The Freisan Farf Freitball Francitian (Official Farf Football Association in English) has officially presented AOCAF37's roster:

Image

Manager: Forretio Matino (Almost sacked by now)
Assistant Manager: Ko Kokolalloejokjoaka
Style Modifier: +5

GK1:
Name: Erfaon Lisdiren (Main team)
Age: 24
Team: Ferdullaele FC
Style: Acrobatic goalkeeper
Bio: He was discovered by a Gorfalle Town scout by the age of 18. Quickly rose to fame by becoming Farfadillis' league's goalkeeper of the year and was consequently bought by Ferdullaele FC (Farfadillis' best team). He can stop almost any shot, but will almost always lose the ball due to poor handling. Due to this, the defenders that play with him are always next to him when someone shoots, to prevent an opponent's striker to score. He was really good on WC 61's Qualifyings, despite the insane amount of goals Farfadillis conceeded.

GK2:
Name: Yintíñoin Redfaer
Age: 38
Team: Friguista Farfa FC
Style: Traditional Goalkeeper, very slow
Bio: Farfadillis' oldest goalkeeper, used to be the main goalkeeper until age hit him. He's part of the roster because of his pretty unusual talent, stopping almost any penalty, will always enter the field on minute 120 (given the condition the game is going to end as a draw). He didn't play a single match on WC 61's Qualifyings.

LB:
Name: Illi Setentriona (Main Team)
Age: 22
Team: Tympú AC
Style: Can join the attack precisely, good at defending
Bio: Illi Setentriona has been called in Greffe's place, he was called due to the manager change, as Forretio Matino is even more attacking. He's really good when joining the attack, really good at tackling and short, but fast. His dribblings are impressive and is almost always unmarked. He won the award for best defender on the last FFL.

LB:
Name: Shutufragafardeliidis Meindá
Age: 36
Team: Llefraga FC
Style: Violent and foul-mouthed, poor technically, very slow.
Bio: Shutufragafardeliidis is pretty bad actually, the only reason why he is (sometimes) on the starting line-up is because adversaries fear him. He's broken more legs than he has scored goals. We don't know why he's still being called for the national team.

CB:
Name: Yung Chinsúa (Main Team) (Captain)
Age: 23
Team: Feardallis' Wanderers
Style: Fast defender, prone to injuries
Bio: Yung is Saindí's heir, he's young and, even though he's not really similar to him, he's now the starting CB as Saindí has retired. He's not as prone to injuries as he was before, because he's been doing heavy excercises and has therefore become stronger. Saindí wanted him to be the captain. His performances during WC 61's Qualifyings were overall decent, with good matches and bad matches. He's demonstrated he's an aerel threat in spite of being short.

RB:
Name: Agundí Frêndê (Main Team)
Age: 23
Team: Mabel Wigglytuffs (Northern Sunrise Islands)
Style: Very selfish, awesome dribbler.
Bio: Ferdullaele FC had always been interested on Agundí, but, as his father was the founder of his team (Fryi Frêndê), he had constantly rejected every offer. He's the best dribbler of the team, but the most selfish player too. He's been sold to another team, in what Farfs call an epic comeback after Ferdullaele FC won the tournament, not giving them the star they had been seeking to have for 2 years is an obvious revenge, but a funny one. He's one of Matino's favourites due to his playing style, his performances on the last matches of Farfadillis were impressive.

RB:
Name: Cundo Nessi
Team: Flying Jellyfish
Age: 20
Style: Almost perfect tactically sepaking
Bio: Nessi was born in Ruland, known as the "3rd world state", a state where almost everyone is living in poverty, and starving. He was one of those kids who didn't get an education because of it. However, he did play a lot of football and managed to be spotted by one of Flying Jellyfish's scout. He's almost perfect when it comes to tactics. Just Frêndê's back-up, but is flexible and may enter for anyone in the defense, or defesnsive midfield if they get injured/tired/on low-form/carded and Matino foresees a red card.

LM:
Name: Friekder Dandalleion (Main Team)
Age: 19
Team: Cednia Beach (Turori)
Style: Extremely Fast, always helps on the offense, a bit on the defense, tends to score goals by outrunning players.
Bio: After being the best Farf player on the Swamp Soccer WC 2, he was called by Ferdullaele FC and started playing on Farfadillis' first division, becoming loved by the fans (who already loved him because of his performance on the SSWC2) and was called for the national team, quickly replacing Bujkanovic. He's a very promising player, and is an example of commitment. He's been demonstarting why he's on the starting line-up. Recently reached Quarterfinals of the Globe Cup.

LM:
Name: I7'imund Bujkanovic
Age: 31
Team: Ferdullaele FC
Style: Fast, good on a defensive point of view.
Bio: I7imund is a fast midfielder, almost unstoppable on a long run. He's been the Best Farfadillian Player of the year twice since his debut. His youth team was Tympú FC, but Ferdullaele FC bought him before he even debuted. He's not as fast as he was last world cup. As he performed terribly last world cup, a Swamp Soccer player, loved by the fans, and who is faster than him, took his place on the main team, but he recovered it during the WC 61 Qualifyings as an LB. Sadly, he's lost his place on the Main Team once again to Setentriona.

CDM:
Name:
Frion Wanderis (Main Team)
Age: 21
Team: Ferdullaele FC
Style: Very good defensively, very good dribbler, decent passer.
Bio: Frion Wanderis is a very good in important areas of the midfield, specially on a defensive point of view, the bad thing is he's a bit selfish, and that's not very good for a CDM. He's a very important player of the team now, and never gets substituted. Another really good player, he's been playing really well lately.

CDM:
Name: Setulpá Meustunus
Age: 34
Team: Ñandfe FC
Style: Defensive minded
Bio: Setulpá still is Wanderis' shadow, even though he has much more experience, he's just half as good as Wanderis in everything and he probably won't enter on any match this WC, again. Another wonder, why is he being called for the national team? The answer is simple, he's the team's amulet as of now.

CM:
Name: Yurpá Mêndêlöíndçêl (Main Team)
Age: 18
Team: Ferdullaele FC
Style: VERY energetic, decent when it comes to technique and superb defensively.
Bio: Yurpá is one of the most promising players here. He's not good with the ball, but he's a ball-recovering machine. He was named most promising young player by the Farfadillis commitee twice. He's finally gotten a solid place on the midfield, playing with O'rosso really gives him cnofidence. He's never the main protagonist of matches, but his constant steals always give Farfadillis an advantage.

CAM:
Name: Matí O'rosso (Main Team)
Age: 20
Team: Ferdullaele FC
Style: Fast-paced, agile, playmaker
Bio: The best player on the team. He's the centre of every attack and can assist from very difficult positions. His weak point is dribbling, as he's used to pass the ball as soon as possible since he started playing football. He's very passive and never complains to the referee. His free kicks are almost impossible to stop. He was the best Farf player on WC 60's Qualifyings, soring 9 goals, sadly, he couldn't stop the team from being the lowest on our group. He was also the best player WC 61's qualifyings, too. He's supposed to lead the team this AOCAF.

CAM:
Name: Ichi Tuzzio (Main Team)
Age: 18
Team: Ferdullaele FC
Style: Very good at shooting from long distances, excellent dribbler, agile, and good playmaker.
Bio: Ichi Tuzzio was originally born in Dodeni, Dandillis, but due to the fact that if you're born on Dandillis you get Farfadillis' nationality too (and viceversa), he'll be playing for Farfadillis, because he hasn't played any official competition for Dandillis, just unofficial ones. He's demonstrated he's a hell of a player by shining last Qualifyings. He's the player most adversaries should fear along with O'rosso.

RM:
Name:
Rancisc Tenian (Main Team)
Age: 20
Team: Gwinevra Barbarians (Apox)
Style: Playmaker, horrible at defending.
Bio: Tenian is one of the first Farf players to play abroad. He is an incredible playmaker. He's the first Faroleran* player to play on the national team. Matino decided to call him for the starting eleven over Minduruguatzel. He's demonstrated that he's good enough for the national team and he may be one of the few things Matino has done well.

ST:
Name:
Yolo Fu
Age: 20
Team: Ferdullaele FC
Style: Ideal Poacher
Bio: After Numbá decided to retire from the natinoal team for an undfefined amount of time, Matino called Ferdullaele FC's current centerforward: Fu. He's the ideal poacher: Exquisite heading, good finishing, good at reacting, good positioning and fast on short distances. He's demonstrated what he's worth, but the battle for being the starter against Johans will continue, he's losing it for now.

ST:
Name:
Neguimbelefra Fragreda
Age: 27
Team: Feardallis' Wanderers
Style: Slow poacher
Bio: Neguimbelefra is VERY slow, and often has troubles with the offside law, but he's a superb poacher and makes up for it completely. He's one of the best players technically speaking. He's lost his place on the starting eleven with Ichi Tuzzio, Farfadillis new promise. Ths is partly because of his horrendous performance at world cup 60. He isn't getting any playing time lately, not even back at Farfadillis with his team, Feardallis' Wanderers, who are already seeking a replacement.

