I'd suggest reading some past resolutions in the 'Passed World Assembly Resolutions' thread at the top of this forum, because this isn't exactly how a repeal or any GA resolution is formatted.

Please repeal the the resolution #179 Clean Prostitute Act.

Illegal for no operative clause. Get rid of the "Please" and change "repeal the the resolution" to "Hereby repeals". Which will turn into something legal:

Hereby repeals #179 Clean Prostitute Act.

I would oppose WA Meddling with this thorny issue and wish to see Clean Prostitute Act stand.
"The less one knows about the Civil War the more likely one is to think the North fought to free the slaves."
"As hours worked by an individual approaches zero, the probability of engagement in political activism approaches one."
"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of the mention of inter-sectional group identities approaches one."

The Clean Prostitute act does not account for the other problems that come with Legal Prostitution, I would only like to see the Clean Prostitute Act Repealed to make way for a more, defining resolution that protects Prostitutes.

But this Resolution must be repealed in my opinion.

You cannot legislate in a repeal. That is to say you can't make anybody do anything in the repeal.
And you complaints aren't really backed up. A well regulated sex market reduces the need for sexual trafficking. Issues with gangs are not something CPA could deal with because its a totally different subject but there's nothing stopping you from drafting a resolution that protects against that.

What?

Kitsco wrote:Realizing, that legalization of or legalization left to a members nation in irresponsible due to the probability of an increase in sex trafficking where prostitution is a legal means of employment.

Sex trafficking is a problem largely caused by the fact that prostitution is ILLEGAL in many places. Laws against it keep clean, safe, well-regulated prostitution businesses from operating. Also, fix your grammar.

Kitsco wrote:Require Member States to take broader action against Prostitution.

Repeal resolutions cannot do anything except repeal. They can't require WA members to do anything. The entire resolution is illegal under WA law for this reason.

This resolution is a complete mess. The grammar makes it borderline incoherent and it fundamentally misunderstands the causes of sex trafficking.

Against. Also, this has no hope of passing or even reaching quorum, at least in its current form.

I'd advise you to read some previous repeals to get a sense of how they attack a resolution and develop an argument against it. Also, as others have stated, your proposal is illegal for attempting to legislate in a repeal. Repeal legislations can only accomplish one task. The rest must come from the replacement legislation.

"Do keep in mind that there is a large contingent here that will agree with you, since they wish to see a WA legalization on prostitution. This may well backfire in your face. That said, as it is written, there is nothing stopping you from outlawing it within your borders. We see the actions of two consenting adults behind closed doors unworthy of such a ban"
