I didn't add anarchy because even though it sounds great it would never last past a month. And there are a lot of other forms of government but I picked the most used/on top of my head.

Live with it. No form of government is the most successful. Why? Because they all have their Pros and Cons.

One that went the longest without doing so would probably be Imperial China, and it was a Monarchy...

Yeah but which one has more pros then cons? Actually I should be asking which one has cons that aren't severe.

are not Communism, Republics, and Parliamentary systems the same thing with different trappings? I mean Republics are not even always democratic: North Korea, hereditary ruler, Communist Party, yet called a Democratic Republic.
People's Republic, also especially in other languages Popular Republic, is a title that has often been used by Marxist-Leninist governments to describe their state. The motivation for using this term lies in the claim that Marxist-Leninists govern in accordance with the interests of the vast majority of the people, and, as such, a Marxist-Leninist republic is a people's republic. Many of these countries also called themselves socialist states in their constitutions; Albania, for instance, used both terms, "socialist" and "people's," in its official name from 1976 to 1991. Opponents[who?] of Marxism-Leninism argue that the name "people's republic" is merely used for propaganda purposes.
