That's what FF just said. Right here:
Frustrated Franciscans wrote:There are a lot of modern diseases that show various traits of zombie behavior and it's not outside the range of classical science fiction to extrapolate a combination that would be very nasty.

I...I should probably go to sleep. I've been running on empty for the last 18 hours or so.

OOC: Well, a lot of our RP doesn't exist in RL, and yes, the proposal should be rewritten as a "maybe" scenario, but the way the metagaming rule is now written...

Proposals cannot break the "fourth wall" or attempt to force events outside of the WA itself. This includes and is not limited to forcing the Security Council to carry out specific actions, mandating that regions carry out specific actions, and forcing compliance on non-member nations.

...doesn't mention "forced RP", under which the "fantasy things are real" language would go. (In fact, there's no mention of "forced RP" or even roleplaying in the current rules.)

And "forced RP" doesn't fall within a legal interpretation of either "breaking the fourth wall" or attempting "to force events outside of the WA itself"?
H'mm...
I need to re-read the explanation about why that particular rule was changed.

OOC: Can the Council change the rules? If yes, please re-install the "no forced RP" one. :P

OOC: That's on the list of possibilities to be sorted out, although personally I don't think that we should make changes without wider consultation.

This proposal removes every defense we have against the infection. Also, why do you believe the cure specifically designed for the infection is a "chemical weapon"? Why do you believe an infected has any form of rationality in the first place? The infection removes any form of sentience from the infected, and drives it to spread the disease nationwide. It is like you want to destroy every nation with this disease like some bug-spreading airhead. South Arachovia strongly opposes this proposal, and considers it nothing more than a ridiculous joke.

Sincerely,
Danielle Typhot
Minister of Foreign affairs of South Arachovia

Teran Saber: "The Greater Siriusian Domain believes that a resolution that protects the undead without taking sapience into account could very easily be counterproductive. If the hypothetical undead in question exhibits sapience, then for all intents and purposes they are protected like any other sapient species and by extension subject to any and all laws governing them (see: liches, mummies, artificially reanimated corpses similar to Frankenstein's monster, Vampires, some examples of Jiang-Shi, some examples of living skeletons, wandering ghosts). If not, then they are not subject to those protections (see: most zombies)."

Fairburn: Ambassador, this is an outrage! Every year, these scum perform the exact same dance to the exact same 80's pop song! It's getting annoying!

Neville: Do you know of any zombies, Ambassador Fairburn?

Fairburn: I'm probably going to turn into a zombie after reading all these awful proposals!
