Proposal for mandatory freedom of religion

Description

Aware that in many nations there is a national religion that people are forced to follow.

Appalled that such a violation of civil rights continuously happens.

Recognizes that many nations take their religion very seriously.

Assures that this resolution does not stop a government from funding a religion, it only stops it from forcing people to follow it.
Hereby Declares that a government is banned from forcing an individual to:

1. attend a worship of a particular religion.

2. pray to a particular deity.

Or otherwise forcing an individual to believe or follow the teachings of a religion, spiritual group, or religious cult.

Enforcing the above resolution with the power of the World Assembly
