There arises another question: the Stelloni constitution states that any act of the Council of the Federated States of Stellonia may be nullified if 15 of the 22 states vote to do so. As GAR #286 "MANDATES that Member Nations recognise the right of all individuals to have their pregnancies terminated through safe, openly accessible procedures," without mandating that political subdivisions of member nations do the same, the Stelloni states may themselves prohibit abortion (I established that the termination of pregnancy and abortion are the same thing). One might think that this "problem" is solved by the next clause, which states "[The World Assembly] DEMANDS that Member Nations prohibit any impediment to the termination of pregnancy that is not applied to medical procedures of similar risk and complexity[.]" However, when any conflict arises between the Constitution of the Federated States of Stellonia and any other Stelloni law, the Constitution is favored over the other law, as is explicitly stated in the Constitution itself. As all 22 states voted to nullify the forced legalization of abortion in Stellonia, all of the effects of GAR #286, except for its prohibition on forcing women to have abortions against their will, was nullified. This is why the power of state nullification is an effective way to circumvent the effects of World Assembly resolutions.

You can do any academic back flips you see fit however referring to your Constitution and political subdivisions does not override WA law.
Compliance is required of all levels of government within WA member nation.

If this continues to be a problem, instead of voting in futility, they should vote to leave.

I believe that you are referring to a clause in GAR #2:
Article 9 § Every WA Member State has the duty to carry out in good faith its obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law, including this World Assembly, and it may not invoke provisions in its constitution or its laws as an excuse for failure to perform this duty.

Stellonia is no longer a member of the World Assembly (I believe that you are glad to hear this). As a result of your insistence upon forcing your pro-choice policies upon a pro-life nation, Stellonia decided that it would be best to resign from the World Assembly. As a result of your stubbornness and obstinacy, it is quite possible that in the near future, there will be an administration in Stellonia that will not recognize the rights to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom of movement, the right to a fair trial, the right to bear arms, the right to a fair trial, and a host of other freedoms and rights. By forcing your narrow views upon Stellonia, you have endangered the freedoms of 5.5 million people.

P.S. I will still serve in my position, as many of Stellonia's allies may still be harmed by the acts of this Assembly

So you've confirmed you're insane, if you're going to hold your nation hostage and deprive your citizens of basic rights. Seems like Stellonia simply doesn't belong, being so near the brink of madness.

And just a note, considering WA law didn't seem to phase your own obstinacy and stubbornness when it came to a woman's right to choose, threatening to violate other WA laws lacks impact.
I look forward to welcoming the refugees of Stellonia to Defwa.

I apologize if what I said was misunderstood. I meant to state that the political situation in Stellonia is unstable, and due to a clause in the Stelloni constitution that allows laws to abridge certain constitutional rights in order to protect the common good, some party could rise to power during the Stelloni elections and abridge constitutional rights in the ostensible name of the common good. As Stellonia is no longer a member of the World Assembly, there is no governing body that can prevent the abridgment of human rights in Stellonia.
For your information, some Bigtopian and Maxtopian rebel militias are starting to gain control of more municipalities, and no governing body but the Stelloni government, which is having some trouble fighting the militias, may stop them from violating human rights within the territories that they control.
It is not the administration's fault if some of our citizens' freedoms are endangered or may become endangered within the near future. I can assure you that the Council of the Federated States of Stellonia is devoted to defending the civil liberties of all 5.5 million residents of Stellonia.

Parsons looks around. However, hearing the yell of a certain Ambassador saying 'Dammit! Go! Go! Go! Go!', Parsons realises that the supplies are being pilfered at an incredibly fast rate. He turns around the corner beckoning with his hand, and immediately out pop his 27 interns and or staff. Wearing their uniforms, he pulls out his sword and waves it in the air. Colonel Elsey pulls out his trumpet, turns about, and into the vaulted ceiling of the World Assembly's halls beckons a call.

