The World Assembly,
BELIEVING that the legislation targeted by this repeal is well-meaning and is, if it is constructed as perfectly as possible, a necessary measure to implement within WA-member nations,
NOTING that, while the resolution mandates that distributors acquire the average length of time that their perishable goods will last before spoiling and must pass this information on to the consumer for the consumer's own safety, it does not require the distributor to make available dates of manufacture for their goods or specific dates on which the goods will have spoiled,
FURTHER NOTING that this loophole renders this legislation nearly obsolete and could be abused by producers or distributors wishing to cause confusion among the consumer as to when their products will spoil,
HEREBY REPEALS "On Expiration Dates" so that this serious flaw in its design may be fixed and so that a more perfect version of the resolution may be submitted and hopefully passed afterwards.
