"What are your orders my Lord?" The Following asked in his rough sandpaper like voice to the large figure obscured by darkness.
"The elves grow strong in their palaces and the dwarfs are protected in their mountain fortresses the time to strike is now!

Barad-dur, Mordor
Sauron sat in the large throne that was located in Barad-dur
"Lieutenant" he said
"Yes my master" said the Mouth of Sauron
"Muster our forces and prepare for my command"
"Of course" said the Mouth of Sauron as he walked out of the hall and did his task
Sauron then contacted his Nazgul Generals
"Generals, prepare yourselves, a conflict is sure to happen soon, do as you see fit to prepare yourselves for it, I will contact you if I have any orders to relay"
When Sauron had finished contacting the Nazgul, he contacted Saruman through the Palantir Saruman possed
"Saruman, are you still "neutral", my friend?"

The Tower of the Stars, Forostar, Numenor

Tar-Minastir turned his eyes to the heavens, keen grey eyes searching the starry hosts for a sign from Eru. For many long lives of the Edain his people, the First Men, the sons of Numenor, had been content to pass their years in peace upon Westernesse. His father had pursued an existence of prosperity and languid relaxation, and his father before him. Ever since the Great Defeat and the War of the Jewels the men of the West had lived in peaceful quiet, secure in their fastness in the Blessed Sea, even as the lands of Middle-Earth grew dark.

Ever since the Great Enemy, Morgoth the Deceiver, had been cast into the outer void, the Elves and Edain had thought the world save from the macho nations of disorder and chaos. Of course there were those that would fall, those that would succumb to the shadow of black that lay upon Middle-Earth. But never again would the light be endangered upon Arda.

The Vigilant thought that this was no longer the case; yea, he knew. Elves had been fleeing westward in ever greater numbers as the years of his life had flowered. They spoke of decline upon Arda, of a nameless evil rising in the east, beyond the walls of ancient Beleriland. Tar-Minastir knew that several Numenorians, a small minority, had traveled to the shores of Middle-Earth. They sought more war, more death, more of what the War of the Jewels had taught the line of the kings and half-elven to avoid.

And they had found it. Rumors of death and battle and fire had drifted back to the Isle of the Stars; great wars of men and elves and orcs.

Eru Illuvatar knew why such things still existed upon Arda, but it passed the sight of Tar-Minastar to divine why he allowed them to be.

His mind troubled, the High King of Numenor descended the flawless white steps of his tower. There was much that he would learn of what transpired beyond Westernesse, and gazing at the stars would not teach him that.
Quite the unofficial fellow. Former P2TM Mentor specializing in faction and nation RPs, as well as RPGs. Always happy to help.

The Orcs of Isengard assembled and left for Fangorn Forest where they began to fell trees. A war was coming, and Isengard would be ready.
Saruman sent a telepathic message to Allatar: "Allatar, my friend, Middle Earth is on the brink of war, and we must be ready for it. I assembling an army of Uruks, but I am afraid The Dark Lord is trying to contact me. Be ready, fellow wizard."

The Sea
"Raise the main sail." Thorne called out, watching as the port of the Grey Havens started to fade from view, "We'll sail with the wind as far south as we can, stay by the coast and watch out for any trouble, on both land and ocean side, there's talk of evil forces about or so the Dunedain say."
"Aye Cap'n" his quartermaster, Draek called out cheekily as the small crew got to work, raising the lone main sail on the boat, it wasn't large enough to be called a proper ship, but it was large enough for Thorne and his crew.
"Where is our final port of call on this 'ere trip." this came from Nova, Thorne's sister, Navigator and general second in command.
"We'll sail down to Tolfalas and back, then head west to Numenor, see what the world's up to." Thorne replied after a few moments. They often journeyed by that route, and it was no surprise to the crew that they'd travel it again.
"Aye Bro" she replied, a wink showing she wasn't entirely serious, although the banter that carried between the siblings meant that at any time other than the battlefield their conversations always took a less than serious turn. 'And that's just it' Thorne thought to himself 'The men and women we see only know of Elves as high and aloof, better than their poor souls in most ways. Yet when some piece of trouble strikes them, and the golden prow of an elven ship comes to their shore they never think we're there to deal with there trouble, come famine or plague or fifty wargs. That's just it, that's what me and the crew are here for. To solve the problems of those who can't solve their own.
Thorne was shaken out of his thoughts, or rather hit out of them by Nova as she corrected the wheel, steering the ship once again into the wind. One look at her brothers face told Nova everything she needed to know. "Those thoughts of yours can be a dangerous place." She said, quietly enough so that only the two of them could hear. "And yet they are also a great gift, remember when to use them brother, or else you'll have to live with me dragging you along." Nova smiled as Thorne laughed at the last part.
"And we couldn't possibly want that to happen could we" he replied. "Minding you, it's not every day I'm indebted to you."
"No it's not." Nova smiled. "it depends on how many rounds of cards we've played the night before." The two laughed at that before Nova moved off, back to the coastal map that she spent most of her time looking at, checking their position as Thorne returned to steering. And so the Guard of Beleriad slipped out past Harlindon and towards the southern coasts of Middle Earth.

