Name: Aylin Sadik
Age: 62
Gender: Female
Appearance: Primula Aylin
Class: Mage
Personality:
A stoic and polite individual, Aylin rarely speaks out of line, if at all. Hardly a sociable person, she often spends extended periods alone in her study. A studious child, one of Aylin's only hobbies is to immerse herself in the vast knowledge of any cathedral library.
Skills/Knowledge:
  • History - Her speciality in particular is ancient history of Iak'Thea's home Cathedral, Gaea. Though much of this information had been long lost, Aylin can at least trace the origins of the Redemit to the time of their predecessors. At the very least, the very tongue spoken by the Order of Ay originated from their predecessors.
  • Arcane knowledge
Strengths: Large magic reserve, intelligent
Weaknesses: Frail, naive, inexperienced, distrustful (especially with Keroboros members), self-centred, anti-social, emotionally unstable, afraid of heat
Bio: A dervish in the Order of Ay, Aylin was born on the frozen Cathedral of Inci. Her father, Asuman Sadik, was a commander tasked with protecting the Headmaster of Hazine (Almania) at the time of the Ride of the Valkyries. When Kerberos unleashed the Walküre upon Hazine, Asuman prioritized what little time they were spared to evacuating the Headmaster and the ruling elites over the general population, effectively sacrificing the planet to the hellish inferno. As a result, his actions won the applause of the Grand Headmaster and the council for preserving the knowledge of the Hazine dervish. In contrast, having been promoted to a Yoldaş (Turkish: Companion), his former comrades accused him of avarice, willing to sacrifice billions of innocents just so he could rise the ranks of the Order. Rumours of his devious act became a source of lasting shame for Asuman, and on Aylin's 20th birthday, departed without a trace into a blizzard, presumed dead soon after. The loss of her mother to illness soon after left Aylin alone and orphaned. Brought up under the tutledge of an elder dervish, she soon came to blame the Order of Kerberos for bringing shame to her family name and for the slaughter of her people on Hazine.

Now edging into her puberty, Aylin has proven to be powerful adept at magic, mastering some of the most complex spells known to the order. The youngest dervish to date to be inducted into the ranks of the Order, she now wanders the world as an archiver, seeking to deliver what knowledge she could find to the Order of Ay. However, tales of the lost chalice soon caught the ears of Ay, and thus the council, perhaps against their better judgement, soon chose her for the task. But with more experienced alternatives, one might question their choice for sending Aylin, of all people...
Equipment:
  • Armour (Hashashin on the right) - Pure white cloak made of a kevlar-like material, worn over her normal clothes. A diamond pendant, forged by a blacksmith of ages pasproven produce a shield generator with variable settings depending on the amount of power she puts into it. Her gloves are equipped with an amplifier which enables her to better direct her magical spells.
  • Magic - Hydromancy, particularly ice magic. While she can cast limited healing spells, her main spells involve defensive spells and summoning ice familiars to fight on her behest.
  • Pegasus - Mücevher, meaning 'jewel' in Inci tongue, is the primary mass production Pegasus of the Order of Ay.
Additional Information:
Order of Ay

Based on the frigid Cathedral of Inci, the Order of Ay is a dervish order dedicated to the preservation of knowledge across the known universe. Gathering much of the lost knowledge across the universe, the Order meticulously stores and archives their hard-won information in their underground library, safe for posterity. Formed by the first dervish Grand Headmaster Yunus I, the order soon transformed their frozen wasteland to a vast complex of archives and studies, extending their already vast collection with their own budding research. With time, the libraries of Inci became renowned throughout the universe, and the dervish of Ay came to consider their archives sacred ground, to be seen only by those worthy to access its vast stores.

However, as time wore on, and challenges by rival orders began to wear down their ranks, the dervish of Inci begin to grow isolated, wary of the outside world. Unable to hold their own against more powerful orders, Inci saw itself pillaged and razed to the ground countless times, its once peaceful people increasingly angered by the violence against them. It was thus they descended down a different path, one that would change the course of the order forever.

