In my previous posts I went on about how Cassie likes a lot of types of music, but generally leans towards mellow music (A bit like myself, though I tolerate a ton of metal way more then I used to, which I have a hard time imagining Cassie liking. Hell, most of my favorite bands incorporate some metal in them), while Caitlin leaned towards punk and such. And how my new character that I still need to work in will like electronica.

I can't remember if I ever said if Caitlin would listen to The White Stripes, but really, now that I actually thought about it, I could see them easily being one of Caitlin's favorite bands that she listens to the most. So pretty much Caitlin can like some forms of rock, too, though some of The White Stripes is definitely punk as well.

She'd probably like some of Jack White's solo work, too.

Eventually, the second part faded away, and he joined a secret Soviet operation into the research of super humans, with his own agenda, seeking to find ways to enhance his own power. During this period of time, Kylin performed rather brutal experiments on both humans and superhumans alike, before the government shut him down. Eventually, he joined the war against the vampires, which to him, was also a means to end, as he attempted to explore further methods of manipulating his powers from them. He was, however, discovered, but, as his past remained shaded in secrecy, and as far as those who discovered him were aware he only experimented on the vampires, he was given the option of a short jail term or serving in the academy of the empowered. He picked the latter, and is still interested in carrying out various experiments related to super powers, but keeps it more low key and without people.

the key word here is "apparently". A) at least one person has some kinda tech control, b) everyone has a price, c) there are ALWAYS loopholes.

During his tenure there is where he discovered his power to morph. The first form he took that wasn't human was the Red-tailed hawk, hence his eyes. When the war ended, he was an outcast to normal society, partly due to his power and partly because he did nothing to fight the vampires. When he heard about the Highschool, he figured it would be the only place he could escape the judgemental eyes of society.
