Important Dates (As of 9/17/16)

9/17/16- First NSAO Committee Election (Nominations) commence

9/24/16- First NSAO Committee Election (Nominations) close; First NSAO Committee Election (Voting) commences

10/Sometime/16- Post-NSAO1 ranks should be updated/posted

9/30/16- First NSAO Committee Elected

10/1/16- First NSAO Committee Conference @ T.V. City, Qasden

10/22/16- NSAO2 Signups commence

First NSAO Committee Election

Becoming apart of the first committee for the NationStates Archery Open requires loyalty and determination. The committee's tasks include the following-

1. To Discuss the needs of NSAO with other committee members
2. To assist in creating or updating the NSAO ranks
3. To help run the NS Archery base/nation
4. To establish some sort of NSAO base in an important city of theirs for NSAO conferences
5. To start a topic/thread for a certain event apart of/ related to NSAO, with the ok from every committee member
6. To be somewhat active (no CTEing)

To be eligible, a nation must be nominated (whether by themselves or by another) and seconded by another nation. To nominate yourself, or someone you believe would be fitting to the role, then fill out the form below and either post it on the thread or tg it to me. Lastly, the nominated nation must also recognize its bid. That is all for now.

What RP/Scorinating experience does the nominee currently posses?:Well i had scorinated a soccer tournament,which has ended.But not Archery,Yet.

Why Should this Nation be considered to be apart of the NSAOC?: Kep is a storied nation within the multiverse, recently, breaking onto the scene with the MLB V. Kep as SRF has won the AFLC Cup I and also came third place in the Intl. Cup of 7Ball II. As of now, Kep is also planning another host bid in an upcoming sport and is working on reviving Water Polo within the NS Community.

Do you know this nation personally? (RL): I think I know myself, lmao.

Do you think the nominated user may have any problems/flaws?: Timezone issues, although, there shouldn't be many as Nation States is mostly an American-based community?

Has the nominated nation participated in a previous edition of NSAO?: No, I nearly hosted one, but, was forced to withdraw at the last second.

What RP/Scorinating experience does the nominee currently posses?: I have hosted MLB V

I had a blast at the last NSAO, as it was my first sports RP experience and I hope to stick around for any future events in an attempt to make this a fun environment for any other new players. Couple of thoughts...

1. There should be a trophy or certain award tailor-made for the winners of the events. With pic/img included.

2. Can't wait for ranking to be posted so I can include that in my factbook.

3. Overall was great fun. Ill help anyway I can

Do you think the nominated user may have any problems/flaws?: I'm overworked and in the future may have times when I am inaccessible for several months at a time

Has the nominated nation participated in a previous edition of NSAO?: Yes

What RP/Scorinating experience does the nominee currently posses?: Scorinated two jousting tournaments (one on a regional forum, one on NSS) using a custom scorinator

Unfortunately, the posting of the rankings will not likely occur this weekend, due to a crazy RL schedule. However, I've moved the cutoff for the Committee elections to 9/30/16 with the conference being either 10/1/16 or sometime after the World Cup. Remember, anyone can vote via tg to Avorosian Warbase, but please keep it at 1 vote per category per user.

Yay! Also just to inform you I have been discussing a format for how the Nation States Gold Division{soccer} should operate, with it's president Great Palkia. I am a fan of this tournament and have stated that the NSGD should also open a committee thread and have people elect themselves for various positions in the league.

I spent some time today adding national trigrams to the rankings charts. If you don't have one assigned, it's because I wasn't able to find one for you. If you have one, please inform me by TGing this account and I will make sure to get the chart updated. I also highly recommend getting your trigram registered in the NS Sports Trigramme List, which is a helpful tool for just such purposes.

Anyways, due to many nations being distracted with other events (*cough*world cup*cough*), the original sign-up date for the NSAO2 tour has been postponed for another week or so. The NSAO Committee has voted to adopt the second proposal for the ranking system. This system (with some possible adjustments) will be used for the purpose of NSAO events.
