Maybe you shouldn't take everything like its some kind of personal attack. JPT revels in natsov arguments because when he tries to write antiwar legislation and when people try to repeal his works, natsov is all he hears.
So please, excuse him for making it a personal focus.

Ah, and through there runs the problem with text-only communication. I had no intention to make the quoted statement sound angry and/or confrontational.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY PROPOSAL
ID: jimmy_ovid_nation_1425551835
Development Agenda 1

A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Category: Human Rights

Strength: Strong

Proposed by: Jimmy Ovid Nation

Description:

Presenting a general overview of the first chapter for the theme "development agenda" and the following core elements that should be taken into consideration, in particular all nations' head-of-states who have sworn to rule her nation:

 Our responsibility and sense of urgency:
On moving forward, the final stages that are to define the agenda must emphasize a profound sense of urgency in achieving trans-formative change, thus ensuring the survival and well-being of present and future generations. We similarly emphasize people as rights-holders and governments as duty-bearers; as well as the Principle of Common but Differentiated Responsibilities to address inequalities among nations.

 The need to shift to a development paradigm respectful of natural, human and cultural diversities:
Many of the world’s crises are rooted in structural and historically determined inequality, injustice, discrimination, environmental and social exploitation, embedded in the current development paradigm. Entrenched profit and power-oriented interests are behind unsustainable and unjust patterns of extraction, production, consumption and waste that are driving poverty, hunger and climate change in the world today. We must ensure that the development paradigm that informs the cognizant of the world´s plurality and diversity, valuing and respecting cultures and people´s fundamental rights, as well as the rights of the Mother Earth and all living beings.

 Education:
Target and rightly ensures free equitable and quality primary and secondary education for all boys and girls and other targets convey a rights-based perspective of education, acknowledging persons with disabilities, youth and adult education and lifelong learning. This development agenda must be to ensure that all learners are taught by qualified, professionally trained, motivated and well-supported teachers.

Approvals: 1 (Jimmy Ovid Nation)

Status: Lacking Support (requires 82 more approvals)

Voting Ends: in 3 days 6 hours

Doesn't do anything. I can't even tell what they're trying to achieve.

While it is illegal by trying to legislate game mechanics, i dont see how it is silly. He/she wants a change in order for nations to reapply to be in the WA. I see nothing silly about it. If it was better worded and explained it better i doubt you would call it silly.

It seems a lot of people in this thread use "bloody stupid" and "silly" as a valid reason for calling it illegal. No agreeing with it does not make it stupid or illegal.

Description: Guns are not a bad thing. They protect people if they're in the right hands. Every citizen in every nation in every region should be trained to use and given a gun. I believe that this will lower the crime rate of every nation. The bad guys already have guns, most likely through illegal means such as the black market. But if the good people of everyone's nation have guns, then they can stop the criminals in the event that the police force can't reach the scene in time. There may not even be a new for a police force if everyone can protect themselves. So I ask the people of the WA to join me in giving every single person a gun for the greater good of your nation, your region, and your world. Thank you and have a great day...you will be able to have an even better day when all your citizens have guns and your crime rate is at an all time low.

This proposal doesn't have an operative clause.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY PROPOSAL
ID: apercoriabajaia_1425589704

Repeal "International Road Safety"
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Category: Repeal