Sauron dispatched a Nazgul to ride to the lands of East, to contact the Easterlings, as he had heard they shared a dislike for the "free" people of the west.

The Great Ruler, received a report from a century that a Nazgul rider was seen traveling though the land. "

"Sir a Nazgul scout is approaching the city, I think they want something." Said a Witness

"Tell them if they want an alliance, the we accept." Said the King

The century bowed and left to relay the orders to the gate guards.

The King looked at the Nazgul, and nodded. "Indeed we will greatly accept your alliance, these new 'free' people are becoming a annoyance and a concern. Tell the Dark Lord that he can count on us, as we can count on you." The King said, he then waved his hand and a guard came over and handed a letter to the Nazgul, the letter read.

"We accept your alliance, we will also open trade with your nation. And we both will count on each other for military support"

"My Master will be pleased, you are a smart man, I shall now return this to him" the Nazgul said as he mounted his horse once again, and kicked its side, and he rode out of the town, dust picking up behind his horse as he left.

The Citadel of Sight, Armenelos, Arandor, Numenor

His journey back to the mighty city and port of Armenelos had been a short one atop the High King's great warhorse, but Tar-Minastar's mind was lost; he counted not the minutes in the saddle, so troubled his mind was with thoughts of how the men of Numenor might have failed Middle-Earth. It was by their folly this darkness had grown, by their apathy it had risen tall and wretched. To think that his ancestors had fought the Great Enemy himself, and now their descendants were content to let blackness creep into the Hinter Lands without raising a sword to beat back its perilous advance.

Up the marble stairways of the Palace of the White Tree his feet padded, and his eyes were downcast.

After Durin lost control over Khazad-dum he took the control over the blue mountains, preparing a dwarven army to retake his home.
But before he could achieve such thing he had to rebuild an even larger home for the dwarves.

"General!" shouted Durin from his throne... "take over the blue mountains while i'm gone, make sure that when i return that our home will be as big as the old Khazad-dum.
I'm heading towards the other dwarven realms to make sure we unite once again."

And so Durin started to pack his stuff (wich included a mithril armor and axe), he ordered 10 of his best men to follow him on his trip.
Durin would start his trip to the south, to see how many dwarves where still around there.
After that he would head to enemy territory, towards the grey mountains.

Yerru Redmaul, 9th Iron Garrison 2500 men
South of Sarn Ford
Headed for Mount Gundabad

Yerru was marching with his men, he didnt like ponies much. Though Thorin and Company had rode most of the way to the Lonely Mountain, the day was nice and the air was cool. The dwarven force was 2500 men strong and they were crossing through the shire. Their destination was Mount Gundabad and they were to make a foot hold there and try to reclaim the mountain for the dwarves at any means. That meant the men knew they might not come back or no one would come back and tell the tale of the 9th iron Garrison. They were south of San Ford and they could see the town not to far away from their current position. "Officer, tell the men to double time when we get to the town. I dont want us to be here much longer." Said Yerru to his officers that ran off to go spread the word of the orders.

ENEDWAITH:

After days of many misery and annoyance, as well as anger Arathain would awake to a hot sun, and would wear his quiver, and puts his hilt on his sword as he starts to walk. Arathain is an Ithillien/Dunedain ranger, who used to live in Gondor. He was always unruly with authority, and that led to his outcast. Arathain was now at the point of disliking everything in the East, and is now trying to find a new place. SO he continues going to the West, either going for Bree-Land, The Shire, or even Lothlorien. But whatever comes to him will.