ST:
Name:
Septimus Johans (Main Team)
Age: 18
Team: Ferdullaele FC
Style: Finisher, Awesome Dribbler and good crosser
Bio: Septimus is one of Farfadillis' best strikers, currently, everyone has put their eyes on this young striker, being known for being "the perfect finisher". He was one of the best players on the WC 61 Qualifyings and demonstrated he's a good crosser and dribbler. He's still fighting for the place as starter against Fu, but will start every game, being replaced in some of them.

Who the Hell are Audioslavia?
Audioslavia are an ancient nation that has been around the football scene for centuries. Audioslavia participated in World Cups 4 to 29, made an abortive comeback in World Cup 37 and, as puppet Silexhera, entered World Cups 46 to 49. The have entered every cup since WC59.

Audioslavia are former champions of the Baptism of Fire, AOCAF and U21 World Cup. They have reached the final of the World Cup on four occasions (losing every time) and have reached as far as the semi-finals in the Cup of Harmony.

Ten Things Audioslavia's football team are famous for:
1: The claret and green striped kits, complete with white pinstripe. They have been like this, with the odd exception, since World Cup 4.
2: Jeremy Jaffacake. The indescribable Jaffacake has been a satellite of the national team - both as sports journalist and member of the FFA - since World Cup 6. It is unwise to cross Jeremy Jaffacake. In fact, it's often unwise to even look at him.
3: Choking in major finals. Audioslavia are the record holders for losing the most amount of World Cup finals, in WCs 12, 19, 20 and 29. We've also lost a few minor-tournament finals.
4: Being almost unbeatable in semi-finals. Audioslavia's senior side have a scary 8-1 record in major semi-finals.
5: Off pitch entertainment: A fervent, yet well-behaved support. Audioslavia's fans are generally friendly, enjoy mixing with the locals and are partial to the odd litre of whisky, not to mention the tabloid antics of one Jeremy Jaffacake.
6: On-pitch anti-entertainment. The Audioslavian national team have always played effective, if uninspiring football, prefering to play solidly and wear opponents down than do anything too risky or spectacular.
7: Building rivalries: Audioslavia count, and have counted, a lot of nations as their 'rivals'. They are, in order of healthiest to most hated: Lemmitania, Karditan, New Montreal States, Halfassedstates, Iansisle, Vilita/Turori, Bedistan, Squornshelous, Rejistania, Total n Utter Insanity, Krytenia U19s, Krytenia U21s, Krytenia 'C'. Krytenia 'B', Them. (Notable exceptions: Starblaydia ('the enemy of mine enemy is a team we've never played very often'), Armed Bears/Bears Armed ('caused Silexhera and Audioslavia all sorts of problems in the past, but are too cute to be hated'), Dorian and Sonya ('you can't hate someone you pretty much have the measure of, and we know for a fact they're about five foot two'), Liverpool England ('good Audioslavian teams have beaten bad LivEng/Liventian teams. Good Liv teams have beaten bad Audioslavia teams. We've played each other plenty of times, but never with too much needle'.))
8: Audioslavia have had, throughout their history, a disproportionate amount of wingers with names beginning with 'J'.
9: Audioslavia are the first and only team to have been eliminated from the group stage of a World Cup on penalties.
10: Words. And lots of them.

Audioslavian footballers tend to be a little on the small side compared to modern NS athletes. The average height for a goalkeeper or a defender is around 6'0, 5'7 for a full-back, 5'10 for a midfielder and 5'9 for a striker (although the 'target-man' style strikers tend to be nearer 6'0). All of Audioslavia's players, throughout history, have been human and male. Our players tend to be fairly quick with a lot of stamina and physical fitness. Our passing, positional play and general technique is fairly poor, although this is often counter-balanced by the input of foreign managers and/or nationalised foreign footballers. Are goals usually come near the end of games as our high stamina wins through.

There is also a third kit, which is mostly gold, if neither of these is suitable.

Firstly, the NSWiki page is not complete, but still worth a look...

It's important to note that the team itself generally doesn't consciously defend. They press high up the pitch though and try to win the ball back as quickly as possible.

They will slow down when ahead later in the game, but only so they don't unnecessarily provide opportunities to lose possession and/or concede. This doesn't mean they wont take the opportunity to score if it presents itself, though...

Set piece preferences (in order):
Corner kick takers: Whichever wingers/wide forwards are on the pitch
Penalty takers: Connor McCarthy
Free kick takers: Gilberto Cuellar
Long free kicks: Connor McCarthy

You don't have to stick to that, though. It just fits in better with the way I intend to RP my team (when I can).
Generally the team will focus on Nelson winning the ball deep centre, and spreading play to the wings. The team will have a tendency toward attacking down the left, with goals coming at the back post (right wing). McLean will drop into midfield more than attack the box, so he won't score many... while McLaren is an out-and-out predatory striker who will score for fun when in the team.

My RP Permissions are pretty chill to be honest.
Pretty much anything goes, I only ask that you let me decide the severity of any injuries you decide to RP for me, please.
Send my players off if you must -- if its a player I really didn't wanna lose for the next game, I'll RP an appeal or something.
Oh and at the risk of sounding a bit "RAWR" ... do not kill any of my players or coaching staff (unless I say go ahead via TG).
Killing fans is okay though. Go nuts with that if you like.

Most likely to...
Score a goal: Gilberto Cuellar or Suzanne Hayes
Win a free kick: Gilberto Cuellar or Felix McLean
Take (and score) that free kick: Gilberto Cuellar
Win a penalty: Gilberto Cuellar
Take (and score) that penalty: Connor McCarthy
Miss a penalty: Tara Perry
Score a header off a set piece: Connor McCarthy
Score an own goal: Connor McCarthy
Hack an opponent down: Connor McCarthy or Brenda Nelson
Lose their head and get sent off: Tomas Urena
Commit a professional foul: Tomas Urena or Me'nu Katuli'ha
Argue with the referee: Sean McCarthy
"Disappear" during a match: Lynette Fields
"Put in a shift": Azarai Robinson or Ramira Salas
Have an elaborate goal celebration planned out: Gilberto Cuellar or Latrell McLaren
Get caught stumbling out of a nightclub: Latrell McLaren or Sean McCarthy
Do charity work: Lia D'Ortona
Illicit marriage proposals from fans: Gilberto Cuellar or Tara Perry

Something that is important to know is that football isnt the number on sport in Osarius. Its second, to GraviBall.
Footballers are loved if they make tough tackles -- case in point, Connor McCarthy; and before him, Georgina Carsley -- because the combative nature of the game is what the fans like. Very passionate, are Osarian fans, you see.
Sooo... basically, if you're not scoring goals or making crunching tackles, the fans aren't impressed. That goes for opponents too... Osarian fans always appreciate a good tackle, so they will even applaud opposition players at times (although they will boo their goals, obvs).

From time to time I'll make reference to the area a player is from, and when I do, I will try to add an OOC note to explain what it means, because different regions of Osarius have almost entirely different cultures. For example, Tubrissian people's habits and sayings are heavily based on Phoenician/Carthaginian culture and religious beliefs.

Manager: Amandeep Sahota
After a successful AOCAF campaign last time out, Amandeep Sahota earned the Osarius manager's job on a full-time basis, and has imposed his brand on the team. His enthusiasm is contagious, and has breathed new life into the Firebirds after a brief slump in recent years. He has struggled to replicate his initial successes with the full senior team thus far, but will be looking to build on the success of the younger players as part of a long-term plan. His "flexible frontline" approach has earned plaudits, though many accept it is still something the team are adjusting to, and Sahota does not seem likely to change the plan.

Assistant Manager: Ishmael Walker
In a complete turnaround of opinion, Walker's stock has risen dramatically after emerging as a key member of the backroom team during the Firebirds' run to the final of AOCAF Cup 36, and the moderate successes of the last World Cup qualifying campaign. Walker's ability to form a strong rapport with the players has been praised most, as he has been better able to focus on working with the team and not the media management duties associated with the manager position.

Coaches: Maurice Simmons, Jeffrey Allen, Gerald Cole
Simmons, Allen and Cole are all highly-regarded coaches within Osarian football, who attained their Professional Coaching licenses at the same time as previous manager Alain Montblanc. Sahota worked alongside them at the Olympics a while back, and has a good working relationship with all three. They all offer traits often cited as being required in elite coaches, and enjoy a strong rapport with the players, which has contributed heavily to Sahota's decision to retain their services.

Specialist Coaches: Onyibo Oduoza (goalkeeping), Claudio Traga (fitness)
Oduoza once trained under the now-legendary Enzo Corradini at Hollybrent, and is credited with turning Orlando Florian into the legendary keeper he became. A cerebral man, Oduoza sometimes employs strange methods to bring out the best in his charges, and to develop vital skills. Few can argue with his results, however. Traga, on the other hand, is perhaps best known among sports fans back home for his past career as a Boxer. Upon retirement, Traga's love of sport led him to study sports science at Utica University, where he learnt to combine his boxing experience with science know-how to develop fitness regimes for professional sportsmen (and women). His system, The Lightstrike Method, is used in most professional sports clubs in Osarius as a major part of training, particularly during the off-season.

