Country of Residence: U.K. now, but have also lived in France and Australia during my NS career

Education: BSc (Hons) Metallurgy

Area of Profession: Primary metal production

Years active in GA: About 4 or 5 years lurking, very rarely posting and then mostly in the SC

In order to avoid mod wrath, no names, but a couple of you make so much more sense now that it's clear your political position was crafted by your parents.

I know it's taken me a long time to come to my own position in the Political field. Both my parents, though, were swing voters. They voted either Democrat or Republican depending on the persons view.

They should have some awareness that their stances may be malformed from being a copy of a copy- otherwise they risk never having the self awareness to fix it. People can go long into their adulthood unaware of the fact their opinions have been molded as such and as a result we end up debating really stupid things for decades.

Clearly, I'll need to run another survey for 40+ to get an accurate range. I didn't really expect as many old timers as we had. :blink:

The poll ends tomorrow, so I may include a few follow up questions to those who participated, but the sample pool won't change. Then I get to make the Charts!

I'll likely run this again in September and get some change over time data, too. General does something similar.

I guess I'll look the other way for posts made a matter of minutes late...but the survey ends now! I'll get to the old Excel and whip up some graphs and we can ooh and ahh at the 2015 Spring demographics.
