Events will take place based on how/and what the players do, but anything can happen!, France and Germany can be allies, countries do not need to be involved at all! etc etc
You will lead your nation through these 80 years of troubled times.(If all goes well, it will be extended)

President Raymond Poincaré sat in parliment, discussing with various ministers about things that would benefit the French Republic as a whole.
It was decided that the miltary though already strong, should be trained much more regularly and be up to date on the latest tactics. Aswell as this the President phoned all embassies in Paris and informed all nations that had responded that the French politicians wished to discuss world affairs.

The French Governor Paul Louis Luce under orders from French High Command, began preparing the garrison of soldiers (numbering some 245,000 men) to begin preparing for an invasion of Thailand.

The Kremlin, Moscow, Russian Empire

Tsar Nicholas II's hands drummed on his throne's arm in thought. Before him his ministers reported- as they did every morning- on the state of the Empire. Modernization and the implementation of his industrial reforms was slow, very slow. Though Russia had extensive rail networks, they all faced westward to Europe, not eastward to his vast resource-rich and sparsely populated dominions. He would see that changed, indeed. Russia's coffers were not vast, but they could support a few projects at least.

Dmitri Menveyev, the Russian Ambassador to France, received the message that the French President Poincare had phoned to invite him to a session of the French Parliament. He stroked his short beard, weighing what this development could mean, then shrugged slightly. He summoned his driver and motorcar, and they made for the seat of the French government. Whatever happened, it would be interesting and valuable information for his liege, the Tsar.

The motorcar of the Russian Ambassador came to a halt outside the Parliment buidling, stopping beside the steps that led up to it, waiting by the steps was Georges Clemenceau the French Prime Minister, standing at his side, stood two French Soldiers, dressed in the typical French blue uniform.

The force had been assembled, 200,000 infantry, 40,000 Cavalry, and the remaining 5,000 were machinegun crews, and gunners for the various artillery pieces present.
Under the Command, of General Foch the force moved out and began its short journey into Siam territory.

Ambassador Menveyev dismounted from his vehicle with the sprightly gait of a younger man, his adjunct following him up the steps to the French Parliament at a more stately pace, his arms burdened with documents. Espying the French GM waiting, Dmitri seized the man's hand and pumped it once in gleeful greeting. He looked at the guards with a curious twinkle in his eye, then spoke in flawless Parisian-accented French.

"Well met, Monsieur Clemencau, well met indeed. I do hope you have some tea brewing, for I had to cut short my afternoon luncheon in order to come hither at your President's request. Are you at liberty to discuss his reasons for requesting my presence, or shall we save that discussion for more formal environs?"

The Hague, Netherlands
Prime Minister Theodorus Heemskerk and Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands were discussing on what the world looks like nowadays. Tensions are rising between nations and war could break out any moment. Still, the dutch economy was still running quite good, partially thanks to the colony in the East Indies. If war would break out, the Prime Minister and Queen decided that neutrality would be the best strategy. Thanks to the strategical position of the Netherlands, Germany (Rhine), France (Meuse) and the United Kingdom had an interest in the Netherlands not being conquered by another world power. This would hopefully lead to countermeasures from those countries when the Netherlands are under attack.

A message from the French president arrived at the Embassy. A global top to discuss world affairs would be held soon. The government of the Netherlands will also be present with a delegation consisting of the Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs Theodorus Heemskerk, Minister of War and Minister of Navy Hendrikus Colijn, Minister of Foreign Affairs Reneke de Marees van Swinderen, Minister of Agriculture, Industry and Trade Aritius Sybrandus Talma and other Dutch diplomats.

1.The nations of France and Russia will be joint in a military defense pact that will ensure peace in Europe, an attack to one would signal an attack to all.
2.A trade agreement will also be set up, and France will be more then happy to lend aid to Russia and her problems, if this was done vice-versa
3.Russian Ships will be allowed to use French ports, and vice versa aswell as the lending of various military equipment an example being the French 75.

In the wake of renewed geopolitical tension in Pacific Asia, the US 4th Pacific fleet will be dispatched from its traditional base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii to Subic Bay, Philippians to better protect American interests against foreign threats. Currently this threat comes in two forms. The first was the Imperial Japanese Navy, which vied for dominance with the US Pacific Fleets in East Asia. The USA and Japan’s interest clashed in many fronts including the Japanese expansion into China and many analysts believe that conflict between the two states is inevitable. The second came in the form of the planed French invasion of Siam, which will severely disrupt the balance of power in the Pacific. The USA, not keen on sharing more power with the Europeans, see this as a potential threat to its holdings in the Philippians as well as its interest in China. The US 2nd Pacific Fleet will make a port of call to Canton, China in a show of support for the Chinese government and a show of commitment of America in China.

Ambassador Medveyev look the document and looked at long and hard, then walked into the building. His actions spoke as loud as words; this was a matter that needed a proper environment for deliberation. He took a seat in the room prepared for the diplomatic personnel, then at last spoke to Clemenceau, smiling.

"I, as a representative of my Tsar, see no problems in this agreement. As such, I can accept it as it stands." He pulled a steel-tipped ballpoint pen from the pocket of his dapper waistcoat, and signed the document.

The Ambassador then leaned back in his chair, and spoke in musing tones. "With that aside, I must tell you that my Tsar has also informed me that the Russian Empire would be interested in any terms of a separate agreement that would see French industrial advisers and agricultural experts come to my homeland; you know it, I am sure, but our people have been slow to embrace the progress that has so defined Europe. Russia has unlimited untapped potential, and my sovereign would consider a great sign of Franc-Russian friendship if your government could provide such assistance. Perhaps some favorable tariff relaxations would be in order in exchange for such a gesture." He smiled then, a slight smile.

Infantryman Petor Grovinko marched along with his fellow soldiers in their thick greatcoats, south into the disorganized lands of the Shah. After the disastrous Constitutional Revolution and the refusal of the Majlis to dismiss their hostile treasurer general, it was time for a show of force against the Persians. They would not defy Russia again. Nearly a hundred and thirty thousand men of the Imperial Russian Army tramped south from the Russian zone of influence towards Tabriz.

"I believe we would be able to send some industrial and agricultural experts, I shall begin contacting people first thing after this meeting, at the latest tomorrow morning" he then sat as a waitress entered the room, and placed a teapot, a large amount of cups, sugar, milk and various foods on the large table infront of them, she then bowed and walked out of the room
"Well, have what you like if you are hungry" George said as he poured himself a cup of tea and grabbed a cracker and some paté. He then noticed the Japanese delegation enter
"Greetings, we are discussing world affairs, trade agreements, alliances territory and such, come sit" he then gestured to the seats infront of them.

After the meeting of parliament had ended, it had been decided that Austria-Hungary would abolish the separate Austrian and Hungarian parliaments, and instead introduce a joint parliament in order to speed up the tedious political processes that had plagued Austria-Hungarian Politics. Franz Josef still remained Emperor, however.

It had also been decided, that Austria-Hungary needed to rethink its entire foreign policy, and now seeks alliances with The British Empire and The French Empire as well as seeking trade agreements with them, other nations that Austria-Hungary also seek to trade with are the Netherlands and the Italian States. Diplomats have been accordingly dispatched.

"I know, and an alliance would improve the view of the French. I know that we just warred recently but an alliance would enforce the diplomatic views with France.