Medical Staff: Daniel Chambers (physiotherapist), Dr. Sarah Bocchetti (team doctor)
Chambers and Bocchetti are also old friends of the former manager, Benedict di Corradi, but their stock within the OFA is high. Both have excellent reputations among the players, too, making them invaluable members of the backroom staff.

OOC: All characters here are based off the British television series Red Dwarf. More information on the characters mentioned can be found here. Three characters aren't mentioned on that list. All characters appear in episodes from Series I-Back to Earth

Hutt River roster for AOCAF XXXVIII
AKA: The Smegs

Formation: 5-3-2. Can change to 6-3-1.

GK – Dave Lister [Series I-Back to Earth]

Lister is a slobby man, normally dressed in a leather jacket and hat, and one of his two best shirts (which have a curry stain down the front). He wrongly thinks he is a fantastic guitarist and his life dream was to buy a small farm on Fiji. This slobiness rarely shows on the field, where he is a pretty good goalkeeper and normally has a smegton of luck on his side

RD - Duane Dibbley [Series V, Series VI, Series VIII]

Duane Dibbley is the dorky alter-ego of the Cat who has a pudding basin haircut and big overbite. He still has the Cat's rather large sense of selfishness though, and this shows as he rarely lets go of the ball. He is also hindered by his poor intelligence on the pitch, but is quite fast, owhich is often used to his advantage

CD – Arnold "Smeghead" Rimmer [Series I-Back to Earth]

Lister's bunkmate brought back to life as a hologram to keep Lister sane. Often the butt of jokes, he is selfish but smart, and oftem has doubts about Lister's ability to do most things. On the pitch he is the heart of the defence, alongside his alter ego, Ace Rimmer, and can tackle surprisingly well for his age. Has quite a short temper

CD – Ace Rimmer [Series IV, Series VI, Series VII]

An alter-ego of Arnold Rimmer, who is modest despite being a popular, knowledgeable daredevil hero. As well as that, he is also an almost perfect all round football player who plays alongside Rimmer at the heart of the defence. His only weak point is marking, especially from corners, as he tries to mark all of them to save the hassle of the others.

CD – Kristine Kochanski [Series I, Series II, Series VI, Series VII-Back to Earth]

Red Dwarf's Navigation Officer who was the object of Lister's lust before she was killed by a radiation leak. Playing football, she is the player who gets the ball forward after a corner, towards one of the strikers thanks to her fantastic accuracy when kicking a ball.

LD – Olaf Petersen [Series I, mentioned many times]

A Danish catering officer on the Red Dwarf mining vessel, and best friend of Lister. A very strong player who out muscles almost every opposing player, his powerful free kick contribute a few goals to the overall tally. His poor intelligence, though, means that they often go into the stands.

RM – Ramses Niblick the Third Kerplunk Kerplunk Oops Where's My Thribble [Series IV (mentioned)] (Not that one)

A former friend of Kryten, who suffers from computer senility. His real name is Gilbert. He doesn't really do much on the field, just crossing the ball into the box. Has an excellent way of picking out players in a scrum.

CM – Frankenstein [Series I]

Frankenstein was a normal cat, accidentally turned into the mother of every single Felis Sapiens and other similar species ever, and the holy mother of the cat religion, after being left in the hold when the radiation leak happens. Really just there to make up the numbers when on the pitch.

LM – Kryten [Series II, Series III-Back to Earth]

Kryten is a neurotic Series 4000 mechanoid robotic servant, who has broken his programming He is humanoid, with the exception of the flat cubical face and head. He is incredibly intelligent which helps him when playing his left midfielder position, pointing out the exact position and power to get it to the person/machine in the six yard box.

ST – Talkie Toaster [Series I, Series IV]

An annoying talking toaster, who offers toasted stuff at every possible opportunity. He is only around because he is an excellent poacher, going through people legs and hitting the ball into the goal during a goalmouth scramble, due to his amll size and the fact he is on wheels. His small size can be a hinderance as well, mainly due to not being able getting easy headers for a human.

ST – The Cat [Series I-Back to Earth]

A humanoid descendant of a modern house cat (Felis Erectus), which had been Lister's pet cat before the radiation leak. The Cat cares about himself, and only himself, and is incredibly vain. He is the main goalscorer on the team, thanks to his incredible shooting skills.

Substitutes
GK - Holly [Series I-V, VII, VIII, Back to Earth]

Holly was Red Dwarf's computer. Holly's user interface appears on the ship's screens as a disembodied human head on a black background. After being left alone for millions of years, he has suffered from computer senility. Has above average intyelligence but suffers from bad reaction times.

CD – Quagaar warrior [Series I (mentioned)]

The Quagaars are an alien species made up by Rimmer, after a garbage pod entered the ship. The warrior is essentially a discarded roast chicken. Remains on the bench pretty much all of the time

LM – Mr. Flibble [Series V]

A hand puppet penguin used by Rimmer when he was taken over by 'Hex virus'. As with the Quaagar, he just sits on the bench most of the time

CM - Queeg [Series II]

Queeg was a practical joke played by Holly to make him appreciate him being there he uses an aggressive command style and it's not unusual to see hi outburst angrily, provoked or not. Similar in working to Holly, he also suffers from the same problems

ST - Stab 'Im [Series I]

Stab 'Im is a motorised service and maintenance robot, named a Skutter, a 2 feet tall motorized box, with one limb, with three claws on the end. He can move fast but suffers from height issues.

Head Coach
Image
Felipe Hernandez, was hired by the WG Soccer Board of Directors on July 1, 2012 as the new head coach for the WG Soccer team. Over all his experience in the coaching field is a wide variety. He was formally part of the Gemsbrook United soccer club of the United Soccer League from 2001 until he was traded to the Port Salem AFC. He retired from the USL having been part of three league championship teams. Two from Gemsbrook United (2003 & 2004), and the only league title Port Salem has won in 2008, that year he retired.
After coming off a very good performance in Vilta four years ago at the 36th edition of the AOCAF with West Guiana's first trip to the round of sixteen, then a mediocre preformance at the qualifying stage of the world cup with an ending record of 5-6-5, finishing fourth in the group.

All ages are for the opening day of AOCAF

After a glorious CoH 53 campaign, the Ministry of Morale is delighted to announced that it will be taking AOCAF seriously for once, and is pleased to announce the following lineup for AOCAF 37:

Formation: 3-6-1
Style: +1
Coaches: Sol Kirkkegaard, age 64, head coach (Polar Islandstates); André Vaillancourt-Bosquet, age 41, offensive co-ordinator; Niko Marek, age 42, defensive co-ordinator (Polar Islandstates); Étienne Lajeunesse, age 56, keepers

With Jacques-Modeste Taschereau headed into retirement after steering the Paladins back into the World Cup finals, Sol Kirkkegaard has been signed to a tremendous contract to take his place at the Paladins' helm. Having guided the Terns of his native Polar Islandstates from obscurity to a top ten KPB rank, he resigned in disgust after being undermined by his superiors and the press. The Ministry of Morale promptly seized the opportunity to hire a world-class manager as their head coach.

Kirkkegaard implemented some fairly sweeping changes to his side at the start of World Cup 61 qualifiers. He replaced the traditional 2-6-2 with a more defensive-minded 3-6-1. He brought the Terns first-ever Captain, and Hall of Fame defender, Niko Marek to improve the team's defense. Marek is also fluent enough in French to help smooth over communication problems between Kirkkegaard and those Paladins who are more comfortable in French than in English. Former NMS captain André Vaillancourt-Bosquet moved down the bench from the midfield to an assistant's spot, promoted by Kirkkegaard to provide a familiar face to his new side, and help him with the finer points of the midfield-driving NMS strategy. Goalkeeping coach Étienne Lajeunesse, well regarded by the players and ministry alike, and a groomsman at Édgar Thibault's wedding a decade ago, impressed Kirkkegaard immediately and retained his job.

After bringing in Kirkkegaard and paying him handsomely to help the Paladins get farther into the World Cup, fans felt highly letdown when the Paladins missed out on qualification entirely, finishing third in their group behind the FSSO and a resurgent Starblaydia. Now the Paladins are looking to travel to Geisenfried, with the Polarian Kirkkegaard ironically enough the first NMS head coach to oversee an AOCAF campaign in person.

KEEPERS

1 Édgar Thibault, age 39, FC Sandside, Civil Citizenry
89 Bobby Laviolette, age 27, Dorion Poules
6 Bill Watterson, age 20, Unité Chateauguay

The seemingly ageless Édgar Thibault continues to start for the Paladins, although look for both Laviolette and McPherson to be subbed in occasionally. After a pair of 5-4 losses to Mapletish (in the CoH) and to The Babbage Islands (in WC60) when Thibault was sick or hurt, Kirkkegaard will be looking to figure out which one of his backups can handle game situations and not just second-string practice shots.

