Jake Bexley (LEN) finished 4th in the semi-final, leaving the places of all other riders unchanged. I then repeated this procedure for the 7th–12th place final; Jake Bexley (LEN) finished 5th in that final, which means Brenton Shiflett (BRI) has moved up to 4th.

Okay, just so I understand that clearly, if Bexley had won his rescorinated semi you would've ignored the result unless Asselineau, Bowen, Karanakov, Allen and Morris finished 2nd to 6th in that order as well? I can't say I'm not disappointed with that given he was an 82 skill, to be honest.

Correct. Likewise, when Bexley DNF’d, I ignored those results unless the other riders finished 1st–5th in the original order. This allowed Bexley a fair chance to be placed in any position without rescorinating the results of the other riders. It’s the same in principle as if I made an error in an athletics heat and rescorinated only the affected athlete’s time, except that it’s more difficult in the keirin because the results aren’t timed.

According to UCI rules, if there is a tie in points at the conclusion of the omnium, then the points race is the final tiebreaker.

The (real-life) tiebreaker is the position in the final sprint in the points race. I'm assuming that itself isn't scorinated within the points race module (i.e., the points race standings only shows total points won during the event rather than actual finishing position in the sprint), so the tiebreaker CH has used is simply points won in the points race.

I suppose that seems fair enough. Thanks.

CH, Amnarei-Asud has last been active on NS 28 days ago and is most likely heading towards CTE'ing in around 6-7 hours from now. What will happen in that instance, with medals won by them?

When it comes to Quarterfinals for Team Events are RP bonus, Roster bonus and skill modifier still taken into account? Or by that stage is it just pure randomness?

Just questioning the Softball results. How I lsot against someone with a skill modifier 40 points behind mine, who had no roster for that team and no rp within the latest timeframe.
Just wanting to check to see that bonuses were included?

Upsets do happen in sport. Did you happen to watch the Euros or the English Premier League this past season, for instance?

Yes I am aware.

But I curse the day I stepped on a black cat on Friday the 13th and fell under a ladder smashing the mirror I was holding at the same time.

Sometimes the scorinator just decides it doesn't like you. I had a long jumper in the high 90s and one at 89 who both got knocked out in the qualifying round and my very highly rated women's hockey team got knocked out in the semis which is pretty much the end if the world as far as we're concerned.
The good news is bad luck is normally matched by good luck, so based on the laws of averages ,you should be due a shock medal at some point.

GG everyone! It was a remarkable run.
'Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.' (II Timothy 4:1-5 NKJV)

Congratulations to Commerce Heights for hosting these Olympics!

It is definitely a tall order to score all of those events in such a short period, so well done, and you deserve a well earned break :D

Thank you to CH for a well-run Games, especially given the circumstances.

My apologies for the distinct lack of RP during these Games; the tailend came perfectly placed for me going back to the UK for A level results and Leeds Festival, and prior to that I was spending a large amount of my time stressing about whether I would be getting in to uni or not, so my mind hasn't been on NS stuff particularly.
