Polaris International Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Internasional Polaris) (IATA: PLR, ICAO: PLRS) is the main airport serving the greater Snowpoint City area on the mainland of Lykosia. It is located in the southeast of the city, in Windy District.
Polaris International Airport has eight terminals. From the eight, one terminal is for cargo and one is exclusively reserved for Air Lykosia . Each terminal has 15 to 30 gates. Polaris International Airport is operated by Angkasa Biru Company, a state-owned company. The airport supports all type of planes.
Facilities
Aircraft catering
Aircraft catering at Polaris International Airport supported by BigFood Catering Services (BCS). BCS was founded in 1995 as a provider of catering services to airlines Air Lykosia. BCS also serve meals to the aircraft charter services, VIP/VVIP and special flights.
Aircraft maintenance
Facilities to maintenance aircraft in Polaris International Airport supported by PMF Antarctic AeroMechanical (Polaris Maintenance Facility). They comprise 500,000 m2 of built-up structures, including three hangars, a spares warehouse, workshops, utility buildings, ground support equipment building, chemical stores, engine test cell and management offices. In addition, PMF Antarctic AeroMechanical has an apron capable of handling up to 50 aircraft, taxiways, a run-up bay and a waste treatment area taking up a 1,000,000 m2 area.

Polaris International Airport has one hotel which are managed by Archangel Airport Hotel. Archangel Airport Hotel is located on the left side of the main gate, has 5 floors with 350 guest rooms.
Shopping area
shopping areas are available in all terminals at Polaris International Airport. Duty free shops, souvenir shops, restaurants and cafeteria can be found there.
Lykosia Information Center
Lykosia Information Center is provided by Polaris International Airport to provide the tourist all information about Lykosia; like transportations, interesting places; etc. It is located in Terminal A and Terminal E.
Clinic & Quarantine Room
The clinic was provided by PLR to treat any sick passengers. If the disease is dangerous and contagious, the patient will be moved to the quarantine room.
Transportation
Inter-terminal transportation
Polaris International Airport provides free shuttle bus which connects all terminals in Polaris International Airport. Operated for 24 hours.
Bus
Several shuttle airport bus are serving various destination from PLR, currently it served by one bus operator, the GrayWolf Bus Service or simply referred as GrayWolf. Its bus services operated from 4 a.m to 7 p.m, the bus will stops at departures area in all terminal. All buses use Route 01 Toll Road to out from Polaris airport area.
Car
PLR is connected to Snowpoint City's city center via the Route 01 Toll Road. There is extensive car parking, including long-stay facilities. Car rental is also available, operated by Makmur Jaya Car Rental.
Taxi
There's several taxicabs that operates in PLR, like the WhiteBear Cab, Storm Taxi, Blackbird Taxi, etc.
Rail
Polaris International Airport is connected to Snowpoint City by Subway/Underground Train, operated by the RailConnect Company.
Security
At the entrance, all vehicles will be inspected by security officers manually and with the help of Police Canines Unit. A Compact Vehicle Search Mirror also will be used to check under the car for bombs or other dangerous/prohibited items.
In all terminals, there's a security section which requires passengers to be inspected before get into the plane. They use X-Ray machines to check baggages and Thermal Scan to see if any of the passengers are sick with disease(Usually applied only in epidemic/pandemic situations). All passengers also required to walked past the Metal Detector. Surveillance canines from the Police Canines Unit also present. All cargo also will be inspected before they put in a plane with X-Ray and Bomb Detectors.
Generally, security in PLR always in service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Security guards were armed with LY20 HILAR, BP-08 rifles, P-92 pistols and they're also equipped with batons, taser guns and pepper sprays. CCTVs were installed in every sectors and areas, except private rooms like bathroom. Police officer and the Airport Security officer were placed in every sections of the airport.