DEFENSE

2 Cédric Morand, LB, age 27, Unité Chateauguay, 0 goals
9 Maurice Bergeron, CB, age 28, Sorel Black Dragons, 0 goals
18 Rick Andrews, RB age 25, Sorel Black Dragons, 3 goals
14 André Lecavalier, CB/DMF, age 20, Repentigny War Eagles, 0 goals
10 Barry McPherson, CB, age 21, Pride of Wolfe Harbor, 0 goals
19 Harry Whitfield, RB/LB, age 23, CF Angiers

After struggling during the second half of qualification, Niko Marek did a wonderful job whipping the Paladins' defense into shape during the Cup of Harmony - one unfortunate shootout against Mapletish notwithstanding. Cédric Morand took a huge leap forward during the elimination matches, while his fellow wingback Rick Andrews provided a welcome offensive threat out of the backfield for the first time in centuries. Now Marek will have to replace retired center-back William St. John de la Ware, one of the greatest defenders in NMS history. Kirkkegaard and Marek feel that the centerback competition is important enough to give promising young DMF André Lecavalier a long look at center back.

MIDFIELD

20 Mike Gladden, DMF, age 26, Unité Chateauguay, 0 goals
3 Mathieu Lionel, CMF, age 24, Philemon Mariners, 1 goal
78 Fred Moseley, CMF, age 29, Moncton Sands Coyotes, 1 goal
80 Loic Lejouard, LMF, age 25, CF Sherbrooke, 0 goals
54 Fabrice Sévérin, RMF, age 27, NM Patriotes, 5 goals
7 Julien Cormier, AMF, age 21, City of New Montreal, 6 goals
29 Donald Taylor, LMF/RMF, age 32, NM Patriotes, 6 goals
12 Justin Lagacé, LMF/RMF, age 21, St. Catherine's Manatees, 0 goals
4 Denis Boulet, CMF, age 26, Sorel Black Dragons, 0 goals
95 Yves Bélanger, age 23, CMF, CF Sherbrooke, 0 goals
15 Neil Calvin, age 21, AMF, St. James Seagulls, 0 goals
31 Jean Haverford, age 22, DMF/LMF, Mutual of Bloomington, 0 goals

Both WC 60 and WC 61 featured remarkably old midfields, although the WC 61 one managed to keep its legs fresh enough to endure 18 qualification matches and a victorious run through the Cup of Harmony. Kirkkegaard has decided to go young in the midfield for AOCAF, with Donald Taylor being the only midfielder over 30 on the side. Mike Gladden, Fred Moseley, Julien Cormier and Fabrice Sévérin carry over from the Cup of Harmony squad, but the onus will be on Hank Bay's replacement Mathieu Lionel to get comfortable feeding passes to Cormier and lone striker Hugo Leclercq. Lionel looked good in limited CoH action, including one goal in a substitute appearance against Mapletish, but will need to play that well for ninety minutes at a time if the Paladins are going to be competitive in Geisenfried. Look for Denis Boulet to split time at center back with Moseley and newly minted starter Loic Lejouard. If Cormier disappears again like he did during the second half of WC 61 qualifiers, Neil Calvin might get a chance to show what he can do at AMF.

STRIKERS

94 Hugo Leclercq, CF, age 20, CF Valdemont, 9 goals
11 Linus Wiseman, CF, age 30, Unité Chateauguay, 14 goals

Leclercq enjoyed a breakout during the Cup of Harmony, celebrating 5 goals during the tournament and then celebrating a tremendous contract with CF Valdemont that made him NMS's youngest non-trust-fund-baby millionaire. Linus Wiseman, meanwhile, just keeps on truckin' at age 30. He's lost a step, but makes up for it with a high-level understanding of what opposing defenders will do to try and stop him.

I hereby give my opponents permission to do anything that strikes their fancy, short of causing death or permanent paralysis to one of my players.

The Legalese Federation of Association Football presents...

The AOCAF XXXVII Roster

A few notes:
-All starters (except the keeper) are listed in the 1-11, however it will not be a major faux pas to utilize a reserve, if one were to wish.
-The team's style modifier is a mostly aggressive +4
-RP Permissions: As has become customary for Legalese, My opponent, should they RP first, shall have any and all permissions for which they provide to their opponents (should they RP first). Should one offer all permissions to their opponent, they shall have all permissions when dealing with my side; should they offer few to none, the same goes when dealing with me. Should my opponent somehow RP first but not have a roster posted, they shall not be permitted a damn thing.

And now, for the squad:

(The Usual) Starters:

GK: 22 – Tarquin Waldrop, 20, Myre Town. Tarquin is the youngest starter for this experienced side, and the only one to not see a minute of play in the World Cup Finals, though he did make a 30-minute appearance late in qualifying, after Legalese locked up the group. However, with Bobby Johnson's spot on the team evaporating after the previous AOCAF, and Stan Thate's stubborn refusal to stop aging, someone has to be in the net, and the Wall-drop has been given his chance.
D: 2 – Joe Ellsworth, 27, The Knights of Tiberia. Ellsworth, initially on the outs prior to World Cup 61, turned in a number of fine performances, contributing to the two shutouts in qualifying against the eventual champs. He now has 34 starts and 36 appearances to his name.
D: 3 - Liam Todd, 27, Argyle Warriors. Todd established himself as the new anchor in the defensive middle back in AOCAF 36, and has five goals internationally, mostly off of corners.
D: 4 – Phil Livingston, 30, Cragland Climbers. At this point two years ago, Phil Livingston appeared to be ready to retire from international play - and many expect him to be more of a role player in the upcoming qualifying. However, he looks to be ready for one more shot at glory, and looks to cap his career with AOCAF gold.
DM: 5 - Sam Washington, 27, Bob's Towing. Sam is known for his ability to play back as a fourth defender if necessary, but will generally press forward. At a young age, Sam is still heavy on international experience, with three full cup campaigns and this being his fourth AOCAF.
M: 6 – Jack Wayne, 25, Brecorn City. Jack, previously a reserve during WC60, made the most of his trial appearance in the starting lineup during the AOCAF, credited with an assist during the opener vs. Bazalonia. Now a regular for the National side, he hopes to shine on his return to the AOCAF.
M: 7 - Monte Kelshimer, 26, Tiberian City. Monte, now at twenty-five caps for the National Team, is a bit of a youngster to the side, having only the previous cup cycle of experience.
M: 8 - Archie Sanroman, 33, Draig Goch FC. The Captain returns. At 31 years old and with 55 caps, Archie has the most international appearances for any Legalite. Only one things eludes him - a major trophy.
F: 9 - Garry Maharry, 27, Bob's Towing. Garry has settled into his role of playing the withdrawn forward, completing WC 61 in that position.
F: 10 - Jimmy Jay, 26, Bob's Towing. While Jay has a history of being hot and cold, his performances in the absence of Bassford during a considerable chunk of qualifying helped carry Legalese to the finals. He had moderate success in the most recent AOCAF, but hopes that his work on the main stage, including a goal in the World Cup Group Stage, will be indicative of his performance now. After all, what's better than having not one, but two international stars on your team?
F: 11 - Kelvin Bassford, 27, Draig Goch FC. Speaking of international stars, Kelvin remains the nation's first true achiever. Now with three World Cup cycles and two AOCAF tournaments (non-consecutive) to his name, he's scored 28 international goals. The shades get a little less air time than they used to, but the important thing is that his ankle is 100% again.
Reserves:
12 - Roy Whitcraft, 27, Ostia Ostriches.(D) Roy had his chance in the lineup during the AOCAF, but a sending-off helped seal his return to the bench.
13 – Kenny Stroud, 19, International of Tyrellia (D)
15 – Lane Wilson, 20, LC Capitals. Wilson, a native of Binchensburg, became the youngest player in National Team history in the AOCAF 36 opener – only to be unseated two matches later. His performance not only led to a return as a reserve for the cycle, but also led to his acquisition by the LC Capitals.
16 – Xavier Boyle, 22, Bob’s Towing (F)
17 - Fred Rutledge, 25, Francis City (F)
18 - Dwight Marcus, 21, Rhinos (D)
19 – Ty Henderson, 20, Tiberian City (M)
20 – Titus Armistead, 20, The Knights of Tiberia (M)
21 – Sherwood Hendry, 23, Ellentown Exempts (M)
1 – Stan Thate, 32, Rhinos (GK). Thate heads to the bench for the first time in his NT career, presumably to give the youngster a try. However, it will be interesting to see how the dynamic of being the only starter from the World Cup to not stay in the XI for the AOCAF will play out...

Staff:
Manager - Gabe Cushing - this becomes Cushing's third AOCAF as manager, after taking a planned hiatus during the 36th AOCAF. Known for an aggressive style of play, Gabe, now 52, has already taken this team further than most expected - sweeping the eventual champions from The Sylvanaes Queendom to qualify, and drawing them again in the group stage. Now he's just sticking around to get a trophy.

Assistant: Hamish McKinley. McKinley, 33, took on a brief stint as manager for the 36th AOCAF, returning (as planned) to his assistant's post after the competition. Word on the street is that his 1-1-1 record was not going to prevent a similar arrangement, until plans were changed following the draw.

If a team he simply inspires by his playing style can win a Cup of Harmony, then why the hell not a full time coaching job for a World Cup winner (in the 47th edition) who was most famous for scoring in a rout against Rejistania for the Under-21s? So he may be old, but when he was around, Starblaydia were awesome.