When Grand Headmaster Yunus VI took over, he proposed a radical new plan to safeguard Inci's libraries. Having ventured into the home Cathedrals of proud militant orders, he grew enthralled by the vast powers and prestige wielded by these powerful knights. Returning to Inci with stores of tomes containing military tactics and strategies, he sought to transformed the once docile librarians to a powerful fighting force, outlining a plan to expand Ay's control over its surrounding stars as a buffer against any future aggressor.

As Yunus' words of hatred spread over the snows, his people grew as ruthless as the blizzards of the cathedral itself, a merciless enemy bent on subjugating the stars and purging the villains who had desecrated their holy cathedral. Evidently, all outsiders, innocent or not, became malicious raiders in their eyes, suspicion and paranoia becoming the norm for the dervish. As Yunus put his plan into action, the victims soon became the marauders themselves, constructing a vast fleet of Pegasii and forcing their neighbours to heel under their will.

Evidently, Yunus himself became intoxicated with power, becoming a full-pledge dictator as he ruled from Inci with an iron fist. Resistance from his ill-gotten colonies were crushed with impunity, and his new subjects either forced to swear fealty to Ay, or be purged. To demonstrate his point, he even renamed the cathedrals he conquered by the Inci tongue, stripping the cathedrals of such names as 'Almania' to 'Hazine'. His brutality knew no bounds as he strayed the dervish even further from their goals. With each new conquest came the horrors of war, and by Ay's greatest territorial extent, Yunus had become an egomaniac that would denounce even the teachings of the God-Knight Aradain. Ultimately, however, Aradain did not take his madness well.

When news of Hazine's total destruction in the hands of Kerberos reached Inci, the dervish under Yunus began to fear once again. Shocked by the destruction of one of their cathedrals and opening their eyes to the brutality of their leader and themselves, the various Headmasters of the colonies staged a coup against the Grand Headmaster, dismembering the mad leader and tossing most of his flayed remains into an icy gorge. His successor, Grand Headmaster Ulvi, negotiated a peace with an equally bereaved Hochmeister Hister, securing a truce in exchange for the remaining Almanian worlds occupied by Ay.

A pacifist seeking to return the order to its original purpose, Ulvi had been striving to lead the dervish of Ay back on the path of knowledge to this day. However, there are still many who cling on to Yusuf's fanatical teachings, and among them are descendants of Hazine settlers seeking vengeance against Kerberos for their heinous act. Denouncing Ulvi as a traitor, they plot to unseat him with a leader as hardline as their idol. With factional lines threatening to tear Ay apart from within, one can only question what path the order will take from here.

Name: Bhima Pasternak
Age: 352
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Image

Class: Mage
Personality:
Has a semi-innocent attitude, but is slightly reserved in public. Despite this, he he somewhat of a perv. Though he has a habit of carrying around at least one spell book at all times, often it is discovered that he hides a *cough* girly magazine betwixt the pages. Claims not to be a perv,  instead 'just curious'. Often adopts a scholarly attitude.
Skills/Knowledge:
•Spends many of his hours studying spells of increasing strengths.
•Has a thorough knowledge of many species
•He's able to touch his tongue to his elbow(read: Useless Skill)
•Not such a bad cook, either.
Strenghts:
•Is a strong spell-caster
•Has a knack for thinking on his feet
•Can run pretty fast
Weaknesses:
•Lewd comments are not the best of ideas when accompanied by women...
•Not always the most outgoing person
•Not the strongest in physical strength
Bio:

Born into an Order of Mages, named Order of the Sixth Force—third to last symbol—(thus titled because of their citadel's placement in relation to their sun/light source), Bhima Pasternak was trained to be a Mage from an early age. It is because of his devotion to his spells that he has progressed steadily through the ranks of the order. Though his youthful appearance, his experience proves that it is his most deceiving quality.

Bhima's only parents were the fellow mages that trained him, never knowing an actual family. Raised on the Citadel of Arderon, he grew up in a peaceful environment of greenery. This was, in part, because many of the Mages of the Sixth Force were pacifist monks that devoted their time fully to their studies.

