Is your nation a monarchy? Then what do your crown jewels look like? Are they modest and simple or opulent and awe inspiring. Post your pictures here!

This is my crown.

Ironically the Portuguese Crown is diminutive and denotes the rank of someone lesser than Ruling Monarch.

I myself use a far simpler diadem-style crown alongside a scepter and religious orb ala the Eastern Roman Empire. Alternatively the Queen-Matriarch of the Ancient Empire; the state that preceded my modern nation; wore a crown styled after the Ming Dynasty's Phoenix Crown.

Gotta love the East Romans. But I don't think it was designed for a lesser ruler. It was created specifically for king John VI in 1817, when Portugal had been independent for at least 150 years.

But that is not a coronet, it is officially called the Royal Crown of Portugal. Several designs of Coronets were used in Portugal, but only the Monarchs and the Heirs crowns/coronet had arches. The design of it is actually quite interesting, it is solid gold, with absolutely no jewels in it at all.

The Russian Imperial Regalia consists of three crowns:
The Great Imperial Crown:
Image

Created for Catherine II in the 18th century, the Great Imperial Crown is set with 5,000 diamonds, edged with pearls and set with a large red spinel (400 carats.) It is kept in a high security room and maintained by its own staff to be ready for use in coronations, as it has for the past thousand years.

The Great Imperial Crown is also accompanied by the Lesser Imperial Crown, done in the same style, which is worn by the monarch's consort.

The Crown of Mars:
Image
Created by Ivan XI to solidify the Russian claim to Mars, the Crown of Mars is done in the old style, resembling the pre-Petrine crowns of the Russian Tsardom. It is a more recent construction, only fifty years old. All of the gold and jewels were obtained on Mars, and the crown itself is housed in the Red Palace of Mars at all times.

The Cap of Monomakh:
Image
The crown of the legendary Vladimir Monomakh, an ancient prince of the city of Kiev. Monomakh was also the direct ancestor of Ivan III, the first Russian ruler to throw off the Mongol yolk. The crown is carried before the procession during all imperial coronations, although the Tsar does not wear it.

Image
The Imperial Scepter is also notable for the Orlov Diamond, a 200 carat diamond likewise obtained in the days of Catherine the Great.

Well, before we went to civil war with the monarchy, the crown jewels were as follows:

First, there was the Monarch's crown; which was an ivory circlet with plucked feathers of the Birds of Paradise, our national bird, embedded in the top by the shaft.

Secondly, there was the royal mace; which was an actual combat mace, but with an ornate handle of ivory and an obsidian head.

And despite how much we detest our monarchy today, we still have a thing for ivory.

His Highness the King of Councordia generally wears a simple golden circlet:

On state occasions, though, the Horned Crown is worn, which reflects the King's connection to his land and the natural world.

The Sword of State, which, in popular myth, Siegfried, the ancestor of the Sautter line, used to kill the Great Wyrm, is also sometimes carried:

Even when monarchy was the official government of Bodobol, there were no crown jewels after 1804, a year of governmental reform brought about by King John Ethis II.

The HM President, being our head of state and due to complex negotiations between the kingdoms and republics that joined to form the Teddy Bear Republic Empire, is the formal holder of the state's regalia, which are officially possessed by the Government as a whole. It composes of crown jewels from several Teddy kingdoms and assorted bear clans. Notable pieces are the Winged Dragon Staff, similar to a sceptre, and the Nordic Naval Crown, a naval crown which was the official regalia of the Monarchy of the Allied Nordic Kingdom, a variant of which appears on our coat of arms.
My full name is actually "[The] Teddy Bear Republic Empire."

The coronation ceremony of TurtleShroom has remained mostly unchanged since 1912, but overall, retains the same themes and order of procession since the founding of the country in 1796.