Stadium: Leorudian Olyimpic Stadium
The Leorudian Olyimpic Stadium is a brand-new, state-of-the-art football stadium built in the middle of the Leorudian Capital District. It can hold 96,300 people and it has held just a few games so far and the stadium is still in mint condition.
Photo:Image

Manager: Sam Orlandus
Sam Orlandus is a manager who is a veteran of the game. He managed a Leorudian college club for years, and the creation of the club was a perfect oppurtunity for him to manage on an international scale.

Name-Position-\Age
Starting Roster
Scena Tartarus-Keeper-24
Scena Tartarus is quite possibally the best goalie Leorudo has ever seen. Only 24, he has blocked uncountable shots and
saved uncountable failed coverages. This man makes Leorudo a defensive club.
Photo(before the start of the AOCAF):
Image

Juan Rojas-Defender-26
Juan Rojas is a very important piece of the Leorudian Defensive stance. He is great for defending the player that scores on a put back Scena's saves.
Photo(on the Right):
Image

Donald Freedman-Defender-29
Donald Freedman is a pain the play agianst. He can make even the best forward have a bad day when he is playing well. He is also a member of the defensive side that has held clubs ranking from Vilitia to 95X to scoring few if any goals in AOCAF play.
Photo:
Image

Shaun Delrose-Midfielder-35
Shaun Delrose is a defending midfielder. He is the captain of the team. He is the oldest of the team. He is the mentor. While he is not as good as he was in his prime, his mental presence can inspire anyone on the team to explode onto the game's scene at anytime.
Photo:
Image

Carlos Azulis-Striker-20
Carlos Azulis is the upcoming star in the club. He is very young and quite raw when it comes to the international stage. Right now is not his time, but who knows?
Photo:
Image

Leonardi Opladious-Midfielder-25
Leonardi Opladious, the "Pride of Leorudo" as he is known by the Leorudian fanbase, is a kid who grew up in the local Leorudian city streets. He became known by the locals for being in almost every pickup game from when he was a kid up until a local scout selected him to try out for the new club. Playing on the city streets gave him a physical mentality that he carries with him today. He is a hell of a player.
Photo:
Image

Brendan Kiernan-Midfielder-26
Brendan Kiernam is your textbook midfielder. He does not really excel at anything, but he can pass, shoot, dribble, and defend at a consistant level that is needed to keep this team anchored to their defensive base.
(No photo avalible)

Jim Fenlon-Forward-30
Jim Fenlon is a forward that cannot shoot to save his life. While this is a needed trait for most forward, Jim makes his money off of passing. He can pass to anyone, anywhere. Him and Luke Moore are a good pair because of Luke's quick foot a and Jim's quick pass. This is a duo that will catch you off guard if your not prepared.
Photo:
Image

Luke Moore-Forward-23
Luke Moore is a player that is not unfamiliar with scoring goals. Though not the greatest passer, he can put a ball in the back of the net in a blink of an eye. He is fresh out of college, and it was on his college team he gained a reputation. In his first World Cup he was exceptional, scoring almost 40% of Leorudo's goals. This extreme rise was put on halt, as his brother fell in the line of battle for the Leorudian Military, and he has been dismissed from the team until he can fully recover from his deep depression.
Photo(in his college uniform):Image

Curtis Osano-Forward/Midfielder-26
Born to a sailor's wife on the docks of Leorudo, he would spend most of his youth playing on the docks with other sailor's childern. In this playing, he developed an unorthodox style of scoring, shooting a shot that bounces and curves wildly. Oh, and he shoots these shots from the middle of the pitch. When he misses, though, Luke Moore stands ready to put a rebound in the back of the net, well, most of the time.
Image

Rashid Yussu-Defender-38
A former Leorudian great, he is know entering the final phase of his career. He is also a mentor for many of the younger guys and helps defend an opponent who attempts to get a rebound.
Photo:
Image

Subs
Seb Brown-Keeper-34
Seb Brown is the former Keeper of the club that seems to have taken Scena Tartarus under his wing. He is still a decent keeper that can be a sub if Scena needs a break.
Photo:
http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/4235/joehartf.png

Callum McNaughton-Forward-24
Callum McNaughton is a fairly new Leorudian Forward that has only ever appeared in a few games on the international stage.
He is a fairly good goal scorer, but he tends to quickly foul rather than chase his man down. Much better on the ball then off.
Photo(He is the one on the right):
Image

Mat Mitchel-Defender-23
Mat Mitchel is a prospect that is really just being used to take up an extra roster spot. He is not really skilled at anything besides stopping players on the run, he is your textbook back up.

4-Time AOCAF Champions

GOALKEEPERS:

[ 85 ] Nycflala Kater [ - Strike FC - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 25 CAPS: 47 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.76 Average Rating ]
Descended of former National Team goalkeeper Jimmy Kater, who took over the starting position on the National Team under the intense spotlight of the World Cup 17 Finals in Vilita and remained first choice keeper for the majority of Vilitan national competition in subsequent seasons before joining the coaching staff for World Cup 31. Nycflala made his full debut for the Vilita National Team during World Cup 57 where he was named the starter in 14 of Vilitas 16 qualification matches. Kater performed strongly with 6 shutouts and a 5.86 average rating. Many claim that the focus on the World Cup 57 Qualifying campaign distracted Strike players such as Kater from performing well domestically in VLeague 26. Kater ensured there would be no dissapointment in VLeague 27 leading Strike comfortably to both the League and Cup titles, repeating the feat during VLeague 29 and VLeague 30.

[ 1 ] Ronji Miiastara [ - Kiiarana City (Vilita) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 19 CAPS: 17 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Miiastara joined Marine Coast United in Vilita for their V-League 27 campaign in the Declasse, just the second ever for the club at that level. Miiastara was tasked with keeping the ball out of the net, and he did just that, helping lead Marine Coast United back to the Stellar Division at the first attempt leading up to V-League 28. Miiastara wouldn't stick around for another season of relegation, however, opting for Stellar Division security at Kiiarana City while maintaining his position as the #1 goalkeeper for the Turori Eels

[ 92 ] Jungrii Canopii [ - Eastal Lunar - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 15 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.10 Average Rating ]
Canopii spent most of World Cup 57 Qualifications on the bench, earning three substitute appearances in official matches, though he was named starter for the mid-qualification charity match against Akbarabad to raise money for big cats, where he made 11 saves. Despite spending most of the campaign as the primary backup, Canopii was not given the opportunity to start when #1 keeper Kater missed two matches, leading doubts as to whether he is looked upon as a serious canadidate for the starting role in the future. After starting at the Inland Academy then signing for Inland Peaks, Canopii left the home-town club when they were relegated from the Stellar Division after Season 26, joining cross-range rivals Eastal Lunar. Despite being relegated to the Declasse, Canopii led Eastal Lunar to the Vilitan Cup title during Season 28. Canopii has remained loyal to Eastal Lunar despite their relegation from the Stellar Division, turning down multiple offers to join bigger clubs in the top flight. Canopii thrust back into the National Team spotlight during World Cup 60 Qualifying, stopping 5 of the 9 matches the Jungle Cats won consecutively to qualify for the World Cup through the Playoff Pod system.

[ 90 ] Jaqe Planst [ - Cednia Beach AFC (TUR) - ]
------- GK ( AGE: 20 CAPS: 6 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.50 Average Rating ]
Planst was acquired by Cednia Beach AFC after playing just 1 match in Season 26 for Arcticala Inlet. Planst helped the Turorian side to second place in the VLeague 27 table and a return to UICA Competitions. A poor showing during the AOCL V in which Cednia Beach were eliminated in the group stage likely kept Planst out of any contention for a National Team spot during World Cup 58 Qualifiers, although, as a highly skilled keeper, Planst was still invited to the training camp. Planst has an ongoing rivalry with former Cednia Youth teammate Aranora Jaded who left Cednia Beach to join Planst's former club, Arcticala Inlet, and also achieved great success.

DEFENDERS:

[ 9 ] Ritopa Simafela [ - Strike FC - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 26 CAPS: 56 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.85 Average Rating ]
Ritopa was a standout product of the Lunar Academy and was named as one of the captains of Vilita's World Cup 57 Qualifying Squad. The son of a Rocket Scientist and a Physicist, Simafela is already well educated and is in no way reliant on a career in sports. However, strong performances during his debut qualifying campaign including a 6.05 average rating and 2 goals spurred transfer inquiries from foreign clubs and comparisons to Vilitan greats like Enzo Ahat and Ricky Ezis. Simafela transferred to Strike FC for VLeague 27 and was an instrumental part of their double success in the League and Cup.

[ 68 ] Kadi Molali [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D R ( AGE: 25 CAPS: 56 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.94 Average Rating ]
Molali has the ability to make stunning runs up the right side of the field and has put together exciting 'from-nothing' goal scoring opportunities in weekly scrimmage matches. Molali was an exciting prospect for the Turoki Academy who was solid, but not exceptional during World Cup 57 Qualifying, making 13 appearances and scoring 1 goal. After joining multiple clubs, including Strike FC, Molali left the VLeague abrubtly in the middle of VLeague 26. After some time off, Molali returned, signing for Eastal Lunar FC and completing a strong VLeague Season 27.