The horses immediately form up, swords are held out and extended, and the horses start to thunder down the hall. Seeing Bell's interns running away with their ill-gotten loot, 9 cavalrymen and Parsons charge into the centre of the fleeing formation while the other 18, secure the office and its valuable metal trinkets.1 When Elsey enters, he sees a former-Ambassador Jameson cowering under the desk, apparently having given up his office somehow still inhabiting it anyway. Elsey and his host dismount, take the ebony-wood desk and barricade the room. After starting the preparations, they don out their kevlar helmets and pull out their revolvers to defend the office while the metal trinkets are loaded onto the horses.

The C.D.S.P. ambassador and his interns emerge from the crowd, arms full of what they could carry off.

"Alright, guys, take this stuff to the office. K take the liquor, and- dammit Steve, I told you to leave the plant behind!"

Walking past the Caracasus ambassador, Bell calls out, "Don't bother, Parsons has that place locked down. It looks like he gets the rest. Fortunately, I got these first!" He shifts his arms, showing a respectable collection of stolen booze. "AND THATS ALL THAT MATTERS, PONY-RIDER!"

Parsons and his other nine Foreign Service interns stop charging when they reach the busy crowd in the World Assembly's centre corridor. Sheathing their swords, they simply ride through gently. However, sighting a man at the other end of the hall yelling at him and waving bottles around, Parsons decides to take drastic action. Pulling out his Resolver (its a punny Imperial brand of revolver), he aims a shot at the bottle and pulls the trigger, releasing a spring inside the revolver which then collapses the firing pin onto the centre-fire cartridge behind the barrel. The firing pin hits the cap at the back of the bullet, igniting the small charge of smokeless powder in the cartridge, building a massive burst of pressure, and accelerating a small slug of metal to nearly 600 feet per second. Catching the rifling on the edges of the revolver, the bullet exits the barrel spinning at an extreme angular momentum and flying at high speed. Due to the weight of the round, it is practically unaffected by the cross-ventilation of the air conditioning in the building. The shot transverses the 100 metres between Parsons and Bell in about one second and hits the glass of the bottle Bell is holding up. Sending about 300 joules of energy into the bottle, the bullet succeeds in absolutely shattering one of Bell's bottles of liquor, sending it into brandy-covered pieces onto the ground with an accompanying blast of liquid hitting the floor shortly afterwards.

Looking at his perfect shot, Parsons smiles and says 'Ha' under his breath. He then puts his revolver back into his holster and beckons for a gallop back to his newly captured office. Passing the Caracasusian Ambassador, Parsons tosses him an empty printer cartridge. At the other end of the hall, Elsey, having reported that the entire office is now devoid of anything which contains metal, orders a withdraw. Revolvers are placed back into their holsters and the cavalry leave as quickly as they arrived, except now, the former Stellonian embassy is completely empty and devoid of materials, even the heavy ebony desk removed from the room. A few days later, all 27 of the interns are awarded a newly minted Diplomatic Service Medal and given a wooden dress cane, both made from the materials found in the office. Parsons opens a bottle of Transilian champagne, salutes his interns, and returns to the task of representing the Empire.

Caracasusian interns begin pilfering supplies dropped by several ambassadors hurrying to and from the now-desolate office.

Bell stares, shocked, at the destroyed bottle of booze, which was, thankfully, just a nearly empty bottle of vodka.

"Dammit, Parsons, that's alcohol abuse! See if I let you into the bathroom, er, my office, for less than 60 Greenbacks again, you madman! You'll regret that the next time you have a burrito at the Strangers Bar!"

Popping off the cap of another bottle, Bell takes a hearty swig and crawls under the desk he and the Wads often occupied during the bouts of Debate Hall chaos, conveniently a few feet from Antuan's delegation.

"Sell office supplies?" he mutters to the Shabotzam interns, "Must be nice to have your nation's purse at your disposal. This is how I get office supplies."

The ambassadors were surprised to discover that the box containing the printer was, in fact, filled with nothing but old banana peels. They also discovered that the printer paper was already covered with copies of free-verse poems. They had failed to check what they were stealing.

For your information, the people of Stellonia determined their future in the World Assembly by popular vote after weeks of publicized debate. 67% of all votes were in favor of leaving the World Assembly.
From the desk of the Honorable James Jameson, Ambassador to the World Assembly.
P.S. Why would you want to steal a cardboard box filled with rotten banana peels? Couldn't you tell that the box did not contain a printer?
