Welcome to the Tamboiain International Golf League (TIGL)! We now host golf tournaments for any and all nations willing to join! We will host 3-4 major tournaments each year and to kick it off we'll be starting a Golf Tournament in the next few weeks!
Signing Up-
So, how do I sign up?
It's quite easy. Please leave the name of your nation, your players and their sex,the players age, nation's specialty (see rules), and a picture/list of the golf clubs they will be using (optional). The max players you can have for your country is 3 players. You will be added to a list that I will be writing for the next 3 weeks until our first tournament begins.
Rules/Scoring
How will the event be scored?
For each hole I'm using a random number generator (http://www.random.org/) that will generate a number between 1 and 7 for par 3 holes, 2 and 8 for par 4 holes, and 3 and 9 for par 5 holes. I will generate a number for each player and that number will be their number of swings. This number will translate as an eagle, birdie, par, etc. and go onto the score chart.
Are there any ways to boost your score? (SPECIALTIES)
Well, yes and no. For your nation you can pick one specialty that will apply to each player. You can have a specialty on par 3 holes, par 4 holes, or par 5 holes. If you choose a specialty for par 5 holes I will generate two random numbers and pick the lower number. You can only choose one specialty for your nation so choose wisely!
Are there any rules to follow?
Only two: have fun and be nice. I don't want to get in everybody's way and make this boring so these are my only rules, however if you're doing something that the forum members or I don't exactly approve of I will speak up.
What does the chart look like?
I won't have a complete picture until I have everyone how would like to participate on a list but I'll post a picture once I can complete it.