[ 3 ] Noa-isinao Wioauoi [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D RLC ( AGE: 19 CAPS: 2 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Noa-isinao Wioauoi ws a product of the Yeaddin Academy who caught the eye of one Yeaddin reporter at a training session doing ball handling tricks, and the shared video went viral, sparking a campaign including a fan website and even local town council requests to invite the youngster into the Vilita National Team training camp for World Cup 57. Wioauoi was invited to the camp, but never impressed coaches Massa and Wrice enough to be capped during the process. Wioauoi, born in Turori despite leaving in Vilita, accepted an invitation from the Football Association of Turori to train with them in preparation for a playing role in the World Cup 58 Qualifiers. After spending a season at Arcticala Inlet, Wioauoi moved to new Stellar Division competitiors Turoki Tide.

[ 67 ] Eda Shindhi [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- D LC ( AGE: 25 CAPS: 10 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.10 Average Rating ]
Shindhi is a player in the mold of former Marine Coast defensive stalwarts Ade Hinds and Sibusiso Azaiez. While Shindhi still has some development to go before realizing his full potential, it is expected that he will continue to get a run out from time to time as his skills progress. Shindhi made his competitive debut in defeat against Brendino the 3rd during World Cup 57 Qualifying but did not impress in that performance. After being trainined at the Coastal Academy, Shindhi signed his first professional contract with Marine Coast United. Shindhi switched to Cednia Beach AFC when Marine Coast were relegated for V-League 27, not enjoying success there, eventually returning to Vilita to play for the Turoki Tide, finishing runners up in V-League 28. Shindhi moved to Arcticala for V-League 30.

[ 4 ] Tyaoino Munviola [ - Makosile - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 8 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.44 Average Rating ]
A towering defender with a dependable head, Munviola is not afraid to join the attack on corner kicks, and rarely loses a defensive header. His feet have let him down from time to time, but have been improving. Despite his inconsistencies, Munviola was a surprise package during World Cup 57 qualifying, making 6 appearances and having a strong ratings average. After multiple seasons in the Non-League with Laiotia Locals, Munviola finally signed a league contract to play with Declasse side Mavaloiao for Season 30. Munviola's fast rise continued when making the big switch to V-League Champions Makosile for Season 32.

[ 94 ] Miiara Makose [ - Strike FC - ]
------- D C ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 55 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 7.02 Average Rating ]
Makose has Druidan blood, though has been diluted through multiple generations. He was trained as a goalkeeper in Turori but did not want to be stuck in the shadows of Nycflala Kater, so switched over to the defensive role when joining the Strike Academy. The transition was clearly justified as Makose was one of the top performing players in World Cup 57 qualifying, carrying a 6.65 average rating while appearing in 14 of Vilita's 16 group matches. Makose was also part of Strike's dominating VLeague 27 performances winning the League and Cup titles with the club and repeated the feat during VLeague 29, doing one better, having scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute of the Cup Final against the rival Yeaddin Owls. Incredibly, Makose did it again during the Season 30 Cup Final, scoring the opening goal of Strike's 2-0 victory over Colonial Sile.

DEFENSIVE MID:

[ 36 ] Retiso Buran [ - Strike FC - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 25 CAPS: 58 :: GOALS::SR: 6 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.64 Average Rating ]
Retiso Buran was the top prospect at the Sile Academy specializing in the defensive midfield role once made famous by Jürgen Ramzi. Buran is a ferocious player who some has said can be seen with teeth gritted ready to pounce as the attacking side approaches. Appearing almost exclusively during World Cup 57 qualifying, Buran missed only one game and scored 2 goals during the campaign. Burans perofmances both for the National Team and for Makosile earned him a transfer to Strike FC for Season 27, where he earned the Vilitan Stellar Divisions top goalscorer award for the second consecutive season, the first time ever achieved by a midfielder.

[ 22 ] Restiaa Mumamba [ - Yeaddin Owls (Vilita) - ]
------- ATH ( AGE: 19 CAPS: 27 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Mumamba was the definition of a versatile player for Vilita's Yeaddin Owls after joining them for the V-League 27 season from Jlinal Cove FC. Mumamba played in every position from Central Defender to Striker, scoring a game winning goal in one game and a game saving tackle in the next. Mumamba is an expert choice for a third sub or to allow tactical changes on the pitch without substitutions being made. The strong and versatile performances of Mumamba during Season 28 earned Mumamba a high profile transfer to defending Stellar Division champions Arcticala Inlet but he left the Electricians the following season to be apart of the growing Yeaddin Owls squad.

[ 30 ] Ukalai Saluria [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- DM C ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 0 :: GOALS::SR: 0 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Saluria was a product of the Turoki Academy, who has trained with the National Team as an alternate since World Cup 57. Saluria played much of his early career for Jaguar Moreda in the Vilitan Non-League system. Saluria was discovered by Lopinka United during Season 31 and strong performances quickly earned the midfielder a switch to Stellar Division side Turoki Tide for Season 32.

MIDFIELDERS:

[ 21 ] Jomur Hulyer [ - Strike FC - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 64 :: GOALS::SR: 11 U21: REG: ) :: [ 7.39 Average Rating ]
A decsendent of the exciting Marine Coast and Yeaddin midfielder Jonjo Hulyer, Jomur has been compared heavily to his ancestors and even carries the same squad number. Unlike Jonjo, however, Jomur was trained at the Yeaddin Academy. Hulyer would soon become the quickest player to ever represent all three of the original Vilitan Dynasties, signing his first professional contract with Marine Coast United before transferring to Strike for VLeague 28.

[ 51 ] Steffyn Siazzu [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 59 :: GOALS::SR: 7 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.69 Average Rating ]
An exciting prospect from the Yeaddin Academy, Siazzu plays behind the strikers in a clean up or attacking role atop the midfield. Despite not scoring during World Cup 57 Qualifiers, Siazzu was an important presence. After spending many seasons in Yeaddin, Siazzu moved to the Turoki Tide, helping them to runners-up in the VLeague29 table.

[ 25 ] Kiroki Mitaroka [ - Inland Peaks FC - ]
------- M RLC ( AGE: 20 CAPS: :: GOALS::SR: U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
After starting at the Turoki Locals in the Lower Leagues, Mitaroka's talent was spotted by Inland Peaks FC who snapped the youngster up for V-League season 29. At the midway point of the season Mitaroka was setting the Declasse on fire with skillful performances and caught the attention of the Vilitan coaches who added Mitaroka to the World Cup 59 roster despite having never been called to the National Team before.

[ 17 ] Raso Tareak [ - Yeaddin Owls (Vilita) - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 26 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Tareak joined Jlinal Cove FC in Vilita for V-League 26 helping the club to a respectable 8th place finish. In V-League 27, Tareak's peformances improved with a pair of goals helping Jlinal to an all-time best finish of 4th place in the standings. Tareak's impressive performances in Jlinal earned him a transfer, first to Turorian UICA Champions League representatives Cednia Beach AFC, then to the Yeaddin Owls for V-League 30.

[ 24 ] Astara Daiili [ - Kiiarana City - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 25 CAPS: 31 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.34 Average Rating ]
Daiili is a classic central midfielder who prefers a holding role and short distribution. With Starblaydi blood and Vilitan determination, Daiili was a consistent performer during World Cup 57 Qualifiers making 19 appearances with a 6.07 average rating. After spending the first 6 seasons of the career in Crosaibi, Daiili jumped ship at struggling Marine Coast for a team with far more Starblayde heritage, Kiiarana City.

[ 13 ] Vrotaoa Lorasoiba [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- M C ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 27 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Lorasoiba's impressive performances for Turoki United, including 5 goals during the V-League 26 season, earned a high-value transfer to top Vilitan side Arcticala Inlet AFC. While it took Lorasoiba some time to get settled into life on the big Island, Lorasoiba's performances were enough to get an invitation to the Turori National Training camp for World Cup 58.

[ 28 ] Riksa Valjariia [ - Turoki Tide - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 14 :: GOALS::SR: 1 U21: REG: ) :: [ 5.97 Average Rating ]
Valjariia is an attacking midfielder who was trained at the Turoki Academy. Valjariia tends to come on the pitch to provide an attack boost, some times as a second attacking midfielder in a substitute role. Valjariia played professionally for Inland Peaks FC before moving to the Turoki Tide

[ 55 ] Viliaka Morasita [ - Cednia Beach AFC (TUR) - ]
------- M LC ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 34 :: GOALS::SR: 4 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.13 Average Rating ]
Morasita was the top prospect coming out of the Tivali Academy, playing central and left midfield. His sure footed tackling ability is noted but he is a well balanced midfielder. After playing a season and a half professionally for Alikki-Corra, Morasita joined the Vilitan League with Inland Peaks FC midway through VLeague 27. After spending 3 succesful seasons in the Declasse, Morasita transfered to Stellar Division side Cednia Beach AFC during Season 31.

