We are now half way through the 38th season of the National Lacrosse League, and by far the most disappointed fan base is that of the Legalese City Crusaders who have started at a franchise worst 1-17, many fans point to the early season injury of DuJuan Harris who is the teams best defender, but head coach Mark Summers says that it is been because of the teams curse with illness, injuries and suspensions that they have been going through all season. Goalie Carl Witson, was suspended for six games for off their field reasons, citing a DUI and assault of his wife. Then there is the case of Attacker William Bill who was injured in a freak accident, in which while walking down the street , he triped and fell into a manhole breaking his pelvis and collarbone. Coach Summers admits he doesn't know how much worse it could possibly get, but he has the promise from Owner Dave Wilcox that his position is safe.

Now moving on from the sad story of the Legalese team we go to the even sadder story of the new franchise the Jasper City Energy. Now when the Energy was announced as a new franchise, many in both Jasper City and around the country raised their eyebrows as the city is more known for its love of soccer and beach volleyball than lacrosse. However when asked league president Ryan Neth stated that Japser City was the most ideal location for not one but two franchises, that the sport is gaining in popularity. He said he understand the criticizem that the league has received for overlooking a second St. Johns team or a third in Gemsbrook, but said he didn't want to saturate the markets in those two cities, despite Japser City being only 1.2 million people compared to St. Johns at 4.4 million.

North Semi-finals
Hampton Eagles 2–5 East Willington LC
Port Salem Dolphins 10–11 Xaiver Bears

South SF
Zomni Gladiators 8–17 Gem City LC
Ft. McCarney Bullets 13–9 University Heights Jaguars

East SF
Lacrosse Club FD 14–9 Winston Dukes
Gemsbrook Eagles 9–13 Dalson Wildcats

West SF
Allison Bolts 16–11 River City Bandits
Aluresia Mafia 4–15 St. Johns Menance

In the first round saw the biggest stunner to start off the post season with the number one overall seed the Hampton Eagles fall to East Willington LC in a low scoring game. The Dalson Wildcats win over the Gemsbrook Eagles was also a shocker has many saw the Eagles going to the semi-finals at most.

North Conference Finals
East Willington LC 13–9 Xaiver Bears

South Conference Finals
Ft. McCarney Bullets 14–10 Gem City LC

East Conference Finals
Lacrosse Club FD 9–11 Dalson Wildcats

West Conference Finals
Allison Bolts 24–9 St. Johns Menance

NLL Semi-finals
Ft. McCarney Bullets 16–21 East Willington LC
Allison Bolts 4–12 Dalson Wildcats

The Wildcats win over the Bolts was the biggest upset of the entire post season, after all Allison has won the past three NLL titles and for the most part could have easily won their fourth. The wildcats so far have been playing upset through out the post season.

National Championship

Dalson Wildcats 11–8 East Willington LC

And playing spoiler through out the post season, the Wildcats cap off their improbable run winning their first NLL Championship.
