Welcome to the Corona Corporation's Embassy program at the Eridu colony! We intend to provide all the information you need in order to complete and submit an application. About the Embassy Locations:

Eridu's diplomatic section is located in the capital of the colony, the Therikanna Complex. Eridu architecture may be somewhat different to that of your homeworlds; space is at a premium in the capital and we like to build upwards. If you have a particular need for a ground-floor accommodation, please mention this in your application. Otherwise, your staff will be housed in one of the famed skytowers of the capital. Transport links are excellent, and walkways connect the tower network at every tenth level.

Diplomatic Immunity:

Registered ambassadors and diplomats will not be prosecuted by Eridu courts. However, we will request that any criminal offense be dealt with in a fair court of law on your own soil if you wish to maintain a diplomatic presence on the colony. I write to you concerning your recent application for an embassy at the Eridu colony. We at Eridu have a few reservations about this application, which we would like to see addressed prior to approval.

Firstly, we would ask you to review the informational material we sent along with your application. You appear to have inadvertently returned this to us, and so we will send you a fresh copy. Please note that the embassies are located in the skytowers of Therikanna and, as such, do not have lawns.

As far as hunting is concerned, the shooting of sentient life forms for food or sport is, while not prohibited by law, culturally inappropriate on Eridu. If you or your delegation wish to consume meat products, you may purchase lab-grown, cruelty-free meat from all major food retailers. If you enjoy the social aspects of hunting, several companies offer entertainment services where one can hunt mechanical, non-sentient 'animals' on private woodland reserves outside the city. Please let us know if these alternatives are acceptable.

Your groundcars are acceptable, however, we would ask that you permit us to fit upgrades where necessary, to ensure that your vehicles are suited to Therikanna's high-speed, high-traffic roadways.

Our socialist system concentrates more on the people than the corporations, many defunct companies have fallen into government hands because they acted against the well-being of the population; I would also like to thank you for respecting our non-interventionist policies. If Eridu and Vultasia were to agree to free trade, then Eridu-originated companies are required to pay minimum wage to their workers and agree to our weekly quality checks. There will be no trading taxes or tariffs and our Navy will protect all cargoes coming in and out of both nations. Eridu-originated companies will be relieved of our regulations, tariffs, and our 97% Vultasian-workforce law. Your companies will also be whitelisted so the Lucifers won't keep an eye on your businesses.

No, we do not wish to waive all diplomatic immunity outside embassy grounds. Our policy on possible criminal records are part of our strict quality check when it comes to accepting one ambassador or another. This is due to the fact many countries often have ambassadors who are simply up in that position through corruption, bribery, or selected by a psychotic dictator purely because they think it will be "fun" to see how he acts around foreign people. We are unwilling to prosecute "hopeless" criminals, meaning we will not help those who raped a woman or murdered someone and have overwhelming evidence against him or her. Some other crimes like shouting something otherwise considered a crime in another country, using illegal recreational drugs or car crashes, the Vultasian diplomatic immunity law would be in effect. Our strict, yet very confusing laws on this is to protect Vultasia's semi-isolation as we refuse to have any criminals within our borders. However, ever since our Queen joined the World Assembly, a possible change in diplomatic immunity laws are very possible if she is addressed about it. If we do not prosecute, then the stateless would be dealt with however Eridu courts see fit. Our socialist system concentrates more on the people than the corporations, many defunct companies have fallen into government hands because they acted against the well-being of the population; I would also like to thank you for respecting our non-interventionist policies. If Eridu and Vultasia were to agree to free trade, then Eridu-originated companies are required to pay minimum wage to their workers and agree to our weekly quality checks. There will be no trading taxes or tariffs and our Navy will protect all cargoes coming in and out of both nations. Eridu-originated companies will be relieved of our regulations, tariffs, and our 97% Vultasian-workforce law. Your companies will also be whitelisted so the Lucifers won't keep an eye on your businesses.

No, we do not wish to waive all diplomatic immunity outside embassy grounds. Our policy on possible criminal records are part of our strict quality check when it comes to accepting one ambassador or another. This is due to the fact many countries often have ambassadors who are simply up in that position through corruption, bribery, or selected by a psychotic dictator purely because they think it will be "fun" to see how he acts around foreign people. We are unwilling to prosecute "hopeless" criminals, meaning we will not help those who raped a woman or murdered someone and have overwhelming evidence against him or her. Some other crimes like shouting something otherwise considered a crime in another country, using illegal recreational drugs or car crashes, the Vultasian diplomatic immunity law would be in effect. Our strict, yet very confusing laws on this is to protect Vultasia's semi-isolation as we refuse to have any criminals within our borders. However, ever since our Queen joined the World Assembly, a possible change in diplomatic immunity laws are very possible if she is addressed about it. If we do not prosecute, then the stateless would be dealt with however Eridu courts see fit. If neither of us wish to prosecute, we are open for compromise, discussions and possible change in our laws. We apologise for causing you this confusion.

Another information I am unclear with is that we Vultasians are infamous for our Vampiric appearances, many of us have sharper fangs than others and are unfortunately unable to tan ourselves even in the coastal city of Juno.
