CEO Robert Espinosa, Piston Armament Corp,

Mr Espinosa, while we here at Voss Defence do utilise a lot of your company’s hardware, we must unfortunately turn down your offer. As an international company, Voss Defence cannot limit itself to one armaments manufacturer if we wish to stay economically competitive. However, we would be willing to become a preferred customer of Piston Armaments, enabling closer business cooperation between our two companies.

FROM THE REPUBLIC OF TURTLESHROOM:
THE DIARCHIAL CHANCELLORATE
CHANCELLOR FUNGUSAMONGUS LAMEPUN, HEAD MUSHROOM OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURTLESHROOM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CEO/General of Voss Defense:

I and my fellow Chancellor are very intriqued in your company. We have an okay army, so we don't need to contract any soldiers, but we can still find a need from your company.

Do you provide bodygaurds? If so, can you give us two, one for me, and one for my fellow Chancellor? We currently have four bodyguards each, but one of them died of old age (a turtle, aged 159), and another resigned. A third was sent on a diplomacy mission to station_12, and returned with... creepy issues.

Anyway, we humbly request two (preferably human) bodyguards for full, residency/lifetime service. We will gladly provide any transportation (by rail or by floating battleship, see national signature).

In exchange for the bodyguards, we will provide you with 25,000 of our finest in novelty weaponry. Our artillery can shoot traditional rounds, but their primary ammo is actually skillets. Using specially modified, super-wide barrels, you load the iron frying pan in by the handle, and fire away. It takes a lot of practice to shoot an iron skillet where you want it to go, but the weapon is excruciatingly painful, and if it hits properly, can kill instanenously.

We could also, if you desire, provide you with a few of our elite troops. The Republic has mastered the art of pie throwing. They can clobber an enemy from across a room, and with special equipment, so-called "pie snipers" can smack a rival from a mile or more away. It's especially interesting, since pies are not areodynamic. Pies are not lethal and not that harmful, but when strategically deployed (say, clobbering a guy riding a jeep and blinding him), they are very useful in war.

Thank you,
-Chancellor Fungusamongus Lamepun, Head Mushroom of the Republic of TurtleShroom

From the Desk of the Director of Krevic Worx- Design & Engineering

We are glad your company has found the Mandorla Assault Rifle to be product of quality. When we were first contacted about our design specifications for the Mandorla assault rifle we were quite excited that our designs had potential customers considering the many designs and Design Corporations that Rusikstan Industrial Armories employs. So naturally when we were informed by Rusikstan Industrial Armories that Voss Defense Incorporated is interested in the Type 60 PDW we were quite excited. As we understand the situation, Voss Defense Inc. would like the rights to produce the Type 60 PDW and the right to sell it internationally. Krevic Worx has been designated to negotiate this deal in place of Rusikstan Industrial Armories because the weapon is ours. Considering the weapon’s normal selling price of 2,200 USD/NSD, We believe that the DPR should come to 2.2 billion USD/NSD, if this is not an acceptable amount the price has limited negotiability.

As for an international export license, Rusikstan Industrial Armories believes that this will require another additional monetary sum. Rusikstan Industrial Armories has, also, asked that we negotiate a price for the export licensing agreement. We’ve been informed that the RIA currently has a number in mind, though in the interest of business relations has decided not to disclose this number to our company and thus we take this as an intermediary assignment between our company, your company and the RIA. We, being the intermediary, would negotiate between the two companies to the best of our abilities and hopefully get both sides to agree to the set terms.

As for why they chose to not disclose a number, we believe they are doing this because our contract is up for renewal. The reason that this pertains to this sale is due to the fact that our contract requires a certain number product sales to be reached in exchange for future funding and renewal of our contract. Our company originally applied for funding from the RIA in exchange for an exclusive access to our products, instead of them approaching us and buying our craft. So if we do not meet the monetary amount our company will be released from its contract. If this occurs it can be good and bad for our company. It will be good in that our company will be able to provide systems to many other companies and armies without going through the RIA. Though, it will be bad in that our company will lose a substantial amount of funding and be reduced to shelve some of our more advanced system research until we receive the proper amount of funding.