[ 7 ] Rikko Rawaii [ - Arcticala Inlet (Vilita) - ]
------- AM C ( AGE: 20 CAPS: 28 :: GOALS::SR: 8 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Rawaii's dribbling ability coupled with lightning pace make him a threat any time he touches the ball, to create something even from nothing with a few quick moves. Rawaii is not known so much as a goalscorer, instead, an opportunity creator. Rawaii was named Player of the Year at Arcticala Inlet during Season 26 and was named Turorian player of the year during Season 27 when Inlet won the Tropical Trophy. Rawaii would win the Stellar Division with Arcticala Inlet during Season 29 finishing second in the goalscoring race.

FORWARDS:

[ 13 ] Yves Gadois [ - Strike FC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 20 CAPS: 19 :: GOALS::SR: 5 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.52 Average Rating ]
Gadois became a hot topic in Vilita after rising to glory as the spearhead for Strike FC's Vleague 27 championship, with 8 league goals and an incredibly 6 goals in the Vilitan Cup. Gadois, a product of the Inland Academy, earned an invitation to the National Team Training camp for the first time in the build up to World Cup 58.

[ 17 ] Viji-mara Lawaai [ - Strike FC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 49 :: GOALS::SR: 11 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.56 Average Rating ]
Trained at the Strike Academy, Lawaai has excelled at shooting from long range, and making space on the edge of the penalty area with crafty turns, and may produce opportunities for free kicks if he wears down the opposition approaching the box. Lawaii made 8 substitute appearances during World Cup 57 qualifying, making his competitive debut against Krytenia, but failed to find the scoresheet.

[ 43 ] Kristofer Kilpter [ - UNATTACHED (Available for Transfer) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 47 :: GOALS::SR: 13 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.31 Average Rating ]
Kilpter is joint Vilitan & Turori national, but declared to play for Vilita, with the lure of World Cup competition in Vilita's entry into World Cup 57 the key decision maker after the Turorian side was not entered. Kilpter netted 4 times during the World Cup 57 campaign but missed three matches due to an undisclosed injury. After struggling to win silverware with the Yeaddin Owls, Kilpter made the Largest Transfer in V-League history (12.7 kT) to Turorian side Cednia Beach. The transfer was more than double the 4.5kT previous transfer record in the Vilitan League, which was also payed by Cednia Beach to Yeaddin (for Antonis Siazzu).

[ 8 ] Liinai Zakazaka [ - Jlinal Cove FC (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 20 CAPS: 27 :: GOALS::SR: 11 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Zakazaka joined Jlinal Cove FC for the V-League 27 season and gained some attention back in Turori for their contribution to the 'Cove's impressive top-4 finish in the final standings. Zakazaka was named Jlinal Cove's top player during Season 28.

[ 15 ] Sirkii Moliaudo [ - Makosile - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 37 :: GOALS::SR: 9 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.17 Average Rating ]
Moliaudo is a real force in front of goal, rarely missing from inside the penalty area. Many eyes were on Moliaudo during the World Cup Campaign, to see how he fared with a new partner in attack, having spent his entire development partnered with Xcnaio Bansoa at the Coastal Academy. Moliaudo mostly performed well netting 4 goals and having a strong rating, but still left some wondering if there was more talent to be mined from the Marine Coast youngster. After Bansoa left Marine Coast for greener pastures, Moliaudo remained and his stock also decreased. After a second relegation with Marine Coast, Moliaudo jumped ship up the Vilitan coast to Kiiarana City.

[ 49 ] Xcnaio Bansoa [ - Yeaddin Owls AFC - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 24 CAPS: 15 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ 6.03 Average Rating ]
Bansoa was a training partner of Sirkii Moliaudo at the Coastal Academy, and many believed that Moliaudo's prowess in front of goal was due solely to his close partnership with Bansoa. After not being called to the line during World Cup 57 Qualifiers, Bansoa decided it was time for a change, breaking ties with Moliaudo and Marine Coast United, signing for Arcticala Inlet in the Stellar Division. Bansoa featured frequently for the Jungle Cats during the World Cup 58 Campaign, performing well, but scoring no goals, relegating him from the top selection in the subsequent Cup of Harmony held in Vilita and New Montreal States.

[ 9 ] Lita Adjei [ - Arcticala Inlet - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 23 CAPS: 14 :: GOALS::SR: 3 U21: REG: ) :: [ 7.09 Average Rating ]
A product of the Turoki Academy, Adjei has sport in the blood, being a descendent of former Stellar Division top Forward award winner Ippolit Adjei. Adjei moved on a loan to newly promoted Hojosan in The Yorozura after WC57 quals as part of an investment deal with the clubs kit sponsors, VIlitan based Vilaye energy drink. When that deal expired, Adjei returned to the Vilitan League, being snapped up by Kiiarana in the Stellar Division and quickly rising to the level of stardom with strong performances and crucial goals during Season 29, seeing the single-cap player called to the squad for World Cup 59. Adjei's impressive performances earned him a high-profile transfer to Arcticala Inlet for V-League 30.

[ 9 ] Anuh Ciniima [ - Morata Valley (Vilita) - ]
------- F C ( AGE: 21 CAPS: 15 :: GOALS::SR: 2 U21: REG: ) :: [ N/R ]
Ciniima was born in Turori to Misrantian parents before moving to Vilita to study and train for his sporting career. The unselfish striker joined Morata Valley after their promotion to the Stellar Division for Season 27 as a compliment to Turorian Striker Loala Kigoouao. Ciniima, while able to put the ball in the net when needed, has shown to be an expert decision maker, recording twice as many assists as goals inside the box.

Image The Blue Foxes Image
Representing the Pacitalian Republic
in international men's football

The Pacitalians, now eight-time winners of the regional trophy, have returned
for their 26th consecutive appearance at the AOCAF Cup. Manager Narciso Pennachetti earned
his first championship at the helm in AOCAF Cup 36, so, naturally, expectations in Pacitalia are
now firmly set at "repeat". The Blue Foxes managed to win a title without the reliable presence
of Giurimano, Vunghiasso, and other senior players. They demonstrated that Pacitalia's new young
guns are just as capable of again delivering their fans the world's premier regional football cup.

This Cup, the Foxes are still one of the youngest squads to hit the pitch, with several
players on the team with birthdays in 1990 or later. Pacitalia continues to execute their
unorthodox 2-3-2-3 system with a slight attacking focus, anchored by captain Michelangelo
Mascagnano at midfield, and the three-pronged attack of Cadi Herrera, Xabi Ferrán and
Demi Santos up front. You can expect Xabi to be exchanged for up and coming striker
Fernando Nero in a few of Pacitalia's matches, as the young Nero attempts to break
the starting XI at the expense of the skilled but often inconsistent Empordian.

And after brilliant performances at AOCAF Cup 36, expect frequent appearances (even as
substitutions) by Cristián Pique, the finessed natural play-maker, or by defender Pau
Capdemarco, whose cool, consistent presence on the pitch for Pacitalia last time out was
an undeniable positive for the title-winning Blue Foxes. The Pacitalians will enter the 37th
AOCAF Championship through Group F, facing Falcania, Austenersey and Hutt River.

After the debacle that was AOCAF 36, the DSE has decided not to send the Sea Dragons back to the AOCAF. In related news the DSE has also agreed that it is completely idiotic for every national side at every level of play to be known as “Sea Dragons”. Each side will now once again bear its own name.

While the squad from ASMV returns to its U19 girls roots that helped it to achieve such high status in the region, the squad will make a retuen to the nickname River Dragons.

Do anything you like except kill my players without permission.

A roster detailing the members of the
Kiryu-shi National Football Team
for competition in the
37th edition of the AOCAF
submitted for the benefit of potential rivals and other interested parties

GK
Carlo Montgomery (#51) --- Age: 25 --- Sakuragi University
Beating out close competition in long-time national team member Maggie Giles, Carlo Montgomery last represented Kiryu-shi during the 23rd Di Bradini Cup. While he provides this team with some level of experience, an established starter for his university team with experience winning games at the international level, His limited athleticism will hinder him from being an elite keeper. He tends to play angles very well and is a vocal presence from the back line.

DF
Tress Mi (#34) --- Age: 22 --- Kasakake University
Another starter in the previous Di Bradini cup, Mi showed incredible poise in her debut at the international level, proving doubters wrong and establishing herself as a noteworthy player. Playing off of her relative success, she has transitioned into a solid starter in the Kasakake University program. She is extremely calm and collected, and has demonstrated some ability to help shut down individually talented attacking players. She is a cerebral player, but tends to be a little slow to the ball.

Rebecca Hamilton (#4) --- Age: 30 --- Sakaino University
One of the only true veterans on the AOCAF team, Rebecca Hamilton is possibly the most technically skilled player in the nation, showing an incredible ability to control any ball at first touch. She is able, generally, to take a ball away from attackers with seemingly no effort, and when she can be coaxed into helping with counter-attacks, she is often able to move past multiple opposing defenders. She generally struggles with positioning, as she tends to get sucked into one-on-one battles, and can be caught unawares while the rest of the defense has sprung an off-side trap. But she is by far the most experienced player in the back half of the field, and will be heavily relied on throughout the tournament.

