Friendlies thread
And here we have the friendlies thread of the 52nd World Cup, to be held in Cafundéu and Nethertopia. Now to something important: please read this opening post before anything. After all, you all want to have your friendlies scorinated...
For a start, I liked the old system used for arranging friendlies, when the nations contacted each other through the WCDT or TG to arrange friendlies and then contacted the hosts to ask scorination, and it worked really well. At the same time, the idea of creating threads for the organization of the friendlies in a World Cup cycle seemed to be a good evolution step, as it really relieves the WCDT of the tons of posts that appear about the theme during this period. Therefore, in this World Cup we'll have a return to the previous way of asking for host scorination of a friendly, but at the same time you'll have this thread to contact each other about your open spots for friendlies and arrange the games.
Here is how friendlies will work: all nations participating in WC52 have, each of them, a possibility to have up to three friendlies scorinated by the hosts in each of the dates reserved for these friendly matches. The dates reserved are three: one a day before MD1 of the qualifiers (pre-qualifiers); one a day after the first half of the qualifiers, therefore after MD11 (mid-qualifiers); and the last one after the last matchday of the qualifiers, MD22 (post-qualifiers).
So, in the end you can have 9 friendly matches scorinated by the hosts, if you have 3 games in all the reserved days. To arrange friendlies, it's simple: you may contact a specific nation over this possibility, or simply state here that you are open for friendlies and see if someone else is interested in playing against you. In the end, you may both agree on a date between the three available and a venue and then ask for host scorination. To ask for host scorination, simply send a TG to Isla Pilsen (puppet of Cafundéu - though requests sent to Cafundéu or Nethertopia are fine too, preference is for Isla Pilsen just because of the TG inbox limit) telling the match or list of matches, with participating teams, venues and stating when the friendly must be scorinated (in the pre-qualifiers, mid-qualifiers or post-qualifiers spot). Only scorination requests sent by TG will be registered, so asking for scorination here won't work.
This thread may be used to arrange, and post scores of, friendlies not scorinated by the hosts. If you want your friendlies to not be scorinated by the hosts, or you want to have more friendlies than the limit set, you can try to arrange friendlies and ask for someone else to scorinate here. Well, simply discuss whatever you want about friendlies here.
