Welcome to the Twenty-First edition of the World Lacrosse Championships!

Nation States longest running premier lacrosse world championship is back. Through out its twenty edition history thirteen nations have beaten the world to lift the most sought after lacrosse championship trophy and bring pride to their nation and start their own legacy. The defending World Lacrosse Champions are Cosmuar, but at the end of this edition it could be you!

Post here to sign up for the tournament and also to bid to become host. Host bids must include form of scorination, format, and RP grading/bonus(if the bidder wishes to disclose) and some hosting experience is not required by highly preferred anything else is not necessary, but highly encouraged.

Official Starian Host Bid for the World Lacrosse Championship XXI

IC Information

Welcome to the Utopian Republic of Star United States, the land of diversity located in the region of Esportiva. With an unknown founding date, the country was created with the joining of five former sovereign states, which are now known as the Estrall, Herbeid, Piaxse, Opangue, and Starix Districts. From the tropical rain forests with exotic animals to the forgotten streets of the country, there is always something interesting to find, be it the culture or language. English, Spanish, and Portuguese are common throughout the country. Almost everyone in Star United States is a fan of at least one sport. The country's capital is known at the City of Star.

The Starian territory also extends to seven beautiful, yet distinct islands, which are known as Alegria, Ilha do Sur, Ilha Central, Paz, Ilha Recife, Sorriso, and Ilha do Norte. Portuguese is the most dominant language on the islands.

OOC Information

The user behind Star United States has hosted various international tournaments: First, Fourth, and Fifth Star Triathlon Worldwide Tournament, International FireStorm Cup VI, Five-A-Side World Cup II, the Quidditch World Cup VI, First Triathlon Championship (with HopNation), and the Runner Cup 4 (with Patistan), as well as a multi-sport federation within the Starian borders.

Format
Order of tournament if ______ sign up.
16 Teams – 4 groups of 4, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place match, final match
20 Teams – 4 groups of 5, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place match, final match
24 Teams – 6 groups of 4, Play-offs (double), Hexagonal Final
26 Teams - Round One (4 groups of 4, 2 groups of 5), Round of 16, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final, Third Place Match, Final Match
28 Teams - 7 groups of 4, Round of 16, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final, Third Place Match, Final Match
30 Teams - 6 groups of 5, Double Playoffs, Hexagonal Final
32 Teams – 8 groups of 4, Round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place match, final match

Tie-Breakers
The tie-breakers will go as following: Points, Goal Difference, Goals For, H2H Points, H2H Goal Difference, H2H Goals For, and lastly, H2H Match.

Scorination and RP Bonus
The lasted version Xkborante will be used to scorinate this events, under the lacrosse option. RP bonus will be generous and cumulative throughout the tournament.
