With five games left in the Cenileague season, the UICA coefficients have been released, and Ceni has gained its second Champion's Cup place. With that, the competition for the four UICA spots will be lessened as another team will now go to international competition. Viento Oeste snuffed out the Sporting Cenial offense pretty easily, with their excellent goalkeeper Juan Pablo Morales blocking all shots from Seok Kun-woo and Tyro Solaris, while the offense took advantage of the fact that Sporting Cenial could not seem to get any goals in the net. Myrmidon, meanwhile, reinforced its challenge for the title with a 2-1 win over Longtails; despite an early goal from Eric Garcia, Myrmidon came rocketing back, with goals from the irrepressible elf Galasgoldas Tathtaure and Mara Longstar getting the club through that tough challenge. However, Tir Snake Strike, even with two star players, could not replicate the same feat; they faced an early goal from Gordon Eckernesy and tried to come back the whole match, but they missed quite a few chances, and only Belarmin Worsaw was able to score for the team. Denis Thoda and Cenial Liberty put up a strong challenge to Polaris, and their efforts were rewarded with a one-all draw, Thoda preventing all of Polaris's main strikers except for Kyle Thanewulf to penetrate the net. Argi Sanguesa scored a valuable win this week against Lake Cenial Chimeras, but it will likely not be enough to save them from the relegation spots at the end of the season. Notable in this match was the ability of Jessica Vullen, the goalkeeper, and Sirona and Inara, the two central defenders, to keep Visnja Brankovic from scoring. Asterion, meanwhile, took a page out of Vullen's playbook to hold the normally attacking Whitehaven Triumph scoreless, but the clean sheet came at a cost, as the possession-based gane of the home side meant that the away team could not score any goals, especially as Lucas D'jek saved several balls. 1860 Azoth, meanwhile, was dealt a further blow to its title ambitions as Phalanx AF, a quality side in itself, defeated them two to one, Robbie Faulkner proving essential in helping to mitigate the effect of Mijo Nikazic, although he did manage to score one goal; Larry Watt and Maynard Gorham tried valiantly to stop Scholls from scoring twice, but they were unable to. Despite two del Toro goals, Cenial United had a field day over Pinnacle Project, Asturias with a hat trick, followed by Onasi and Arivelo with one goal apiece.

Viento Oeste had a good match against Pinnacle Project, Juan Pablo Morales saving all of his fellow northerner Adrian del Toro's shots in the convincing, if a bit boring, win. There were quite a few blockbuster matches this week, with two title contenders in Cenial United and Phalanx AF duking it out in Cenial. The winner, ninety minutes and eight goals later, was Cenial United, by a margin of five goals to three. Asturias was in top shape this week, scoring a brace against the storied defense led by Robbie Faulkner, while Arivelo, Cossadel, and Onasi all helped to secure the win, each scoring one goal apiece. Scholls fought valiantly with a hat trick, but it wasn't enough to save her club from the rapacious strikes of Cenial United. 1860 Azoth and Whitehaven Triumph, both fiercely attacking sides with some good defenders, duked out it at the Shadow B'betsy Stadium, with neither team prevailing after ninety minutes. It was a quite exciting match, though, as both sides displayed offensive creativity and defensive agility. Larry Watt was named man of the match for keeping the Triumph youngsters in check, while Miri Windtide also did well. Nikazic and Swan both scored for the home team, while the striking pair of Allegro and Szarvas scored one apiece. Asterion continued their strategy from last week of a stringent defense, and it seemed to work as Valerickssen kept a clean sheet against a dangerous Argi Sanguesa side. Visnja Brankovic and Lake Cenial Chimeras put up a big fight against Polaris, with the aforementioned player scoring a brace, but it wasn't enough to keep a resurgent Polaris at bay, as Kike, Kubunga, Thanewulf, and Maitfield all found their range to grab the win and the three points. In a match of two lower-table teams, Cenial Liberty's Denis Thoda maintained control of the net while his teammaters were able to snuff out the wing-based offense of New Oxford Nucleus. Myrmidon kept its title hopes alive as it is continuing to gain on 1860 Azoth, especially with this crucial win over Tir Snake Strike, with Mara Longstar and Galasgoldas Tathtaure, who scored the winning goal, both putting balls into the net to stymy the home team's chances of getting into the Champion's Cup again; Worsaw, though, was not in a mood to lose and worked hard, scoring one goal, but his efforts weren't enough. Sporting Cenial, meanwhile, had an easy win over Longtails, Souter and Rakotomaharo doing well on the defense while Solaris, Ingram, and Seok all scored up front.

