The League of Imperial Nations
Peace Through Imperial Firepower
For all future applicants, please be aware that the League is an alliance made up of role-playing nations.
Therefore we are only accepting of nations that focus on role-playing within NS.
We also ask, that should you submit an application, that you also visit us in our IRC channel.
This way our council staff and other members can assess you as a player, and this will help them during the voting process.

Trade Member [ ]
Trade as it entails, allows you a discounted rate of logistics in moving product between allied nations, and possibly discounts on said products between yourself and whomever you are dealing with. This is up to each nation on arrangements.
Military Member [ ]
Being a military member nation is to take up the responsibility of both defending the all league member nations, as well as yourself, but also to represent the league with honor and distinction.
Military member nations receive discounts(via select corporations, ask please) to military hardware, advanced training, and share in joint military establishments in key areas to the trade routes for it's protection as well as offensive staging points should member nations have hostile actions taken against them.
Protectorate Member [ ]
Protectorate nations are often those who are either a developing nation, or that which is rebuilding after some form of strife. Protectorates are mentored by larger nations, supplied with trade and armaments and protected until such time as they can stand on their own two feet, and waive the status to become full members of the alliance at a time of their choosing.
Protectorates often have their sponsor nations military in bases upon their own soil, furthering the training and equipping of their native armies. A perk to being a protectorate is that they are by status automatically both Trade and Military member nations.
Occupied For The Greater Good [ ]
As the name would imply, these nations have been militarily occupied by the League. It could have been a vanquished enemy, seized under the guise of maintaining law and security, or any number of reason. This is also to stimulate role-play within the League itself. Initially it would be more then likely military actions, but could grow into non-military related play as well. Nations choosing this option will have one or more of the following:
League Military Bases in their nations, their populace governed under martial law or at the very least a colonial authority.
As the nation in question, you may pick what sort of Occupation.
[ ] League Military Bases
[ ] Martial Law
[ ] Colonial Authority [Your nation is thus considered a provisional territory of the League. You have slight independence, but supreme authority rests with the League Council.]
Nations who agree to this placement come under the terms of being a colonial holding of the League and there will be a definitive presence by us in your lands.
