Hosting Expereince

Liventia

Liventia, the senior host in this bid, is one of the most experienced hosts on the forum. The player behind Liventia has hosted ten WCC events and two Olympic Games' among a plethora of other tournaments.

United Gordonopia

United Gordonopia is the junior host in the bid. The only large-scale tournament he has hosted has been an offsite 'World Cup' on a site composed mainly of former II RPers using NSFS 3.0.1. He currently runs a detailed domestic league, which has been running for seven seasons, and is very familiar with RPing in his role as an II Roleplay Mentor and participant in the last four WCC cycles.

Scorination

Scorination would be done using xkoranate 0.3.3, with the SQIS formula and xkoranate style modifiers. Times of scorination will be 8-10 am UTC for Liventia, and for United Gordonopia will be at 6 am UTC before the American daylight savings time and 5 am UTC after.

Format

Ideally, the group stage will be composed of eight groups of either five or six with single round-robin play, dependent on the number of signups. The top two teams in each group will advance to the knockout rounds.

Tie-Breakers

Points will be the first tie-breaker, followed by head to head points, head to head goal differential, goal differential, wins, goals for, and finally a coin flip

RPing

A cumulative RP bonus will awarded. Teams will receive an even bonus for posting a roster, and a bonus graded based on quality and creativity will be awarded for RPing each matchday.

Teams will be allowed to set a style modifier between -5 and 5 along with their roster.

Miscellaneous

Relevant IC information will be posted in the official thread for the tournament.

When the thread is posted, all participants will be TGed to remind them of their entry in the tournament.

We don't believe it's prudent to disclose exact details. There won't be fixed increments, however. And as it's an RP-centred tournament, RP bonus will be relatively generous. We won't be using xkoranate's in-built function for it, as all teams have no rank we will input RP bonus directly as teams' ranks.
