Although it is a bit early to post a firm schedule, it is not too early to introduce (or re-introduce) your players to the world. Post your rosters here!

About the Tidal Surge
The Tidal Surge formation is a hybrid style that makes use of athleticism in key “flex” positions that allow the formation to ebb and flow between styles to take advantage of personnel match-ups and break opportunities. At any point in the match the Tidal Surge can more remind viewers and opponents of a 5-3-3 (most often) or a 3 4-3 (least often) but can usually be found flexing in between those extremes.
Three key positions make this formation work. The offensive midfielder with which everyone is familiar and the two hybrid positions called “UP” backs. These two positions are a direct cross between center midfielders and outside backs. These two positions use athletic ability to move up and down the pitch changing the formation to fit the needs of current needs. Thus at any one moment the formation can resemble anything from a 3-4-3 to a 3-5-2 to a 5-3-2 creating, quite nearly, the perfect positions for almost any situations.

Coaching Staff
The Sea Dragons are blessed with a relatively young staff with several members only shortly past their playing days. They bring a fire to their preparation and leadership that keeps the players hungry to overachieve and ready to perform under any kind of pressure. After a great performance in World Cup 53, which was capped by an unexpected run into the quarterfinals, the staff has solidified their own positions and are geared up for another run at glory.

Manager Ibrihim Kali’Kalii m 38 6’3 225
Ibrihim brings a hard-nosed style that demands responsibility and respect for both himself and the entire organization. The Sea Dragons played very well under his direction in qualification for World Cup 53, but failed to qualify for the cup proper after finishing third in their group. Only a major shakeup as two nations withdrew from the competition allowed the Sea Dragons to gain entry to the most elite tournament in all of NS sports.
Getting there was not enough, and Kali’Kalii had his side ready to smash the mold and they did just that as they moved all the way to the round of eight before falling to eventual runners-up Albundania.
Now Kali’Kalii has returned with even more fire to prove the run by the Sea Dragons was more than just luck. He is now out to prove that the Sea Dragons deserve to be mentioned alongside the truly elite of the World Cup sides.

Offensive Asst Calif Atain’I M 40 6’2 195
The man that made the system work on the pitch, Calif has now proven he can make it work as well from the sidelines. The Sea Dragons excelled at controlling the offensive end of the pitch, something that the more defensive minded squad had never done before. Now it falls to Calif to ensure that the trend continues.

Midfield Asst Lorea Kai F 39 5’10 165
The midfield managed to hold up well despite relying on some key injury prone players who performed far above expectations. Now with a new crop of midfielders to integrate into the Tidal Surge, she will be tested again to prove her worth.

Defensive Asst[ Mace Kinoz’gh M 42 6’2 225
A defensive nightmare for opposing forwards, Mace was feared and respected on the pitch. His kamikaze personality mirrors the one of his manager and the two have worked well together. Mace preaches a hit first, apologize never style that will keep opposing offenses wondering how much punishment they can handle.

Goalkeeper Asst Jubaxilo Valdori M 34 6’5 200
Jubaxilo has the ability to pick out the tendencies of opposing attackers and passing that knowledge on to his players. With Emyle aging ad a young unproven Omigaeyun Ki’seru pressing hard for playing time, it will be key to the Sea Dragons success how well he manages a very tough situation for all three of them.

RS 19 Jonasei Ariq’Alara M 17 6’3 197
To assume anyone could replace Jahirii Tai’Seri, the leading goal-scorer in Sea Dragon history, would be preposterous. But those are the shoes that Jonasei has been handed. The talented young scorer should perform well as he brings a solid aerial style to squad’s front, but there are sure to be some real bumps along the way.

LS 17 Ciara Ju’Rizii F 18 5’7 150
With Rainu hanging her cleats up for a second time, The Sea Dragons decided to make this a full out youth movement and Ciara was chosen to accompany Jonasei into the starting eleven. Ciara earned the spot with her solid ball control technique and quality decision making abilities. As with Jonasei, we expect there to be some bumps along the way.

OM 10 Kielquew Kijarii M 25 6’4 210
Sheer speed earned Kijarii a starting spot in WC53. Excellent play and dominating performances has allowed him to return as a starter this time around. But in this edition, he faces a much tougher test as Jahirii and Rainu will not be forward to cover up any mistakes that had been made. His skill will be tested as two much younger players await the crosses and set-ups. It is time for Kijarii to prove he is as great as he thinks he is.

