Introduction:
The year is 2013, and humanity is recovering from a devastating war against vampires from another dimension who invaded in force less than a year ago. It was only thanks to the combined efforts of a small group of superhumans and a coalition of the last standing armed forces on Earth that the vampires were driven back.
On the surface of the planet humanity is doing its best to recover from the brink of destruction, rebuilding their homes and mourning their fallen. Since the end of the war an unprecedented peace has settled on the planet as people struggle to rebuild. For some people that notion of peace is nothing but an illusion, as anyone deemed 'deviant' is liable to be attacked by one of the many armed militias that have sprung up across the globe in the aftermath of the invasion. Even as they had fought to save the world the contributions of superhumans were mostly forgotten in the rising storm of xenophobia that followed the war, and many of them have been forced to band together in ghettos to avoid the worst of the persecution.
But in space hangs a shining beacon of hope for all superhumans; the Academy for the Empowered, also known as Super Hero High. A vast space station constructed years ago for the sole purpose of giving training to young gifted individuals, a place where they can reach their full potential safe from the outside world. Operating under the protection of the UN and enjoying funding from hundreds of generous donors the school is well-equipped to handle any situation.

Right, if you want to apply simply copy the form you want and fill it out. Up to two characters per player allowed.
The students are placed into dorms based on their alignment. The three dorms are Hero, Vigilante and Villain.
All player student characters are in the same class. Lessons are held by player teacher characters, and planned with the OP ahead of time.
For teachers you may choose almost any subject to teach that would be taught at a normal high school. There are also classes in other subjects that are useful to superhumans, feel free to be creative.

Stay reasonable with the abilities and there should be no problem.
Also, characters from existing fiction are not allowed.
Rules
§ 1. No godmodding. Godmodding includes but is not limited to: taking control of another player's character without permission, unreasonable refusal to acknowledge anything bad happening to your character, gaining new powers or abilities without first getting permission from the OP, etc.
§ 2. Refrain from posting OOC in the IC thread.
§ 3. Maintain an acceptable standard on your posts. This means: try to avoid one-liner posts, and do your best to make your posts neat and easily legible.
§ 4. Never harass your fellow players in any way.
