For the first time in three days the sun was shining proudly over the now snowy hills of Gryphonia. Much to the joy of the children who came from the smaller village that were characteristic for the vale House Florent ruled over.
Among them was a older girl, who would turn 22 within the next month.
Eli Florent were different from her family in many ways, where other members of her family are only interested in political games and the gaining of influence, like all of the 5 ancient families, she was always interested in other things.
When most girls were only interested in gossip and girlish things she was different. She was not interested in the balls and parties her family hold, she was not interested in Boyfriends like most of her class. No Eli Florent was definitely strange and that made her a outcast.
Not that she cared, she liked it that way anyways. That gave her the time to study the nature or to do things her Family would called 'inproper for a young lady' right now she was forming a castle out of the snow, happy with her newest activity.
However the snow had also the unpleasant habit to absorb the sound of steps until it was to late.
"Eilsabeth, Mary-Jane Florent ! What by all gods are you doing here ? You know all to well what day today is."
Eli sighted, oh how she hated her full name but her mother refused to call her like anyone else. Of course she know what day today was, her great day.
Most girls were introduced at court with 16 or at the latest with 18 but Eli had managed to avoid it for 4 years now.
" The banquet in honor of Princess Hilde and Prince Akihiro is the perfect way to bring you on other thoughts. Honestly, last week you brought this bird into the castle and now this. You need to grow up. YOU ARE A FLORENT for heavens sake !"
She underlined each word with a stomp on the castle, killing all the brave men and details she build in it for the last 5 hours.
Sighting she stood up, there was no reason to argue with her mother, was it her fault that she cared for everyone ? No of course not. Oh how she wished to be a normal girl but the world could so unfair sometimes...

The palace was buzzing for activity since days. One week ago the first servants had invading them to prepare everything for 'His most celestial Majesty, Son of Heaven. Tenno Youseishu Satoshi' the proclaimer practiced this since days to make no mistake with all the titles.
A good part of the palace was bared from any entrance to properly bless and ferrish them.
All in all it was pretty insane but Princess Hilde Eirikson was still happy about all the commotion. It helped her to came on other thoughts. The wedding in the Fey'ri queendom was still in her bones and dreams.
It was not as bad as in the last weeks but still she would be only be happen after she was married and the marriage was consumnated.
However it would not be until later today that she would finally be reunited with her love.
She would be happy to see Asami and Sakura again, although later one would most certainly pull another stunt to convince this Constannian Prince of her love.
She sighted, yes this marriage would be everything but not boring. For the last time she stand on a stool so the tailor could get the last adjustments.
She really couldn't await the day of the marriage and it was still 2 days away...

" This is a pretty new addition, someday we want to establish the embassies of our closest allies here. Lovely area especially if you have pets. Also you are away of nosy tourists mostly." Trough the trees the royal palace came into view. Despite of the name and the changes in the last centuries everyone could still see the original fortress and many aspects of the prior security were still active. " Of course sir, we have a few exotic ones and one fresh from the hunt, not half a day old I believe. It should be served on the banquet tonight but they have parts in very fine condition left."

It was not as bad as in the last weeks but still she would be only be happen after she was married and the marriage was consumnated.
However it would not be until later today that she would finally be reunited with her love.
She would be happy to see Asami and Sakura again, although later one would most certainly pull another stunt to convince this Constannian Prince of her love.
She sighted, yes this marriage would be everything but not boring. For the last time she stand on a stool so the tailor could get the last adjustments.

As on cue a portal open near the entrance of the royal palace. The portal was wide enough for a whole procession. The Emperor of the Chrysanthum Elves and his wife lead the procession. Followed by Akihiro and his brothers. Then the Princesses then followed. Princess Asami was in her finest full armor and looked the part of Chrysanthum Elf warrior. Sakura look the part of a proper princess. The group where flanked by guards in full armor and carrying swords that gleemed in the light. The procession more in front of the Phoenix Palace and waited to be properly greeted.

Dimitri smiled at Sarah as she left. "She seems nice" Dimitri said to Frederik before he could respond. After listening to him he replied "all right I'll be careful. But don't think I won't take her up on her offer of being a guide" Dimitri said with a sly grin, he said as they made their way to the room.

'She can be nice if she want something from you but in the next second she's a cruel beast.' he thought by himself while they stepped the steps to the highest set of rooms.
It was a pretty comfortable suite, including a living room with Panorama Window where you could see a good part of New Hope under you, a widescreen TV and a comfortable couch, also the suite include a small library, a good equiped bath, a kitchen and a bedroom with kingsize bed. Living Room and Bedroom had also a cozy chimmey...

As soon as the first crackles of magic were noticeable a guard gave a command back to the palace. Within 5 minutes a group of high Phoenixians dignitaries were heading to the delegation. Lead by the king himself and Lord Councellor Caroline Fjordson.
The Elves had managed to open the portal directly in front of a red carpet and the Guards formed a formidable Spalier for the group. As the protocol ordered everyone but the king sunk to the knees when they closed the distance to 10 feet and the king took the last steps himself.
He had a friendly smile when he approached them and waited till a proclamator had down all the titles and names the group contains. " Welcome in Phoenixia your celestial highness, on time as always." He waited till the translator had all that translated. Not for the Emperor but for a good part of the elves...