RM 11 Niripsa Arunasii F 16 5’9 142
Injury free. That is one thing the coaching staff was looking for after Itrkril retired following yet another ACL tear. Open competition was fierce and demanding as more than one hundred players fought for essentially one place in the starting eleven and possibly one on the bench. Niripsa battled her way to the top with a dogged determination unmatched by any of the more experienced players. Now the young girl has a ton to prove as the Sea Dragons look to emulate last cup’s success.

LM 29 Aityrano Morigra M 28 6’3 200
Once a talented young forward, back injuries forced a move to the midfield hwere Morigra has settled in quite nicely. Solid footwork define his style as he uses innovative techniques to wrest the ball from his opponents. Creativity more than makes up for any loss of speed due to his injuries.

RUB 13 Kymykera Wu’eres F 31 5’6 145 Kymykera proved herself to be the most dominating force for ASMV on the pitch since Evan Evans in WC53 and finally gave full merit to the Tidal Surge formation and its innovative Up Back positions in the process. Kymy love the versatility of her place and continues to look for ways to improve her game and make those around her better. She can be expected once more to control the pace of many matches and wreak havoc any place on the pitch.

LUB 14 Jarika’u Mik’kiz M 23 6’3 190
A solid starter in his own right, Jarik’au is often overlooked as opposing sides prepare for how to deal with Kymy. Huge Mistake. Jari has grown into a dependable Up back who can hold his own even if it is without the pure talent of his counterpart.

RB 44 Salis’hava N’soritii F 18 5’10 161
With huge holes created by the departure of all three starting backs, Sali found her way unexpectedly into the lineup with a knack for positioning herself in the right place at the right time. Rarely caught off guard, she looks to be an upgrade from Kimo, at least in the mobility department.

CB 18 Laia Un’jeru’betcii F 17 5’9 137
Adrenaline junkie who plays the game with a kamikaze fearlessness. Makes up for lack of experience with effort and style. The Sea Dragons are historically known for hard hitting defenders and Laia follows that trend to a T.

LB 54 Pijaru Tami’Kurei M 19 6’5 225
Another positioning guru at defender, the Sea Dragons are taking a risk in moving away from the more power-oriented backs. Niccen and Niripsa fought hard for the starting position and Niccen just was edged out. Splendid with his ball play, Niccen will get time should Niripsa falter or if the injury bug should bite Aitryano again.

Zua is a bit of a question mark for what is considered to be a solid, even if young, roster. Hard-hitting and lightening fast, she has every tool needed to succeed at this level. But at times it seems as if her brain takes a vacation making her prone to silly, yet costly, mistakes. Kuri’Kurii is convinced he can help find her full potential, but that remains to be seen.

K 84 Omigaeyun Ki’seru m 22 6’5 122
Young and talented keeper who is truly gifted in his instincts in the net. Will push hard for playing time, and should get the nod in at least the matches against weaker competition. If he can prove his worth in those situations, he could push for even more if Emyle begins to wear down.

4-3-3 Formation

GK Peter Tedofsky, 38 years old, #1. Captain of the squad. He is an excellent goalkeeper, by far the strength of this squad. Has played for many years, and obviously is his first time playing internationally. Punts with his left foot.

RB Edward Steels, 32 years old, #2. He plays on the right wing, and is a good attacking right back. Earned his starting spot recently, and is a star in the Leiceister championship Division(top league in Leiceister)

CB Freddy Villians, 31 years old, #10. Tall centre back, about 6’4 215 lbs. Great at muscling his way through crowds, and often heads the ball away on crosses. Very dangerous, but also very reckless. Often fouls players, and has a very physical style of play. Led the championship division in the past season with 7 red cards, and 15 yellows.

CB Yamani Rosewater, 28 years old, #9. Very big centre back like Villians, about 6’3 207 lbs. The “Twin Towers”, as they are called are both very physical, though Rosewater is a lot less reckless inside the penalty area.

LB Adam Solisky. 29 years old, #4. He is the best player in the Silverian backfield. May be small at 5’8, 162 lbs, but is very quick. Holds it together, not very aggressive, but often steals the ball at the last moment. Rarely gets carded. Left-footed.

