It's got stuff i've done for NS, and just for fun.

So first up, NS stuff:

These are the ranks for Ethanthova's military.

I'll work on making the text clearer. But until then...

One of our Officers. Not this was drawn before the i made the ranking system. Therefore, the insignias won't match up.

A close up of the cap and collar. Again, drawn before the ranks. (I can't draw faces. pretend it's on a mannequin)

One of our brand new Spec-Ops troops. I cannot disclose any info at this time.

This is meant to be secret.

I can actually draw cartoon faces. It's just realistic faces that have me stumped.

Decent concepts; just when drawing people, watch out on how long you draw the torsos. Right now they look like they have extra-long spines (which would be an interesting concept within itself...).

I like the drawings. The detail put into the armor in the most recent (spec-ops) drawing is impressive and certainly shows potential for even more carefully done and more well-done work in the future.

A little tip: I noticed the grenade on his belt seemed a bit two-dimensional. Try curving the horizontal lines on it so that they bend outward towards the center of the grenade to give it a rounder and more realistic appearance.

Plus, from an OOC standpoint, I don't appreciate it (and I assume the artist wouldn't appreciate it either) when people just come in and diss other peoples' work, especially when I try to encourage other people to create said work. "You thought there was detail? That's funny. I didn't." That's utterly useless unless some sort of method for improvement is suggested. I thought the drawings were good, and gave a pointer on how to make a bit of improvement (as did others here in this thread), but this poster just makes a lousy complaint about a lack of detail and a lack of faces and goes on his way.

There is detail. He's just aiming to degrade the drawings on display. Therefore, I'll aim to degrade his lame and unproductive opinion on display. It's only fair.

Haha, it was just a little advice and something to look for when drawing. Wasn't asking for perfection in any way. .

I think its funny that you think talking about a detail=excessive criticism. Detail=/=good. lack of detail=/=bad.

I really like these drawings. You've partly-inspired me to dig out my own sketches of the uniforms of my army and try to get them done again. Now only if I could actually draw well...

Well i have this little book that has the insignias of several armies. I took some elements from the British and American armys. Another thing is that the book covers WW2, so it's probably different from modern ranking, i don't know . I'll probably revise it over some time.

These are actually pretty good. The officers remind me of Star Wars Imperial officers. I really like the Spec Ops one at the end.

I think i drew the officers before i found NS, so when i started playing i thought i could integrate them. I have some drawings of Ethanthova's police, too. (Nope, they don't have faces either. I really should practice.)

I do! Just that i usually put all my drawings somewhere then i can't find them, but maybe making some vehicles for Ethanthova would be a good idea. I Like your drawings, by the way.