Longtails apparently knew hot to crack the Viento Oeste nut and get the sweet meat of victory, as Eric Garcia twice penetrated the careful guard of top goalkeeper Juan Pablo Morales. Tir Snake Strike, though, faced another obstacle in their pursuit of the title as they drew two all with Sporting Cenial, Solaris and Seok scoring for the home team in this match and Worsaw and Wight both continuing their prolific scoring with goals this week as well. Myrmidon, although faced with a strong challenge from Cenial Liberty in the first half, managed to come back in the heat, with Galasgoldas Tathtaure apparently not suffering from it. The classy and stylish elf, in his fourth season with Myrmidon, scored a brace and is in serious contention for his first Golden Boot award after he was instrumental in sending the side to the Globe Cup octofinals earlier this year. Two lower-table sides had a battle in a bottle with a poodle eating noodles (although that last part is only if you have Dr. Seuss stuck in your head), and neither was able to prevail as two sides that rely heavily on Schottic talent, Lake Cenial Chimeras and New Oxford Nucleus, fought to a three-all draw, Brankovic, Iekal, and Zasuelon all scoring one goal apiece. Polaris grabbed another valuable three points against Asterion, despite a challenge early one; Kike, in a return to the days of old, scored a brace in a magnificent run of form. 1860 Azoth hasn't been playing too well in these past couple of weeks, almost practically handing Myrmidon or Cenial United the title on a silver platter (although it all depends on the result of these last few matches). Their pattern continued as they drew to Argi Sanguesa, the erratic northern side, one all, with only Nikazic managing to score, although Larry Watt did perform well on the defense. Cenial United survived a strong challenge from Whitehaven Triumph, which saw goals from Allegro and Szarvas, the usual goalscorers, as well as Ben Lorennion, while Asturias and Onasi both had braces to send their club ahead by one goal. Finally, Pinnacle Project upset Phalanx AF, their goalkeeper Arrik Seki actually performing well for once as they denied Elyssa Scholls and company from scoring, while the prodigy Adrian del Toro scored the winner.

It's heading toward crunch time in the Cenileague as it looks like the title winner will be decided on the last day of competition yet again after last season's last-day thriller matches. Viento Oeste, per usual, gave Phalanx AF a hard time, like it does with so many other clubs, but eventually, Elyssa Scholls was able to penetrate the deep guard of the away side's goalkeeper Juan Pablo Morales. Whitehaven Triumph defeated Pinnacle Project in a closely-fought match between some of the Cenileague's hottest young stars. Adrian del Toro shone with his brace, while Allegro and Szarvas continued their excellence as a strike team with one goal apiece, aided by a Ben Lorennion winner to secure the three points. Cenial United enjoyed a fairly routine win over Argi Sanguesa, with Nico Asturias and Marc-Andre Onasi both notching further goals onto their tallies for the season. Polaris wanted to extend its comeback run after going two to nil up against 1860 Azoth, with two goals from Tim Maitfield, but 1860 Azoth apparently didn't get the memo about their plans and came roaring right back, scoring three goals in quick succession (from Blaze, Daren, and Swan) to secure the valuable 3 points which puts them closer in the title hunt. New Oxford Nucleus enjoyed a good win over Asterion that might finally put them out of the relegation zone, as Eckernesy and Rose both used their positions on the wings to good effect. Myrmidon had a field day at Lake Cenial Chimeras as the Myrmidon defense snuffed out any opportunities for Visjna Brankovic, while Galasgoldas Tathtaure apparently had a little extra energy, scoring a hat trick, while Mara Longstar had a brace, followed by Saul Vesper and Josva Rasmussen each with one goal apiece. Myrmidon totally crushed the opposition, but it will still come down to the last week of matches to decide the victor of the fifth edition of the Cenileague. Sporting Cenial had to fight hard against Cenial Liberty and their goalkeeper Denis Thoda, who kept blocking all of the away team's shots, but in the end, a strike from Tyro Solaris proved decisive in the match. Tir Snake Strike enjoyed a comfortable win over Longtails this week, with both Belarmin Worsaw and Ruisheart Wight scoring a goal.

