The CommonWealth Cup is a domestic football tournament from the Royal CommonWealth. It is one of 3 trophies avaliable to Scottopian Isles football clubs in addition to the Seasonal League Cup. Disregearding what tier the team plays in upon the Scottopian Isles Football Association pyriamid during the regular season, the teams are organised into 8 Groups thru a previously approved selection system.
Last seasons Premiership 1st-8th placed teams are given the seeded postions. 8 teams will be drawn from a pool of the 10 First Division to be placed in groups, followed by a drawing of 8 of the 10 teams from the Second Division. The remaining 8 mixed league teams from all 3 leagues will be randomly chosen and placed in the final positions
Rangers Football Club won the tournament last year in surprise fashion after coming in 2nd place within their group. Managing to knock out Premiership teams Fort Matilda Arsenal along the way to the final with MacKenzie City, where they slipped thru in the final minutes to hoist the trophy for the first time.