Petra Mientkiewicz (#36) --- Age: 22 --- Aioi University
While Mientkiewicz has never started a match for any international level team, she has established a reputation domestically for being a reliable defender capable of working well in an integrated and communicative back line. She stands a bit stout, but is difficult to move off the ball and can utilize her strength well in short distances.

MF
Tamara Tsurimi (#50) --- Age: 23 --- Sakaino University
Tsurimi will play a primarily attacking role from the midfield, a role she grew accustomed to during the previous Di Bradini Cup. While she is still a reserve at the University level, playing as a type of super-sub often utilized when Sakaino University needs a late goal, she made the most of her starts in Starblaydia four years ago, demonstrating an awareness of other players along with a nice touch on shots from distance. She will likely be in charge of direct set pieces for the squad.

Connor Boyle (#7) --- Age: 27— Sakaino University
Connor Boyle has been a perplexing player throughout his still career. On his university squad, he has had periods of incredible success, with his superior pace capable of dominating matches. He maintains the fastest straight-away speed on the national team, but plays with a wildness that isn’t necessarily conducive to consistent success on the pitch, often enthusiastically hitting the ball in the same general area of the goal, but rarely actually scoring. His athleticism in the attacking mid-field, however, adds a dynamic quality to the Kiryu-shi attack, whether or not it is necessarily effective.

Tyler Rolan (#24) --- Age: 23— Aioi University
Rolan was not a popular choice for the team, representing familiarity with the coaching staff rather than any distinct advantage over other possible starters. A distinctive player with a long, loping run, Rolan is able to cover ground fairly efficiently, yet has a lot of difficulty concentrating on what he’s supposed to do at any given moment, and has a tendency to start talking to opposing players he is supposed to be marking. These tendencies have often led to ridicule from fans, and he has quickly become a point of contention for the national team fans. He has a strong but not particularly accurate left foot, but his strength as a player comes with his quick reflexes and above-average athleticism, not necessarily any ball skills.

Megan Mitchell (#45) --- Age: 25 --- Umeda University
Mitchell, on the right wing, is a highly technical player capable of supporting an attack in a variety of ways. Her strengths include the ability to create goals for teammates with solid distribution and awareness skills, while both her speed and defensive positioning leave a lot to be desired. She tends to look extremely stiff if forced to turn to run with an opposing attacking, preferring to always be moving towards the opponent’s goal.

Will Feingold (#2) --- Age: 28 --- Umeda University
Will Feingold will be the key to the Kiryu-shi defense, as his position in the defensive midfield is charged with shutting down the opposition’s runs. He has tremendous speed and agility, and is able to monitor from sideline to sideline. He generally contains himself to the defensive half of the field, hesitant to help out with attacks, but when he does, he is an extraordinary threat, one of the few players who has consistently been a goal-scoring threat, making long and effective runs down the field. He has tremendous ball-control skills, and is a relentless tracker of whoever has the ball on the opposing attack. Although he can be used in a position to attack, on the national team he is used to neutralize opposing attacks as best possible.

FW
Tziganes d'Arányi (#12) --- Age: 23 --- Sakaino University
The most dazzling player on Kiryu-shi’s national team, Tziganes d'Arányi has participated in virtually every international match for Kiryu-shi since her debut in the 52nd Cup of Harmony. She has made a case for the most talented goal scoring option in the nation, but remains an incredibly divisive person in Kiryu-shi society. Descended from a group of political dissidents who left Kiryu-shi several generations ago, d'Arányi recently emigrated back to join Kiryu-shi’s official national team. Slight and slim, d’Arányi still can be physically overpowered and can disappear during portions of matches against physical teams, but her ability to score goals from any angle with both her feet, as well as her versatile and creative ball control, makes her a tantalizingly talented scorer.

Samantha DeCastro (#11) --- Age: 29 --- Amanuma University
A former gymnast, and a tremendously gifted athlete, and a veteran of Kiryu-shi international football Samantha DeCastro has transformed her career into a dynamic complimentary playmaker for d'Arányi. While she was previously known for her athleticism while not quite understanding the intricacies of the game of football, she has developed her athleticism to fit her new role, and has made it her mission to make plays happen for her teammates. While she still has some acrobatics left in her, she will be most effective as a supporting member on this team.

Manager
Seydiya At’rod’uin (Andossa Se Mitrin Vega) (F)
Age: 33
This Vegan has proven to be a brilliant tactician after her three campaigns in charge, taking the Marauders back to the Semifinals and then the Quarterfinals, before eventually leading back to being World Cup Champions. She was the youngest person to have ever filled a role in the Vanorian national team system, when she was appointed manager after the Pocoan Sloan's failure to get to the quaterfinal stage in back to back tournaments. The pressure has been lifted off her from the World Cup Championship and she could become one of the greatest managers in Marauder history if she could capture the elusive AOCAF title as well.

Assistant Manager
Clin Massai
Age: 10, 800
The mind behind Hondo FC's rise to power, he is another one of the assistants who plays mediator between the manager and the staff.

3 Amonron Eleneth, AC Valanari
Age - 680
Sex - M
Height: 6'0"

Quick for his size, Eleneth is the prototypical centerback who stymies any and every foray opposition bring into the box.

21 Espy va Drake, Yuba United (Paripana)

He has traveled far and wide while plying his trade, donning kits for no less than four countries clubs, and finally returned him when he signed with United before last season. Seen as the driving force in the middle of the park alongside Hawk, it is up to the opposition to try and figure out how to deal with the brilliance the winger and his other attackers have rather than them to create magic.

6 Aintôrthea Durosa, unattached
Age - 742
Sex - F
Height: 5"10"
Weight: 144 lbs
Durosa is one of those players that can play just about any position, as her skill set is vast and adequate in multiple areas. She has done exceptionally well in her CMSC seasons, nabbing goals and assists with regularity and has continued with her transfer to the Cafundeu league. Her good knowledge of va Drake's typical playing patterns has made the two to be a devastating pair for the opposition to contain.

Words do not even began to define his talent, his talent defines words. He was awarded one of the spots that the Vanorians have in the World Cup Hall of Fame, with it being very well deserved, as he has and continues to earn everything he has been given every single day.

8 Morronuth Neltanta, Wexax United ~
Age - 728
Sex - M
Height: 6'1"

28 Faeron Soldarian, Raynor City United
Age - 611
Sex - M

Long has he been Hearts strike partner at Hondo, now he replaces the legendary striker on the national team and will look to make use of his dynamic shot to keep the sting of the Vanorian attack strong.

The Vilita & Turori Eel Cat Things will be fielding a strong squad for the 37th AOCAF tournament in Geisenfried. The squad will be coached by Vilita Jungle Cats head coach Calaesa Mitaroka.

There is no shortage of international talent on the roster with Vilita and Strike FC keeper Nycflala Kater the favorite to take the keeper spot with Turori's Ronji Miiastara also in line for a call.

No matter who gets the call in net, they will be facing an unfamiliar foe as the Eel Cat Things have never faced any of their Group G opponents in competition previously.

Up first for Vilita & Turori will be Svengarda.

Svengarda are debutants to the AOCAF tournament and will be using the competition as a warmup to their Baptism of Fire and World Cup debut's in qualifying for the famed cup's 62nd edition.

The flag of Svengarda is quite busy, featuring a non-traditional tri-color design decorated uniquely in each band. In the first band, featuring a white background, a black eagle is seen honing in on its prey - much like the Svengarda midfielders will likely be intending to do if the ball comes anywhere near them. In the central band, the navy background is complimented by the stolid form of the green pine tree - like the Svengarda defense, led by the menacing Torbjørn Lindström, standing tall against any attacking threat from the opposition. The crossed white swords being sharpened on the slate background in the final band show the threat posed by the Svengarda attack where Truls Waaserson will look to shoulder the goalscoring duties for the squad with a nickname that is currently unknown.

After playing the opener at the Greifshorst Stadion, the Eel-Cat things will set up camp at the Augustus Arena where they will take on Farfadillis on matchday 2. The Freisan Farf Freitball Francitan - with their Quad "F" emblem, will also be making their AOCAF debut.

The Farfadilli Flag clearly emphasizing the laser-like vision and accuracy of the Farfadillis midfield, led by 19 year old Friekder Dandalleion, a recent acquisition of Cednia Beach AFC.

Dressed on a black background, the green lasers form a cross in the central left portion of the flag. Also intersecting the same point, a pair red laser sources forming an X, showing the precision and integration required for the team displays the Farf side will be implementing. As if the theme was not already evident, the primary Farfadillis kits show laser refraction as the gre+en source is contoured around the curves of the silky threads.

As for the final opponents, Carpathia & Ruthenia, hosts of the 35th AOCAF competition, and yet another foe that Vilita & Turori has not faced before in competition. The flag of Carpathia and Ruthenia features 4 equal quadrants, two red, two blue, matching the shield, but featuring each a cross to show the balanced formation such as in their National Team roster.