However, Bhima always did have a tendency to deviate himself from the mainstream of the Order, and due time, began immersing himself in many kinds of fight magic. His second home, however, was not a dojo of training as one might expect. He spent hours in the main Library of the Order, any minor curiosity driving himself into hours of careful study.

His interest in the Chalice is to gain more information on the Great Knight Aradain himself. He can only imagine what secrets could be unlocked from finding it.
Equipment:
Book of Spells: Always carries at least one hefty volume along with him. And yes, he actually does use it for research along with storage of his...other reading material.
Different Editions Bhima Reads:
Earth Magic for Dummies: Title self-explanatory.
Advanced Earth Magic for Dummies: Advanced variant of above
Transmutation of Lesser Worms: Written by Mayuri Kurotsuchi on the scientific approach of transforming annoying people into multiple creatures that are fun to step on/do your bidding.
The Locke Method: Renowned Mage's Dinana Lock's secrets to identifying chemical imbalances of spells gone wrong.
Practical Applications of Trigonometry in Advanced Incantations: A wonderful mix of math and magic.
Additional Information:
Bhima is somewhat of a wannabe scientist as well. Though his name indicates it, he has no connection to any Indian bloodlines.

Name: Serah Bathys
Age: 167
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Image

Class: Knight
Personality: Serah has a rather seclusive personality. There's a thick shell surrounding her true nature, which is why she rarely reveals it to strangers and often distances herself from them with apathetic behaviour. She is quick to form an opinion about someone, and once she does it's hard to chance it, often resulting in a cold shoulder to those that she doesn't respect.

Once her shell is breached, she reveals her true nature to her friends and loved ones as a caring and protective person who would risk her life for their sakes, which often results in her endangering herself and prevents her from using her 'ultimate' fighting style which relies on complete concentration.
Skills/Knowledge: Both athletic and very flexible, Serah has a remarkable speed which she often makes good use of during combat, often sacrificing armour in exchange for more mobility to evade any strikes. Over time, she has deviated from the swordsmanship she was taught and now relies on a style that combines her speed and agility with strategy, where she calculates and predicts her opponent's attacks and responds with very precise strikes that often have a very small margin of error. In addition, she is also very skilled in an art that greatly resembles one formerly practise by some humans, battōjutsu. Serah also has experience in several martial arts which she often combines to form her own style which relies on the same characteristics as he sword style, as well as vice grips and very precise strikes.

Serah is a very logical and mathematical thinker, having an extensive knowledge in maths - which she also applies in combat. This sometimes becomes a bad habit, as she tends to apply the calculation of chance in daily life as well. Because she lives on her own, she has some practical skills as well, which includes some technical knowledge.
Strengths: As previously mentioned, Serah is much faster than most. She's also pretty strong, both physically and mentally.
Weaknesses: She is often careless in regard to protecting her ideals and friends, which compromises her concentration and abilities. Despite her offensive strength, she isn't very durable but still pushes herself over and beyond her own limits, landing in more life-threatening situations than she should because she neglected to take care of herself.
Bio: Born into a proper family of Knights, Serah was raised with the principles and ideals of her family. They were strict, very strict, which resulted in little Serah developing a thick emotional shell - most likely because her father taught her to repress them. Paying no heed to her emotional needs throughout her entire childhood, Serah became almost obsessed with honing her skills to make her father proud, resulting in her gradually developing a combat style that suited her best.

Her father didn't really appreciate this initiative, forcing his daughter to adhere to the traditional school of combat he was taught by his own father, thus temporarily inhibiting Serah's progress. Still, here training went very smooth and she was at the top of her class, becoming a very promising Knight.

