4^TH SEA - Security Strategies Division's Maritime Command issued a statement today stating that the CSS Blackmore, a frigate with Second Fleet, was sunk by fire from the CSS Exemplary and the HEMS Balmung. The sinking, authorized by Maritime Command, came after the ship was reported missing at sea. An investigation is ongoing to determine the fate of the crew, who were not on board at the time.

ELYOMIA - Officials in Elyomia approved an application for an NMSI national sales office in their country today, and talks for free-trade and non-aggression agreements with the President of Elyomia are now under way. Military Reconstruction Orders Accepted

CSS Blackmore Crewman Found
BLAURBURG, SCHRATTAL- Seaman Janice Tulip was found floating in a regulation life-raft some 4,000 nautical miles away from the site of the CSS Blackmore's sinking, when it was found abandoned late last Febuary. Tulip, 19, was barely clinging to life when she was brought aboard a Tallische ship by Konigsmarine Troops early this morning, and is in critical condition at the Royal Military Hospital in Blaurburg. As the only known survivor of whatever event caused the crew to abandon ship, her testimony will be invaluable to the ongoing inquiry into those events. Two more sailors were found in her life raft, and were declared dead on the scene. Early reports indicate that she may have survived through cannibalism. MINDOVA - In a surprise move, the Spiritual Services Division of ABDS Corporation has announced a new program for the disposal of human bodies, which they are calling a Human Tissue Recycling Program. BLACKMORE CITY - BCPD riot police were brought in at Mindova University Park in order to disperse gathering protesters claiming a connection to the worldwide Occupy movement. Occupy, a psuedo-socialist objectionist movement, made international headlines during major protests last year. Occupy Blackmore protesters were attempting to illegally occupy the private property of the park as squatters. Upon their refusal to leave peaceable, CS-derived Tear Gas canisters were fired into the ground. Officers in protective clothing arrested the trespassers. Adelaide: Democratic Consensia Alliance Invalidated
LYCIA, PRDC - Recently-appointed Vice President of the Security Services Division Dan Adelaide announced today that his office is invalidating the formal alliance with Democratic Consensia. Consensia, who were the opposition in the Niska Canton invasion, have "demonstrated untrustworthy motivation" by developing their nuclear program, and by harbouring fugitives from Schrattal who have been accused of terrorism and sedition.
