Welcome to the Twenty-Second edition of the World Lacrosse Championships!

Nation States longest running premier lacrosse world championship is back. Through out its twenty-one edition history thirteen nations have beaten the world to lift the most sought after lacrosse championship trophy and bring pride to their nation and start their own legacy. The two time defending World Lacrosse Champions are Cosmuar, but at the end of this edition it could be you!

Post here to sign up for the tournament and also to bid to become host. Host bids must include form of scorination, format, and RP grading/bonus(if the bidder wishes to disclose) and some hosting experience is not required by highly preferred anything else is not necessary, but highly encouraged.

Well might as well bid, my first since WLC 15.

West Guiana host bid for the 22nd World Lacrosse Championships

FORMAT

We are 21 sign-ups and normally after the first week the thread is open the number of sign-ups does diminish until host voting. So The two targets are 24 and 28 both of which are achievable in any case:

24 teams split into the generic six groups of four, with the top two teams plus four highest 3rd place seeds advancing to the knock-out round.

28 teams again sticking to the generic seven groups of four, with the top two of each group. The next four highest 3rd place seeds will advance to a play-in series with the winners advancing to the round of 16.

Either of these formats will include triple round robin which was quite traditional when i first started in WLC 12.

TIEBREAKERS

points, H2H, H2H points against and H2H point difference.

EXPERIENCE

Despite being part of the NS Sports community for over four and a half years I have not hosted actively nor truly seek to do so often. However though I have co-scorinated two conferences of the NSCF twice, and BOI 13. I have though abandoned a few tournaments simply lack of rping or intrest. My forte though is scorinating my domestic leagues, especially my domestic lacrosse league.

OTHER NOTES

I wont do any IC for now, however though if selected, during group play each game will be played in the home teams own stadium during the last three games of group play.