When her father died, Serah immediately threw her father's up-tight traditions out the door and developed her own style, becoming somewhat renowned. Many say that when she fights it looks like she's dancing, claiming there is grace in her movements. Serah never confirmed these ideas.
Equipment:
Atomos resembles a traditional katana, with the obvious exception that it emits an unusually dense energy field which allows the user to cleave through a lot of materials where other weapons would fail. It is kept in a sheath (unlike Fafnir, which she keeps in a pouch in its compact form), which Serah also uses in combat on occasion. (for a picture, see Zodiac. The sword in the picture resembles it, but does not resemble a katana as Atomos does)
Fafnir is a very light blade that doubles as some sort of tonfa. In its blade form it emits a dense energy field on the sharp side for offensive purpose, while the back of the blade can emit a dense energy field for defensive or non-lethal combat. By using the back of the blade, Serah can deflect magical attacks as long as she has the correct time, which she can accommodate for with her quick reaction speed. In the form of a tonfa it can spread out its field and emit a shield for defensive purposes.
Zodiac is a light/medium armour set that can be summoned using a module that Serah carries around with her at all times. When activated, the module covers Serah's entire body in a bright field that replaces her current clothing with the armour. It features an integrated shield that is capable of blocking most magic attacks as long as it's receiving energy to power the deflection shield. Additionally, it absorbs some of the power of the magic spell as it hits the field. The shield itself is NOT attached to the armour itself, rather being connected through a field that resonates between the armour and the shield itself. Usually it is located on Serah's back, but it can be directed to relocate itself above several nodes along her armour, being both her arms and her chest. Alternatively, the shield can also be wielded manually.

Looks good so far, Esty.

Also, @Wolf: I forgot to mention, you should probably toss in something about your character's cloak armor having a shield generator, because otherwise you're, well, pretty vulnerable.

@Rup: Uh, probably soon, but I'll have a few days of inactivity soon, probably. I'll still try to do stuff though.

Also, @Wolf: I forgot to mention, you should probably toss in something about your character's cloak armor having a shield generator, because otherwise you're, well, pretty vulnerable.

Righty, looks good, I'll add you and Ranbo to the OP later, feeling lazy right now.

Also, might I ask why she is supposed to seem familiar? :P.

Remember PHOBOS? Of course, Rup and Agri would be more familiar with my archetypes here.

Name: Kolémeyn Aspirlacial
Age: 409
Gender: Male
Appearance: Seven-and-a-half-foot-tall, aquiline figure, whip-thin and fit. Steel-grey hair and irises so light as to seem nearly white, in contrast to his tanned skin from the reflective snow of his home. His nose is bent crookedly left and his left cheekbone bears a pale scar from an encounter in his childhood. Reedy, high-pitched voice most of the time- when it drops low it signals his wrath is near.
His sword, Nulínistel, or "Pall of Despair, fits well with his surname, "Glacial Mist". His armor is pure white with deep purple markings of his Order, the Teeth of Winter, inscribed on the left of the chestpiece and on each shoulder, as well as the back. A shield generator on the right shoulder emits a faint purple aura when activated.
Class: Magus Ensis (78.3/21.7 towards sword)
Personality: More than a little psychotic, Kolémeyn is rather unstable in his emotions, prone to violent fits of rage or strange, calm moments. His capacity for brutality is in many cases unrivaled. He takes great pleasure not in pain- which he himself abhors- but in confusion and chaos, forces he fancies himself to serve. Cold, regal, and cares little for anyone other than himself. Often sadistic and overly dismissive of those of "inferior intellect".
Skills/Knowledge: Tactics and Strategic Planning, Camouflage, Physics and Chemistry, Psychology, Ice and Cold-Based Magic
Strengths: Brilliant, fantastic endurance, resistance to cold, great knowledge of science, obsessively determined, creative, meticulous
Weaknesses: Untrusting, suspicious, prone to gaps in judgement while raging, unstable temperament, cruel character, impatient
Bio: Perhaps much of Kolémeyn's persona is a product of his earliest years. Born Kolémeyn Laníheratad (Looks Towards Home) on Cathedral Holtriln to a family of merchants, he despised his culture's pacifistic ways and looked desperately for a way off of his homeworld. Sadly, none appeared, as the Knights of Holtriln were little more than an honor guard for the Regent on feast days. Most of the population were farmers, and all save a handful of outlaws had long since forsaken war. So it was, to the young boy Kolémeyn, a gift from Aradain when at 48 years of age the marauding Order Kaskartiam descended on the peaceful agricultural world with no opposition from the Eyes or the populace. Within months, the leaders of the Order on Holtriln had seen the spark the boy showed and made him squire to an aging Knight, Alcinus. After three cycles, Kolémeyn stole everything his mentor owned, including his Pegasus, and left Holtriln as he had dreamed.

