International Athletics Grand Prix
How to Sign Up You may use The Kytler Peninsulae's nifty signup sheet (xls) as the entry limits for the athletics are the same. Or you may continue to sign up in the traditional manner - Entry Name;TLA;skill value. Old-style entries will not be accepted, and remove events where you do not have participants.
Please do not copy your signup from KBC/Zube. Your athletics average will be different from your overall average.
For any changes you might wish to make in your delegation, please make them in a new post. I will NOT go back to look at posts once I have entered the results, and any such changes will be passed over.
List of Events

Skill and Entry Limits Skill values are between zero and one hundred. A zero represents the lower end of a qualified athlete (not a total dunce who's never played the sport before), and a 100 represents world class athletes (e.g. Usain Bolt, Roger Federer, etc.).
There will be an entry limit of 100 entries with an average skill limit of 50. There is a limit of one puppet per user, and the combined numbers of your delegation and your puppet's delegation must not exceed 175 entries. Unified delegations are allowed, but they must be declared and are subject to the 175 entry limit. You may enter an unified delegation with a delegation of 100 entries and another delegation of 75 if you so wish.
Delegations which violate the entry rules will be rejected until they meet the rules.
There will be a Min-Max Avoidance Bonus, which takes into account the standard deviation of your entries. You can use Kytler Peninsulae's spreadsheet to calculate this.
Venues Nations may submit venues for consideration, regardless of whether they are involved in the Grand Prix or not. I don't have a target for venues in mind, but any and all submissions are welcome, and after the deadline, I will make a choice about venues which will be used during competition. You don't have to write an essay about your venue; a name, city, and capacity are all that are required, although a picture and short (i.e. one sentence) description would be appreciated.
Other Items Signups will tentatively close on August 22.
RP Bonus will include 20% MMAB and 80% subjective grading of posts. The exact percentage of RP bonus will not be disclosed at this time.
I will give myself a host bonus (likely between 25% - 50% of the max RP bonus) during this event.
Now you may use this thread to point out any errors in scorination or any OOC posts.

Will this be like the RL Diamond League series, with multiple stages held in different countries, or a single championships?
Sign-up in the works, too.

I'm leaning towards the Diamond Series format, but depending on the number of venues I get, it might end up differently.

Venue bid: Louargat - Men & Women's Marathon
One of the villages surrounding Louargat.
Louargat, the capital of Kernansquillec's Menezer region, located in the far west of the country, bordering Civil Citizenry, is hoping to host the men and women's marathons for the International Athletics Grand Prix. The city has a rich sporting history, namely but not only down to it's football team who were crowned league champions just four seasons ago and who have enjoyed some success in international tournaments.
The marathons would begin in the outskirts regions of the city and would run through a number of the picturesque villages that surround the suburbs. As the marathons pass the midway stage they would begin to slowly close in on Louargat itself by venturing into the suburbs of the city. Only in the closing stages of the race would athletes finally enter the city where they would finish in the main square of the city centre. The city plans to turn the whole day into an athletics themed party with a number of athletics related activities being put on offer to spectators. Access for international visitors would not be a problem as have shown international football games that have previously been held in the city.

Venue Bid: Albion, Western Districts
Albion University Athletics Complex
The Wray Athletics Council has put forward the the Albion University Athletics Complex to host a stage of the International Athletics Grand Prix. Whilst there are adequate facilities in both Cartersburg and Nelson's Bay, the WAC has nominated Albion to host the event, as part of it's drive to improve the awareness of Wray, other than the two centres of Cartersburg and Nelson's Bay. Part of this drive includes the granting of Test Hosting status to Albion's University Oval, which brought over 12,000 spectators to a venue which normally holds 3,000 people.
Albion is Wray's third city, with a population of 1,356,482. It is known, primarily, for it's University scene, with two of the country's largest and most prestigious Universities, van Aalen University, and Albion University. Together, they have over 15,000 students. Albion is also the heart of the country's burgeoning financial sector. Albion has a long history of sports, with two professional rugby clubs, a First-Class cricket team, a hockey club and a football club, as well as having the National Performance Centres for Athletics, Boxing and Equestrianism. The two Universities maintain a healthy sporting rivalry, as well as producing several top-class sportsmen through their Student Athletic Development Programme.
The Albion University Athletics Complex (AUAC) was constructed in 2001 to go along with the University's new wing, and replacing the University's outdated facility. Located in the residential district of Walvis, the complex consists of the main stadium, with a 400m top-grade asphalt running track, all the requisite space for field events, and attendance for over 3,500 spectators. Floodlights mean events can take place in the evening, which falls rather quickly in this part of Esportiva, and has full athlete and media accommodation. Marathons and race-walk events would take place on the University's predetermined Marathon track, which starts in the centre of Albion and snakes through the parkland in the west of the city.
(Sorry Kernansquillec, I kinda nicked your format. Hope that's OK.)

Event:
The Varish Athletes' Guild, alongside corporate sponsors Raskstad-Videnhagen Banking Group (RVBG), wishes to bring the International Athletics Grand Prix to Videnhagen in order to allow the world's best runners, jumpers, and throwers to compete in Vermark's premier facility for Athletics. Athletics is a highly competitive and robustly popular sport throughout Vermark; though Vermark has been historically strong in long distance running events, athletes from all disciplines garner a massive amount of support from spectators across the country. In order to bring athletes from around the world to the attention of these dedicated followers of athletics, the VAG wishes to organize a celebration of the sport in the form of an exciting competition between the world's best athletes. To do this, a number of sponsors have aided the Guild in order to propose the following special events that will take place over the duration of the IAGP meet in Videnhagen:
The HMW (Hanseatic Motor Works) Hundred Metre Dash (Men's and Women's 100m)
The RVBG Million Dollar Mile (Men's and Women's 1500m Run)
The Omnium Technology 10k Showdown (Men's and Women's 10000m)
The Mulighed Financial World Marathon (Men's and Women's Marathon)
The Gus Nystroms Challenge (Men's Decathlon and Women's Heptathlon)
With that, venue submissions and signups are closed.

Tell me, do the events all take place on the same day ICly - so do the 20km and 50km race take place in the same day? Because ICly that'd be pretty difficult, physically.
