ELECTIONS FOR THE FREE CITIZENS PARLIAMENT

Postby Bulgislavia » Sun May 25, 2014 4:58 pm

THE FREE CITIZENS PARLIAMENT was created during the May Day demonstrations to protest the slow pace of political reform under the Interim Government. It is a grass roots, people power movement to create an independent political body to challenge the institutions of the mainstream establishment.

The Interim Government has publicly stated its support for this political development and has promised not to interfere with its activities.

The main factions vying for votes to the Free Citizens Parliament are:

SOCIAL MOVEMENT ALLIANCE: Is an alliance of various grass roots social movements and causes, they wish to unite to give themselves a greater voice in the political scene of the country

POPULAR WILL: Is another grass roots movement with a focus on direct democracy and people power, it directly came about from the Peoples Democracy movement that came to characterize the Great Peoples Enlightenment Revolution back in 2011

THE VOICE OF THE DISPOSSESSED: is a movement dedicated to the cause of those internally displaced inside Bulgislavia, who lost everything during the civil war, they represent refugee's and the marginalized and all those who feel like they are at the bottom of the social structure

PARTY OF THE MASSES: A political organization that is dedicated to the cause of a people power revolution and is in line with the ideology of the Great Peoples Enlightenment Revolution to turn Bulgislavia into a "State of the masses"

RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS GROUP: Is a group dedicated to human rights, democracy and freedom

BLACK BLOC: Is a radical anarchist faction that had dedicated itself to participating in these elections to ensure that "The Free Citizens Parliament is not high jacked by the establishment" and that this newly created body remains "close to the people, among the grass roots"

RED BLOC: Is the grass roots faction of the communist and socialist movement

(Every participant gets two votes, one for their preferred choice and another for their second choice)

On the various free media outlets springing up all over the country, various organizations and members of pressure groups have become much more visible putting their point across for true social change led by the grass roots of mobilized people.

The "Popular Assembly" movement which at its most popular, dominated grass roots politics in 2012, has come back into fashion as parks and public squares are occupied with citizens who wish to partake in grass roots direct/participatory democracy where discussions and debates are being held about various issues.

With the rise in popularity of the Popular Assembly movements, familiar names who are known for street level activism have made a re-appearance.

The most famous of these is Athena Rianu, who is still said to be in a relationship with imprisoned ex president Radu Suslov. She is now a high level leader of the "Social Justice Front" which is one of the main groups that have formed the Social Movement Alliance.

A prominent Anarchist and Partisan veteran Enver Pacheri was also at the fore front of a massive "Black Bloc" demonstration in Revolutionary Priesti.

There is a massive push by the independent media to get the Free Citizens Parliament movement in the headlines to engage the population, while the mainstream, state controlled media continues to cover footage of Interim Assembly debates and the long speeches of Chairman Igor Rukesku.......

Which left movcement needs guns to make a revolution?
"This guy is a State socialist, which doesn't so much mean mass murder and totalitarianism as it means trying to have a strong state to lead the way out of poverty and towards a bright future. Strict state control of the economy is necessary to make the great leap forward into that brighter future, and all elements of society must be sure to contribute or else."

Well Bulgislavia has just emerged from a bloody civil war that lasted from March 2013 - December 2013, the left wing dominated provisional government won against the genocidal madness of the Asimovist regime (which was backed by Shadow Org, an oligarchic organization based on the Illuminati that dominated the country from behind the scenes)

However there is still a huge demand for social change and for the ideals of the 2011/2012 Great Peoples Enlightenment Revolution to be fully realized of a total people power democracy.

The "Anarchist" polity of Priesti however has many groups that would willingly stock pile weapons in the event the central government decides to crush the Priesti city state's anarchist experiment. Also some Bulgislavian's understand the CTALNH has a strong far leftist tradition, I'm sure some CTALNH integral personalities would be welcome as guest speakers at the various demonstrations and Popular Assemblies taking place

adds CTALNH to dossier*

Bulgislavia is already described by some as a radical leftist state (to some degree even the civil war was being fought between differing shades of red/leftism)

The only threat of a counter revolution comes from the Peoples Enterprise* Union and the Polities that voted to align themselves with the Peoples Enterprise League during the Polity Affiliation elections at the start of the year

* because Corporations were banned in Bulgislavia in 2012 as "Parasitic and anti-human institutions" the government permitted the next best thing "Peoples Enterprises", although many of these are run by the wealthiest sectors of Bulgislavian society and operate much like regular corporations, Trade Union activity is found throughout and "Workers Empowerment" and "Workplace Democracy" quite entrenched, they are still stratified and hierarchical structures, with the exception of a few of the more radical Peoples Enterprises.

The main economic counter balance to the power and influence of the Peoples Enterprises is the Bulgislavian Confederation of Labour, an alliance of trade unions dominated by the three most powerful
Trade Union of Bulgislavia T.U.B.
Revolutionary Workers Front R.W.F.
and Bulgislavian Workers Freedom B.W.F.
