My first proposal:

To the people of the WA,

SEEKING: to provide reasonable self-defense to people over the age of 18, in accordance with WA resolution #235.

DISAPPOINTED: by the number of citizens with valuables and nothing to defend themselves with.

UNDERSTANDING: that citizens are getting killed with nothing to defend themselves with.

AND REALIZING: that weapons a re necessary for people to defend themselves with.

THUS MANDATING: that all WA Nations allow their citizens(over the age of 18) to purchase reasonable weapons for self defense, if they have the proper background and training.

i. Reasonable: Defined as at least a .12 handgun.

.12 calibre is reasonable? BB's are .177 calibre, for cryin' out loud. I find it rather amusing that you believe adequate self defense is something less effective than a BB gun.

The most crime ridden part of Defwa is the Fitwin capitol.
The main differences of Fitwi from the rest of the country and the other capitols is it's agricultural industry, religious leanings, and lax gun control.

And you want the rest of our country to be like Fitwi?

OOC: Everyone wants to do a gun control resolution their first time- because they don't realize the reason there's not any gun control on the books. Before writing anything you need to spend a couple of weeks participating in other debates. Its the best way to learn what the WA is about and how to write for it.
