I prefer Fox News' reliable and non-biased analysists instead. Silver has gotten a bit lazy, he won't be predicting this election correctly. Mark my words.

The polling stations in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire have opened at midnight. The first ballots of election day 2012 have been cast.

MSNBC has called New Hampshire for Barack Obama.

Sure you can, it's just horribly inconvenient. You could not vote, but this is a close election so your vote will count more than you think.

Floridians waited 7 hours just to cast a ballot. Buck up and vote.

"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Election voting is actually excusable in most cases. Take my advice: If you really care about the consequences, get out there and vote.

Plus you should be able to cast a provisional ballot at a polling location closer to you than your 'home' one.