Durin heard about Yerru Redmaul and his march to Mount Gundabad.
Durin sended one of his men to invite him to the blue mountains.
After the soldier left Durin and his men entered a cave beneath the mountains that lay to the south of the blue mountains.
Durin hoped that he would find dwarves in there who he could give a good and safe home, but when they walked through the tunnels they soon noticed that it was filled with goblins.
Durin and his men started to go deeper into the tunnels, at one point they came across a stone door, simular to the one that Durin builded at Khazad-dum.
Durin and his men tried to get entrance to it for a few hours without any luck, finally they decided to set up camp near the door.
Suddenly a soldier waked Durin up. "Durin wake up!"
Still tired, Durin stood up.
"A group of goblins are coming"
Durin and his men quickly hided into a sideway of the tunnel.
The goblins headed towards the door, apperently they where trying to open the door to.
When the goblins went back without any luck During tried again.
After a while the door finally opened and Durin and his men quickly entered.
Suddenly they realised that they had entered one of the old dwarven hideouts, these where build deep under the mountains in case dwarves where in danger.
Durin and his men followed the path that went deeper and deeper into the mountain.
When they saw light at the end of a tunnel they all where exited, exept for Durin; He knew that not only dwarves where able to enter these hideouts.
As they aproached the light they all knew what Durin meant, they noticed the ugly creatures that where dancing around the fire.
They looked like a mix of goblins and mountaintrolls..... Durin and his men waited untill the creatures stopped dancing.
When the creatures had stopped Durin and his men attacked, it was no easy fight but they managed to survive it.
When they started to search the tunnels and caves they found lots of gold and mithril, Durin and his men took as much as the could carrie back home.
Durin walked deeper into the tunnel and found some kind of jail, he inmediatly orderd his men to see if there was anyone alive.
Each soldier went his own way, and when six of them returned with empty hands it looked bad.
Suddenly a soldier called that he had a survivor, Durin quickly ran out of his tunnel into the other tunnel....
Durin arrived and looked inside a cage where 3 dwarves where stuck, Durin quickly opened the cage and gave the three water and food.
At that same time another dwarf shouted, this time from the tunnel where Durin was searching before.
In that cage there where 11 dwarves.
When they led the dwarves to the fire anotherone yelled, it was the last tunnel that was left.
Durin ran towards it and saw 6 dwarves, 3 humans and 1 elf sitting there...
Durin his soldiers where speaking about leaving the elf in her cage, but Durin was not planning to leave somebody behind.
When they got all the prisoners to the fire Durin started to ask questions.
"How did you all got here?"
A dwarf answerd "2 weeks ago our home was invaded and only we (reffering to the 14 first found darves) could escape to the hideouts, after a few days of safety we suddenly woke up with these creatures. They putted us in these cages and there we sat to die."
Durin looked towards the other 6 dwarves "and you? how did you got here?"
One of the dwarves stood up... "we where on our way to another home and needed a place to sleep so we went over here, but when we found out that it was filled with goblins we quickly ran for the hideout... finally there those creatures showed up!"
"And what about you four" Durin said while looking at the humans and elf.
"we where already here" said one of the humans (reffering to the three humand and the elf) "we are here for months now... those dwarves captured us while we where walking throught the mountains, they captured us becouse we where with an elf"
Durin was glad that everybody was safe now, and that everybody could walk... they still needed to get out of the mountain.
After a good sleep Durin and the others armed themselves again and went back to the stone door.
When they wanted to open it they heard the goblins on the other side trying to get acces to the hideout, Durin whispered the code and the door slowely opened.
The goblins where yelling out of happines that they opened the door, in meanwhile Durin and the others quickly stormed towards the goblins.
The goblins stood no chance agains the dwarves.
Once Durin and the others almost reached the exit of the tunnels they where spotted by the goblins.
A few seconds later tons of goblins stormed at Durin and his men/woman.
After a good fight Durin noticed that two of his men (that started the trip with him) had died, together with one of the humans.
But there was no time to bury them, Durin and the others quickly fled out of the cave.
When they where finally out Durin desided to continue to search the mountains, but he couldn't take everybody with him.
The 14 dwarves, 2 humans and elf would head to the blue mountains with one of Durins soldiers.

And so Durin contiued his trip with only 6 soldiers left.

Baelaric sat on the little ridge that served as his camp. All of the Brown Lands were spread out below him. In the distance Southern Mirkwood went as far as the eye could see. Turning around, he saw the borders of Mordor. The massive wall of mountains was no less than 50 miles from him. He heard a rustle behind him. His companion, Golthoan, walked up behind him and sat on the ground next to him.
"So, what is our next target?" Golthoan inquired.
" As we were out earlier, I saw some Orc tracks. They seemed to try to make for Mirkwood and get some cover. We will have to follow them."
"Hey, what's that?" Gothoan inquired.
The two looked over the top and jumped to their feet.
"It looks like a group of people. Put out the fire, quick!"
Soon the fire was out. The two agreed they were probably Orcs. The argument was then what to do. They then decided to wait until they pass, and then track them into Mirkwood or wherever they go. The Gondorian Rangers packed their bedrolls and gear. Baelaric quickly sharpened his sword and hatchet and checked his bow. They nodded to each other, and then descended from the ridge.

