon’s continued to move forward on Day 2 at the Trofeo de Paz in a tough fight against the BK Kamzik Poprad. Star center Jeremiah Pashur hit the court hard intercepting a pass, but Michael Fabian was ready to take up the slack.
Strong support from forward Jachin Zarethan, guards Saul Ramah and Mordecai Tanon enabled them to rally from a 10 point deficit for an 87-84 victory that has pushed them forward into the next round.

“I’m very proud of the boys; it’s hard to lose Jeremiah halfway through the game but this is why we train the way we do—no one is indispensable, everyone is valuable.” Coach Dr. Daniel Adiel said proudly.

Forward Joachim Merari scored 20 points and Jachin Zarethan 11 points and 7 rebounds. “I sprained my left pinky finger,” said Merari with a grimace that was quickly followed by a cheerful grin, displaying a hand on ice. “The last half I really couldn’t dribble with my left, the ball was going around like crazy.” Joachim Merari said he was fully game for the next round and is looking forward to it.

And so, good hunting, the Griffons! Great things are expected of you!

TECT & Ossoria Sign Anti-Piracy Cooperation Treaty Agreement.
August 8, 2013

The TECT government announced today that it has signed an agreement with the government Ossoria in an effort to combat piracy cooperatively. The two nations share interest in combating pirate activity in their own waters and along the trade routes that are used by the two nations in their trade relations. The goal of the treaty, the TECT Ossorian Anti-Piracy Cooperation Treaty, promises to combat pirate activity in waters and in ports of both nations. Not only targeting Blackbeard's of the sea, the agreement also targets the less hostile smuggling pirates that engage in bootlegging and thievery. The treaty also promises to keep watch for specific pirate activity of certain bootlegged items from either country. Much more is explained later on but in tell, the treaty promises to combat all forms of piracy in international waters, protect shipping along trade lines, protecting ports, and extra protections from pirates of all kinds.

The anti-piracy agreement was hatched out after much talk of anti-piracy cooperation in the southern continent which included Ossoria. The talks were fairly conducted and cooperation to combat pirates of all kinds were the main goals of the talks. It helped greatly that the two nations shared good trade relations and have very similar pirate policies. "Ossoria and TECT do actually share much in fighting piracy and how we conduct anti-piracy missions. This new agreement is proof of that, and that our two nation's resolve for a better friendship and resolve for combating the piracy threat to both our nation's traders." said Economics and Trade Minister of TECT, Jack Kruse. "What the treaty promises are procedures for cooperation in our fight against pirates. Including joint patrols, protection, and handling of captured of pirates. This is a great new step for security of both our nations traders and for our relations as frineds." he continued. The Minister also credited both nation's shared policies on piracy and for other similar government policies.

The cooperation agreement makes promises including: Patrolling trade lanes the two nations share, protecting shipping in said lanes including individual ships, shared information on operation and for pirated products for port security, cooperation in patrols and policy of piracy, standards for sinking of pirated vessels and how suspected pirates are treated, and much more. Another important aspect to the agreement is the interaction between ships of either nations and their military vessels. Both nations are prohibited from boarding or holding hostilities against the other partner; military vessels are also prohibited from entering the other's waters without given permission. Partner vessels are also prohibited from raiding or stopping vessels flying the other's national flag unless proof of pirate activity is discovered or other such actions of hostilities/piracy is discovered. The Minister also expressed interest in making similar (if not the same) agreements with other nations in the region of Cornellia and rest of the world.

Princess Desiree with child!

Postby Gavinium Magnus » Fri Aug 09, 2013 9:53 pm

National Herald,
Louise Villon, Writer

Her Royal Highness, Crown Princess Desiree has announced today that she is now three months' pregnant with a child, the sex yet unknown, by Prince Enoch Tubal-Cain of New Edom, her husband. This wonderful news resulted in much speculation as to what role this fusion of royal bloodlines will have in the improvement and increase in relations and trade between our two nations. For sure, this child will supersede His Royal Highness, Prince Mithra, the Minister of War, in the line of succession, knocking him down to fourth place. However, the Prince has only expressed his joy at the "splendid divine blessing of another royal child, one with strong and healthy parents who will surely enhance the royal heritage of this realm."

This has also increased the pressure on His Majesty, King Maximian II, to marry and sire children with a royal bride. Rumors abound of varioius possible matches that might well serve the best interests of the Kingdom. He has been seen a lot of women in public, of course, but none have been announced as anything other than social contacts, fueling rumors of homosexuality, which are far from the truth. To quote one anonymous palace source, "His Majesty is known to favor women, which is fine as long as he also favors marriage to one of them someday, preferably to the point of having progeny." Naturally, the source feared to disclose his or her name to the public, given the risks of offending the Crown.

Also seen much in public with various women is His Royal Highness Prince Mithra himself, a noted philanderer and fierce proponent of a stronger, more active military. Will he pick any of them to be his bride? Well, we do not know yet, but we are sure that some inquisitive minds would be curious to learn that. At least from this our gossip column.

Louise Villon is well known as the "the premiere gossip columnist of the land." She is also Deputy Editor for Human and Society Interest Affairs at the National Herald.
