Repeal "Freedom of Assembly"
Category-Repeal Resolution- #27 Proposed by- New Berlin-Germany
Nations of the World Assembly,
Applauds the effort and ideas of Cookesland.
However, realizing that this resolution does not protect free speech whatsoever.
Concerned, that there is no definition of "riots" and "violence". Therefore it is just a broad term that every nation could have their own definition of.
1a). Every nation could change their definition of "riots" to fit their personal needs. Governments could change the definition of "riots" to mean "a small protest".
1b). Because there are no definitions of "riots" and "violence" every nation could infringe on rights the same way.
1c). Section 1 of Freedom of Assembly - "All individuals shall have the right to peacefully assemble, associate, and protest to promote, pursue, and express any goal, cause, or view." Again, there is no definition of "peacefully assemble, associate and protest to promote, pursue, and express any goal, cause, or view." Because of this governments could make new definitions these terms in order to make every protest illegal.
Hereby repeals General Assembly Resolution #27 "Freedom of Assembly".