CM Troy Williams. 23 years old, #21. Controls the middle in this young midfield. Very defensive minded, does not stray very far forward, which allows Villians to stray forward more. Even though he does not stray forward, he takes all the free kicks for this squad, when they are in scoring range. Has a wicked curve on the ball.

LM Justin Millosti. 24 years old, #11. One of four left-footed players in the starting lineup. Very quick on the outside, and gets good crosses in. Though when he doesn’t have the ball, he is a large liability on defense. Terrible defender, often jumps early and gets beat. Only reason he is a starter is because he can create scoring opportunities. Low stamina, often subbed out when Silver Beach is defending a late lead, in favor of Henry Longo.

RM Kiefer DeLobbo. 21 years old, #7. Right footed, youngest player in the starting lineup. Not the fastest or the strongest on the wings, but is a good creator, creating opportunities for others. He almost never shoots, but is far and away the best dribbler on this team. Look for him to stack it up through assists. Needs to learn to shoot the ball though, dribbles for too long.

RS Patrick Taylor. 25 years old, #5. Right footed, probably the worst player in the starting lineup. Not that good at anything really, except he is a good defender for a striker. Often switches with Millosti on some runs, very aggressive on offense, but also inaccurate.

ST Issac Kipper, 26 years old, #6. Right footed. He is the center striker for this squad, measuring in at 6’0, 202 lbs. Big and strong, but very passive. Does not go for headers usually, but is good at scoring from distance, often shoots from around the 18.

LS Reis Wagner. 28 years old, #13. Left footed, very tall but weak. 6’1, but he is only 165 lbs. Usually rises over people in the box, but is always outmuscled if he is going up against some strong defenders. Look for him to score goals from crosses from DeLobbo Or Millosti if he is not contesting this header with a larger defender. If he is though, there is no way he could possibly win.

Manager- Daestegwen Dlartanina, both the first female manager and the first officially recognized “elvish folk” in Tarrentum, Daestegwen was hired from the White Hall Fairies football club in Dorian and Sonya, her home nation. Dlartanina impressed everyone last year as her flowing, Sylvanae style of play propelled the Falcons into the Round of 32 in World Cup 53.

Assistant Manager – Alexander Italiana, the magnificent brother of Tarrentum’s Eternal Supreme President Borgia Italiana, has been a meddling manager of FC Yuppers, in the TPFL, for seven years. While he is the uncle to Supreme President Cesare Italiana, Alexander's expert handling of the Gregori Burindi debacle during the 1st Queen's Cup was hailed in the Tarrentian press as only something that an expert businessman could have accomplished. The Yupping Yuppers are also owned by Alexander’s food company, Yuppers…“For Supper!” (as the slogan goes).

Head Coach – Delphine Gabriella Italiana (aka Gabriella Delphine Italiana), sister to Supreme President Cesare Italiana. Delphine is the only female coach in the TPFL. Her credentials are beyond reproach as she has lead the Krozuy Academics to three out of the last six Premier Cup Championship Matches (winning one) and has coached the National Squad for the past four World Cups. She has taken to her new Sylvanae Manager well as the two are able to talk things out, something unheard of with the Falcons previous manager.

By that time Qund had already shown his great worth to the Academics by leading them in goals for the past three years. Qund has tremendous speed and chip shot accuracy. Sandroni Sadroni; Apolln, FC Yuppers (LW^^, ST, RW) CAPTAIN – Sadroni has been a tour de force in the TPFL since his emergence onto the national scene 13 years ago. Not a great finesse player but his ability to eye the opposing defensive set piece and find the open assist has led to his two MVP awards during the middle of his career. He’s lost a step since his debut over a decade ago but his grueling, physical play is something to watch. Age: 36, Goals: 5, Assists: 7

Garto Nicolli; Trumboi, Galitz FCA (RW, LW^^) – Nicolli has seen extensive time on the national level and has garnered a lot of experience playing in international friendlies. Nicolli’s contributions to Galitz have been minimized but have been impressive. In the 20 games he has appeared in during Tarrentian League – A matches, Galitz has recorded at least a goal or an assist in each one. He is a specialist with the corner kick. Age: 33, Goals: 12, Assists: 9

Darius Cassiro; Mobolin, Napoliroma Legion (LW^^, ST) – Cassiro had a tremendous year in the TPFL during the 2015 season as his goal scoring ability helped the Legion claim the Premier Cup once again. Age: 27, Goals: 32, Assists: 5