1. The Crown of TurtleShroom was initially forged in 1799 (the country being founded in 1796). The circlet's wearable made of iron (cheap and durable), with a red cushion- the cushion was hand sewn out of cotton -and is also stuffed with cotton. The cross on top is made of solid gold and fastened to the cushion. The crown is green, however, because it is completely coated with finely crushed Russian Ural emeralds that were mixed into a dye. Although most argue that it was fools' gold crafted into pearl shapes and fastened to the Crown, the golden pieces are supposedly chipped off from the crown of the Tsar of Russia (before the USSR destroyed it).
There are two original Crowns of TurtleShoom. The turtle's crown is very small, while the mushroom's crown is large enough to fall over a human's head. A third crown is being made for the human head of state in the same fashion as the old one, but because of the changing relations with Russia, TurtleShroom is considering using synthetic Russian emeralds for the human piece.
Russia, so the story goes, made the crown for TurtleShroom as a goodwill gift.
Some say the Tsar commissioned this to keep TurtleShroom in contact with them, others say it was to trick them into thinking they cared so they wouldn't come back. (History suggests that the Missionaries that founded TurtleShroom were unknowingly bribed by the Tsar of Russia to get their schismistic Reformist ideals out of the Orthodox-governed empire. The human founding Missionaries, remember, were dislocated Puritans and Anabaptists that existed far from their denominations' origins. No one is sure how the predecessors to Baptists ended up so far in Eastern Europe, particularly in Ukraine.

2. In addition, there exists a nine foot tall, silver rod that extends to hold a gold-coated lantern for the human head of state, which hangs from a leather string coated in a sapphires. The rod's lantern is a literal play on the Biblical passage, "God's Word is a lamp unto [one's] feet and a light unto [one's] path". The silver rod itself is exactly what it says on the tin: a pole of (99.0%) pure silver that the Chancellor would hold (or have carried for in front of him).

3. A horn of annointing oil, made out of a single sapphire, contains crude oil (yes, crude oil, black gold, texas tea) and is used to annoint the incoming head of state.

4. The monarchy (disestablished in 1912), had many other vestments and regalia that were placed away in a mueseum on Capitol Land grounds. You can still see them today.

TurtleShroom disestablished its monarchy in 1912. The populace at the time were required to vote whether or not the royal jewels and items, and they elected to keep them.

Melted the crown jewels of the elected despot/monarch in 1879 and poured them into the foundation of the new democratic parliament. As if fitting for all crown jewels in the world.

Given that gemstones are common and plentiful in Equestria, her Divine Majesty Celestia hasn't really seen a need for an opulent set of "crown jewels" to show off her power and authority. She's usually content with a simple gold and amethyst diadem for daily wear, and a more elaborate jeweled crown of many points for formal state occasions.

Above is an heraldic portrayal of Imperial Crown of Martyrs' Blood, in which Kaisers of Imperial Leonische Realms wore during their coronations. It was built by Emperor Joachim II of Sonne Empire in 1327. It was originally kept at Cathedral of the Blood of the Martyrs at Spelle, where Emperors of Sonne Empire performed their coronation ceremonies, hence the name Imperial Crown of Martyrs' Blood. After the falling of Sonne Empire, House of Löwen proclaimed themselves successors of the fallen empire and used the crown of previous dynasty during their coronations.

We have a lot of crown jewels from when we had a lot of monarchies around here. Since 1863 (when we unified as a Republic), there are no crown jewels that are official, but usually, it goes like this.

In the west, it is in museums, in the east, it is owned by collectors or descendants of the former monarchs.

the Jewels of the nation are a chemical laser pistol which has been hand crafted by our most fameous artisan over two hundred years ago, it is made of a materiel lost to time and coated in gold which has been melted down and then finely sprayed onto it.

the other is the Rings of the council, each of these rings is melted down over the years and reforged when soldier who has made general ascends to a higher position, the rare ones are those who made general or above and troops will usually fight to the death to reclaim their commanders rings so that they can be archived.

Desler himself owns a custom ring emblazoned with a single green gem from the homeworld.

Very nice.

Although we're a monarchy, the Queen of Bolden apparently does not have a crown/tiara and doesn't mind not having one. She tries to look as if she's a normal citizen as much as possible..for the most part.

She sees her golden rope necklace along with her cross to go with it as a personal and valuable piece of jewelry, especially since her mother gave it to her.