Resolution: GA#83

Proposed by: Apercoriabajaia

Description: WA General Assembly Resolution #83: International Road Safety (Category: Free Trade; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: Description: WA General Assembly Resolution #83 International Road Safety (Category: Free Trade, Strength: Mild, Proposed by New Rocket) Shall be repealed and removed from the laws that are active.
Argument: The World Assembly,
I do think that there needs to be regulation on trade in general but I find many issues with this bill
Concerned Clause #1 Does not specify what regulations must be made to ensure the safety of the vehicle. This authorizes it, but does not present any actual regulatory laws
Concerned Clause #2 Does not again elaborate on the issues of ITSC standards and specifics on what they should do. Also regulating customs, curbs, streetlamps, roads, gates, signage, custom plazas does not relate to the safety of international trade or road. While there might be a bill to increase the amount of lighting on the road and better the roads themselves, this bill does not actually ensure that safety will be better improved with this bill.
Concerned Clause #3 Does not specify which committees would run this. There is also an issue with setting a worldwide standard or relying on nations to improve standards to what they think is the best, which may not be the same as to another nation's regulation.
Disappointed with the lack of specification and its broadness
Hoping for the World Assembly to repeal this bill and create a more clear bill on International road safety in the future.
Hereby repeals ¨General Assembly Resolution #83 International Road Safety¨

Smoke Weed Everyday?

A resolution to ban, legalize, or encourage recreational drugs.

Category: Recreational Drug Use

Decision: Legalize

Proposed by: Skovileind

Description: Recreational Drug Use has been a very controversial topic.

Some nations would debate it's bad for the health and well-being of citizens, but it's themselves and their decision whether or not to use recreational drugs.
Legalizing recreational drug use would also lower crime rates as drug users/dealers wouldn't have the police interfering, thus not killing them.
In addition, it would boost the economy as well, a lot of people want drugs, and a lot of people sell drugs. And would frankly make citizens happier.

In case you didn't read that:
Pros- 1. Less crime/death
2. Better economy
3. More civil rights/happier citizens.

Cons- Nah dude

-Ulfric Stormcloak of The People's Republic of Skovileind
Branding.

Fair Wages

A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Category: Human Rights

Strength: Strong

Proposed by: Galnation

Description: This will make more fair wages all over the WA.

Pro's
Stronger economic Nations
More Human Rights
More Overall Revenue

Con's

Less Private sector Revenue
Does nothing, just a very brief "pro's-n-con's" list.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY PROPOSAL
ID: aheiscenia_1425676342

Repeal "Wartime Looting and Pillage"
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Category: Repeal

Resolution: GA#317

Proposed by: Aheiscenia

Description: WA General Assembly Resolution #317: Wartime Looting and Pillage (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: Article I.

Defining the goal of war is "an act of violence intended to compel our opponent to fulfill our will" (General Carl von Clausewitz)

In war time, demoralizing your enemy is necessary and to replace seized good of your enemy is counter-productive, rendering war useless

When militants capture territories all items in the region become property of the aggressor, this includes artifacts.

Also, preventing each instance of individual soldiers/ officers taking loot is extremely difficult and is also too expensive for most armed forces to afford.

In addition, war time provides the only ways of income to that nation or soldier and the document in question limits that nation's/ soldier's flow of income.

In hopes that the legislation be revised to better suit the needs of nations world wide,

The World Assembly Repeals World Assembly Resolution #317, “Wartime Looting and Pillage”

Approvals: 1 (Bryganland)

This would actually be a pretty good repeal, if it didn't break every rule in the book. :p

Really? "Humane execution" is kind of an oxymoron.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY PROPOSAL
ID: sacred_stars_1425758329

Repeal "Wartime Looting and Pillage"
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Category: Repeal

Resolution: GA#317

Proposed by: Sacred Stars

Description: WA General Assembly Resolution #317: Wartime Looting and Pillage (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: While this resolution has great meaning and great point, there are so many ways this can be worked around by using the word "necessary" which may be defined differently per country, effectively making this resolution pointless, as a country can say any looting or pillaging is necessary.

Approvals: 0

Status: Lacking Support (requires 83 more approvals)

Voting Ends: in 3 days 8 hours

No operative clause, doesn't really address the whole resolution (especially with the margin that the resolution passed by) and a strength violation.
Add this to the fact that it will take two weeks to get through the queue at the length it is.

Wait, a repeal with a strength violation?

Oh, wait, never mind, it automatically mentions the strength. My bad.