Now with some small understanding of the art of the blade, as well as the finest titles from the long disused libraries and universities of his home, Kolémeyn set off to find another master, one more able to teach his power-hungry soul. For twelve years the wild hunter searched before ending his travels on Laz'Anthir. Home to the Order of the Ravensight, it was a harsh and revitalizing place, one whose rough, coarse inhabitants and their startlingly pure meritocracy gave Kolémeyn both a reason to prove himself and countless opportunities. After one savage duel in which the pseudo-Knight decapitated his opponent and then proceeded to disembowel his second and maim two friends, he was locked up. When put on trial for murder, his answer as to his motive became Ravensight legend. "My honor was impugned. It was not enough to merely defeat my enemy, he needed to know he had lost. Of course, Naliz's feeble intellect could not understand this, so I made an example of him. And his friends." This arrogant, brutal reply caught the ear of the Order's leader, who pulled him off the execution block to train him further. His hope was that the boy would learn wisdom with his training. He was wrong.

Once more, Kolémeyn turned on his benefactors, murdering eight full Knights in their sleep before fleeing. His former Order pursued him for eighty years, leaving a trail of blood and a name of fear across that region of the universe. It was during this time of savagery and learning that Kolémeyn first forsook the surname of Laníheratad for his legendary one of Aspirlacial, and crafted Nulínistel in secret. From this point on, much of the Pale Knight's tale becomes shrouded in uncertainty. Legend and truth blend to form a ill-begotten conglomerate of fear, and time blurs the lines between reality and dreams. As Aspirlacial, Kolémeyn personally looted and burned several Cathedrals with a small band of followers, drove the Orders of Ravensight and Golden Dawn nigh unto extinction, and fought in the Ride of the Valkyries- which some say he masterminded- alongside the Order of Kerberos. For a time, he served them, then fled in a stolen and modified Valkyrie, the same he uses to this day, after a questionable incident involving a volcano and an Eye of Aradain. It was then that he encountered the Teeth of Winter. Legend has it he ripped their leader and sage's throat out after stripping his armor from him, piece by piece, with his magic. He then assumed command of the Order until fifteen years ago.

A stranger arrived then, a young man by the name of William Corvinus, last of the Ravensight. There was something about him that penetrated even the icy heart of Kolémeyn, and the older man feared him for it. Facing what he believed was certain death at the hands of this mere child, he pledged to renounce his ways and not to speak except in teaching or in kindness- a vow he has not broken since. . .
Aspirlacial, seemingly reformed, has spent the last ten years, aiding those he once slaughtered and seeking knowledge to repair his shattered, black heart. He received the letter from Pandracon and was convinced that the quest for the Chalice would heal him. He set off alone, with the blessings of his Order and the relief of Cathedral Striandal at his departure, seeking redemption.
Equipment:
Nulínistel- Around four feet long, pitted, chill grey blade roughly diamond-shaped in cross-section. Resembles a standard medieval sword but on a much larger scale. When activated by a dial on the crossguard, purple energy surrounds the blade and focuses at its point, projecting from there as Kolémeyn deems fit.

Two identical suits of armor, various books and scrolls, cold-weather gear, icepicks and ice axes, other less remarkable and more unusual personal effects, and his
Pegasus: Advenirad Umberadnid ("Herald of Shadow")
Looks like this.
Armed with three beams of purple energy mounted beneath the nosepiece.
Additional Information: Sorry, but no.

Not fond of him supposedly destroying two Cathedrals and owning a Pegasus armed with energy beams, though the rest looks fine to me. There's also the fact that you're dealing with part of the canon that is not of my creation, so I'll have to wait to see what Wolfy and Agri have to say about that.
