RS-120 Battle Rifle The RS-120 is a domestically designed and produced model. It fires the 7.62x54R cartridge at a muzzle velocity of 700 m/s, and has a range of 600 to 700m. It is issued to all of RSX's conscripted units, and can be manufactured rapidly and simply. RS-70 Machine Pistol The RS-70 is half inurgency weapon, half standard issue sidearm. With a simple construction of mostly stamped steel, it is a cheaply and easily produced gun, and is able to be made in underground factories in occupied territories friendly to RSX. It has a telescoping stock mounted on the right side of the weapon, under the ejection port. It fires the 9x18mm Makarov cartridge at a muzzle velocity of 390m/s, with an effective range of 100m.

This weapon is planned to be made available for export in the near future.
SX-99 Marksman Battle Rifle The SX-99 is the other standard weapon of the Sturmkommandotruppen. They use it as both a sniper rifle and as a battle rifle. It fires the 7.62x54R round at a muzzle velocity of 775m/s, for an effective range of close to a kilometer.
In the wake of World War II, the victorious Axis powers divvied up occupied Eurasia and Africa into sectors. Novaya Zemyla was one of those sectors. Because it had been in the USSR, it was assigned the color Red; and because it was the tenth established of these sectors, it was given the numeral X. Hence, Red Sector X was born. For 20 years, it was a quiet sector, populated initially with British prisoners of war and White Russians, and governed by Germans. But in 1984, an experiment in causality in the central portion of the island went horribly wrong. The entire territory, more or less, was warped back in time, as well as being sent to an alternate dimension. At that point, crazy shit went down. But the gist of it is that RSX is a '70s tech nation, in a '40s tech world.