Yerru Redmaul, 9th Iron Garrison 2500 men
Weather Hills camp

Durin's messanger had just reached Yerru Redmaul and his men at there camp for the night in the weather hills. "So, Durin wants us to meet him at the Blue Mountains. We cant, I have my orders. The Blue Mountains are a dwarven home. That is where my men are from, our orders are to take Mount Gundabad and that is what we are going to do. Tell Durin we will meet him on our return trip if we survive." Said Yerru Rerdmaul as he sent the messanger back to where he came from to give the message to Durin. By this time the camp was done and tents were up; the sentries were in position and looked over the camp from their posts. If a attack would come they were the ones to give the warning to alert everyone else in the camp. "The sun is setting, find things for fire wood. We dont want to be cold or with out food tonight, for tomarrow we start our hike through the Misty Mountains. It will be a dangerous journey and a long one. So, take your heavy gear and put that on when we reach the mountains." Said Yerru as a howl was heard and the sound of orcs just up the hill from their position. "Men to arms, we have company!" Yelled Yerru as he grabed his axe and joined the men at the front.

The orcs and wargs ran down the hill and slamed into the dwarven lines. The orc forces was pobibly only forty strong with the wargs. Some dwarves were sent flying back due to the impact of their attack. Yerru ran towards the orc that looked like the warband leader and tried to cut his leg off. But the orc blocked the attack and punched Yerru in the face, but the orc only hit the helmet and the orc jerked his had back when he hit the helmet and let you a growl. Yerru then cut down a orc to his left and right and jumped on the orc to his right and continually planted the axe in his chest. Then he turned back the orc who was not charging him, Yerru charged him and hit is leg which sent him flying into the ground. Yerru then charged him and before the orc could react in his dazed state; Yerru cut his head off and flung it into the orc line. Then he cut down a few more orcs and a warg and the orcs started to retreat. "Dont follow them, return to camp and look at the wounded." Said Yerru. A hour later the results came in. 15 wounded and 10 dead dwarves compared to 30 dead orc and warg forces.

Word had reached Azog that the Dwarves were marching on Gundabad.
"They want war? They'll have it! Muster the Orcs! Assemble the Trolls! Arm the Uruks! Release the Wargs! We will crush them!"
With that the armies of Mt Gundabad began assembling. The Dwarves of the Blue Mountains will be destroyed!
A rider was sent to Angmar, requesting an alliance.

Tishu lifted the head of the rebel tribesman for all to see, as his men set light to the village, he then added it to the belt of skulls he had made. He got back onto his horse and smiled, behind his helmet. A twisted and evil smile, time to show the rebels true fear. The men were all hung, their intestines ripped out and used to hang them with as the women and children were forced to watch before the old woman were tied to stakes and burned. The young woman and children were chained together to be used as slaves.

Tishu turned to one of his men, who bowed to him before Tishu spoke."Tell, my lord the village has been put down." He spoke, cold like ice. The Easterling nodded and ran off to deliver the message as Tishu then watched as the dead men were held up in the air, being repeatedly stabbed in the air with halberds before they were crucified as a reminder to the rest of the tribes. Another Easterling ran up to Tishu, bowing to him."My lord, we have allied with Mordor." He spoke, before fixing his helmet. Tishu nodded and then chuckled, loudly as he looked up into the sky before looking down."Excellent. War, more war for us!"

Sauron had heard of Genioman, and his quest to unite the tribes of the region of Harad, and so he dispatched the same Nazgul, who had arrived from his journey to Rhun, to travel to Harad to ask Genioman for an alliance.

Somewhere in the northen Red mountains
Allatar and Pallando held their breath as they prepared for their first shots, Pallando fired first and struck the Easterling leader, Allatar then fired and hit an ork square. Before the Easterlings could form their renowned phalanx a group of stiffbeards charged into the rolling caravan. With support from the two wizards they made quick work of the enemy.

"These Patrols are getting more common, Allatar & I are getting reports like this from the Stonefoots and Blacklocks as well. We're spread thin enough and we've decided on training your wariors in combat our-" The pair of wizards paused for several seconds as they recieved the telepathic messages from their white brother. Allatar had begun walking toward his friend and took over as his friend recieved the same message he had just recieved. "I'm sorry, clan chief but it would appear we've been called to a meeting. We shall train your men once we're done with this, but we may be a long while." Alltar grasped his friend by the arm and beganto drag him toward their horses. "Saruman didn't ask for us to come" Pallando said as he turned around and began to walk on his own. "Saruman is doing something he shouldn't be, he needs some counsel and I fear Olorin is out on business. We need to talk with Saruman."
Outside Isengard, near Fangorn
Allatar gasped when he saw Uruks chop down the trees his old friend had been so attached to only a century ago "Something is very wrong." He said. The two moved into a gallop