Sporting Cenial 4–1 Lake Cenial Chimeras

Polaris 1–0 Cenial United
Argi Sangüesa 4–5 Pinnacle Project
Whitehaven Triumph 2–4 Phalanx AF
Tir Snake Strike wasn't troubled too much by the excellent defense of Viento Oeste as they scored two goals, one each from Ruisheart Wight and Belarmin Worsaw. Worsaw has proven to be an excellent pick for the club over the course of the season, contributing to many goals throughout these past thirty weeks. The team was practically out of contention for a run to fourth - Phalanx AF would be ahead on goal difference - but with the two Champion's Cup spots now, at least this club will go to the Globe Cup, where they reached the group stage. Longtails capped off their tenth-placed season with a three-nil win over Cenial Liberty, which nonetheless did well enough over the course of the season to reach twelvth place and avoid relegation in the league. Sporting Cenial trounced Lake Cenial Chimeras but at least the latter team isn't in the relegation zone; Visnja Brankovic scored perhaps her last goal with the Chimeras as rumor has it she's moving either to New Gelderland or another Cenian club, while Seok Kun-woo and Tyro Solaris both added two goals onto their final tallies. Myrmidon seems safe with their crushing four-nil win over Asterion, with the best Cenian club in terms of UICA rankings doing well with the guidance of the indefatigable elf Galsgoldas Tathtaure, who scored a hat trick against the normally stalwart defense of Asterion; Mara Longstar added on another goal, as she has proved instrumental in several decisive minutes throughout the course of the season. 1860 Azoth was hoping for both Cenial United and Myrmidon to lose by large enough margins to give them a berth in the Champion's Cup, but it wasn't to be as New Oxford Nucleus, in the relegation play-off zone with this loss, had nothing to lose and gave the away side a big scare with their wing-based strategy; Nikazic, one of the best purchases in the history of Cenileague, Daren, and Blaze all scored in eking out the win, which only secured them third place in Cenileague. Myrmidon will be singing "Praise the Lord!" tonight as Polaris sent Cenial United packing. Again, with nothing to lose, they gave their all to defeat one of the best teams in Cenileague so far, which was playing pretty defensively, as a win would have made them the Cenileague champions. However, Jeremiah Onomah and Fiona Banks did well on the defense, stopping Arivelo and Onasi, while Tim Maitfield sent in a strong shot to end the match in favor of the home side. Pinnacle Project and Argi Sanguesa had a topsy-turvy match in Sanguesa, with Sofia Falcon scoring two goals, but in the end, Pinnacle Project eked out the victory by a margin of one goal, Adrian del Toro scoring the final goal; nonetheless, this victory did not lift Pinnacle Project out of the relegation zone, even as New Oxford Nucleus lost earlier. Finally, in a match now only played for pride (as it was pointless for determining placement for either team), Phalanx AF defeated Whitehaven Triumph by a score of four to two, Szarvas and Allegro both scoring one apiece, while Scholls, Jepsen, Sanchez, and Hansen all scored for the away side. Next season, the clubs will be operating with some constraints, as the Cenian Football Association imposed a new rule requiring at least 4 Cenians on each team, although they did reject a proposal to expand the league to 20 teams by a close vote. Thus ended the fifth Cenileague season - and Myrmidon is the champion, crowned for the first time.
