Welcome to the official Communist Party Headquarters for the NSG Senate. The Communist Party sets forth a perspective for a future society, overthrowing capitalism and advancing to communism. The party advocates the position of a “step-by-step advance,” that any social change can only be made when people think such change is necessary and conditions for it are in place. The party is also based on the theory of “revolution by the majority” that any stage of social development will be brought about only after the majority of people have agreed and supported it.

The Party also stands strongly for the protection and preservation of, and working together with our natural environment. The Communist Party also stands firmly against militarism and wars of aggression, as well as the use of unnecessary use of violence in attempting to reach a communist society. We see national boundaries and arbitrary, our only real differences being those of class. We seek to establish a stateless, classless, moneyless society structured upon the common ownership of the means of production.

Workers of the world, unite!

Platform of the Communist Party

Statement of Principles
The platform of the Communist Party is the platform for a workers’ republic. That is, our platform is not designed to bring about a more democratic capitalist system. The current material conditions in society have demonstrated the impossibility to resolving even the most minimal of democratic tasks. Moreover, the actions that the working class has undertaken over the past few years have shown that, when our brothers and sisters do begin to make their break with the system of the exploiting and oppressing classes, the transition to revolutionary (and communist) consciousness is relatively rapid and direct.

The Communist Party struggles for the complete victory of the social revolution of the working class and the introduction of the communist program in its entirety. The Party believes that all hitherto advances of human society in the economy, science, technology and standards of living have created all of the material conditions necessary to establish a society of generalized freedom without classes, exploitation and oppression (i.e., a world communist society), and that the working class upon taking political power must introduce its communist program.

The first historic step in the introduction and implementation of the communist program will be the abolition of the private ownership of all capital, including the means of production, distribution and exchange. This act of abolition will be universal; not only will it affect large- and medium-scale businesses and industries, but also small businesses and shops, and privately-owned cooperatives. This capital, however, will not simply be transferred from private to state ownership. Ownership of capital will be abolished in all ways; such capital will have no owners of any kind. Instead, capital will be seen in a light similar to that of forests or the oceans: as a part of the commons — a resource to be preserved, maintained and used for the good of all.

While there will be numerous issues that will confront a newly-liberated proletariat, we believe the following general principles represent a starting point and foundation for the fulfillment of the struggle for a classless communist society:

Minimum Program
  1. Establishment of political and economic structures based on working people’s direct and permanent participation in the administration and exercise of power;
  2. Establishment of far-reaching, unconditional and guaranteed civil and human rights, social equality, and freedom for all; abolition of any kind of discrimination according to race or nationality, gender or gender identity, sexuality or sexual identity, citizenship or residency, religion, age, ability, etc.;
  3. Adoption of measures to radically and swiftly push aside socially-reactionary, discriminatory and degrading beliefs, customs and traditions, and to help with the development of a free and open culture, values and human relations;
  4. Reorganization of the state into a revolutionary workers' republic, replacing arbitrary geographic divisions with organic democratic workers' councils centered around economic production;
  5. Development of a syndicalist participatory planned economy, organized by a federal system of workplace assemblies and delegated committees;
  6. The progressive dismantling of the state terror apparatus, including but not limited to the abolition of punitive prisons for effective rehabilitation, the abolition of standing armies and state security systems for citizen-militias, and the reorganization of the police into an accountable, democratic institution of public safety instead of class rule.
  7. The reorganization of all economic activity to promote a social ecology, organizing human affairs to promote biological diversity, stable ecosystems, and healthy relationships among humans and with the environment.

I know I'm not a central committee member, but I think we should focus on getting the Healthcare Act and Education Act passed first.

Sounds reasonable. Since you've been quite active, would you be interested in joining the Central Committee as First Deputy Secretary?

I put forward a proposal for Communist Senators to subtract the median wage from their exorbitant salary, and donate the remainder to charity. I pledge this, encourage others to join me.

I'm not a central committee member, but I'd be interested in seeing some kind of environmental protection legislation passed

Yeah, I'll do this if the SAPSA passes. For that matter I intend to live off of the average worker's wage and donate the rest to charity.

I would like to express solidarity, if I may. This bill is an affront to equality. Why should Senators receive healthcare and pension when we won't even give the same to our citizens? There is no reason for us to be treated differently.

I'll definately do this.

I also would like to remind any members who have not already voted for the NRPA and against SAPSA to do so. We have quite a lot of members who have not been active lately. Perhaps we should try reaching out to them once more. It may be too late, as voting ends in little more than an hour, but it is worth tying.

Another thing I have just noticed is that we still have the links to the old threads up.

Yeah, many of our members aren't active in the senate. I mass TG'd them all during the presidential campaign to make sure Aeken won but none of them actually came back to the senate even just to vote, so I'm not sure that reaching out to them will do much. Worth a shot tough.
