The Indios were absent during WBC 34 and 35 after a horrible start to their campaign at WBC 33, with archives of multiple executions from the government of the host nation of that tournament adding insult to injury. They made a three game rally after still propping up the bottom of the standings at the end of Matchday 7, but it still wasn't enough to for them to advance.
But amongst the dark, there were two people key to the return of the Indios to the multiverse's biggest baseball tournament: Dhaeyvid and Dominick. They held a three-month bootcamp to those who wanted to participate in the WBC, which inspired other people to do so (clubs forming for the new TRBLiga season, and basketball tryouts for the new Angas team (Angas Barangay 3.0)
This will be the first time that the Indios play a series of matches against same opponents. The opponents they have in the group are also capable of winning games themselves:

The Indios open up their campaign against the Ponies, who should give them a tough challenge given they play on the road for the first series. Then they go to Acidica, in which a sweep can be expected. They host Cosumar and then travel to Nassau-Hessen for their toughest assignments - which could also determine their fate in the group. They round up the first half of their campaign against Ethane, ranked 27th in the world. The Indios will then have a break before hosting a back-to-back series against their first two opponents before visiting Atlantian Oceania for another meeting with Cosumar. They close out their campaign hosting Nassau-Hessen and then on the road at Ethane for the final series.
They just hope they can have the Spirit of WBC 29 into them as they start their probably long journey back to greatness.
