[DRAFT] Repeal "Read the Resolution Act"

(I'm really sorry i'm a little bit late, I didn't know I had to post a DRAFT before )
RECOGNIZING that a government office that has for only task to read new resolution is an unnecessary bureaucratic cost.
RECOGNIZING that it is unfair to impose a costly office to everybody just because a minority of people don't read the resolutions.
UNDERSTANDING that the real problem is that some people don't bother to read the resolution before voting and imposing a government office to every region won't solve the problem.
DEPLORING that the people who don't read the resolutions are a serious problem and a threat to our democracy but this resolution won't solve that problem.

Oh, wait a minute, you're trying to repeal the Read the Resolution Act? First of all, fix your thread title, the Humanitarian Aid Expansion Act is not interchangeable with Knootoss's masterpiece. Second, your budget obligations for GAR 122, is the cost of a Chair, a Lightbulb, and Minimum Wage for the guy slated to sit around and read resolutions. You don't have a leg to stand on here.

I telegrammed the author to post this draft here. You need to add a repeals clause, something like, 'Repeals 122 GA "Read the Resolution Act".'

Rather than pointing out how this repeal is obviously contradicting itself, I think I'm seeing an 'honest misunderstanding' here. At present the repeal claims: "UNDERSTANDING that the real problem is that some people don't bother to read the resolution before voting and imposing a government office to every region won't solve the problem."

However, there is no mention of 'regions' in the Read the Resolution Act. General Assembly resolutions cannot actually affect anything that 'regions' do and they have no bearing on regional gameplay. The rules don't allow it.

In fact, the entire proposal skirts the fourth wall right now since it talks about 'people' not reading resolutions. Which people does the author mean? Players?

If I were the author of the resolution, I would file a GHR to have the repeal removed from the General Assembly floor. We can all discuss it here and the author can make revisions as needed. Beyond that, with it already being submitted there is not much that can be done.

It's not like I've been away. And Imperium Anglorum has been a worthy presence, doing the things I'd be doing if I were around.

I'm happy to extend a hand of friendship and help Voxin Cariba draft a better resolution though. Even if I'd suggest a different topic!

I am sorry everyone I think I may have make a huge mistake by posting this proposition without being properly inform. I made a demand to ma proposition to be removed by the moderator. But i think I learn something from this and next time I made a proposition I will try to verify everything

before posting it. Sorry about that reckless act.

It may just be me, but I don't really think that you have anything to apologize for. A simple misunderstanding took place, okay, next. Welcome to the General Assembly, I am glad to see that you are looking to participate and kudos to you for doing so. Do not think of this as a set back, just a lesson well learned.

That's a horrid idea! If he got banned from the WA for rules violations (the only thing, other than be a Predator-Raider, which I recall being WA-eject worthy), why would you then do the same thing that got him ejected?
