Mokastana: Then Lyras happened.
Allanea: Wanting to avoid fighting Lyras' fuck-huge military is also a reasonable IC consideration
TPF: Who is stupid enough to attack a Lyran convoy?
Sumer: Honestly, I'd rather face Doom's military with Doom having a 3-1 advantage over me, than take a 1-1 fight with a well-supplied Lyran tank unit.
Kinsgard: RL Lyras is like a real life video game character.
Ieperithem: Eighty four. Eighty four percent of their terrifyingly massive GDP goes directly into their military. And they actually know how to manage it. It's safe to say there isn't a single nation that could feasibly stand against them if they wanted it to die.
Yikes. Just... Yikes.

Licana on the M-21A2 MBT: "Well, it is one of the most badass tanks on NS."
Vortiaganica: Lamoni I understand fully, of course. The two (Lamoni & Lyras) are more inseparable than the Clinton family and politics.
Triplebaconation: Lamoni commands a quiet respect that carries its own authority. He is the Mandela of NS.

HogushoOOC: Please see our response to your order on the main Lyran Arms page.
AshebourtonThe cost for DPRs to the LY83 Fox is set at 1,000,000,000 standard dollars. While this price is set in stone, we can offer you the option of paying the total cost of your order via a payment plan. Please advise as to whether you wish to continue with this order.

AshebourtonThe total DPR costs of the LY83 Fox are set in stone at exactly the amount of money that you are proposing to spend on it (1 billion standard dollars). The DPR terms would essentially allow you to produce the Fox in your own nation, for use by your own national military or police forces. In the event that you should wish to resell the design to other nations, you would wish to contact us again, and we will see what can be done in that regard. Lyran Arms thanks you for your highly valued custom. As ever, if you have further questions, please do not hesitate to ask them.

Piston ArmamentAfter consultations with the main branch of Lyran Arms, it has been decided to grant you resale rights to the LY83 Fox. However, this is under the limitation that you provide half of all profits gained on the design directly to Lyran Arms. We shall wave the DPR costs, and send you the needed materials, information, and personell in order to get your program off of the ground. Lyran Arms thanks you for your valuable custom.

Anemos Major wrote:OOC: Lyras; could I ask for a heavy armoured variant of the Fox, in preparation for a rather nasty bout of urban warfare?
Thanks.
As for the drawing I promised a year ago... it's nearly done, but in Japan. Just a bit more waiting, please... sorry.
I might actually have to rectify it, though; I just amended my helmet designs.

OOC:... did that agreeement include vehicle design modification?
I mean, you're free to try, but I buy Lyras because... well, Lyras is Lyras.

The doors are based off the projected US replacement of the HMMWV; the Oshkosh M-ATV. If the US military does not find the doors difficult for accessibility, than I don't see the logic behind your statement...anyway, Hope you get what your looking for. And thank you for at least checking out the hardware.

Mm... actually, the GPSV might be an interesting investment for my SF forces in Asakura. Could you, perchance, heighten the suspension and increase the size of the wheels?