Though back to the IEL, as of now we have no number in mind and so we will allow you to proceed with an offer before we make a move.

We hope to hear from your company soon,
Gerogi Mikiov

Gerogi Mikiov, Director and CEO, Krevic Worx- Design & Engineering

Mr Mikiov,

Let me begin by saying that the Mandorla Assault Rifle designed by your company is truly an excellent mesh of ergonomic comfort and sheer stopping power. Voss Defence Inc. is very pleased to support and facilitate the sale of this weapon to the international market. My company is indeed interested in purchasing the domestic production rights, as well as an international export license for the Type 60 PDW as we believe that this weapon would be able to be used very effectively by our security contractors. We also believe that it could fill a gap which currently exists in our product catalogue, hampering our chances with prospective buyers.

Voss Defence Inc. is fully prepared to pay the lump sum presented by your company, amounting to $2.2 billion NSD for the domestic production rights for the Type 60. Regarding the international export license, Voss Defence Incorporated, after some internal consultation in regards to the future prospects of this weapon on the international market, has agreed upon an appropriate method of payment. We would like to begin these negotiations by offering a single monetary sum of $1,600,000,000 NSD, along with 4.5 million shares in Voss Defence Inc. for the IEL to the Type 60 PDW.

The total value of this offer stands at $1,733,020,000 NSD.

Signed,

From the Desk of the Director of Krevic Worx- Design & Engineering

I must say that I’m proud that the Mandorla Assault Rifle has proven to be worth the time that our R&D put into it, total combined effort of approximately 6 years on the first design and another 4 to incorporate the HUD module into the weapon to be the effective weapon that your company now wields. We are glad to provide such a weapon design.

We are, also, happy to provide the PDW Type 60 to fill the gap in your catalogue of service-ready/capable weapons. My company is pleased to hear that the amount for the DPR has been accepted, as this will help our company reach its needed quotient. We designed this weapon along the premise of the soldier. While it doesn’t feature the HUD of the MAR it does tend to be favored over it by our testers who enjoy the weapons capacity to take down targets, while still being able to enter confined areas and move comfortably close the body.

As for IEL agreement we have conferred with the RIA, who is quite pleased that your company has hit in the range of their reserve number. However, The RIA was hoping to meet at an agreement of at least the equal of the DPR. My company would be delighted to accept this offer but the RIA believes that the IEL price should be equal to or at least 3/4 of the DPR. The RIA admits, though, that 1.6 billion is basically equal to 1.65 billion it does not agree, however, that ~1.7 billion is equal to 2.2 billion. Thus the RIA, in the interest of business, would like to offer the price for the IEL to be 2.2 billion, in lump sum and/or plus stock.

Though, there are other pieces in your inventory that have perked the interest of Krevic Worx engineers. Perhaps, the difference can be made by the exchange through vehicle cost. We are interested in acquiring the MRAV-5 and MRAP ATV Razorback. I won’t lie to as the reason as to why we are interested. For a few years we have tinkered with a “modularized” vehicle design, like the MRAV-5 which is considerable better than what our company has designed. Other RIA companies have designed such vehicles, but are not exactly open to the idea of product sharing b/c of the competitive nature of RIA contracts, because not being aligned with the RIA is a fate that few companies can survive to do. So we intend to study the design of the MRAV-5 and thus produce a version of our own, hopefully to get approved by the RIA for use. As for the Razorback, it is going to be tested against one of our newer designs the XHMV-23 to see how it will compete against other proven designs. We do not want to compromise any agreement that your company has entered into so if your company can not agree because of contractual agreements, we understand.

I hope to hear from your company soon,

We will purchase the services of the following forces for immediate deployment to the UAWC in action against the Anglo Saxon Empire and its allies.