Stefano Nastromani; Pullo, A.F.F.-CCFM (LM^^, ST, LW) – Nastromani is widely seen and respected as one of the best young footballers throughout all of Tarrentum. His intelligence, quick feet and shot selection have made him a very dangerous weapon. He was the youngest ever player on a TPFL club when he signed at the age of 18 after his collegiate career. His outstanding play in World Cup 53 earned him international plaudits and A.F.F. of the Cafundelese League ultimately picked him up on the Transfer Market. While A.F.F. did poorly in the UICA preseason competition, the club won Liga Pioneira with a 10-3-5 record but showed poorly in the State Champions and Emperor's Cup. Vaccio Dax; Yui, Mountain FCA (CM^^, CMD, LM) – Dax was the one bright spot on an otherwise lousy Mountain FCA team. The club was relegated to the Tarrentian sub-division but Dax showed a lot of talent on the pitch during games. While he didn’t rank in the top 6 for goals, his ability to find the net helped Mountain stay out of the loss column for all 13 of its wins and draws (4, 9). Age: 28, Goals: 14, Assists: 3

Claudius Bacanelli; Krozuy, FC Yuppers (RCB^^, LCB, RB) – Bacanelli has provided the Yupping Yuppers a key defensive footballer who has helped the club move up in TPFL tables. He is noted as one of the quickest defenders in the TPFL. Age: 30

Justinian Tremani; Gallen, Krozuy Academics (LCB^^, LB) – Tremani has been voted the top Defensive Player in the TPFL four out of the past six years. Tremani has learned to compensate for his lack of speed with his excellent down-pitch vision. Daestegwen Dlartanina has made it known that if Tremani doesn’t “shape up” and learn to adapt to the new flowing style of play, that he is off the team. Age: 35

Olli Vaspa; Vardin Mountain, Atlético Central-CCFM (LB^^, RB) – Vaspa helped anchor the Falcons surprising defense last year and earned himself a “look-see” by Atlético Central of the Cafundelese League after World Cup 53. His move to one of the top Cafundelese clubs was a major affirmation of the TPFL’s growing crop of footballers. Vaspa’s play in the backfield and coming in as a substitute helped Atlético Central win a bid to last year’s Globe Cup through the Jowenguard Crown tournament in Cafundeu. In the Emperor's Cup Atlético Central advanced to the Quarterfinals but was unable to overcome Super Cup winner Cafundo do Juta. Most are looking at Vaspa to provide a more increased role with Atlético Central next year. Vaspa is seen as one of the fastest rising stars in Tarrentian football. Age: 28

Nico Lardorama; Trulin, Walli Walli FC (RCB^^, LCB) – Lardorama is known throughout the TPFL for his intense and aggressive play. He has drawn a fair amount of yellow cards over his many seasons of play. Age: 33, Red Cards: 3

Gregor Fluti; Vardin Mountain, Krozuy Academics (LB^^, RB) – Fluti has seen his stock rise along with Tremani on the Academics. Their play together is widely seen as a main reason for the Academics success in the TPFL. Age: 31

Walri Castanella; Yui, Galitz FC (RB^^, LB, CM) – Castanella has proven a boon to Galitz since his rookie season. His defensive awareness is in a league of its own and his ability to cut off the attack has been seen as the reason for Galitz’ recent success. Age: 25

Cristiano Happalla; South Burni, Agrobaign (LCB^^, RCB, LW) – Happalla has been the cornerstone for the young Agrobaign club’s rise from Tarrentian League – A to the TPFL. While Agrobaign is known for their attacking style of play, Happalla kept his club in many matches that they normally would have lost in the premier league. Brice Ferro; Lower Marentian, Walli Walli FC – Ferro’s inclusion on the National Squad was met with some surprise but it was Manager Dlartanina’s lone “Manager’s Pick.” While Ferro was better than average in the Di Bradini Cup, his jump from college to the TPFL was a bold move by Walli Walli. It was the right move as Ferro came in halfway through the season and helped the club to 3rd place in the North Division and a trip to the next Globe Cup. Age: 19

CVC Mouflons Announce Roster for World Cup 54

Though the team is on its way to Nethertopia to participate in the Baptism of Fire 41, the Civil Citizenry Mouflons will soon be attempting to qualify for the 54th edition of the World Cup - the biggest soccer event in the world. Following many other countries, the Mouflons roster has been announced, though the World Cup will not begin for a while.
