Welcome to Minoa (and yes we did consult the requirements
of the UK Traffic Signs Manual before we published it!)
Minoa's economy, industry and tourism is growing fast. Diplomatic relations with Minoa needs to grow too: Tourists, immigrants, foreign businesspeople and migrant workers who come to Minoa rely on their country's representatives for many reasons, ranging from visa renewals and the unlikely passport theft to cultural and trade exchanges and immigration.
The Seigneur of Minoa and the Chief Governor of Charlotte Island has advised the Foreign Office to rationalise the listing of embassies that exist as part of the Mino-Charlotte Ryberg joint embassy programme. It is also envisaged that Charlotte Ryberg, better known as Minoa, will open up new trade and diplomatic relationships with new countries that come in. Either way, that means mutual benefits for participating nations and us. So err, please get a
Embassies should normally be located in the capital cities of Antjepolis, Springfield and Charleroi, which make up the greater region of Fens Faliro. That is however not compulsory as some nations may like be located in other places for various reasons: that's perfectly okay. If you do wish to set up an embassy in another city please query in advance so we can find the correct postcode and possible ranges.
Updating your embassy details?
No problem at all! In fact, from now your entry on the index of embassies on the next post will link directly to your first application form, so that you can freely amend your details on that form, at any time, within the specifications of the application form which follows next. If the address is being changed, please to drop a message here and we will update the embassy list. New fields are also being added so please check back often.
Please read the following notes before filling the application form for the first time: thank you.
IMPORTANT: under Section 86 of the Charter of Minoa:
- Nazism (German National Socialism) is banned;
- The Church of Scientology is banned;
- Minoa does not recognise the Macedonian Empire;
- Minoa does not recognise North Korea;
Also, engaging in the slave trade is also out, too, as Minoa is a WASO member.
Diplomatic Immunity Information
There exists a diplomatic immunity policy in Minoa. As long as the relevant government is recognised, its diplomat's safety and right(s) will always be guaranteed by Minoan law.
The Foreign Secretary and Royal Commissioner for Overseas Territories will further assist this immunity programme, in partnership with the said diplomat nation's international affairs ministerial body, in protecting the well-being(s) and maintaining the pre-conditioned right(s) of the said diplomat.
Section 86 applies to everyone in Minoan territory, as it is necessary in the protection of public safety and other elements essential for a stable democratic society in Minoa.

Application Process
To request and embassy in Antjepolis (Minoa), Springfield (Charlotte Island) or Charleroi (Charlotte Island), please fill in this form as specified below, then I will link your application to the leading posts: this allows you to update the info in due course. It is possible, with agreement, to incorporate your annexes with your primary state, in which case, add them in too. Here are the national conventions you will need to remember:
Location
Embassies should be in Antjepolis, Charleroi or Springfield, but if you have a special location you wish to choose other than the three (which have different postcodes) then put the requested city in and I will find the correct location of the postcode and post-territory.
Addresses
You can specify your own location within the three cities! (OOC: as with RL UK address formats) The address is normally written like this:
The first part of postcodes (in the form LL00 0LL in Minoa or L00 0LL in Charlotte Island, just like the UK system) as allocated by IPU Minoa Post for the following cities are as follows:
Charlotte Island C1-C13, C15-C18 (geographic) and C50 (islandwide)
The last part of the postcode is of your choice.
Due to a review on postcodes on NSWiki the future postcode areas may be:
Charleroi and Springfield: C
Note on Postcode prefix meanings: AJ - Antjepolis, AN - North Antjepolis, MA - Maroussi, PR - Piraus, YD - Ydra, C - Charleroi, P - Port, S - Springfield, TR - Tors
Note on Postal Territories (no longer required for application but kept here for reference): Minoa used to be two postal territories before we came into existence. They are still binding due to different postcode systems still in use. They are Minoa and Charlotte Island.
If you have a special location you wish to choose other than the three (they may have different postcodes):
- Put the requested city in your application form;
- If accepted, I will then find the correct location of the postcode and reply back with that;
- Reply to my message by stating whether you wish to have a random or specified address (using the postcode);
- If you chose a random address, I will then provide the address(es) in my reply;
- Finally, update your application form with either the address we have provided or the fixed address you provided.
- Fill the application form as usual and state "random" as the address;
- I will then provide the address(es) in my reply, if accepted;
- Update your application form with the address I have provided.
